the
falcon

crypto

There
is
such
a
thing
called
crypto
church
and
we're
taking
the
opportunity
to
meet
key
players,
regulators
and
government
members,
which
is
very
eye-opening
and
extremely
interesting
and
beneficial
for
the
ecosystem.

Now
before
we
start
today's
town
hall,
a
couple
of
updates.
I
of
course
cannot
start
with
that
talking
about
the
market
and
how
brutal
the
last
couple
of
weeks
have
been,
and
I
hope
that
each
and
every
one
of
you
is
doing
okay
now.
This
downturn
is
obviously
not
the
first
one
in
crypto
land,
and
it's
probably
not
the
last
one.
There
is
no
doubt
the
conditions
will
probably
continue
to
be
challenging
and
that
in
particular,
regulatory
scrutiny
will
also
intensify,
but
our
north
star
and
our
direction
are
not
changing.

Nir
was
actually
built
in
2018
during
the
downturn
and
since
then,
we've
raised
significant
capital
close
to
half
a
billion.
We
have
a
fantastic
tech
and
we
have
a
very
strong
community
of
entrepreneurs,
builders
developers
and
operators
to
help
weather
the
storm.
In
short,
we
have
the
capability
and
we
have
the
resources.

So
there
is
no
better
time
to
build
we're
in
a
very
unique
position
to
continue
to
strengthen
our
position
and
actually
to
continue
building
at
pace
for
the
long
term,
and
we
count
on
each
and
every
one
of
us
and
together
to
see
through
those
times.
We
see
that
as
an
opportunity
to
raise
the
bar
and
to
continue
building
at
base.

think
it's
always

the
intention
that
we
have
for
the
ecosystem,
what
we're
doing

see
that
we

quite
a
lot
of
news
happening
in
our
ecosystem,
which
is
extremely
exciting,
we'll
actually
go
then
also
into
what
the
foundation
is
here
to
do
and
remind
ourselves
what
we
do
as
an
ecosystem.

over
to
events.
We
have
a
lot
of
events
that
we've
been
participating
in,
but
also
events
that
actually
we
are
going
to
be
at
in
the
future.

terms
of
technology
and
the
near
platform,
the
things
that
we
we
are
very
proud
to
have
as
a
near
protocol
is
the
simplicity,
the
scalability,
the
security
and
also
the
sustainability
that
our
technology
enables
us
in
terms
of
simplicity,
the
simplicity
not
only
for
end
users,
but
also
for
developers
in
terms
of
scalability,
dynamic
sharding,
enables
us
to
truly
continuously
scale.
Infinitely
and
security
is
enabled
by,
in
particular,
the
fact
that
we
have
a
decentralized
validator
set
that
is
continuously
ever
growing.

terms
of
roadmap,
this
is
a
slide
that
you
may
have
seen
already.
This
is
the
roadmap
for
the
near
protocol.
We
are
still
in
phase
zero,
which
is
simple,
night
shade,
and
although
we
have
sharding
fully
in
state-
and
we
have
four
shards
that
are
fully
functioning,
we
are
continuously
enabling
the
gross
in
particular
of
validators
right
now.
We
are
currently
at
about
a
hundred
and
getting
ready
for
phase
one
which
will
be
chunk
only.

Now,
in
terms
of
ecosystem,
this
is
the
most
simplified
map
that
you
can
think
of
from
an
ecosystem
that
is
ever
growing
at
the
core
of
our
ecosystem.
The
near
protocol,
which
I
just
talked
about
very
very
briefly,
but
the
near
protocol,
and
actually
the
simplicity,
security,
scalability
and
sustainability
that
the
technology
enables
us
to
build
on
around
that
neo
protocol
continuously
being
built
different
parts
of
our
infrastructure,
whether
it's
aurora
octopus,
pagoda,
calimero
or
makina
in
terms
of
projects.

What
you
can
see
on
the
right
hand,
side
is
how
we're
continuously
building
the
different
pillars
that
enable
more
and
more
decentralization
in
particular
of
funds
and
an
access
to
build
more
technology
in
the
near
ecosystem.
The
near
foundation
is
at
the
bottom
of
the
stack,
but
you
also
have,
for
example,
proximity
lab,
which
is
our
lab.

