A
Thank
you
welcome.
Everybody
today
is
Friday
July
26th
and
we
are
public
session
of
the
board
meeting
here.
I
would
like
to
provide
a
quick
update
on
the
board
directory
one
of
the
pieces
of
news
that
happened
in
the
past
month,
since
the
last
time
we
had
a
board
meeting
was
that
we
now
have
the
second
community
director
in
place.
So
we
are
welcoming
Michael
Dawson,
and
we
would
also
on
the
board
here
like
to
thank
the
outgoing
interim
community
directors,
Tracy
Hines
and
Dave
Mithen,
for
their
contributions
on
the
screen.
A
Now
we
have
the
2019
meeting
scheduled
we
meet
generally
on
the
fourth
Friday
of
the
month,
so
August
23rd
will
be
the
next
meeting
and
then
September
27th,
October,
25th
and
November
22nd,
and
we
here
we
have
the
agenda
for
the
meeting
today.
The
first
thing
we
will
approve
the
minutes
from
the
last
meeting.
I
will
give
an
update
on
the
event
and
then
some
news
on
the
transition.
A
A
Go
okay,
great,
okay.
First
off
I
would
like
to
welcome
our
newest
members.
Sauce
labs
and
vincit
have
both
joined
as
silver
members,
so
welcome
to
the
foundation.
Thank
you
for
for
being
a
part
of
this
organization,
and
the
first
order
of
business
for
today
is
to
approve
the
public
meeting
minutes
from
the
June
21st
first
session
of
the
board
of
directors.
Do
we
have
a
motion
to
adopt.
A
Okay,
the
motion
carries
okay,
so
first
I
will
give
an
update
on
where
we
are
with
the
the
big
event,
with
no
jeaious
no
plus
J
s,
Interactive
2019.
Again,
we
are
planning
to
do
this
December
10th
through
12th.
It
will
be
in
Montreal
the
CFP
closed
in
the
past
month,
and
the
program
committee
is
hard
at
work.
Reviewing
the
sessions
that
have
been
submitted.
A
We
had
good
a
good
response
this
year
and
we
are
looking
forward
to
sending
out
notifications
sometime
next
week
and
then
after
about
a
week
or
so,
we
will
then
announce
the
and
that's
the
schedule
of
folks
who
have
accepted
their
accepted
their
sessions,
and
we
are
also
as
a
reminder
looking
at
a
2020
event,
continuing
to
focus
on
Canada
and
thank
you
as
well
to
our
sponsors.
So
far
we
have
RedHat
century
inland
ode.
If
your
organization
is
interesting
interested
in
sponsoring,
please
do
reach
out.
We
would
be
very
happy
to
have
you.
A
Basically,
this
is
something
which
is
actively
ongoing.
Many
of
these
things
are
happening
behind
the
scenes,
but
you
know
the
goal
is
to
be
fully
integrated
here
following
the
merger
earlier
this
year.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
things
are
functioning
smoothly
on
the
backend.
You
know
really.
The
big.
A
The
biggest
thing
that
we
have
going
on
right
now
is
that
the
CPC
is
operating
regularly
and
they're
meeting
alternating
between
12:00
p.m.
Eastern
and
2:00
p.m.
Eastern
on
Tuesdays.
If
you
do
not
have
access
to
that
calendar
or
if
you,
if
you
don't
know
when
those
meetings
are
go
to
the
to
the
CPC's
github
repo
and
in
the
readme,
there's
a
link
to
the
calendar,
you
can
add
it
and
that
will
always
be
kept
up
to
date.
A
We're
also
working
on
some
operational
consolidation
as
well.
At
the
back
end
again
attempting
to
streamline
things
for
members.
We
are
in
the
process
right
now,
working
on
a
straightforward
list
of
the
technical
marketing
services
that
are
available
for
projects,
and
we
are
also
working
on
defining
defining
the
various
trademark
and
and
other
legal
policies
that
that
will
be
coming
out
from
the
merged
organization,
which
then
will
lead
to
guidance
to
the
projects
and
and
how
to
implement
those.
Does
anybody
have
any
questions.
A
Okay,
I
would
also
note
for
anybody
who's
watching
on
the
live
stream.
We
have
a
new
page
on
the
open,
JSF
org
website
called
collaboration,
and
this
came
out
of
discussions
on
the
CPC
about
how
you
know.
As
a
foundation,
we
have
some
centralized
communication
channels
which
are
in
addition
to
what
the
projects
themselves
use
on
a
day
to
day
basis,
and
we
want
this
to
be
very
discoverable
to
make
it
easy
for
anybody
to
participate
anybody
to
join
and
and
see
what's
going
on.
A
If
you
are
not
part
of
the
discussions
or
if
you're
not
part
of
our
slack
workspace
or
if
you're
not
on
the
mailing
lists.
This
is
the
place
to
go
in
order
to
find
information
on
how
to
how
to
participate
and
how
to
get
involved.
