any
questions
they
may
have.
Then
anyone

speak
to
the
proposal

comport
and
voice
their
opinions.
Each
side

to
speak
once
your

is
heard
and
the
board's
decision
is
rendered.
A
You

You
may
want
to
or
contact
staff
at
the
office
the
following
day,
once
public
testimony
and
discussion
for
a
particular
item
has
concluded,
the
members

Within
30
days
of
this
meeting
we
have
five
members
present
and
it
takes
five
members
or
five
votes
to
pass
motion
because
of
the
number
of
member
board
board
members
present.
A
If
you'd
like
to
delay
your
request,
please
let
us
know
at
the
time
your
request
is
announced
I'd
like
to
take
the
opportunity
to
introduce
the
members
of
the
Architectural
Review
Board.
Let's
see
not
here
is
Cedric
Campbell
Elizabeth
brown,
Jeremy
Kelly
and
that's
that's
it
right
and
then
the
five
members
present
is
Kalia
bell.
Barrett
penny
myself,
Cady
Williams,
John,
Foshee
and
they've
been
paying
David
paints,
not
here
John
hatin.
B
A
News
staff
is
Kristi,
Andersen,
Ethan,
Fowler,
Holloway
and
Jobe
Jovan
Hines,
a
quorum
of
the
Architectural
Review
Board
is
five
members
over
that's
for
reference.
Only
so,
let's
see
do
we
need
to
go
through
the
minutes
first
or
the
last
time
you
can
or
you
can
do
it
last
it's
up
to
you,
okay!
Well,
let's
just
get
on
into
it
item
number
one:
Debra
stern,
470,
South,
Union
straight.
C
We've
done
a
lot
of
work
on
the
building
over
the
years,
but
approximately
10
years
ago
they
had
a
relative
of
the
president
redo
the
roofing
on
the
building,
and
it
was
a
disaster.
The
front
part
over
the
flat
porch
of
the
roof
was
done
improperly
and
the
wood
pieces
are
not
flush
and
there's
tons
of
nails
and
there's
lots
of
leaking
that's
going
on
under
the
roof
on
the
front
porch
on
the
back
part
of
the
building.
C
C
The
immediate
need
that
we
have.
There
is
a
dormer
window
on
the
front
of
the
building
that
the
wood
has
completely
rotted
away,
and
the
flashing
was
also
done
incorrectly
with
the
last
roofing
debacle,
and
so
there
is
large
holes
and
openings
around
the
dormer
window
where
the
rotten
wood
is
and
water
is
flowing
into
the
attic
and
then
down
into
the
building.
C
We
actually
have
tarps
covering
the
original
hardwood
floors
right
now,
because
we
can't
even
with
the
tarp
over
the
top
of
it,
it
is
not
stopping
the
water
from
running
in
with
all
the
rain
we've
had
it's
been
a
big
mess,
so
we
are
asking
what
we
would
like
to
do.
We've
had
insurance
has
denied
any
claims
on
it.
I've
had
four
roofers
come
out
and
look
and
they've
all
said
the
same
thing
about
the
roof.
C
They
have
recommended
that
we
have
the
dormer
window
removed
and
just
put
venting
on
the
top,
so
that
there
will
be
ways
for
the
air
to
be
released
and
then
on
the
back
of
the
building.
All
of
the
chimneys.
The
mortar
is
crumbling
and
they're
falling
apart,
and
so
it's
going
to
be
difficult,
if
not
impossible,
to
put
any
kind
of
flashing
to
replace
what
was
done
poorly
into
the
chimneys.
So
the
one
in
the
back
is
in
the
worst
condition.
C
We
would
like
to
remove
it
altogether,
since
it's
not
really
visible
from
the
front
road
and
it's
not
part
of
the
original
structure
and
then
I
know.
This
is
not
on
our
proposal,
but
I'd
like
to
just
ask
about
the
other
chimneys
as
well.
What
our
options
are
with
those
because
that's
when
we
redo
the
roof,
that's
also
part
of
the
roof
issue
that
we
have
I,
don't
know.
If
we're
I
know,
we
understand
the
historical
significance
of
this
building.
This
is
actually
only
Victor
Tulane
building
in
good
condition.
C
That's
left
the
other
one
is
boarded
up
and
not
looking
too
good.
So
we
don't
want
to
take
away
from
any
of
that,
but
we
do
have
some
pretty
significant
issues.
So
I
don't
know
what
our
options
are
with
the
other
chimneys
as
well.
If
we
can
maybe
take
them
off
and
cover
them
up,
is
NaN
using
and
then
rebuild
the
chimneys
just
for
the
visual
part
of
it.
D
A
C
C
D
B
C
His
Lacey
yeah,
so
we're
not
gonna
do
this
is
not
gonna,
be
a
shoddy
job.
I'm
gonna
make
sure
