with

is
that
your
ear,
you
too
small
in
terms
of
volume
for
a
full
camera,
automated
run
and
big
for
a
manual
runner.

it's

manual

or
somebody's
gonna
spend
a
lot

time.

do
an
automated

have

years
ago,
if
the
offsetting
library
that
was
used
in
heat
cnc
is
used
firmly
in
a
whole
bunch
of
3d
printing
slicing
algorithms
setting
slicer,
maybe
based
on
it
and
there's
a
lot
of
different
implementations
of
it.

with
the
implementation
from

and
then
effectively
rewrote
that
our.

Involved
with
I
got
involved
in
open
sourced
adult
and
probably
she's
out
14
15
years
ago,
I
wrote
a
book
about
freecad,
I
kind
of
oversee
the
path,
development
and
now
I'm
starting
to
do
more
small-scale
manufacturing.
But
mostly
it's
that's
for
that's
for
testing
what
I'm
doing
with
path
more
than
anything
else.
I
have
a
strong
desire
to
steer
the
path
development
so
that
freecad
is
actually
competitive
for
at
least
2.5
d,
commercial
manufacturing.

It's
you
know:
it's
made
sense
for
us
to
focus
on
that
stuff.
In
fact,
with
everything
going
on,
I
ran
into
my
first
first
project
within
the
last
two
or
three
weeks
that
actually
required
me
to
do
a
surfacing
operation.

I've,
been
running
the
code
for
8
years,
but
I've
never
honestly
needed
a
surfacing
operation
until
a
week
ago.

me

somebody
asks

freak

us,

for

that
in
other
packages,

don't

open-source
is
going

fact

well

revolution,

promise

everybody,

things

materialized?

So
the
other
thing
that
we're
looking
at
yeah,
because
the
idea
of
products
turning
into
enterprise-
that's
that's
a
definite
challenge
of
the
open
source
method
that
it
just
takes
forever
and
there's
not
a
good
example
of
a
business
model
coming
out
rapidly,
like
RepRap
has
done
it,
but
nobody
noticed
maybe
took
it
took
a
bit
of
time
we're
looking
at
doing
something
like
so
right
now.
The
idea
is
organize
what
we
call
it
would
be
called
extreme
Enterprise
get
two
hundred
to
a
thousand
people
for
a
weekend
to
actually
develop
a
business
around
something.

it's
like
a
startup
camp,
so
we're
looking
at
here's
an
electric
motor,
so
a
3d
printed,
open-source
electric
motor
design.
That's
that's
good
and
you
have
to
figure
out
a
product
around
it,
but
get
enough
eyeballs
around
that
in
a
short
period
of
time
and
enough
disciplines,
including
enterprise
development
and
distribution,
that
it
turns
into
a
real
product
over
a
week
and
some
that
would
take
a
year
or
two
to
do,
and
we
can
do
that
in
a
weekend.
We're
looking
at
an
experiment
like
that.

It
right-
and
it
just
all
came
together
because
there's
a
lot
of
a
lot
of
prior
art
there,
you

thing

we

an
event
where
we
are
crafting
a
careful
collaboration,
architecture
between
200
and
thousand
people
to
meet
over
a
weekend?

one

those
people.

The
3d
printed
electric
motor
would
be
something
that's
actually
there's
two
sides
to
it.
One
is:
is
an
education
kid
for
how
you
build
basically
training
you
how
to
do
axial
flux,
electric
motors,
but
the
other
part
is
taken
that
into
hopefully
with
3d
printing
methods,
but
if
not
going
into
more
standard
metal,
but
basically
developing
a
an
open-source,
scalable
modular
electric
motor,
that's
high-performance.
So
in
one
side,
you've
got
the
education
component
like
basically
a
stem
kit,
another
side.
Okay,
this
is
actually
a
motor
that
you
can
build
and
it's
inexpensive.

It's
better,
faster,
stronger,
it's
open
source
by
virtue
of
paying
a
lot
of
due
diligence
to
all
the
time.
You
know
to
all
the
things
that
take
the
development
time.
I
think
something
is
something
that's
very
modular
and
scalable
that
can
apply
to
home
appliances
up
to
like
electric
cars,
I
think
that's
doable,
so
I
think
it's
a
good
idea
to
have
an
open
source
electric
motor.
That
would
be
then
lower
cost,
but
I
think
the
bigger
part
of
that,
too
is
I,
mean
I,
guess
the
low.

thing
is
like
the
way
we're
thinking
about
it,
though,
is
that
one
side
is
the
technical
development,
but
we'll
be
bringing
in
everything
else,
like
here's,
the
enterprise
aspect
and
everything
else,
so
we
had

think

combining

many
different
rolls
in
one
it's
kind
of
like
the
startup
camp
thing
trying
to
attract
people
that
way
that
you'll
be
you'll,
see
a
lot
of
things
happening
in
a
short
time,
because
there's
so
many
different
areas
of
people.

it's
actually
like
it's
not
just
for
technical
people.

missing
piece

the
aspect

enterprises
coming

kind
of
deal
seems
that
we
could,
if

organizational
structure
to
handle

manufacture
my
own
thing,

there's
a
guy
down
the
street,
who's
got
a
CNC
router
and
he's
got
surplus
capacity
and

can
tap

should
be
developing
is
the
ability
to
you
know,
get
a
design
to
him
that
he
can
understand
and
act
on
and
then
route
that
material,
so
the
next
guy
in
the
supply
chain
who
can
anodized
it
and
he
can
route
it
to
the
next

well
that's
the
whole
idea
behind
the
extreme.
We
call
it
the
extreme
Enterprise
event
you
have
to
get
those
people,
they
don't
have
to
be
superstars.
They
have
to
be
very
competent,

idea

those
populate
those
roles
very
carefully
with
people
who
have
the
skill
set,
namely
the
experience,
yeah
cuz.

be
people
just
trying
to
learn
that,

that
event,
it's

be
the
people
that
know

already

they're
attracted,
hopefully
because
there's
all
these
other
people
that

good
performers

idea

wrote
that
actually

second
book

free
CAD

art
designed
to
be
used.
For
you

wrote
it

trade
school
level.
The
it's
only
e-book
at
this
point,
but
if
there
was
a
reason
to
have
print
versions
available
that
that's
something

could
be
done,

this
concept
of

open
source
everything
store

we

take
open
source
products
and

qualified

we

take
that
topic
up
in
the

promoting

open

not
only
that,

we're
promoting

idea
of
distributive
enterprise,

that

source

people
how
to

our
3d
printers,

we
sell.

that
distributive
enterprise,

want

get

you

parts

are
supported
in

the
deal
we're
working
on
the
whole,
getting
the
whole
open-source
microfactory
up
to
the
point
where
you
have
an
induction
furnace
and
we're
doing
our
virgin
steel
from
scrap

a
small
facility,
that's
10,000
square
feet
or
less,
and
that
can
be
distributed
anywhere
in
the
world.