I
would
also
note
that
if
you
are
a
project
who
does
need
a
mailing
list
separate
from
the
foundation
mailing
lists
please
reach
out
to
us.
This
is
something
that
we
can
help
with
and
in
general,
you
know
if
there
are.
A
D
D
So
one
of
the
recent
discussion
that
was
started
is
the
governance
details
around
regular
CPC
members,
so
folks
that
are
associated
with
our
projects.
That
would
like
to
be
regular
as
the
term
we
use
CPC
members
and
some
of
the
things
that
we're
just
discussing
that
are
not
haven't
been
clearly
defined.
Yet
are
things
like
when
they
send
a
pull
request
to
join
the
CPC?
How
long
does
that
have
to
be
open
or
the
different
repos
or
mailing
lists?
D
The
other
big
item
going
on
is
the
defining
the
project
onboarding
process,
so
we've
been
working
through
the
proposal
staging
process,
and
now
the
board
has
reviewed
the
recent
proposal
and
there
haven't
been
any
objections
to
that.
So
we
should
be
moving
that
to
stage
3,
which
is
complete
shortly
and
so
as
part
of
this
process.
The
architect
project
and
moeka
have
decided
to
sort
of
dog
food
that
process
and
start
working
through
it
to
better
understand
what
what
new
projects
we'll
go
through
and
try
to
help
ease
that
process
for
those
new
projects.
D
D
This
is
still
very
early
draft
to
be
moved
to
stage
zero,
and
so
the
idea
there
is
most
of
everyone
should
be
familiar
with
the
node.js
projects
travel
fund.
The
idea
here
is
to
to
expand
and/or,
establish
a
foundation
wide
travel
fund
for
projects,
so
that
is
very
early,
but
all
of
these
items-
those
links-
are
being
tracked
in
the
github
repo
issue,
tracker
for
the
cross,
pocket
console,
and
that's
it
from
me.
A
F
We
will
be
announcing
the
schedule,
August
5th,
so
stay
tuned
there,
a
quick
snapshot
of
content
and
thought
leadership,
initiatives
for
those
who
don't
know
we
do
have
an
open,
Jazz
foundation,
blog
up
and
running,
and
we
do
have
a
few
pieces
of
content
up
there.
So,
if
you
haven't
already,
please
go
check
it
out.
F
F
I
do
foresee
a
I
do
foresee
that
the
nude
collection,
the
nodejs
collection
blog,
will
go
up
a
little
bit
more
here
in
the
next
several
weeks,
as
we
do
have
some
new
guidelines
on
how
to
submit
content
to
the
collection
coming
out
so
stay
tuned
for
that.
In
addition,
we
do
have
monthly
AMAs
that
we
are
working
on
so
we're
gathering,
content
and
speakers
for
those
so
keep
it.
Keep
your
eyes
open
for
those
exciting
things
for
the
open,
Jas
foundation,
social
media.
F
G
F
This
is
this
right
right
now.
What
you're
looking
at
is
open,
Jas,
foundation
and
I
think
you
know,
as
we
kind
of
continue
the
transition.
Those
are
conversations
that
we'll
need
to
figure
out
as
far
as
how
we
do
that
reporting.
So
it's
a
really
good
question
and,
and
certainly
something
that
will
need
further
discussion
on.
You
know
how
we
report
those
those
metrics
out
totally.
G
F
F
F
I
tend
to
agree
with,
you
I
think
it's,
it's
really
awesome
to
see
just
the
engagement
lots
of
lots
of
likes
and
retweets,
and
things
like
that,
so
we'll
just
continue
to
to
build
that
and
yeah.
So
we're
excited
to
see
that
I
did
want
to
call
out
on
YouTube
for
specifically
for
the
node.js
project
is
in
previous
months
it's
been
really
flat
or
down,
and
since
we've
started
pushing
more
of
playlists,
we
are
seeing
a
slight
uptick.
I
mean
definitely
arrows
are
going
the
the
right
way
versus
down.
A
C
F
Know
that's
a
good
question
and
the
one
thing
that
I
can
imagine
is
that
we've
been
posting
more
to
it.
So
just
slightly
slightly
more
nothing
crazy,
but
you
know,
instead
of
maybe
once
or
twice
you
know,
we've
just
kind
of
going
a
little
bit.
You
know
heavier
on
the
posting,
but
aside
from
that,
no
it's
I.
Don't
know.
If
folks
are
you
know
just
preferring
LinkedIn
to
Twitter
at
this
point,
but
it
is
it's
something
that
we're
gonna
keep
looking
at,
because
it
is
peculiar
to
me.
F
Let
me
go
in
and
explore
that
a
little
bit
because
you're
right
now,
this
reports
specifically
on
I
know
that
that
was
a
specific
group
that
you're
referring
to.
So
this
doesn't
necessarily
report
on
that,
but
there
could
be
some
cross.