that
it's
done
correctly
this
time.
So
we're
not
in
this
position.
Ten
years
from
now,
I've
done
a
ton
of
research
and
talked
with
several
contractors
to
make
sure
we're
not
shafting
the
building.
This
time,
I.
C
We
had
suggest,
for
example,
we
had
on
the
side
of
the
building
the
north
side
of
the
building.
It
was
sinking,
we
had
the
foundation
redone
just
this
last
April
and
they
built
it
and
they
took
the
brake
off
and
we
put
matching
brick
on
it
and
other
than
the
you
know
cement
around
it.
You
can't
tell
the
difference.
We
would
use
the
same
brick
so
other
than
I.
Guess,
however,
they
and
I'm
or
whatever
they
do
to
build
it.
C
E
Would
mention
that
if
you
use
the
old
brick
that
they're
going
to
have
to
use
a
special
mortar
to
do
that?
Okay,
because
the
mortars
that
are
available
that
you
can
use
on
newer
brick
has
a
hydraulic
set
to
it,
and
it's
going
to
set
much
harder
than
that.
Brick,
which
means
water
will
be
forced
it
won't
channel
through
the
mortar
like
it
does
now,
it'll
be
forced
into
the
brick
and
then
your
bricks
gonna
get
soft
and
fall
apart.
So
you.
E
C
D
Yeah,
if
you
could
give
us
some
options
along
the
lines
of
what
you're
talking
about,
especially
you
know
who's
going
to
do
it.
What
brick
are
they're
gonna
use
understand
some
brick.
May
not.
You
can't
recycle
a
certain
brick
when
you
take
something
I've
had
a
chimney
removed
from
my
house.
Some
some
of
the
brick
looked
almost
like
new
summer
and
pieces,
so
right.
C
B
D
B
F
D
C
C
E
C
D
C
E
Think
there
there
have
been
when,
particularly
when
they
haven't
been
visible
there.
There
have
been
instances
where
we've
seen
him
on
a
slope
of
a
roof
where
there
are
their
symmetrically
placed,
and
obviously
they
were
done.
You
know
for
a
more
aesthetic
reason,
but
ones
that
have
been
inconspicuous.
B
B
C
There's
a
ton
of
damage
and
it's
I
mean
there's
a
whole
I
wish
he
had
sent
me.
The
pictures,
there's
a
large
hole
and
it's
just
gonna
continue
to
be
an
issue
for
a
long
term.
That
was
his
recommendation
and
it
is
just
for
I
mean
there
is
a
visual,
but
it's
it's
preventing
it's
not
a
window.
It's
just
a
vent
for
the.
B
C
C
A
C
I
were
open
to
whatever
we.
Obviously
we
would
like
to
for
long-term
maintenance,
but
I
mean,
if
that's
sure,
if
that's
the
decision
well
we'll
rebuild,
and
we
have
to
that.
That
is
where
the
main
issue
is
right.
Now
it's
completely
open
and
even
with
the
tarp
water
is
pouring
in
onto
the
original
hardwood
floor,
so
we
have
buckets
everywhere
so
I
mean,
if
that's
the
decision,
then
we
will
certainly
rebuild
it
and
you
know
do
what
we
have
to
do.
You.
F
G
It's
a
bit
of
a
disaster.
We've
found
a
bunch
of
rot
on
our
front
porch
and
we
had
the
whole
front,
porch
removed
and
there's
pictures
up
there
somewhere,
but
the
left.
What
we
are
requesting
is
the
left
portion
left
of
the
columns
is
not
original
to
the
house.
We
discovered
once
we
pulled
that
up.
There
should
be
and
I
printed
off
some
more
pictures
that
I
have
from
winning.
G
G
The
contractor
assumes-
maybe
it
was
built
in
the
last
30
years,
but
it's
not
covered
and
it's
just
the
water
sitting
and
it's
going
under
that
major
beam
under
the
window.
You
can
see
better
in
those
pictures
that
I
submitted,
but
it
was
just
pretty
much
completely
rotted,
so
we
would
like
to
not
rebuild
that
portion
of
the
porch.
You
I,
don't
know
the
terms,
but
on
this
record
under
the
column,
the
brick
wall
is
still
kind
of
there,
but
it's
fallen
some.
G
G
And
then,
since
I
submitted
the
application,
so
since
the
whole
porch
has
ripped
up
we're,
you
know
obviously
replacing
the
rot
and
putting
down
new
planks,
but
it
was
brought
to
our
attention
that
there
are
these
kinds
of
planks:
I
guess
the
plastic
long
term
I,
don't
know
the
terms
I
apologize,
but
I
found
some
information
on
this
as
well
that
it
has
been
approved
by
historic
societies
and
been
used.
I
mean
I
saw
in
New
Orleans
in
the
French
Quarter
in
other
places,
but
we
were
wondering
if
this
would
be
an
option
for
longevity.

