B
Us
through
those
tables,
thank
you,
madam
chair
again,
for
the
record
dress
again
in
with
the
fiscal
analysis,
division,
legislator,
Council
Bureau-
and
it
was
not
my
intent
here
this
afternoon-
to
go
through
all
the
charts
and
tables
that
are
on
the
links
section
of
the
economic
forums
page
in
Nellis,
the
Nevada
system
for
the
the
meetings
and
so
they're
all
in
PDF
form
there
for
the
members
or
anybody
else
to
look
at.
B
B
That's
what
forecasters
will
be
looking
at
this
wages,
this
employment,
this
personal
income,
but
then
we're
going
to
be
forecasting
some
of
the
things
that
you're
seeing
these
charts
and
tables
with
those
metrics
so
trying
them
tie
it
together,
because
when
you
go
look
at
some
of
the
taxable
sales,
especially
there's
a
set
of
charts
there.
That
shows
you
by
fiscal
year.
B
You
would
have
to
tell
somebody
that
there
was
a
pandemic
going
on
in
several
of
those
counties.
Why
show
their
bar
for
FY
2020-21?
There
was
no
dip,
it
kept
on
going
up
and
first
many
of
the
other
rules
now
I.
Think,
as
we
mentioned
part
of
that
you
contribute
hey.
Things
were
a
little
hard
to
understand,
but
we
also
passed
the
bill.
The
right
allow
the
sales
tax
to
be
collected
on
an
online
purchases.
So
what
do
we
think
went
down
on
the
pandemic?
There
was
a
lot
more
people
purchasing
online
and
I.
B
Think
you,
when
you
go
look
at
some
of
the
rural
counties,
hey
timing's!
Everything
and
timing.
Was
there
that
we
go
to
make
a
tax
change
to
be
able
to
allow
the
online
purchases
to
be
taxed.
Then
you
have
a
negative
economic
event,
but
it's
possibly
offset
a
little
bit
by
what
were
people
doing
economically
having
things
delivered
to
the
doorstep?
Oh,
you
now
get
the
sales
tax
on
that.
So
it's
when
I
look
at
this
as
an
economist,
but
also
a
tax
policy
person
for
the
Nevada
legislature.
B
It's
like
wow
what
what
strange
timing
that
you
passed
this
bill,
they're
going
to,
they
would
have
lost
probably
more
Revenue
than
they
would
have
lost,
but
for
that
bill
change
through
that
pandemic
event,
and
it's
not
just
rules,
it's
Clark,
it's
it's
all
of
them,
so
we
can't
go
back
and
we
don't
have
SIM
Nevada
to
go
get
wow.
What
was
the
impact
of
that,
but
it
is
interesting
and
I
would
also
to
this
theme.
We've
talked
is
to
go
look
at
some
of
those
charts.
B
If
you
want
to
go,
look
at
the
information
set
that
the
form
and
forecasters
had
go
back
and
look
at
them
in
that
February,
March
21!
That's
what
we
would
have
known
for
gaming
win
taxable
sales,
some
of
these
and
so
right.
They
really
weren't
popping
up
on
us
so
and
then
you're
trying
to
read
the
tea,
leaves
and
then
go
see
what
happened
you're
just
like
wow
and
the,
but
then
I
would
go
look
as
has
been
talked
here
a
little
bit
about
today.
B
When
you
go
look,
it's
the
even
monthly,
quarterly,
there's
a
lot
of
variants.
So
you
can
see
a
lot
of
the
charts
have
the
12-month
moving
average
if
they're
monthly
data,
the
fourth
quarter
moving
average
if
they're
quarterly,
because
it's
going
to
smooth
out
so,
let's
see
and
when
I
look
at
several
of
those
for
the
gaming
and
the
taxable
sales
we're
getting
year
over
year
with
some
of
the
stuff
and
to
me,
is
there
an
inflection
point
there
in
that
moving
average
data?
B
And
so
that's
the
question
is:
are
we
going
to
flatten
out
a
little
bit
here?
Well
now
that
we're
year
over
year,
I'm
not
saying
there
won't
be
growth,
it's
just
that
the
phenomena
that
we've
been
seeing
is
it
annualizing.
