From YouTube: Node.js Community Committee Meeting
Description
A
And
we
should
be
life
margit's
message
me
asking
if
there's
a
compound
meeting,
so
someone
could
ping
him
on
that.
That
would
be
awesome.
So
with
that
we
we
should
get
hold
on
sorry,
video
start
in
the
background
we
should
get
into
the
agenda,
but
before
we
do,
we
should
go
over
the
initiative
update
so
I'll
start
off
real
quick.
The
moderation
teams
had
a
few
actions.
A
B
C
I
can't
raise
hands
I'm
a
panelist
sir
go
ahead
and
go
so
real
quick.
This
week
we
have
mentorship
T,
we've
had
an
incredible
amount
of
interest
and
we've
begun,
inviting
those
folks
to
note
slackers
the
admins
at
notes.
Lat
on
the
notes,
like
has
been
very
gracious
in
accommodating
everybody
and
one
of
the
admins.
C
There
has
actually
volunteered
to
join
the
mentorship
team,
so
we're
building
good
connective
tissue
with
their
with
the
community
and
I
put
out
an
explicit
request
this
past
week
for
a
bit
more
representation,
we
have
a
team
of
all
men,
organizing
right
now
and
Aaron.
Spiced
'ln
has
graciously
agreed
to
join
the
the
mentorship
team.
She
runs
the
the
local
chapter
with
new
code
and
it
was
a
fantastic
mentor
and
leader
so
very
happy
to
have
her
joining
that.
C
We've
had
a
couple
folks
that
have
gotten
in
you
know
indignant
where's,
my
mentor,
and
you
know
that
really
put
up
my
alarms
that
you
know
we
need
to
make
sure
that
we
have
the
right
path
to
dealing
with
exception
state
dealing
with
with
anything
that
goes
wrong.
Before
we
put
our
volunteers,
you
know
volunteer
mentors
and
volunteer
mentees
in
you
know
the
potential
path
of
harm's
way
so
meeting
on
that
on
Friday
building
process
working
on
projects
everyone's
invited
to
come
to
state.
C
B
So
to
help
with
faster
iterations
and
a
tighter
feedback
loop,
we
started
a
channel
in
the
node
slackers,
a
group
called
website
redesign
feel
free
to
join
and
throw
in
thoughts
and
ideas
there
and
also
last
week
we
got
an
amazing
demo
from
the
run
kit,
though
its
folks
about
how
we
might
be
able
to
use
their
their
service
to
have
live
code.
Demos
on
the
site
for
both
the
API
Doc's
and
the
getting
started.
B
We
have
a
those
first
list
of
badges
in
priority
order
and
we
are
currently
blocked
from
for
the
design
work
from
getting
an
extend,
color
palette,
which
worked
according
it
with
website
redesign
team
as
well
I.
So
it's
other
than
just
the
regular
node
grays
and
greens.
We
might
need
lose
or
yellows
or
red,
so
getting
a
standard.
C
C
I
do
want
to
share
with
everybody
beyond
the
item
that
we're
gonna
go
in
our
agenda
and
discuss
the
node.js
foundation.
Team
has
invited
a
invited
back
group
to
to
share
a
live
user
feedback
session
like
we
did
it
think
at
Jas,
interactive,
so
excited
to
do
that.
You
know
that
is
specifically
centered
around
around
the
enterprise
I'm.
Actually
thinking
about
doing
proposing
two
sessions
there,
one
Enterprise
focused
in
one
general
session
and
push
both
those
in
there
see.
A
D
A
A
Okay,
so
just
we
started
this
meeting
a
little
bit
late
time
box.
Thirty
minutes,
I'm
gonna
see
12:30,
not
30
minutes
through
the
start,
because
we
do
have
a
discussion
that
we
need
to
have
in
the
private
session
around
work.
That's
going
on
and
it's
we
want
to
make
sure
we
get
to
it.
So
we're
timeboxing
this
down
to
30
minutes
the
public
session.
So
with
that
I
think
we
can
get
started
and
go
into
the
agenda
items
so
first
I.
Don't
let
me
point
the
issue
again.
A
First
item
on
the
agenda:
is
the
user
feedback
thing
so
Dan?
You
want
to
give
an
update
on
that.
Sorry,
like
I'm,
throwing
you
into
that
real
quick.
