From YouTube: 2022-04-18 meeting
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Okay,
yes,
we
can
start.
This
will
probably
be
a
quick
call
yeah.
I
totally
forgot
about
easter
okay
agenda
specification.
Nothing
happening
we're
still
working
in
april,
we'll
have
a
release
on
on
may
that's
all
for
now.
Metrics
caesars!
Anybody
here
from
the
metrics
group.
A
Fair
enough,
okay,
logs
probably
the
same.
A
Perfect
java,
likewise
joe
instrumentation,
do
you
want
to
mention
what's
happening
there.
A
Okay,
well
any
I
guess
I
can
go
and
go
ahead
and
say
that
myself,
regular
release
113
today
or
tomorrow-
that's
very
nice.
Thank
you
so
much
for
that,
working
through
probability,
sampling
pr
review
from
ottmar
ertl.
I
plan
to
review
that
as
well.
I
did
a
review
of
the
hotep
and
the
actual
spec
part,
so
yeah.
Thank
you
for
raising
that.
I
think
that's
a
big
pr
and
anurag
called
that
this
should
be
split.
It's
good
call!
C
Yes,
I
am
here
so
yeah.
We
have
a
regular
release.
A
Okay,
I
guess
I
can
go
ahead:
release
metrics,
sdk,
stable
one
to
two
very
nice
for
that,
thanks
so
much
for
that
next
release
could
focus
on
stabilizing
prometheus
export
there
and
improvements
to
otlp
logsporter
nice
go.
D
Yeah
I
got
the
same
talk
a
little
about
it,
still
working
on
a
1.7
release.
Another
feature
release
we've
had
a
few
patch
releases
in
the
past
talked
about
it
was
talked
about
last
week
and
then
yeah
still
working
on
the
sdk
there's
active
development
for
the
metrics
sdk.
Sorry,
the
api
is
still
a
work
in
progress
too,
but
it's
out
and
experimental
and
ready
to
be
played
around
with.
A
Thank
you.
Thank
you
for
the
update
c
plus
clause.
E
No,
yes,
I
mean
so
we
had
a
1.3.0
release.
I
mean
I
had
mentioned,
which
had
improvements
for
the
trace
and
the
build
development
ongoing
for
the
matrix
sdk.
We
had
a
good
progress
last
couple
of
weeks,
so
the
primitives
exporter,
pr,
is
in
review
and
the
async
instrument
aggregation
pipeline
pipeline
work.
That's
one
of
the
major,
I
think
part
which
is
missing
as
of
now
we
are
targeting
to
complete
by
this
week
and
then
the
alpha
releases
plan
for
this
month
end.
E
C
A
A
Okay,
ruby
metrics
work
in
progress,
splitting
up
country,
repo
and
new
country,
maintainer
and
core
approvers.
That's
pretty
sweet!
Thank
you
so
much
for
that.
Swift,
no
updates.
I
suspect
and
collector
0
49
release
delay
due
to
a
potential
leak
in
the
prometheus
receiver.
F
Yes,
it's
a
memory
lake
and
this
is
related
to
a
change
that
was
made
upstream
in
prometheus
in
order
to
support
capabilities
that
we
require
in
the
prometheus
receiver
to
support
the
otter
labels
capability
for
prometheus
metric
federation
and,
unfortunately,
that
change
upstream
led
to
a
memory
leak
that
they've
rolled
back
and
we've
halted.
Our
release,
waiting
for
further
guidance
from
them.
F
We
don't
have
any
guidance
from
them.
It
was
just
noticed
it
late
last
week
like
thursday,
so
I
think
our
our
options
probably
are
to
roll
back.
The
changes
we've
made
if
we
have
to,
and
if
that
you
know,
if
fx
isn't
forthcoming
from
them
soon,
but
I'll
leave
that
to
the
collector
maintainers
to
decide.
A
G
G
You
know
at
open,
open
source
summit
anyway
hope
to
see
you
there.
If
you
want
to
only
attend
the
community
day
and
not
attend
open
source
summit,
that's
totally
fine.
The
tickets
are
purchasable
separately.
G
You
can
see,
there's
a
there's,
a
link
to
the
website.
There
there's,
unfortunately,
only
a
couple
of
days
left
for
the
early
pricing
tickets
and
there's
also
a
link
to
a
google
form.
If
you
would
like
to
submit
a
lightning
talk
or
a
workshop
and
then
for
anyone
who
works
at
a
company
that
they
think
may
be
interested
in
sponsoring.
G
I
did
also
link
the
sponsor
prospectus
there
and
the
relevant
open,
telemetry
stuff
is
on
page
22.,
happy
to
answer
any
questions
you
can
reach
out
to
me
or
also
ted
or
elite,
as
they've
also
been
working
on
this
but
yeah.
That's
the
that's!
The
info
I
have
for
that
I'll
definitely
be
there
and
I
hope
to
see
other
people,
if
you
guys
can
make
it.
G
Say
since
we're
all
maintainers
here-
and
we
all
have
sig
meetings
this
week,
I
would
appreciate
it
if
you
guys
could
also
mention
this
in
the
sig
meetings
for
each
language
to
try
to
spread
this
as
much
as
possible.
I'll,
also
post
it
in
the
various
slack
channels
that
we
have.
G
Yeah,
that's
the
idea.
It
was
sort
of
like
a
meet
the
maintainers
session.
I
don't
know
exactly
what
the
format
will
be
right
now,
but
it'll
probably
be
a
panel
of
some
kind.
A
Thank
you
so
much
for
that
anything
else.
On
that
front
or
any
other
front.