B
When
you
look
at
some
of
those
charts
and
then
we
have
the
data
there
for
the
Commerce
tax
which
we
have
to
forecast,
and
we
show
you
that
by
the
different
business
categories
and
and
I
think
to
get
to
Mr
Levitt's
question
about
well
for
us,
it's
not
only
just
looking
at
the
taxes
and
what
was
going
on
for
them
and
and
if
we
can
see
anything,
that's
not
uniform
or
uniform.
But
it's
when
we
have
the
ability
to
go
in
and
look
at
the
pieces
be
standing
behind
the
text.
B
Like
the
Commerce
text.
We
have
the
26
categories.
So
when
we
saw
what
was
going
on
with
taxable
sales,
we
started
realizing.
Okay,
the
Commerce
tax
for
FY
22
is
probably
going
to
come
in
well
over
forecast.
Why?
Because
taxable
sales
are
running
well
above
the
forecast
and
taxable
sales
is
retail.
Retail
is
a
part
of
the
Commerce
tax
Wholesales.
So
it's
beyond
retail
is
part
of
the
Commerce
tax
done
transportation
and
warehousing
right.
So
you
just
start
thinking
what
was
going
on
and
realizing.
B
We
have
the
Commerce
tax
attaching
to
that
Revenue,
and
but
we
have
the
ability
to
go,
look
at
those
pieces
and
try
and
see
what
was
going
on
and
I
think
maybe
to
get
the
Mr
levo's
question
is
well,
can
you
make
sense
of
it?
I
mean
what
is?
Is
there
signal
in
there
that
you
can
try
and
then
use
for
forecasting,
or
is
it
more
noise
in
terms
of
trying
to
put
stuff
on
it?
So
Madam
chair?
B
That
was
really
more
comments
than
I
wanted
to
make,
rather
than
bring
up
all
the
charts
and
tables
and
go
through
them.
But
again,
if
your
schedules
do
permit
to
sort
of
look
at
them,
because
we
will
be
updating
them
with
the
data
and
bring
to
the
November
meeting,
and
maybe
it
might
be,
if
necessary,
based
on
where
the
conversations
and
questions
go,
that
the
charts
will
be
there
to
be
able
to
make
use
of
for
referencing
or
maybe
address
some
of
the
members
questions
so
I'll
just
sort
of
say.
B
Maybe
it
might
be
better
to
not
present
them
all
here,
but
have
them
update
and
be
available
for
the
November
meeting,
and
so
with
that,
if
there's
any
comments
or
questions,
that's
all
that
I
wanted
to
say
on
this
agenda
item.
A
B
Yes,
thank
you,
madam
chair
again
for
the
record
Russell
again
with
the
fiscal
Division
and
just
this
agenda
item
is,
as
you
know,
the
June
2022
meeting,
the
the
staff
asked
and
and
the
body
provided
direction
as
to
what
the
major
revenues
would
be
and
what
that
would
be
individual
forecast
for
the
forecasters
would
be
brought
forward
and
presented
to
this
body
for
the
economic
Forum
to
actually
deliberate
on
and
come
to
a
forecast
versus
what
we
call
the
minor
revenues
that
you're
directing
the
the
technical
advisory
committee
to
handle,
and
so
this
is
the
opportunity
on
this
agenda
for
the
Forum
to
make
any
changes
to
the
direction
that
was
for
provided
to
the
TAC
and
thus
the
staff,
which
is
the
same
people
and,
if
not,
then
we're
good
Madam
chair.
B
Thank
you,
madam
chair.
Thank
you.
I
would
just
add
here
that
we
will
based
in
your
direction
earlier
and
to
get
it
on
the
record
here
for
the
stand
item.
We
will
work
on
probably
putting
together
the
table
for
the
MBT,
because
I
do
think
that'll
just
make
for
easier
for
the
members
to
try
and
follow
something
that
goes
like
this
versus
possibly
versus
something
that
looks
like
a
step
function.
B
So
that's
so.
The
next
agenda
to
Madam
chair
is
the
end
item
17
the
scheduling
of
the
future
economic
meetings.
Again
here
this
is
a
gen.