C
All
right
closing
the
loop
that
it
was
started
earlier
this
year
around
the
what
was
named
the
enterprise
advisory,
so
the
the
user
feedback
initiative
has,
you
know,
been
successful
to
build
up
steam.
We
have
actually
you
know
the
the
first
sketch
of
process
in
place
to
document
and
you
know,
extend
and
share
amongst
team
members
how
we're
doing
user
feedback
and
you're
really
happy
with
that
and
the
enterprise
advisory
group.
C
You
know
there
were
sections
of
some
concerns
and
you
know
there's
no
real
champion
right
now
for
that,
so
to
close
that
loop,
what
I've
proposed
is
our
next
meeting
so
Friday
the
30th
ish
will
have
the
those
folks
join
us
in
user
feedback
join
the
regular
sort
of
public
user
feedback
session
that
we've
run
now
several
times
and
introduce
them
to
that
process,
and
then
we're
gonna
have
a
private
session
at
the
end
of
that
session,
and
basically
say
hey.
This
is
a
you
know.
C
This
is
a
proven
process
accepted
and
bought
into
you
know
by
by
the
con
no
jest
project.
Would
you
like
to
go
forward
with
this?
You
know,
since
you
don't
have
any
further
champion,
so
my
expectation
is
that
at
the
conclusion
of
our
meeting
next
Friday,
we
will,
you
know
very
likely
shudder.
That
group-
and
you
know
close
its
chapter
and
close
the
repos
and
sort
of
clean
there
have
been
requests,
do
all
right
now.
What's
going
on,
please
clean
this
up.
C
E
E
A
Definitely
say:
I
learned
a
lot
and
last
to
that,
we've
had
so
okay.
It
definitely
interesting
thing
if
you
can
make
it
and
if
you're
interested
cool
anyone
have
anything
they'd
like
to
see
on
that
cool.
Okay,
then
I
think
we
can
move
on
to
our
next
dumb
travel
fund,
approval
being
and
being
careful
about
funds
available.
So
Tracy
I,
don't
know
if
this
is
this
has
had
any
different
movement
or
if
it,
if
it's
more
of
just
an
FYI
right
now,
do
you
have
any.
E
B
E
Jim
I
think
had
volunteered
miles
was
really
pushing
to
get
somebody
from
the
foundation.
You
know
a
foundation
resource
to
do
that,
since
it
involves
money
and
I.
Think
that's
where
it's
a
little
bit
stuck
is
that
you
know
we
need
to
figure
out
which
model
we're
gonna,
you
know.
Can
we
find
somebody
from
the
foundation?
Is
that
what
we
want
to
do
and
then
you
know
they
own
it
or
is
you
know
Jim
who
graciously
volunteered?
You
know
you
know,
gonna
run
with
it
and.
G
F
So
I
think
I
will
check
with
Myles,
but
if
it
hasn't
been
sent,
we
will
send
an
email
with
Jim
to
mark,
because
mark
can
facilitate
that
there
is
someone
at
the
foundation
who
should
be
able
to
help
with
this
now,
but
mark
has
to
authorize
that
work.
So
it
makes
a
lot
of
sense
because
I
was
doing
that
internally
before,
but
you
still
need
people
within
the
project
for
coordinating
on
our
side.
F
E
C
So
I
I
know
that
Tracy
Lee
and
this
dot
recently
on-boarded
into
the
nerdiest
foundation.
Okay
and
anne-marie
Tong-
is
the
individual
who's
running
point
on
that.
So
my
hope
is
that
that
that
you
know
once
once
they're
up
to
speed
that
they
can
be
that
liaison
made.
You
know
a
bit
of
waiting
as
they're
on
board.
G
We
also
talked
two
meetings
ago
about
there
being
reports
from
the
inside
about
where
how
the
funds
are
where
the
thumbs
are
out.
Basically
and
I.
Remember
when
Mark
was
on
the
call
he
mentioned
that
those
reports
came
out
around
the
15th
of
every
month,
so
were
just
past
that
now
I'm
not
sure.
If
that
it
would
be
a
report
for
the
last
month
that
I
should
be
aware
of
or
that
we
should
be
aware
of
okay,
I.
G
D
Ok,
yeah
I
can
follow
up
on
that
and
then
I
know.
Tracy
said
you're
gonna
work
with
miles
to
just
make
sure
we
have
the
requests
that
you
need
to
send
a
mark
for
approval
on
getting
nodejs
Foundation
into
that.
