Hi and welcome to teens app Camp I'm masako Kodama director for our commercial Marketplace team and I'm, really glad you're. Here now, let's talk about Microsoft team strategy, we'll start with satya's quote. The Microsoft cloud is the only Cloud that supports everything and organization needs adopt to hybrid work. It starts with teams, it's where people meet, chat, call collaborate and automate business process all within the flow of work. No other solution offers this today, as we have experience in pandemic.

We get to know and talk to the people through the screen and everything is Philippines and teams is the fastest growing product in Microsoft history, and we hope that we can bring in the solutions of isv in the screen that we have in the screen that the people use and that's what we wanted to talk today before we talk about the isvs. Let's talk about teams.

We have more than 270 million monthly active users for teens, more than 500 000 organization use teams and the more people use the application.

A

um We see the growth for it and then it is important that we make sure that our isvs are on this platform. That is growing at the speed of light.

We have some numbers here, but it is growing at the like 100 apps per month, and it is growing really really fast, and what we wanted to talk about is hey get on this, because we want you as an isv to be successful.

A

Now, what kind of application can you make? We have many things that we can do about messaging extensions task modules and so forth, but think that there's some tactic that you can use. So if your interest on creating some team solution start from the templates that we have and see what the best practices are and see where you can start, but the beauty is how much integration will your application going to be on teams that is going to be the key because the sticker it is and then and they don't have to change the screens.

That's productivity and the customers want productivity, so make sure that you're creating an application that works on teams.

Now, after creating a teams, application I want you to make money, we wanted to help you to grow the revenue and we wanted to help you to lower the cost, and that will be done to Microsoft commercial Marketplace partner, who will be putting everything in partner Center. This is where you enter everything, and then everything will go into the Commerce platform ink from the eyes of the buyers. They have multiple ways to see your application.

It might be in direct way, it might be by 90 000 person, csb Partners or it might be from the field setters when it is direct, it can be from appsource or it can be in teams in product store that I just talked about 270 million monthly active users or it might be in the hands of an it pro.

It pro will use teams or Microsoft specific admin Center, but the key is you enter once and all of the stores will look at what you had entered and you don't have to change your contents by the channel, and this can be done through Microsoft, commercial Marketplace.

So you may Wonder, hey I am setting my software in my web page Why do I have to sell in Marketplace. What's the benefit, Marketplace is going to make your business to go to the next level.

You should keep on the setting your own product in your web page like please do so but add Marketplace in your platform. Why three reasons one? You can extend new sales, Channel I just talked about like 270 million monthly active users for the team team store, but we have millions of Microsoft customers coming to the app Source we sell over 140, geographies and csb partners. This takes decade for Microsoft to create this partner ecosystem that sells Microsoft products like what, if this is 90 000 CSP Partners can attach your solution to Microsoft.

First party: that's going to be a win-win-win situation, because customer will get more um value from it. The csb partners have more opportunity to sell and isvu have extended all of the network.

The second thing is: you: can x-ray your business reduce the time by using the Microsoft 365 app compliance program? Many customers think about the governance. Many customers care about compliance. What, if you, if you had to go through each customer and go through that compliance one by one it takes hours or days.

A

So what if you are done with Microsoft 365 app compliance program and one of the partners said that, thanks to that, I, don't have to go to the hundreds of questions. They just said that, oh, you are in the M65 app compliance program and, okay, maybe trust you. That is the trust that you can get and it is free of cost. Microsoft will pay for you to be compliant so take that advantage.

At the same time, it will increase the customer deployment adoption time because they don't have to go through that separate procurement. They don't have to go to uh configuration. It is all done the marketplace. So it's piece of things and earn the marketing benefit and the rewards that I will talk about later and that will speed up your business.

Third, reduce costs, use the all the information that we have increases at camp like build faster with.

You know, ready to use and use this app Cam confidence, because what we wanted to do is we wanted to help you to decrease the time before, creating an application, and then I talked about like you enter once in commercial Marketplace, and it will open the gates for everyone, including the direct CSP and our field in the armsetters, and if the customer wants a special deal say that they're going to purchase 1 000 licenses, is there any terms and conditions or price that I can negotiate?

If that happens, then you're going to give a private plan for your customer. So it's something to think about it, of making your reach to a next level.

A

Now, what would that cause? It's three percent fat transaction fee. Let's imagine your application's hundred dollar, then three dollars is going to be an agency fee for Microsoft and 97 is going to go into the isv three percent. You may say: hey, it is a little bit expensive, but how much are you paying for credit card?

A

How much do you think it will take to create a 90, 000 plus partners? How much do you think it will take to go to the world? If you add that up? Do you think three percent is expensive? hmm You should think about it, because industry standard is 20 and we wanted to do this to help you grow the business and also reduce the cost.

Now, if that is not enough, then I would suggest you to join Microsoft 365 benefit program, go to aka.ms, Modern work isv.

This is a free program and you just need to submit a form and that will open up of 101 consultations, technical benefits and then, if you're doing great, we'll do the go to market benefit as well. In this modern work, isv there is a successful partners and those are things that we create. Together we create a video, we create the PowerPoint, we created documents to increase your awareness and also increase the interest from the customer.

It is between July, 1st and 2022 to June 30th 2023, but if you are creating a teams app that have three conditions: it's transactable in Marketplace and it has high quality criteria which is aad, SSO, enabled and two collaborative features of teams and teams. Then you are going to earn 10 000 just making it I mean publishing it with high quality, ten thousand dollars, and if name, that application grow the business and have more than 5 000 monthly, active users or have more than 2500 000 you're going to get another 10 000.
