you,
madam
president,
I
would
move
that
the
senate
bill

committee

A
F
Thank
you,
madam
president,
today
is
actually
a
very,
very
sad
day
for
me,
a
great,
very
influential
american,
passed
away
today.
F
The
talk
radio
host
rush
limbaugh,
who
received
the
presidential
medal
of
freedom,
who
had
an
estimated
50
million
people
in
his
radio
audience,
who
was
not
only
a
great
entertainer
but
a
highly
influential
political
commentator
for
over
30
years,
had
a
great
personal
influence
in
my
own
life
I
got
to
because
of
frankly
his
influence.
I
got
to
be
a
radio
talk,
show
host
myself
koh
radio
for
six
years.
F
He
was
for
a
lot
of
people,
whether
you
loved
him
or
hated
him.
No
one
would
argue
that
he
was
very,
very
influential
in
the
united
states
for
over
three
decades,
so
I
was
very
sorry
at
the
age
of
70.
he'd
been
having
a
valiant
fight
against
the
terrible
cancer,
and
today
he
passed
away,
but
I
just
wanted
to
get
on
the
record
that
what,
in
my
opinion,
he
was
one
of
the
great
americans
and
most
influential
people
of
both
the
20th
and
now
21st
centuries.
F
He
was
greatly
loved
by
a
lot
of
people,
including
myself,
and
it's
a
very,
very
sad
day
for
me
and
a
big
change,
perhaps
in
our
nation
as
well,
but
I
just
wanted
to
get
on
the
record
today
how
fortunate
so
many
of
us
were
to
to
be
able
to
listen
to
him
and
argue
debate
whether
or
not
you
agreed
with
him.
There's
no
question
that
he
had
tremendous
influence
on
the
outcome
of
the
united
states
of
america
since
his
debut
back
in
the
1980s.
F
G
Thank
you.
Madam
president,
a
couple
days
ago,
on
the
floor,
we
heard
from
our
colleague
from
senate
district
13
that
yesterday
was
actually
mental
health
day
at
the
legislature,
and
I
also
wanted
to
share
a
little
information
in
that
vein.
About
hope
means
nevada,
which
is
a
statewide
youth
mental
health
initiative,
whose
mission
is
to
raise
awareness
about
the
importance
of
youth,
mental
health
and
remove
the
stigma
of
talking
about
it
and
achieve
zero
teen
suicides.
G
Hope
means
nevada
is
a
public
awareness
campaign
powered
by
the
nonprofit
nevada
medical
center,
as
well
as
the
r
r
foundation
and
100
community
and
state
partners,
including
the
state's
office
of
suicide
prevention.
Additionally,
hopefully
hope
means
nevada.
Has
an
active
statewide.
Teen
suicide
has
an
active
statewide,
teen
committee
working
to
reduce
the
growing
number
of
teens
committing
suicide
through
peer-to-peer
discussions,
social
media
outreach
and
an
annual
mental
wellness
festival.
G
We
will
hear
from
members
of
this
team
committee
later
in
this
session.
We
will
also
consider
numerous
bills
related
to
mental
health
over
the
course
of
over
the
next
hundred
or
so
days,
including
many
in
this
chamber,
and
I
look
forward
to
working
with
all
of
you
to
trying
to
reduce
teen
suicide
in
our
state.
Thank
you,
madam
president,.
E
Thank
you.
Madam
president.
I've
been
struggling
with
this
concept
of
representing
families
in
the
state
of
nevada,
and
I
hear
from
parents
over
and
over
and
more
and
more
as
we
plan
for
the
vaccination
rollout.
I
think
it's
very
appropriate
that
we
plan
for
the
opening
of
the
schools
in
the
whole
state
and
appreciate
those
that
have,
and
I
I'm
just
I
don't
want
to
miss
out
on
march
april
and
may
in
this
school
year.
E
C
Thank
you,
madam
president,
I
move
that
the
senate
stand
in
adjournment
until
the
hour
of
11
a.m.
On
thursday
february
18
2021.
