A
Okay,
great
welcome
everybody
up
on
the
screen.
Here
is
the
board
directory.
We
have
various
members
here,
I
believe
the
only
member
who
we
don't
have
today
is
Charlie
Robbins
and
up
on
the
screen.
Right
now
is
our
2019
meeting
schedule.
As
a
reminder
we
meet
on
the
fourth
Friday
of
the
month
at
or
around
2
p.m.
Eastern,
and
the
next
meeting
is
on
September
27th.
Then
we're
also
meeting
October,
25th
and
November
22nd
the
agenda.
For
today
we
will
approve
the
meeting
minutes
from
the
last
board
meeting.
A
We
will
give
a
brief
update
on
the
event
plans
for
2019
and
some
early
plans
on
2020
Chris
Borchers
has
an
update
on
the
CPC.
There
are
a
number
of
updates
to
the
CPC
Charter
as
well.
It
will
discuss
and
I
will
give
a
quick
update
on
where
we
are
as
a
transition.
The
merger
of
the
two
organizations
and
then
Rachel
Romo,
will
give
a
marketing
update.
Does
anybody
have
any
changes
or
additions
on
the
agenda.
A
Ok,
so
I've
mentioned
this
in
the
last
call,
but
again
bear
is
mentioning
welcome
back
to
sauce
labs
and
welcome
to
the
foundation
since
it
both
joined
as
silver
members
over
the
summer.
So
we'd
like
to
welcome
them
and
our
first
order
of
business
is
to
approve
the
July
24th
board
meeting
minutes
so
board.
You
have
received
the
meeting
minutes.
Does
anybody
have
any
changes
or
a
discussion
on
them?.
A
A
Any
abstain,
hi
bye,
okay,
thank
you
all
right.
The
motion
carries
all
right.
Moving
on
a
quick
update
on
the
event
here
is,
everybody
should
hopefully
be
aware.
Now
we
are
having
the
2019
node,
plus
J
s,
interactive
in
Montreal
summer
10th
through
12th.
We
are
also
in
the
process
of
planning.
A
2020
event
had
been
looking
initially
on
for
some
locations,
also
in
Canada
during
the
private
session
of
the
board.
Call
we
discussed
having
discussed
dates
a
little
bit
and
we
are
looking
at
potentially
moving
this
back
a
little
bit
earlier
in
the
year.
A
Okay,
well
I
and
I
would
just
would
also
say
here
as
well.
Thank
you
to
our
sponsors.
The
first
sponsors
who
have
come
through.
We
have
Red
Hat,
Central
endowed
and
Note
run.
So
if
you
are
part
of
an
organization-
and
you
would
like
to
sponsor
the
event,
we
would
love
to
have
you
you
can
either
go
to
that
link
or
you
can
reach
out
to
me
Brian
Warner.
You
can
reach
me
at
operations
at
open,
JSS,
org
and
I'll
be
happy
to
connect
you
with
the
right
people.
B
Well,
we
have
talked
about
also
giving
people
the
heads
up,
that
we
are
looking
for
new
dates
for
known
plus
J
s,
interactive
for
2020,
right,
yep,
and,
and
so
it
was
an
expanded
date.
Range
we'd
like
to
get
out
of
the
separ
and
that
scheme
is
I
would
actively
seeking
other
dates
and
other
locations.
A
D
E
So
the
discussions
on
the
code
and
learn
they
no
notice
done
code
learns
in
particular,
either
with
or
separately
from
the
node
plus
jess
interactive
sessions.
The
the
discussion
was
to
see
if
it
started
out
as
like,
should
that
be
moved
up
to
more
of
an
open,
Jas
effort
and
cover
other
projects.
You
know
initial
discussions
seem
to
be
that
you
know.
Maybe
it's
run
its
course
in
terms
of
doing
it
for
node
and,
and
so
that
could
make
sense,
but
there's
some
sort.
D
Great
there's
also
an
initial
proposal:
that's
been
sent
in
to
establish
an
open,
Jas
travel
fund
so
for
those
that
are
familiar,
the
that
nodejs
had
project
has
had
a
travel
fund
for
a
well
known,
and
the
idea
here
is
is
to
potentially
expand
that
out
to
an
open,
Jas,
wide
travel
fund
and
that
proposal
is
working
through
or
opposing
process.