So
the
new
foundation
is
only
one
of
the
pebble
within
that,
but
the
world
that
we
play
within
the
ecosystem
is
mainly
three
things
to
help
and
to
be
part
of
that
ecosystem.
One
is
actually
helping
raise
the
awareness
of
near,
and
we
do
that
by
our
education
program.
We
do
that
also
via
strategic
partnership
and
with
no
intention
of
this
partnership,
representing
everything.
That's
been
happening
in
our
ecosystem,
but
this
partnership
has
the
intention
to
help
raise
mainstream
awareness
of
what
blockchain
technology
can
do.

That's
where,
for
example,
partnerships
such
as
cell,
gp
or
sweatcoin
are
very
important
because
we
hear
over
and
over
in
particular
in
mainstream
media,
that
use
cases
and
true
use
cases
of
what
the
technology
can
do
are
fundamental.
So
that's
what
we
see
as
being
part
of
how
can
we,
as
near
foundation,
help
raise
awareness
of
what
neer
and
the
technology
can
do
and
therefore
help
attract
more
talent?

The
second
pillar
of
what
we
do
as
a
foundation
is
supporting
projects
that
are
building
on
near
and
supporting
projects
come
into
several
forms.
The
first
one
is
actually
making
sure
that
as
projects
come,
they
have
the
right
infrastructure
to
build
on
and
that
infrastructure
come
in,
making
sure
that,
for
example,
there
is
the
right
relationship
with
exchanges
that
there
is
the
right
custodians
that
there
is
actually
the
right
infrastructure
to
make
sure
that
near
is
not
in
isolation,
but
can
enable
the
participation
within
the
broader
crypto
and
webster
ecosystem.

Support
also
means
helping
projects
find
the
resources
that
they
need,
be
it
financial
activity,
advisor
advisory
and
so
on.
The
side
of
grants.
For
example,
as
a
foundation,
we
do
have
projects
with
grants,
whether
it
be
small,
fast
grants
or
slightly
larger
grants,
but
more
and
more
and
increasingly
as
a
foundation.
We
are
helping
create
ecosystem
funds
and
we're
helping
actually
decentralize
by
the
quest
the
creation
of
regional
hubs
that
help
us
actually
decentralize
more
and
more
of
what's
being
happening,
and
how
can
actually
players
within
the
ecosystem
find
the
support
that
they
need?

I
think
we
are
very
close
to
bridge
actually
over
600
projects
same
in
terms
of
dows
we're
seeing
a
growth
in
the
number
of
doubts,
but
more
specularly
and
importantly,
the
number
of
accounts
has
been
growing
extremely
fast,
and
that
is
in
particular
thanks
to
our
partnership
with
sweatcoin
and
we'll
show
more
stats
on
that.
To
put
in
perspective
the
growth
of
what
we've
been
seeing
on
that.

Topic
talking
about
growth
in
terms
of
number
of
wallets,
that's
what
you
can
see
on
this
chart
over
six
million
wallets
have
been
created
after
the
announcement
of
the
sweatcoin
partnership
last
month.
This
is
extremely
exciting.
It's
only
phase
one
of
that
partnership
and
the
second
phase
of
the
partnership
will
be
actually
to
see
how
the
tge
of
sweat
coin
is
happening
and
how
those
wallets
are
now
engaging
more
broadly
within
the
near
ecosystem.

Now,
in
terms
of
highlights
for
the
ecosystem,
lots
of
things
have
been
have
been
happening
this
month
so,
as
mentioned
earlier,
lots
of
different
lots
of
accounts
that
have
been
created
and,
in
particular
intense
in
particular
in
large
part,
thanks
to
sweatpoint,
to
put
things
in
perspective,
bitcoin
has
68
million
active,
wallets,
ethereum,
71
million
active,
wallets
and
solana,
2
million
avalanche
1
million.
So
we
see
this
as
an
important
platform
to
enable
what
is
needed
to
have
active
engaged
users.

So
this
this
shows
the
phenomenal
growth
of
the
ecosystem
in
the
last
few
months,
and
so
there
is
more
to
come,
but
no
better
time
to
build
than
the
time
we're
in
right
now
in
terms
of
ecosystem.
We've
also
officially
launched
kenya
regional
hub
earlier
this
month
and
you'll
hear
a
little
bit
more
about
this
later
in
the
presentation.
But,
needless
and
needless
to
say,
it's
actually
great
to
see
that
there
is
such
a
successful
launch
in
kenya
and
more
and
more
traction
in
the
region.