B
There
was
Direction
well
discussion
in
some
direction
provided
at
the
June
meeting
and
then
a
staff
working
with
chair
Rosenthal
and
the
polling
that
went
out
to
the
members
that
the
next
meeting
of
the
economic
forum
is
scheduled
for
Monday,
November
14th
and
then
the
the
December
meeting
will
be
Monday,
December
5th,
because
there's
chair
Rosenthal,
mentioned
at
the
beginning
of
the
meeting
that
the
law
says
it's
honor
before
December
3rd.
B
But
since
the
third
falls
on
this
Saturday,
the
economic
Forum
can
actually
meet
up
to
two
business
days
after
that
weekend,
and
so
looking
at
the
member
schedules
in
chair
Rosenthal.
It's
a
decision
to
have
the
meeting
Monday
and
and
it's
we
will
continue
to
work
with
chair
Rosenthal,
but
Madam,
chair
I,
would
just
will
put
here
that,
based
on
the
directions
of
that
based
on
the
directions,
you're
provided
staff
and
working
with
sitting
at
this
meeting
said.
B
But
it's
I
think
it
was
expressed
to
me
the
chair's
intent
to
have
the
all
five
members
first
being
Carson
City,
because
it
thinks
that
it's
easier
to
have
all
the
five
members
sitting
at
the
Deus
and
most
of
the
presenters
are
where
the
capital
is
not
down
here
in
in
Clark
County,
and
so
that
that
would
be
the
intent.
B
But
we
will
have
the
zoom
platform
and
because
things
can
happen,
and
so
thus
for
all
the
members
staff
will
be
reaching
out
to
you
with
regards
to
getting
you
set
up
in
terms
of
your
travel
plans
and
all
that
is
necessary
to
get
to
the
Carson
City
locations
for
the
November
and
December
meetings
and
then
also
just
the
put
on
there
that
we've
had
all
this
information
presented
here,
and
we
will
be
working
with
chair
that
if
there
needs
to
be
other
additional
presentations
or
information
at
the
November
meeting,
but
the
one
that
we
will
have
is
Moody's
Analytics
on
that
agenda.
B
So
that
will
be
the
opportunity
for
this
body
to
see
what
Moody's
Analytics
is
saying
about
where
they
think
the
U.S
and
Regional
economies
are
going
as
well
as
their
forecast
for
gaming
and
sales
tax
and
so
Madam
chair.
Those
were
the
points
of
information
I
wanted
to
provide
for
this
agenda
item
and
with
that
I
can
answer
any
questions.
A
Thank
you,
Mr
gendon,
quick
request
is:
can
we
check
on
the
flight
schedule
just
to
make
sure
so
if
we
set
up
an
8
30
meeting
that
there's
actually
a
flight
that
gets
us
in
sort
of
not
doing
any
formula,
one
down
to
Carson
City.
B
Well,
you
need
practice
for
the
Formula
One.
Remember
this.
Yes,
we
can
and
so
I'll
talk.
I
will
work
with
chair
Rosendale
because
I
don't
believe,
we've
actually
set
it
for
8
30,
yet
so,
and
if
I'm
mistaking
Madam
chair
I
apologize
that
I
I
think
the
look
at
the
logistics
of
that
meeting,
I
I
think
from
we
did
start
them,
I
think
in
8
30
for
the
previous
forecast
cycle,
but
that
was
pure
virtual
and
if
I
for
memory
I
believe
they
were
more
like
nine
or
maybe
9
30.
B
When
we
were
in
the
physical
world,
but
again
we
can
work
with
General
and
I
agree,
that's
a
very
good
point
about
the
flights
and
allowing
people
to
get
there
instead
of
having
to
parachute
into
the
legislative
building.
Thank
you
thanks.
A
A
Thank
you
so
then,
we'll
turn
to
Las
Vegas,
the
physical
building
here
in
Las
Vegas.
Anybody
like
to
come
to
the
podium
and
make
a
comment,
there's
nobody
here
and
then
finally
for
BPS.
If
there's
anybody
online,
who
would
like
to
make
public
comment
chair,
the
public
line
is
open
and
working.
However,
there
are
no
callers
at
this
time.
