adoption

invested
in
pulling
this
resource
together
is,

many

you

the
last
few
years,
the
team
has
been
very
focused
on
making
it
easier

build
an
intranet
on
sharepoint.
It's

process

organizations
need
to
go
through
oftentimes.
You
need
to
build
a
business
case
to
get
investment
into
into
this
into
your
intelligent
internet.

it
starts

what
the

employee

boarding

is
a
series
of
sharepoint
templates
that
are
intended
to
help
new
employees
on
board
successfully.

We
did
some
surveying
of
customers
and
this
rated
very
very
highly
so
that
was
obviously
a
big
motivation
for
us
investing
in
this
area,
but
it
turns
out
that
there's
a
big
opportunity
in
terms
of
improving
new
employee
onboarding
there's,
I
think,
two
sort
of
overall
drivers
of
that
one
of
them
is
traditionally
new.
Employee
onboarding
from
a
process
standpoint
has
been
very
challenging.

There's
in
fact
been
some
third-party
surveying
done
on
this,
and
I
believe
this
dot
was
only
12
of
new
hires
thought.
The
onboarding
process
was
was
helpful
or
successful,
so
lots
of
room
for
improvement-
that's
always
been
there,
I
would
say,
but
certainly
with
the
pandemic
and
people
having
to
work
remotely
for
many
organizations,
hiring
has
not
stopped
in
the
case
of
services.
Essentially,
in
fact,
it's
accelerated,
but
there
isn't
a
place
to
go
physically
to
onboard
those.
A

Employees
so
having
a
digital
onboarding
experience
can
can
be
really
powerful,
and
you
can
see
some
of
the
benefits
here
for
organizations
that
do
onboarding
correctly.
It
can
help
with
new
higher
performance
and
time
to
productivity.
It
can
help
with
reducing
a
new
employee
churn,
a
third
of
new
employees
when
they
start
an
organization
within
the
first
couple
months,
they're
looking
for
another
job,
it
can
be
overwhelming,
as
we
all
know.

If
for
me,
I
have
to
think
back
12
years
ago,
but
I
can
remember
it
being
an
overwhelming
experience
so
by
onboarding
again
new
employees
correctly.
That
can
go
a
long
way
in
making
them
feel
like
they
belong
and
wanting
to
stick
around
and
reducing
that
that
churn
all
right.
So
now
you
know
why
we
built
it
and
what
some
of
the
opportunities
are
for
investing
yourself
in
in
this
area.
Let's
actually
take
a
look
at
what
the
new
employee
onboarding
hub
provides.

I
would

extensive

that
there's
three
site
types
that
get
included
as
part
of
the
hub.
That's
why
we
call
it
a
hub
not
to
be
confused
with
sharepoint
hubs.
We
went
through
a
marketing
and
brand
discussion
with
our
marketing
team
members
and
landed
on
that.

Being
the
the
best
name,
despite
there
being
obviously
some
some
overlap,
but
there
is
a
pre-on-boarding
site
for
hires
who
have
officially
signed
the
paperwork
but
haven't
yet
joined.
They
haven't,
walked
in
the
virtual
door,
really
powerful
to
to
begin
onboarding.
At
that
stage.
There's
some
documented
benefits
that
that
can
come
with
that
turns
out.

Onboarding
is
a
team
sport,
so
we've
included
a
corporate
onboarding
site
which
I'll
show
you
I'm
going
to
show
you
all
three
of
these
and
then
also
departments
need
to
onboard
employees
in
parallel
with
the
corporate
hr
team,
because
you're
not
just
joining
an
organization,
you're
joining
a
department
and
a
team.
So
that's
where
you'll
find
the
sites,
and
once
you
install
it,
what
I'm
going
to
be
demoing

is
is
what
you'll

hires

they'll

questions

expectations
set
properly.
Now,

today's
day
and
age,
you
can
see
that
the
designs

this

done

kovid,

it
might
be
a
little
bit
different
for
at
least
the
next
few
months,
but
it's
a
good
way
for
new
hires
to
get
prepared.
For
that
first
day,
that's
pre-boarding.
I
promised
that
there
were
types,
so
the
next
one
is
corporate
onboarding.

this
is
once
I've
actually
officially
joined
I'm
entering
the
organization.
I've
got
the
right
credentials
because,
with
this
pre-boarding
site
we
do
use
external
guest
access
within
sharepoint
to
restrict
restart
hires,
to
be
able
to
only
access
the
site.
We
don't
want
them
to
have
access,
of
course,
to
our
systems
and
confidential
information
because
they
haven't
yet
officially
started
okay,
so
I've
just
started
my
first
day
I'm
going
to
learn
about
the
organization,
and
this
is
a
great
way
to
orientate
yourself.

I
can
learn
about
the
story
of
the
company.
I
can
meet
the
leadership
team,
and
so,
if
you're
building
your
own
new
hire
site
using
the
site
templates,
you
could
just
go
in
and
change
the
swap
in
the

right
names-

this
gives
you
a
good
sort
of
design
for
presenting
your
your
leadership
team
and
that's
how
we
hope
and
believe
we're
really
accelerating
your
implementation
of
a
solution
like

rather

to
start

We
didn't
need
to
research
that

know

really
really

So
lots

is

the
new

a

we

customers

of

using
the

We
just
embedded
that
into
the
corporate
onboarding

I

If
I

the

heard
horror
stories
where
you
know
for
some
people
they
had
a
manager
who,
unfortunately,
either
didn't
know
or
wasn't
that
interested
in
onboarding
and
that
new
hire
had
a
very
bad
experience
versus
somebody
coming
on
to
the
same
organization
having
a
wonderful
onboarding
experience.
So
consistency
is
a
real
challenge
and
so
we've
defined
as
a
starting
point
again
this
onboarding
journey.
We
call
it
the
new
hire
checklist,
so
this
is
using
microsoft
lists
and
basically,
an
outline
of
the
different
tasks
that
new
hires
should
be
doing
on
day.

I've
read
stats
where
it
takes.
On
average,
eight
months
for
a
new
hire
to
get
up
to
speed,
maybe
that's
that's
too
long
for
a
lot
of
organizations,
so
we
settled
on
three
months,
but
you
can
easily
edit
this
sharepoint
list
add
edit
delete
what
what
works
for
you,
and
this
can
be
a
checklist
that
all
new
hires
use
so
that
they're
going
through
the
the
same
journey
and
so
I'll
just
scroll
to
show
you
some
of
the
other
columns.

locations
can
can
be

I
think
this
is
a
great
template

again,
because
a
lot

organizations

orientate
the
new
hire
into
into
their
department,
and
so
we've
got
a
departmental,
onboarding
template.
This
one
is
for
engineering
we've
actually
built
two
just
to
give
you
some
different
flavors,
the
other
one
is
sales.

sorts

happening

sure

your
environment
and
the
just
the
breadth

we're
always
adding
new

content.

I
think,
is
pretty
extensive,
so
you'll
find
that
that
it's
quite
useful,
we
did,
as
I
mentioned,
do
a
new
release
version
we're
now
up
to

It
was
4.0
that
brought
in
multilingual
support.
That
was
the
number
one
request
that
we
had
from
customers.
We
support
now
9
languages
as
well.

getting
started,
app
template
which
basically
brings
learning
pathways
into
microsoft,
teams,
which
can
be
great
for
organizations
that
are
adopting

adopted
microsoft
teams
and
really
want

to
be
kind

for

solution