Aurora
has
launched
a
90
million
fund
to
boost
defy
aurora.
Aurora
has
had
a
ton
of
announcement
recently
and,
in
addition
to
the
fund,
they
have
also
recently
launched
aura
plus
a
platform
which
is
basically
a
new
membership
program
for
users
of
our
that
provides
a
suit
of
benefits,
highly
encourage
everybody
to
check
our
plus
super
great
program.

So
more
into
that,
you
know
you
can
do
something
to
earn
something
and
you'll
hear
more
from
tracer
founder
later
in
this
school,
but
super
exciting
to
see
that
now
more
news
in
our
ecosystem.
Copper
now
enables
near
and
that's
huge,
because
copper
is
a
crypto
platform
for
institutional
asset
managers.
It
has
over
500
clients,
including
traders,
wealth
companies,
private
banks,
crypto
funds,
family
offices
and
over
50
billion
flows
through
copper's
infrastructure
every
month.

adding
near
to
the
portfolio
is
an
enormous
vote
of
confidence
from
the
institutional
investor
community
that
near's
fundamentals
are
changing
and
that
our
mission
enabled
the
open

is
stronger

fantastic,

do
need

So
delighted

integrated
with
the
aurora
network
and

is
a
smart
way
to
distribute

nft

a
claimable

super
cool
pocket
network
has
been
integrated
with
near
protocol
to
improve
bandwidth,
and
so
the
integration
with
will
allow
native
developers
to
deploy
their
application
on
other
supported
blockchain,
including
ethereum
solana,
fuse
avalanche
harmony
and
polygon
and,
in
addition,
by
having
integration
with
multiple
blockchain
near
developers,
can
overcome
concerns
regarding,
for
example,
single
point
of
failure
due
to
bottleneck
or
other
service
disruption.
This
fits
very
much
into
our
multi-chain
narrative
and
beyond
building
bridges.
It's
also
actually
enabling
developers
to
go
from
one
chain
to
the
other.

Transact
announced
an
official
strategic
partnership
with
near
protocol
and
tranzact
is
a
single
integration
for
webster
application
to
accept
chat
to
crypto
deposit
from
a
global
user
base
super
slick
also,
I
actually
highly
encourage
everybody
to
check
it
and,
last
but
not
least,
we've
partnered,
with
stack
sports.

million
users
now
have
access
to
near
protocol.
Super
simple,
secure,
scalable
and
sustainable
blockchain
thanks
to
a
recent
partnership
to
help
launch
an
athlete-focused
nfc
platform.

grants

well

our
external
funding,
which
I
think
given
sort
of
the
changes
in
the
market.
I
think
will
be
interesting
for
folks
to
hear
and
know
that
we
are
still
very
much
active,
supporting
high
quality
projects
as
they
enter
the
near
ecosystem
and
continue
to
build.

first
is
really
supporting
that
creator
triangle
so
again,
working
with
projects
in
communities
that
need
funding
to
really
sort
of
elevate
and
sort
of
propel
their
projects
in
the
near
ecosystem
and
support
them
as
they
grow
again,
is
providing
access
so
as
our
documentation
as
our
various
asynchronous
channels
and
various
other
projects
in
the
ecosystem
begin
to
flourish,
making
sure
there's
easy
connectivity
there.
That
also
ties
quite
closely
to
community
support,
and
so
as
projects
and
individuals
have
new
ideas
for
opportunities
or
exploring
new
projects.

Thus
far
and
we've
almost
hit-
you
know
the
half
year
mark,
so
we've
committed
500
plus
grants,
so
that
means
we've
identified
projects
and
teams
and
individuals
where
we
think
a
grant
will
be
valuable
to
them
in
terms
of
their
development.
Those
can
be
net
new
projects
and
projects
that
are
already
existing
within
the
ecosystem.
As
part
of
that
500
projects
that
we've
supported
we've
deployed
14
million
dollars
of
grant
funding,
so
that
means
actual
tokens
or

looking
to
actually
attract
the
quality
or
the
qualitative
audience.

we've
had
you

events
where
we

to
three
hundred
people
fill
in
the

it's
really
less
about,
and
we
hear
that

the

stress
this

creating
