the
winter

My
name

tessa
yuvanan,
I'm
a
program
manager
in
the
microsoft,
resist
platform
level
and
I've
been
kind
of
hosting
this
course
as
well.
For
the
past
few
months,
we
are
doing
some
changes
in
the
future
on
this
course
trying
to
get
them
more.
Let's
say
engaging
for
you
as
well
and
more
optional,
not
optional,
more
important
for
our
audience
as
well.

that

slightly

now

on
on

So,
first
of
all,
I
will

a
quick
recap

the
news
and
assets
which
are
available
for
you
to
take
advantage
on
the
team's
development
gonna.
We
kind
of
recap
some
of
the
microsoft
build
announcements
related
on
microsoft
teams
and
just
to
make
sure
that
you're
up
to
date
on
what
they
are
where
they
are,
how
to
get
started.
What
are
the
the
status
of
those
announcements
as
well?

not
going
to
go
through
all
of
the
announcements,
but
the
major
ones.
Then
we'll
have
an
optional

then
we
have

are

We

different

we

365
community

you

all

the
community

community
demos,
all
of
that
stuff
from
one
single

we
actually
collected
from
the
community
so
meaning
you
people
and
we
have
quite
a
diverse
set
of
community
calls
happening
in
the
weird
times
in
different
times
throughout
the
month,
and
what
we
need
with
that
one
is
that,
as
an
example,
we
have
the
craft
community
call
happening
on
first
tuesday,
sharepoint
community
call
on
the
second
tuesday,
microsoft
teams,
community
call
on
the
third
tuesday
of
every
single
month,
and
some
of
those
calls
happens
on
thursday
wednesday.
Some
of
them
happen
at
7am.
Some
of
them
happen
at
8.
A
00
am
some
of
them
happen
at
9am,
and
it's
really
really
difficult
for
people
to
understand
which
goals
are
happening
and
when
so,
based
on
the
learnings.
What
we
had
with
our
microsoft,
racist
five
developer,
call
by
weekly
call
happening
on
thursday
and
the
sharepoint
framework
community
called
autograph
for
microsoft
teams,
and
we
are
now
adjusting
this
slightly
so
we're
at
least
combining
microsoft,
craft
sharepoint
and
microsoft.

Teams
calls
to
a
one,
unified,
microsoft,
365
in
the
engineering
call
and
what
we
mean
with
that
one
is
that
in
that
call
we're
trying
to
target
three
always
three
and
engineering
driven
demos
across
either
microsoft,
craft
sharepoint
or
microsoft
teams.
Now
some
of
the
other
calls
might
be
get
merged
on
on
this
one
as
well.

We're
still
having
a
discussion
with
power,
apps
adaptive
cards
and
identity
calls
potentially
getting
merged
on
this
through
state
call,
as
well
so
having
a
more
consistent
way
of
having
this
community
calls
always
at
8
a.m,
on
tuesdays
every
single
time,
every
8
a.m,
pacific
time,
and
that
will
give
you
then
an
insights
when
it's
happening.
So
you
can
book
the
time
or
you
can
choose,
of
course,
always
check
the
recording
afterwards,
which
is
a
completely
valid
option
as
well.

So
key
here
is
really
around
the
consistency
for
providing
things
and
thank
you,
somebody's
clocking
clapping
on
the
room
cool.
So
we
have
not
yet
finalized
this
plan.
We're
still
having
discussions,
for
example,
with
the
identity
call,
adaptive
card
calls
and
powerapps
call.
It
might
be
that
some
of
these
costs
remain
independent
and
then
we'll
just
communicate
that
clearly,
but
at
the
same
time
at
least
a
sharepoint
which
is
the
content
and
app
development
model
for
microsoft
teams
and
the
microsoft
craft,
which
is
the
api
layer
for
both
microsoft
teams
and
sharepoint.

It's
going
to
be
combined
as
a
one
unified
call
which
happens
in
every
single
tuesday,
a
lot
of
course,
but
the
key
here
is
also
that
we
will
provide
you
a
lot
of
content,
a
lot
of
new
demos,
not
a
lot
of
information,
so
making
sure
that
you
are
up
to
date
what's
happening
within
the
microsoft
365,
because
in
the
end
it's
a
one
unified
platform
rather
than
individual
products
and
individual
services.
And
so
that's
that's
basically
the
thinking
in
here
now.

