in
microsoft,
teams

collaboration.

Today,
I
wanted
to
talk
about
some
recent
dialogue
eye
changes
that
we've
made
to
address
a
security
vulnerability,
so
this
only
impacts
your
add-in,
if
you
use
cross-domain
communication
between
your
dialogue
and
task
pane.
So
if
you're
calling
a
different
domain
from
within
either
of
those,
if
you
are
going
to
the
same
domain,
the
behavior
is
unaffected
and
it
will
everything
will
continue
to
work
as
normal.

So
the
takeaway
here
is
that
if
you
are
using
cross
domain,
we
have
now
introduced
a
new
parameter
called
target
origin
that
you
will
need
to
pass.
As
part
of
that
call,
so
here
is
essentially
what
it
looks
like
you
will
be
passing
the
target
origin.
This
is
very
similar
to
the
post
message
tag
at
origin
and
we
do
support
the
use
of
the
wildcard
key
if
you
are
not
sending
any
sensitive
information.

if
this
is
not
specified,
we
will
just
assume
the
same
domain.
So
your
original
api
call
will
work
as
normal
if
you
are
using
same
domain,
calls
so
we're
doing
a
staggered
release
for
this,
starting
with
the
window
dialogue,
so
iframe
equals
false
on
online.
So
this
is
already
live
and
we
are
so
and
then
we
are
rolling
out
the
inline
dialogue
changes
a
little
later.

what
that
means
I'll
go
into
a
little
bit
more
detail
for
some
of
these.
We
do
offer
a
grace
period
which
allows
you
to
essentially
address
your
add-in
and
amend
it
after
that
grace
period.
If
you
are
using
cross-domain
communication
that
will
fail.
So
in
addition
to
that,
we
are
also
including
a
dialogue.
Origin
requirement
set.
What
that
means
is
that
if
security
is
important
for
you
adam,
you
can
query
this
requirements
to
see
whether
the
version
of
office
has
been
patched
and
we
will
return
either
1.1
or
1.2.

So
1.2
is
that
it
has
been
fully
patched
and
1.1
is
a
partial
hatch
as
we're
rolling
out
the
window,
dialogue
and
inline
dialogue
on
online.
So,
as
I
talked
about
earlier,
we
are
offering
a
grace
period.
So
during
this
period
the
call
will
go
ahead
as
normal
you
will.
It
will
not
be
a
breaking
change
for
online
during
the
gross
purge.

Your
users
will
actually
see
a
prompt,
I'm
alerting
them
that
there
is
cross-domain
communication
during
the
message,
parent
or
message
child,
and
then
they
would
have
to
accept
and
that
that
answer
is
cash
for
24
hours
for
mac.
Once
it
goes
out
with
the
july
fork,
there
will
be
a
one
month,
race
period,
there
will
be
no
prompt.
Your
communication
will
just
work
as
before
and
on

mentioning
some
of
the
insertion
apis
like
you,
can
insert
geometric
shapes
lines
and
text
boxes,
and
on
top
of
that,
you
can
manipulate
some
of
the
basic
properties
of
these
objects
like
position,
size
and
name
and
afterwards,
a
bit
of
the
advanced
parameters.

properties

these
objects
like
color
transparency,
style
and
weight.
Then

would
like
to
mention
more
on
the
text
frame
and
range
properties
like
retreating,
the

setting
the
substrings,

alignment,
color
and
style.

action

controller

is

set
a
scope.
So
the
first
thing
we
need
to

is

figure
out
what
teams
are
even
there
and
so
we're
going
to
set
our
scopes
to
team,
read
basic
all
and
then
we're
going
to
call
the
graph
api
and
everything
in
this
is
working
through
the
graph
api.

and
look
at
the
joined
teams

are
out
there
and
then

get

embed
it
in
the
list
that
we
send

view

and
then

user

the
channel
they're
going
to
call,
they
hit
submit
it's
going
to
call
upload
spreadsheet.

channel
list
comes
in
and
this
is
a
comma
delimited
list
of
parameters,
and
so
all
I'm
doing
here
is
just
splitting
that
out.
So
we
got
our
channel
id.
Our
team
id
and
the
channel
name,
so
it's
like
the
three
things
we
need
to
go
upload
and
then
here's
where
we
set
the
file
name.
So
if
you
want
to
choose
a
different
file
name,
you
can
change
that
here.

have
this
helper
class
called
spreadsheet
builder,
which
is
going
to
use
ooxml
to
construct
the
spreadsheet
in
memory
and
by
the
way,
that's
the
reason
I'm
using
asp.net
project,
because
ooxml
is
based
on.net,
so
it
just
makes
it
easier
to
work
here
instead
of
liking
node.js,
although
there
is,
I
believe,
a
node.js
version
of
ooxml
out
there
somewhere
and,
I
would
say
like
if
somebody
ever
wanted
to
help
us
out
on
the
github
repo
and
create
a
version
of
this
that
runs
on
node.js.
That
would
be
very
cool.

Basically,
it's
going
to
construct
the
spreadsheet,
though,
and
give
us
back
a
byte
array
of
that
entire
spreadsheet
and
when
we
create
it
we're
going
to
create
a
sheet
inside
of
it.
That's
named
product
sales,
that's
what
this
name
is
and
then
we're
going
to
call
upload
the
spreadsheet
to
onedrive.
So
we
pass
it.

needed

spreadsheet

not

how
the
open
xml
sdk
works,
but
I'll
provide

information
on

it's

creating
the
spreadsheet

memory
stream

was
this
kind
of
industry
challenging
part
trying
to
figure
out
how
to
create
one
of
these
without
actually
creating
a
file
on
the
disk,
and
then
we
add
in
the
workbook
part.
Eventually
we
put
in
a
worksheet
and
what
we're
trying
to
get
to
is
inside
of
there.
It
will
have
sheet
data.

that's
where
we're
eventually
trying
to
get
to
this.
That's
where
you
want
to
instagram
datas
into
that
particular
object.
So
then
there's
two
output
methods
to
insert
the
header,
because
that's
text
fields
and
then
we
insert
the
data
under
that

that's
all

numerical
values
so
and
then.

modifying

add-in.

make

your
id,
so

is
hard-coded
to
script
lab
right
now,

have

mention
in
our
community
spotlight
sending

response
to
your
post
about
runtimes
and
xml
errors,
I
am
also
having
the
same
issue.

appears
to
be
a
bug
in
visual
studio,
2019,
there's
a
link
to
the
issue
there.
So
what
can
happen
is
sometimes
in
visual
studio
2019,
particularly
if
you
like
you're,
trying
to
add
shared
runtime,
which
is
using
newer
elements
in
your
manifest
you'll
start
getting
manifest
validation
errors,
and
this
is
because
visual
studio,
2019
shipped
with
the
version
of
the
xsds
at
the
time
for
the
manifest
and
they've
advanced
a
bit
since
then,
so
you
can
actually
update
them
and
there
is
some
documentation.

you
go
to
this
troubleshooting,
manifest
validation
errors
in
visual
studio
projects,
it
will
walk
you
through
how
to
update
those
xsd
files
so
that
those
errors
go
away,
and
then
we
have,
when
is
the
ga

custom,

we
don't
have
an

but
we're
hoping
