Description
cncf-opentelemetry meeting-2's Personal Meeting Room
A
I've
been
having
lots
of
weird
issues
with
my
laptop
because
I
haven't
been
using
it
for
a
month,
so
I
was
kind
of
afraid
that
the
zoomie
wouldn't
even
work
today
and
I
would
have
to
join
from
my
private,
my
personal
laptop,
but
fortunately
it
did
work.
A
Anyway,
I'm
back
I've
been
reading
all
the
notifications
and
slug
and
all
the
things
that
happened,
so
I'm
still
probably
not
up
to
date,
has
anything
like
important
instrumentation
happen
in
in
the
meantime,.
B
A
A
C
A
A
B
A
A
lot
of
emails,
that's
true,
but
for
some
reason
my
my
laptop
was
like
super
slow
and
even
if
I
turned
off
the
intellij,
probably
I
don't
know.
Maybe
the
os
was
indexing,
something
or
who
knows,
but
yeah.
C
C
So
yes,
so
honorable
last
thursday
was
my
first
in-person
meeting
and
then
today
here
is
my
first
video
call.
I've
been
refusing
to
turn
on
the
camera
so
far,
so
that
like,
if
I
need
to
like
hack
or
something
I
can
just
mute
and
like
so
how
are
you
feeling
much
pretty
good?
You
know
not
for
sure
not
a
hundred
percent,
but.
A
Yeah
yeah,
I
got
covered
february,
match
this
year
and
it
took
me
a
few
weeks
to
like
come
back
to
my
full
capabilities.
I
was
still
feeling
kind
of
kind
of
hazy
for
a
few
weeks.
Even
you
know,
after
all,
the
physical
symptoms,
like
runny
nose
and
things
like
that
disappear.
C
B
C
Yeah,
my
son
was
pretty
sad.
He
got
covered
also
a
little
family
got
covered,
but
he'll
be
in
japan
soon
and
in
the
japan,
coveted
free
bubble.
A
B
B
B
B
C
But
like
as
long
as
yeah,
I
wish
that's.
I
wish
people
like
so
we
went
to
alaska
the
weekend
before
when
we
basically
got
covered,
and
it's
so
dumb
that,
like
the
airplanes
and
airports
like
are
like
30
percent
masked,
like
you
know
like
I
get,
you
know
when
you
end
up
like
you
know,
we
got,
we
were
there
for
a
wedding
and,
like
you
know,
I
get.
B
B
C
C
B
A
C
B
C
Yeah,
the
the
thing
that
I
think
is
tricky
is
so
we
start.
I
mean
we
don't
know
what
frameworks
or
you
know
are
under
when
we
start
the
span
and
yeah.
C
We
also
have
multiple
layers
of
route
resolution
where
we
first
like
resolve
it
to
the
like:
filter,
servlet,
filter
mapping,
servlet
mapping,
then
the
controller
mapping
and
then
there's
even
some
like
nested,
jax,
rs
and
then
yep
nested
controller
mapping,
which
that
I'm
not
totally
sure
about
like
that.
We
couldn't
fix
that.
So
I
mean
we
could
wait
until
I'm
assuming
what
you
were
thinking.
Anurag
is
waiting
until
we
see
the
see
a
controller
mapping.
B
A
C
A
B
A
A
B
B
C
It's
a
nice,
it's
a
yeah,
so
I
mean
I've
had
pretty
good
feedback
from
so
we
have
basically
the
attribute
based
sampling,
similar
to
what
nikita
has
in
the
contrib,
but
with
a
json
configuration,
and
we
we
added
that
pretty
early,
because
that
was
one
of
the
first
things.
People
wanted
for
help
for
health
check
reasons
primarily,
but
that
seems
to
have
held
them
up
pretty
well,
because
you
have
the
url
or
path
patterns,
yeah,.
B
C
B
C
It
would
be
easier
if
we
had
a
com
if
we
had
a
compelling
sampling
story
in
the
ages
today
to
lean
on.
B
B
B
A
C
C
A
C
I
don't
know
it
does
that
that
that's
the
old
school,
that's
like
old-school
spring
spring
mvc,
where
you
would
like,
then
it
would
defer
to
like
your
jsp
page.
