just

transformation

the
modern

first
time.

contributed

trying

find
the

right
entry
point
into
the
community
to
start

rhythm
sort

aligned
with
what
I
do
at
work
and
by
keeping
that
close

found
project
that
was
very
close
to
what
I
was
trying
to
do,
which
was
the
modernization

entry
point
was
actually
a
PR,
a
very
small
one,
because
I
wanted
to
test
the
waters.

terms

the
PR
process
and
stuff
like
that
up
in
TFS
for
years
and
sort
of
shifting

mentality

over
to
Burt,
which
was
a
simple
thing,
was
to
essentially
transfer
him
from
one
site
collection
to
another.

at
that
time
the
tooling
was
just
within
the
same
site:
collection,
yeah
and
I
introduced
that
and
from
there
we
started
developing
a
dialogue
through
the
issues
list
and
some
teams
calls
and
things
like
that
to
understand
the
best
way
of
working
forward.
So
we've
done
for
each
the
features
that
I've
worked
on
to
communicate
out.
What
was
in
my
head,
I
ended
doing
a
lot
of
mini
designs
within
the
issues,
and
then
he
would
feedback
on
to
it,
and
then
we
end
up
in
a
direction.

Similarly,
as
well
as
I
was
developing,
the
the
sections,
the
modernization
tool
and
I've
worked
on.
I
would
then
face
a
scenario
at
work
with,
with
with
using
that
and
and
I
would
feed
that
back,
and
then
we
would
take
that
full
and
say,
for
example,
publishing
pages
put
this
for
publishing
pages
came
in.
We
had
a
lot
of
challenges
around.

do
we
do
with
page
layouts
and
things
like
that?
Do
we
just
hate
the
concept
to
try
and
work
out
how
the
the
layouts
are
formed
and
in
the
end
we
went
down
the
content
web
part
route
because,
obviously,
with
with
custom
Internet's,
you
get
a
lot
of
CSS
and
JavaScript
things
around
on
the
screen.
So
it's
very
difficult
to
extract
out
where
the
target
locations
would
be
in
the
modern
site.
So
essentially
was
more
about
the
content
right
over
to
to
the
modern
experience,
but.

I
guess
so
I
think,
like
the
experience
you
me
you
mentioned,
I,
think
that
is
a
typical,
if
not
even
the
best
way,
to
contribute
right
because
they're,
like
you,
have
a
real
use
case
really
like
in
the
real
life
use
case
from
from
the
field
for
something
that
people
truly
need.
Well
so,
and
if
you
need
that
well,
the
others
are
high
that
somebody
else
will
need
it
too.

what
I'm
gonna
do
is
I'm
gonna
use
my
spare
time
and
I
bear
the
risk
in
terms
of
time
and-
and
it
also
gives
me
the
opportunity
to
contribute
back
to
the
community,
which
I
have
personally
used
a
lot
of
EMP
power,
so
quite
heavily
and
samples,
and
things
like
that,
and
it
was
really
good
to
be
able
to
say
you
know
what
I'll
do
this
in
my
spare
time.
It's
totally
worth
the
effort
and
if
it
doesn't
work
there
is
a
there
is
a
full
back
route.
It's
horrible!
It's
manual
copy
and
pasting.

Mean
there
are
only
so
many
things
you
can
do
right,
I
mean,
on
the
other
hand,
despite
your
size
and
everything
that
be
cool
thing,
Microsoft
does
not
have
unlimited
resources
to
do
everything
and
anything,
especially
if
you
think
about
a
product
that
has
been
around
for
almost
20
years
right.
There
are
so
many
different
things
like
your
team.
I
would
have
to
be
massive
to
support
all
of
that
right.
So
instead
you
just
choose
the
things
that
only
you
can
do
and
whatever
you
cannot
do
well,
whatever
does
not
fit
well
community.

an
acute
clarification
actually
also
how
to
get
involved
on
the
on
the
community
liking.
Like
I
said
in
in
whenever
you
started,
the
sharing
is
carrying
initiatives,
its
run
by
David,
and
here
good
did
in
access
to
that.
That's
a
really
great

by
the
way
for
learning
how
to
get
started.
But
then
it's
really
around
the
fact
that
finding
the
area
which
is
interesting
and
then
finding
the
project
owner
starting
a
discussion
and
starting
contributing
and
then
it
can
start
it's
a
kind
of
a
rolling.

Getting
on
Prem
director
on
my
knees,
because
when
I
was
I,
got
a
couple
of
blog
posts
that
that
describe
the
strategy
in
which
to
get
an
on
premise.
So,
unlike
when
I
was
writing
my
first
one,
which
was
essentially
use
a
migration,
told
hop
up
a
copy
of
the
2010
intercept
online
fix
its
visual
issues,
or
at
least
enough
of,
if
you
use
the
UI
and
then
move
it
out,
then
run
the
modernization
holding
against
it
over
to
month,
and
that
hopping
was
very
expensive
in
time.
I
first
got
molest
painful
way.

mean
it's
on
premise:
I
know
that
the
PMP
pattern
I
can
connect
to
two
older
versions
of
SharePoint
2013
I
think
it
goes
back
to
terms
of
support.
Let's

we

push
it
slightly
further
back.

organization
tolling
the
supports
that
and
if
every
man
around
it
may
break
because
of
the
lack,
the
lack
of

some
properties
and
methods
and
things

reality

very

run

code

server
and
you
would
use
the
server-side
web
to
access
and
you
would
have
access
to
virtually
anything.
You
want
it
like,
whatever
you
want

to
access
this
or
that,
like
you,
would
access
the
API
directly.
There
was
no
need
to
run
remote
code
because
why,
like
nobody,
did
did
then
sure.

