nuances

building
the
stuff
using
SharePoint
framework,
which
is
not
only
obviously
for
SharePoint,
even
though
the
name
implies
on
that.

benefits
of
using
SharePoint
framework,
which,

was
actually
kind
of
interesting
to
get
it
out,
said
out
loud
by
a
partner
because
you
can
use
the
SharePoint
from
SharePoint
framework
is
hosted
in
a
customer
tenant,

the
compliance,
the
security
everything
else
is
like.

problem,

there's

challenge

the

product

one

challenges
that
nearly
everybody

training
course
asked

cross-site
collection,
aggregation

we
that
that's
what
led
to
the
lightning
conductor,
which
was
the

cross-site
collection,
roll-up
tool,
which

the

organization

CompTIA
and
lots
of
people
getting
certified

that,

you

sort

new

the
IT
industry

reading
this
chapter
that

courseware

said
one
day
we're
gonna
have
on-demand
television.

was
like
that's
crazy,.

lot
less
control
over
over
that,
and
certainly
as
an
isv,
we

suffered
from
delivering
the
functionality
that
people
had
expected
of
our
products
so
and
there's
still
a
little
bit
of
that
today,
but
not
anywhere
near

much

their

Waters
I
mean
there
were
certain
things
like
you
know:
cross-site
collection,
roll-up
that
we
just
couldn't
do
when
Office
365
came
out.
It
was
almost
impossible
search
right.

a
lovely
interface
to
the
lightning
adapter
and
so

can
aggregate
content
extremely
easily
through
through
the
graph,

search
or
through

things
definitely
changed
and
like
so
you
used
to
get
those
big
packs
of
of
CDs
and
DVDs
and

still
from
there.
Now
you
don't
have
to

can
just
spin
up

environment

see
from
a
partner
perspective?
We
talked

this

probably

the

partner
opportunities.

opportunities

partner
program
has
got
stronger
from

point

view

mostly
through
direct
relationships

lightning
tools,
and
you
think
of

this
and
so
on.

think
that
type
of
Engagement
is
really
super
useful

of
course,
the
MVP
programs

help
with

necessarily
just
the

Microsoft
MVP
they're.

partner
program,

interested

see
what
sort
of
Direction
it
will.

gaining
points

using

Azure,

quite
challenging
even
on
submitting
apps

the

mostly
we're
almost
not
fitting
into
that
category

somebody.

customers

the
operational
cost
for
you

package
separately

MVP

first
time
and

chose
that
year
to
move

there

lived

three
years

nomination
process,

emailed

MVP
lead
in
the
states
and
sorry
in
the
UK
and
said
we
can't
award
you
the
MVP,
because
you're

UK,

I
got
lost
in

system
somewhere
and

kept
getting
nominated.

SharePoint.
We
hosted
SharePoint
sun
to
the
UK
for

several
years
and
that's
evolved
now
into
doing
Club
days,
which
is
part
of
the
club
submit

added
Hugo's,
sort
of
family
of
events
and
yeah.
One
of
the
things
that
we
we
did.

It's
actually
the
MVP
lead
here
in
the
UK
that
introduced
me
to
the
the
national
museum
of
computing,
and
this
was
at
the
start
of
the
pandemic
as
well,
so
being
a
museum.
They
were
in
a
very
difficult
position:
they're
based
on
Bletchley
Park,
where
yeah
that's
cool,
Alan,
Turing,
cracked,
the
Enigma
code
and
all
that
sort
of
stuff.

so
of
course
they
had
no
no
football
going
into
the
museum,
no
contributions
from
anybody,
and
yet
they
were
having
to
house
computers
such
as
Colossus
and
the
bomb
and
all
these
40s
machines
that
were
used

place

code
was
actually
cracked
back
in
the
day.
So
it's
even
if
they
moved
to
New
premises.

wouldn't
have
that
same

sort

we
made

contributions

doing

community

autism

young
adults

couldn't
get
jobs
and
things
like
that
to
learn.

one

the
things
they
had
a
shortage
of
was
was
actually
computers
to
use
so
modern
computers.
They
could
teach
programming
on

we
just
got
a
bunch
of
raspberry
pies,
and
that
was
our
contribution
at
the
time.
But
then
I
had
this
idea
of
well,
rather
than
giving
all
this
money
to
a
conference
center
or
a
hotel
or
something
to
host
a
collab
days.

money,
that
contribution
and

so
on
and
I
got
involved
also
as
a
mentor.
So
we
were
doing
some
mentoring
with
Young
children,
basically
who
just
wanted
to
get
into
it
and
there's
some
good
stories
like
there
was

13
year
old
girl
who
wanted
to
do
or
study
computer
science
at
GCSE
level,
and
she
didn't
get
that
elective.
The
class
was
full,
so
she
couldn't
at
her
school.

so
she
was
one
of
the
people
that
was
actually
just
turning
up
at
the
Museum
on
a
Sunday
to
to
learn
and
yeah.
These
were
the
people
that
we
were
just
sort
of
helping
to
to
teach,
and
it
was
incredible

them

just
doing

They
were
young
kids
about
six
or
seven.
They
were
learning
Minecraft
and
things
like
that.
Others
were
doing
Python
and

so
on.

speakers
covering
pretty
much
all

Microsoft
365
stuff.

a
sister
event
to
the
collab

North
America,
which
is
run
by
Mark
Rackley,
so
that
is
held
in
the
middle
of
nowhere
somewhere.
Nobody
ever
knows
where
it
is

you
can
go
to
Branson
and
attend
that
one,
but
they
actually
started
Club
days,
which
is
a
more
Regional
event
and
it's
typically
one
day
long
as
opposed
to
several
days

we've

also
one
in
Lisbon,
that's
just
taking
place
as
well,
and
that
I
see
a
few
popping
up
in
New,
England
and
places
like

work

goes
off

radar

structure

sense

it's
just
the
structure