B
D
B
F
A
H
Good
evening,
I'm
James
Fisher
wanted
to
talk
with
you
all
about
removing
this.
It's
troublesome
pecan
tree.
You
can
see
it's
kind
of
filled
up
that
space
between
the
houses.
Our
house
is
on
the
right
and
it
so
far
has
cost
us
$900,
and
we
had
a
big
limb
removed.
A
couple
of
days
for
hurricane
Michael
hit
the
Panhandle
and
then
just
for
you
know,
just
an
unforeseen
thing
happened:
I
it
dropped
another
big
limb
on
its
own
right
down.
H
The
back
of
my
car
cost
me
$500
of
deductible
with
the
total
damage
was
like
$5,500,
and
so
it's
it's
kind
of
outlived
its
usefulness
as
far
as
we're
concerned
and
our
neighbor
is
threatened
by
a
huge
limb.
That's
towering
above
is
his
house
and
they've
agreed
to
share
the
expense
of
having
it
removed
and
I
noticed
that
recommendation
for
replacement
was
a
more
of
a
canopy
type
tree
as
opposed
to
a
dogwood
and
we're
perfectly
happy
with
that.
H
We
had
had
a
we've
been
before
y'all
last
year
and
had
popcorn
tree
and
another
pecan
tree
removed
since
then,
and
the
we
have
a
good
police
for
probably
a
water
oak,
if
that
would
be
a
good
replacement
where
the
popcorn
tree
had
been
so
that
would
be
a
good
long
time
shade
tree
and
all
that
so
that's
kind
of
where
we
are
with
that.
That
is
in
line
with
what
y'all
would
like
to
see.
A
B
H
When
we
bought
the
house,
there
was
a
an
old
tattered
piece
of
canvas
hanging
there,
where
there
that's
down
the
street,
that's
at
128
South
Capitol.
But
what
was
there
yeah
there?
You
go.
That's
a
replacement
piece
of
cloth
there.
It's
my
dog
is
gonna
a
little
fun
with
the
bottom
of
it,
but
that
that
piece
of
cloth
actually
looks
better
than
what
was
there
when
we
bought
the
house-
and
so
I'd
like
to
put
you
know,
put
some
appropriate
real
doors
on
the
thing
and
it's
not
a
I'm,
not
reinventing
the
wheel.
E
Will
just
say
that
we
looked
at
buying
this
house
years
ago
and
the
garage
was
horrible,
so
I'm
personally
pleased
to
see
that
he
got
it.
I
know
he
jacked
it
up
and
reframed
it
and
once
put
some
doors
on
it
because
it
was,
it
was
pretty
bad
now
I
would
have
done
the
same
thing,
but
most
people
think
I'm
kind
of
crazy,
so
I'm
glad.