announcements,
also

the
build
before
we
go
to
the
demos
and
real
stars
of
today,
I
just
wanted
to
make
sure
that
everybody
is
up
to
date
on
what
did
we
announced
and
build?
First
of
all,
the
meeting
applications
is
a
big
big,
big,
huge
bet
from
microsoft,
sites
related
on
teams,
extensibility
and
the
shared
stage.
A
Integration
is
available
now
in
preview,
and
this
is
really
around
the
fact
that
you
can
have
an
application
which
takes
the
full
screen
and
then
you're
able
to
collaborate
or
present
or
use
whatever
the
whatever
your
solution
is
actually
doing
between
all
of
the
attendees.
Of
course,
if
you
take
advantage
of
the
fluid
framework,
you
can
at
the
same
time
draw
and
collaborate
really
nicely
in
the
shared
states
integration
option
in
the
microsoft
themes.
This
is
already
available
in
preview.
A
So,
if
you
go
to
the
teams
dev
docs,
which
is
the
platform
documentation
for
microsoft
teams,
you
can
easily
get
additional
information
how
to
set
it
up.
It's
basically
just
an
attribute
for
the
meeting
application
configuration
well
technically
games,
tab
configuration
in
the
manifest
which
will
then
set
up
the
behavior
to
be
available,
but
really
really
cool
options
over
there.

Now.
Some
other
new
things,
maybe
not
necessarily
directly
for
developers
as
such,
but
kind
of
a
cool
thing
as
well,
is
that
you
can
actually
now
start
building
your
own
together
mode
options
so
and
there's
together
about
extensibility
coming
this
summer.
I
think
we
we
already
have
the
building
tools,
but
we
don't
actually
expose
these
custom
layouts
yet
in
the
microsoft
team.

That,
in
this
case,
teams
chat,
attendees
or
multiple
people,
and
you
can
real
time
see
what
other
people
are
doing
on
that
fluid
component.
So
in
this
case
the
fluid
component
is
in
the
team's
chat
and
we
can
see
the
same
fluid
component
in
opposed
to
mobile
client
and
in
a
desktop
client,
and
as
we
are
adding
content
modifying
the
content,
everybody
is
seeing
those
changes
in
real
time.

still
remember
we
had
a
quite
a
long
time
actually
ago,
a
dev
kitchen
related
on
this
feature
in
the
written
with
our
partners.
That
was
before
the
weird
2020
year.
There
was
such
a
cool
amount
of
solutions.
Being
built
throughout
the
three
to
four
days,
as
we
were
piloting
this
together
with
our
partner
ecosystem,
so
really
really
looking
forward
on
what
what
are
the
different
scenarios?
A
People
are
using
this
within
their
solutions,
a
few
more
reminders
from
the
built
adapter
cards
for
microsoft
teams
tabs
available
in
preview-
and
this
is
really
around
the
fact
that
the
ux
layer
in
the
microsoft
teams
application
can
be
built
using
adaptive
cards.
So
you'll
have
a
bot
behind
of
the
scenes,
which
is
then
reacting.

Toolkit
which
is
v2
is
now
available
for
visual
studio
visuals
to
their
code
for
preview,
and
if
you
go
akms
teams
toolkit
that
will
actually
put
you
in
the
marketplace
in
visual
studio
marketplace,
and
you
can
easily
install
that
to
be
then
available
for
your
visual
studio
or
technically
you'll
actually
be
individuals
to
their
code
and
to
the
extensions.
Then
you
find
the
solution
and
get
it
installed,
but
it's
really
really
cool
integrated
development.

Experience
which
zenya
is
going
to
show
today
supports
sharepoint
framework
as
the
ux
layer
or
azure,
as
the
us
player
is,
if
you're
more
familiar
with
the
with
the
back-end
implementation
than
the
web
stack
development,
which
would
be
the
sharepoint
framework
side
of
the
house.
But
it's
really
cool
that
we
have
this
integrated
way
of
doing
things
directly
in
the
tool
and
a
final
preview.

microsoft

teams
developer

which
is
now
available
also

preview
and
more
documentation

this

in
akms
teams,
dev
docs,

idea

you

you
can
easily
manage
your

why
we
came
up
with
these
this
small
simple
that
I'm

show

microsoft
graph
have
been
providing
capabilities
to
add
notifications
to
the
user's
activity,
feed
for
potentially
around
six
to
nine
months
in
in
beta,
but
now
we're
happy
that
it
moved
on
to
the
v1
tonight.
It's
a
fully
supported
workload,
and
we
love
this
feature
because
it
really
creates
a
sticky
app
that
people
can
come
on
and
off
of
it.
So
that's
really
really
cool.