B
B
C
B
B
C
Metric
laurie
and
ago
upstreamed,
a
bunch
of
metrics
connection,
pool
metrics.
C
Fixed
and
I
I
did
nothing
about
for
a
while,
because
I
was
scared.
C
But
yeah
the
user
even
replied,
they
tested
it
with
115
and
it
works
now
for
them.
So
right.
All's
well
that
ends
well,
depending
on
where,
when
we
say
when
things.
C
Hook,
issue
that
I
opened-
and
I
don't
know
if
you
left
thought
about
it-
it's
kind
of
an
interesting
asymmetry
between
the
how
the
log
processors
work
on
the
span,
processors,
where
the
span
processors,
the
span,
is
still
editable.
C
For
the
log
processors,
it's
not,
which
is
nice
most
of
the
time
and
makes
sense
like
the
logs
are
simple
and
immutable.
And
you
know
we
don't
need
the
mutability
for
the
most
part,
but
it
does
limit
what
you
can
do
in
a
log
processor
and
so,
alternatively,
to
trying
to
make
them
symmetrical.
C
C
A
B
C
B
C
B
A
A
C
I'll
I'll
chat
with
jack
on.
B
C
What
are
these
words
words,
yeah
I'll
just
I'll
just
I
I
think
cause
jack
is
kept
pretty
close
with
the
log
sig.
C
B
C
B
Same
as
the
spam
record,
I
don't
know
if
it's
still
have
to
look.
C
B
B
Because
we
wouldn't
expose
this
mutability
to
users,
I
think
so,
like
it's
still
not
going
to
be
perfect
analog
to
spin.
This
is
more
on
the
sdk
side.
Expand
processor
will
be
allowed
to
mute
data,
but
user
will
still
just
have
that
one
like
log
builder
and
then
emit,
and
we
won't
return
an
immutable
thing
from
that.
C
C
Yeah
I,
as
long
as
I
vote
for
as
long
as
honorable
continues.
Yeah
I
mean
we
haven't.
C
Oh,
the
the
yeah.
I
mean
that
one.
C
C
We
are
actually
working
on
releasing
standalone
exporters
for
the
for
azure
monitor,
we've
only
embedded
them
inside
of
the
java
agent
at
this
point,
because
that's
all
we've
wanted
to
support
so,
but
we
know
that
there's
users
of
who
want
that
standalone
non-java
agent
experience,
so
that
will
that
will
pull
start
pulling
us
into
that
world.
So
we've
had
zero
customers
in
that
world,
so
it
hasn't
been
a
a
priority.
C
B
B
A
C
John
john
forwarded
it
to
me
also
yeah.
I
agree
standard
error.
I
left
a
comment:
yeah
cool
good,
to
have
you
back
matej.
C
Having
more
yeah,
we
really
on
this
stuff,
a
couple
of
pairs
of
eyes
is
so
helpful.
B
B
C
B
B
B
B
C
Yeah,
I
like
it
for
us
from
supported
from,
like
a
support
perspective
like
to
be
able
to
bundle
all
the
right
versions
of
instrumentation
and
the
version
of
our
exporter
that
we
know
all
works
together,
especially
in
this
world
of
telemetry
pre-telemetry
stability
and
telemetry
schemas.
B
B
C
B
C
Yeah,
I
think
that
one
I
would
have
gotten
around
to
in
just
from
an
api
design
in.
B
C
C
We'll
let
you
catch
up
on
your
email,
backlog
and
github
notification
back.
Are
you
gonna
just
declare
bankruptcy
on
your
github
backlog
log?
No,
you.
A
Know
I
I
always
read
all
those
at
least
you
know
quickly,
look
through
all
the
notifications,
all
the
pr,
so
it
will
take
some
time
for
probably
I'm
still
afraid
of
the
spec
repo.
I
try
to
keep
up
to
date
with
it,
but
a
four
week
break.
It
will
be
hard,
so
yeah.
B
B
B
C
C
Cool
well
good
to
have
you
back
matej
and
thanks
for
continuing
to
join
us
here
on
iraq.
Well
I'll
I'll,
keep
it
on!
Keep
it
on
my
my
calendar.