If
you
can
just
include
me
on
that
request
as
well,
so
in
case
the
travel
funds,
question
is
still
open.
I
can
add
that
in
since
it's
all
part
of
the
same
process.
F
A
F
I
thought
the
latest
discussion
seemed
to
be
moving
towards
that
there
was
an
expectation
that
moderation
would
need
to
be
the
moderators
in
the
slack
and
I
think,
there's
still
some
lack
of
clarity
around
that
the
admins
of
the
slack
have
taken
responsibility
and
acknowledged
that
they
will
apply
the
node
code
of
conduct
and
I
also
have
multiple
admins
in
that
group.
Now
from
them,
either
the
moderation
team
or
from
like
the
node
org
itself,
including
some
con
con
members.
E
F
So
that
also
sort
of
mislike
miss
applies
what
the
moderation
team
does,
because
everyone
who
is
a
collaborator
really
anyone
who's
contributing,
has
the
ability
to
moderate,
but
anybody
who's.
A
collaborator
has
the
tools
to
madhuri.
It's
that
the
moderation
team
has
elevated
permissions
to
do
the
escalated
moderating
when
needed,
so
to
say
that,
like
the
moderation
team
of
the
node
project
needs
to
be,
the
moderators
in
the
slack
seems
ill-fitted
yeah.
E
A
A
I
think
it's
worth
noting
that
a
lot
of
notices,
success
was
by
grassroots
communities,
and
this
is
a
grassroots
community
and
enabling
them
in
our
project
is
or
was
one
of
the
original
goals
that
are
to
my
understanding
of
the
calm,
calm
and
well.
This
is
a
little
different.
It's
still
I
think
within
that
beign
I.
H
F
It's
sort
of
I
think
what
Michaels
saying
is
perfect.
Is
there
like
these
are
pieces
that
we
recognize
are
properly
like
using
the
applying
the
code
of
conduct?
We
can
always
take
that
away,
but,
like
sighs,
the
only
place
doing
that
like
IRC,
you
know
the
node
dev
channel
is
great
and
well
moderated
yeah
pushback.
H
E
The
the
other
concern
voiced,
which
I
think
is
again
a
bit
of
a
different
topic,
was
a
concern
over.
You
know
it's
locked
the
right
choice,
right
and,
and
does
this
now
make
it
the
official
scope,
so
we
tried
to
clarify.
You
know
this
in
no
way
says
that
this
is
the
official
communication
channel
for
the
project.
It's
just
one
of
the
many
ones
we
can.
C
H
A
E
I
think
the
way
forward
is
to
just
for
people
to
continue
to
jump
in,
to
try
and
make
the
case
here
to
say.
Yes,
we
should
do
this
and
at
some
point
you
know
we
may
have
to
go
back
and
say:
okay,
this
is
you
know,
we've
been
discussing
this
for
long
enough.
We
need
a
vote
or
we
need
something
to
close
on
the
issue
because
is
I,
don't
think
it's
like
there's,
not
a
large
number
of
people
objecting
it's
just.
We
need
to
close
on
the
last
couple
either
address.
G
C
C
C
C
E
I
think
you're
right.
We
should
go
back
and
look
at
it
and
you
know
if
maybe
maybe
the
next
step
that
I'd
have
to
look
more
carefully.
But
if
the
objections
have
been
removed,
it
may
be
just
a
comment
saying
hey:
it
looks
like
you
know,
objections
have
been
removed,
we're
planning
to
land
this
in
the
next
next
days.
Unless
people
object,
yeah.
F
D
A
F
A
Would
probably
be
helpful
dan,
you
know
more
about
those
issues
that
I
do
I
believe
is
Dan.
Do
you
know
anything
about
those
specific
issues?
Iii
there
I.
C
There
is
a
way
looking
at
the
screen
that
the
other
screen
so
the
mentorship.
You
know
active
members,
we've
tied
that
we've
got
folks
in
the
moderation
team
coming
on
Friday
and
we
do
need
input.
So
this
is
a
great
opportunity
website
to
if
you
have
folks
that
you
want
on
board
to
your
team.
If
you
need
team
members,
the
mentees
that
are
volunteering
to
participate
and
work
with
mentors
for
six
months
could
find
a
home
in
your
team.
