We
still
have
the
two
two
clam
shell
design,
where
two
axis
pieces
clamshell
around
the
shafts
and
are
connected
with
bolts,
but
now
we're
simplifying
it,
just
like
we
have
with
universal
and
pro
on
the
eight
millimeter
axis
to
to
monolithic
pieces,
which
means
that
you
avoid
all
those
bolts
to
clamp
things
together.
So
you
reduce
part
count
and
simplify
the
design
altogether.

Sizes
both
sizes
that
all
determines
what
you
can
do
and
the
other
part
is
we're
also
integrating
with
the
rest
of
the
ose
system,
which
means
using
the
common
parts
that
we
use
throughout.
So
things
like,

inch
shafts,
eight
millimeter
shafts,
nema,
17
and
23
stepper
motors,
with
very
specific,
mounting
pattern.

Perhaps
we
can
design
well,

the

bed,

harm

getting
the
print
bed
bigger

easily

eight

ten

twelve.

extend

y-axis

axis,

to
have
a
larger
plate
which
we
don't
have

only
have

six
by
six
inch
plates.

print

out

you

the
features
for
an
extrude,
it's
effectively
a
larger
size
version
of
the
extruder.
We
have
the
printer

now,

it
does
make
a
lot
of
sense
for
the
universal
controller,
as
opposed
to
other
dedicated
electronics
with
temperature
probes
and
like
these
dedicated
relays
or
dedicated
temperature
controls,
we
already
have
all
of
that
within
a
universal
controller.
So
let's
just
use
that.
That's
simple
enough!

updated
firmware
that
allows
you
to
control
either
the
3d
printer
or
the
extruder,
so
things
like
that,
we
can
integrate
like.
If
you
want
to
use
one
controller
to
run
both
machines,
you
can,
it
would
require
just
a
little
bit
of
different
wiring
as
well
as
firmware,
but
once
again
you
can
make
this
system
more
redundant
by
using
the
same
part
for
multiple
purposes,
so
that
that's
one
thing
to
think
about,
but
in

whole
electronic
system

filament
maker.

you

alignment

whatever

our
universal
controller
to
control
the

have
to
invent
any
or
document
any
new
electronics.

controller
is

printing
materials

an
industrial
grade
power
which,

would

geared

system,

it

be
very
slow.

if
you

the
five
kilowatt
level
of
shredder
power,
you're
talking
about
tons
of
material
that
you
can
shred
overnight

couple
of
hundred
pounds
overnight.

it's
just
a
question.

you

design

stuff

people

going

triples

designing

future,

effort

worth
it

learned