On
premise
is
still
a
big
thing
as
an
example
when
we
released
the
Dortmund
standard
version
of
SharePoint's
season
last
week
and
there
was
a
lot
of
feedback
and
we
know
this
feedback
and
that
we
were
saying
why
isn't
it
for
sure
upon
2019
either
I'll
burst?
The
maturity
of
people,
hopefully
are
already
at
the
cloud.

But
there
is
a
big
portion
of
people
who
are
still
forced
to
work
in
on-premises
saving
in
2010
or
2013
2016
2019
version
and
SharePoint
was
really
one
of
the
key
reasons
why
the
office
365
the
has
been
so
successful,
was
actually
the
fact
that
shipment
was
so
successful
in
on-premises,
because
that
was
the
first
thing.
What
people
moved
over
right
after
email
email
was
the
logical
one,
obviously,
but
still
so.

One
thing
I
do
see
actually
with
young
Prime
Minister
Fayyad
part
of
why
I
did
is
to
get
people
on
to
365,
so
pyro
and
onboarding
migrations
that
kind
of
stuff
and
there's
a
lot
of
poorly
looked
after
farms
that
I
encounter
yeah
that
just
don't
people
just
treat
it
as
a
service.
So
it's
a
service
to
people
to
use,
but
they
don't
think
about
the
infrastructure
pioneer.

is
absolutely
one
of
the
key
key
reasons
why
the
cloud
is
the
recommended
way,
because
somebody
else
is
taking
care
of
all
of
that
and
there's
an
SLA
for
it
and
there's
an
own
costs,
because
I
still
remember

well
I
when
I
used
to
do
on-premises,
actual
projects
and
writing
code
and
all
of
that
stuff
it
never.
Ever
ever
the
projects
were
still
delivered
on
time
with
the
budget
it
was
kept
in
fiber.

the
fact
that
it's

hard
to
estimate
the
costs
and
operations
and
then,
whenever
they
will
say
see
you
update
or
a
service
pack
updates

ended
up
doing
the

update
during
weekend,
so
that

that
on
Sunday,
like
Saturday
4:00
p.m.
you're,
like

have
a
date
coming

underestimate
how
complex
it
is

operate

your
experience

patch
it

runs

Sharepoint
is
very
much
not
the
case

update
you'd

have
impact
on
whatever
you
have
built

as
we
know,
there
are
20
million
ways
to
build
things

the

had
more
partisan
approaches
to
building
things.

on

break

need
to
have

any
way
you
can

having
more
than
one
tenant

that
if

developing

framework

deal

one
case,
a
long
time
ago,
one
of
my
first
365
implementations
back
in
2013
I,
wrote
at
all
that
I
wish
I
could
have
publicized
if
I
can't,
but
I
wrote
all
that
took
production
data
kept
all
of
its
metadata
and
replaced
the
binary
object
as
it
transfers
to
a
test
environment.
So
you
get
all
of
the
the
the
metadata
and
all
that
stuff.

get
the
content
of
the
file,
so
if
it
was
sensitive
where
it
needed
to
be
scrubbed
for
Pio
on
the
last
day,
then
that
was
done
on
the
fly

That's
how
I've
worked
around
those
kind

efficient
way

doing

that

of
flexibility

and

grown

networking

know
my

limits

strongest,

since

contributing
putting
code
on

doing

something
for
the
communities
actually
changed,

way
I
interact
with
people
and

plus.

not
just
about
the
technology.
It's
almost
becoming
a
huge
family
in
a
lot
of
ways.

important
I
think
imma,

and

and
many
others
are
pushing
on
the
human
side
of
IT

lot,
which
is
a
great
thing,
because
people
need
to
understand
every
single
one
of
us
are
just
human
beings,
normal
humans
and
communicate
differently,
I'm
an
introvert
as
an
example
and
people
who
didn't
know
this
well.
Technos
does
really
well
because
I've
basically
avoided
people
since
2075.

But
it's
one
of
those
things
where,
as
a
consultant
or
a
say
as
a
social
media
person,
it
doesn't
necessarily
shall
be
shows
it's
not
necessarily
visible.

a
massive
introvert.

perceptions

open
source
is
the
great
really
like

unique
way
for
you
to
work
together
with
anybody
right
because,
like
as
we
easy
say
right
like
you
have
a
day
job,

that
means
you
work
for
a
company
or
you
work
in

UK.

and
you
get
to
work
with
customers,
companies
and
whatnot.
So
that
is
right
like
really
bound,
so
you
don't
always
get
to
choose
the
colleagues
you
have.

you
have
this
open
sourcing,
where,
if
you
look
up
to
someone,
if
you
find
like
wow,
that
guy
is
clever
well,
open-source
is
the
way
for
you
to
learn
from
that
person
submit
me
are,
and
maybe
that
person.
If

person
is
not
nice,
because
there
are
photo
wallet
and
you
will
get
burned
and
you
will
learn-
and
you
will
learn
like
well
that
this
still
even
though
I
thought
there
was,
there
was
an
idol.

a
person
and
maybe

rough
day
or
whatever,
