update
on
open
source
initiatives
and
the
demos.

Talking
about
the
microsoft
365
maturity
model,
it's
actually
a
little
bit
of
a
surprise
to
me
as
well.
What
that
will
be
so
I'm
quite
interested
to
kind
of
learn
what
it
will
be
from
you
guys.

of
code
that
you
wrote
a
solution
that
you
wrote
a
particular
pattern
that
you
used
doesn't
even
have
to

open

just
show

demo
what
you
did
for
a
customer

kind

the
patterns,
that's
great
contribute
on
github.
We
have
several
open
source
repositories
and
we'll
list
them
in
a
second,
but
contributing
can
be
ranging
from
like
adding
a
new
feature
to
just
fixing
some
typos.

contribution
is

contain

a
ton

repositories
with
several
open
source
projects
and
examples.

there's
like
a
massive
amount

source
code
to
find
over
there
and
things
to
contribute
and
to
work
with.

want
to
kind

find

cool

start
from

initiatives

community
docs
or
the
reasonable

controls

those

libraries
what's

the
debt
space,
so
one
thing
to
celebrate
is
that
we
shipped
beta
1
from
the
pmp
car
sdk,
so
our
first
beta
release
of
this
new
library

key
new
things
in
this
one
are
dotnet
5
support.
So
the
nuget
package
has
a
0.5
compiled
version
next
to
a.net
2.0
standard
version.

modern
page
api.
So
if
you

work
with
modern
pages,
we
fully
cover
that
one
and
we
actually
have
some
additional
improvements
around
pages
in
the
pipeline
and
for
this
one
we
spend
a
lot
of
time

building

proper
support

creating
all
the
fields,
including
the
more
special
ones
like
taxonomy,
for
example,
or
look
at
fields
and
also
giving
you
an
easy
support
to
work
with
them.

allows
you
to
take
a
provisioning
template
and
extract
it

commandlet.
You
run
it
and
boom.
You
have
nice,
md,
formatted,
documentation.

also
did
some
fixes
and
authentication
libraries
and
there's
various
other
small
fixes
and
code
cleanup
happening
for
people,
because
they
already
mentioned
the
beta1
release
and
then
going
forward.
Our
focus
now
will
be
on
craftsmanship.
We
want
to
make
things
as
good
as
possible,
fully
documented
for
for
ga.
So,
instead
of
adding
more
features,
we
want
to
focus
on
quality
and
get
to
a
really
high
quality
library.

frame

that

powershell,
so
for
powershell,
what
did
we
do?
There
main
thing
is
now
that
for
the
new
powershell,
the
cross
platform
powershell,
so
this
left
column

here

in
powershell,
5,
powershell,
7,
azure
cloud
shell
and
in
azure
functions
so
everywhere,
essentially
so,
which
is
really
useful.
So
you
can
finally
use
azure
functions,
write
your
script
in
there
and
just
run
it.

highlight
is
this:
the
minus
use
web
plugin
is
back,
so
we
dropped
that,
but
due
to
a
large
demand
from
qunity
and
also
actual
usage
of
this
feature,
telemetry
show
this
was
really
heavily

are
some
caveats
on
the
usage,
so
if
you
try
it
out,
you
will
see
some
warnings,
but
it's
back
and
then
for
the
classic
pnp
powershell,
the
old
one-
and
this
is
actually
also.
This
also
applies
to
the
pnp
size
core.

super
glad
that
microsoft
teams
javascript
sdk.
So
as
you
can
see
in
the
screenshot
here,
it's
only
one
line
essentially
to
initialize
and
start
working
with
the
team's
javascript
sdk.
You
don't
have
to
do
initialize
and
stuff.
It
takes
care
of
all
that
and
you
can
just
verify
that
you're
hosted
in
teams
and
everything
is
initialized
and
fine
and
then
then
code
away.
So
it
simplifies
the
whole
client-side
development
quite
a
lot.

feat
of
this
new
release.
We
had
some
great
discussions
in
the
repo
over
some
build
performance.

notifications
to

to-
let

know
previously,
this
required
a
bot
mostly

it

proactive
message

was
fairly
complex.

api
that
fixes

when

user

sign-on
has
been
out
now
for

weeks

it's
really
hot.

mvc
and
full

a
full
mvc
app

side
of
sso
in
a
web
api,
and
then
hilton
has
kind

double

and
node.js
backends
for
a
react
front
end.

both
really
great
examples

interested

and
they're
all
available
at

it's
quite
difficult
for
us
to
get
buy-in
from
key
decision
makers
as
they
don't
see
the
value
of
the
features

they
don't
see
the
big
picture.
So
what
the
maturity
model
does,
and
it's
aimed
at
business
owners,
key
decision
makers,
technical
consultants
to
enabling
to
see
and
understand
the
benefits
and
the
impact
that
the
365
platform
can
have
on
their
business.

So
the
framework
provides
a
way
of
understanding
the
options
which
might
be
available
for
solving
different
business
problems
and
allows
them
to
see
where
they
currently
are
and
identify
where
they
want
to
be
their
desired
state.
So
then
they
can.
The
organization
can
focus
the
energy
resources
on
the
right
things
for
the
business
and
finally
as
well,
enable
the
business
to
have
a
baseline,
so
it
can
measure
how
it's
doing
on
this
microsoft
365
journey
and
see
how
things
are
improving
over
time.
And
finally,
the
maturity
model
is
part
of
the
365
community.

move
to
level
three,
the
defined

This
is
where
processes
are,
and
this
really
takes
up
a
notch.
Your
process
is
documented
and
they're
enforced
across
the
organization,
and
these
processes
have
been
sort
of
well
thought
out,

so
they
are
proactive
and
and
not
reacting
so
much
to
environment
changes.

So
once
you've
got
level
three,
then
the
level
four
is
quantitatively
managed,
and
this
is
where
we
take
those
documented
processes
which
are
being
constantly
applied
across
the
business
and
we
add
some
measures
to
them
so
that
we
can
see
how
effective
they
are.
And
it's
interesting
to
see
how.
Even
though
this
is
built
in
1986,
you
know
this
ability
to
measure
is
is
what
we
use
in
agile
software
development
today.

So
once
you've
got
processes
which
are
being
measured,
then
we
can
sort
of
move
to
the
holy
grail
of
level.
Five,
where
we
can
start
optimizing
processes
and
we
can
make
tweaks
to
the
process
and
then
measure
the
effect
that
has
on
the
organization
and
on
those
processes.
So
we
can
select
the
tweaks
which
work
best
for
us,
so
we
can
improve
those
processes.