what
will
we
do
today?
What
will
be
kind
of
our
scenario?
First,
we
will
create
a
new
app
leveraging
any
type
of
app
you
want
to
use
within
microsoft
teams,
either
using
the
teams
toolkit
using
sharepoint
framework
using
the
pnp
teams,
generator
called
your
teams,
or
even
if
you
have
your
own
in-house
ways
of
building
teams
apps,
you
can
use
any
of
that
to
build
what
we're
going
to
have
to
do.

application,
meaning
that
it,
you
can
send
to
your
colleagues
thumbs
up
on
the
great
work
that
they've
been
doing
with
you,
so
I'm

right

different

there's
my

right
there

types

capabilities
that
you
can
build
within
your
own
applications
to
really
bring
people
back
to
your
application.
Keep
in
mind
that
these
notifications
are
very
contextualized
to
where
you
want
the
user
to
be
in
team.
So
if
you
want
to
bring
the
user
to
a
specific
channel
tab
because
there's
something
new
for
that
user
in
this
context,
you
can
do
it
if
you
want
to
bring
your
user
to
a
personal
app
where
you
want
to
signify
that
there's
something
new
for
them.
You
can
also
do
that.

ago,
a

sample,
so
all

the
code
I'm
showing
today
is
available
online.
We're
going
to
see
all
the

which
is
a

we're
making
on
the
microsoft
graph

help
you

simple
tasks

graph,

really
enrich
your
apps.

First,
let's
start
with
our
manifest
each
team's
app
has
the
manufacturer
presenting
the
description,
the
title,
the
colors,
the
icons,
the
tabs,
the
bots
and
everything,
but
since
we
have
the
activity
information
available
now,
there's
also
an
activities
area
where
each
app
can
predefine
which
type
of
activity
they
support,
and
this
is
really
important
because
you
cannot
just
start
sending
random
notifications
to
anybody
in
microsoft.
Teams
that
user
needs
to
have
an
app
the
app
you're
targeting
needs
to
be
installed
on
their
on
their
own
teams.

Client,
but
also
you
have
to
define
what
are
the
messages,
and
here
here
you
see,
you
can
only
send
a
kudos
to
a
user.
So
it's
a
very
railed
experience
so
that
way,
you're
not
going
to
be
able
to
start
spamming
users.
Just
for
the
sake
of
spamming,
you
really
need
to
control
how
notifications
will
happen,
and
that
is
great,
because
that
really
brings
a
sentiment
of
choice
and
also
these
can
be
turned
on
or
off
as
part
of
the
team
notification
setting.

you
can
decide
that
you
want
to
enable
or
disable
some
of
these
notifications
based
on
how
chatty
they
might
be
with
you.
So
that's
the
first
thing
you
want
to
do
you
want
to
say:
hey,
I
will
be
using
this
activity
and
I
want
teams
to
react
when
a
new
activity
is
sent
when
this
user
has
this
app
installed.
So
that's
the
first
thing.
The
second
thing
is
to
actually
build
the
app
so
couple
of
areas
that
I
want
to
focus
on
here.

customers,

lot

partners

interestingly
enough,
this

inspired

app

internally

app
is,
we
have
named
it
as
a
document
manager.

it's
a
repository
or
asset
management
system,
the
business
problem
or
the
the
business
case
that
we
are
working
with
is
basically
we
have
multiple
teams
working
together,
collaborating
together
and
each
of
us
create
decks.
We
create
different
files,
assets
that
are
useful
across
everyone,
but
we
create
in
silos
and
and
we
have
our
own
locations
where
we
used
to
store
it
and
we
collab.
We
collaborated
and
brought
it
all
together
into
a
sharepoint
library.

need
for
an
effective
way
for
us
to
search
those
assets
from
within
teams
itself
or
within
a
place
where
we
are
working
and
having
conversations.

there
needs
to

linked

use
of
a
staging
folder
in
the
sharepoint
library,
where

space

for
the
documents
which
are
current,
which
are
under
review
and
then
once
approved
it.
It
goes
through
the
final
destination
in
the
library
which,

which
it
can
be
queried
instead
across.

implemented
the

concept

we've

version
we
released

year

added
essentially
a
big
simplification
to
your
authentication
setup.
We've
done
that
by
kind
of
collecting,

the

cycle,
stages
of
an
application
into
one
set
of
commands
in
the
tool
chain.
So
you
you
now
get
access
to
hosting
for
your
custom
tabs
your
bots
and
your
azure
functions.
We've
integrated
azure
functions
into
the
the
default
template.

helped
with
the
microsoft
graph
integration,
as

data
sources

sql.
We

also
make
it
easy
to
connect
all
of
the
above
with
sharepoint
framework.

of
a
single

the