Now.
D
E
B
D
D
E
C
D
D
Historically,
the
the
node.js
project
has
managed
its
its
own
infrastructure.
A
number
of
the
J's
foundation
have
managed
their
own
infrastructure
to
different
degrees
of
success,
and
so
now
the
discussions
are
happening
around
is
their
infrastructure
that
the
foundation
could
offer
both
in
terms
of
actual
infrastructure
resources,
as
well
as
person
power
to
to
help
manage
infrastructure.
D
Do
projects
want
paid
help,
or
would
they
prefer
to
maintain
that
infrastructure
themselves,
and
so
there's
just
there's
a
lot
of
different
aspects
of
managing
infrastructure
from
a
project
security
standpoint
and
also
just
project
ability
to
the
the
people
involved
in
the
project.
Have
the
the
abilities
to
manage
their
own
infrastructure
and
and
in
some
cases,
even
to
determine
what
infrastructure
needs
they
have.
So
that
discussion
is
is
definitely
ongoing.
Would
you
add
anything
Michael,
I'd.
E
No
I
think
it's
it's
basically
that
you
know
we
see
this
as
something
that
the
foundation
could
add
value
on.
But,
like
you
mentioned,
there's
a
lot
of
different
aspects
in
terms
of
what
will
make
sense
to
projects
so
we're
starting
to
get
together
and
bring
all
those
perspectives
together
and
figure
out
what
we,
we
think
could
make
sense.
E
We
we
have
a
stage
zero
proposal
or
stage
one
proposal
that
that's
currently
like
this
work
is
to
update
it
to
add
the
its.
It
explains,
the
external
interaction
you
know,
so
it's
got
report,
emails
and,
and
so
there's
I
think
today
there's
a
way
where
escalation
could
be
could
be
done
and
we're
trying
to
add
the
documentation
of
what
happens
when
we
get
one
of
those
reports
and
that
may
affect
what
the
external
you
know.
E
Recording
processes
as
well,
but
I
just
want
to
clarify
a
little
bit
that
you
know
I
think
today
we
do
have
something
that
you
know
somebody
could
used
escalate
if
there
was
an
issue
we're
just
trying
to
complete
the
the
back
end.
That
says:
okay,
if
that
happens,
make
sure
that
we
have
a
streamlined
process
for
handling
those
reports
right.
D
Exactly
and
then
the
final
item
here
is
now
that
we
do
have
a
proved
application
process.
We
have
receiving
some
applications
from
potential
new
projects,
and
so
those
are
are
currently
under
review.
The
the
process
begins
with
a
silent
period,
so
CPC
is
having
conversations
with
those
projects
right
now
and
as
they
progress,
you
will
report
back.
A
D
D
Yeah
this
one
was
to
basically
change
the
term
within
the
CPC
charter.
Changed
the
term
maintainer
z'
to
governing
body,
because
maintainer
x'
could
have
different
definitions
to
different
projects
for
different
people,
whereas
governing
body
was
a
little
more
generic
term.
That
would
that
would
cover
be
the
group
of
governing
the
project.
So.
F
Also,
while
we
have
the
previous
one
has
gone
through
like
the
entire,
like
consensus
seeking
in
time
process,
so
it's
ready
to
live
in
this
one
number
305
votes
been
brought
up
at
a
meeting
has
not
been
brought
up
in
a
meeting
with
quorum.
We
do
have
consensus
on
it
right
now,
but
there
is
still
a
bit
for
the
project
side
before
this
one
Finland,
but
we
wanted
to
you
know,
get
the
the
board
stamp
in
advance.
So
as
long
as
there's
no
additional
changes,
we
can
move
forward
with
the
changes.
It
exists.
F
So
this
is
actually
I
think
an
interesting
one
to
bring
up
for
the
furthest
change.
That's
like
basic
errata,
traditionally
at
least
we're
over
a
knowed.
All
of
these
changes,
even
errors
required
for
approval
in
a
meeting
I,
would
actually
like
to
make
a
motion
for
any
substantive
changes
or
errata
to
be
able
to
approve
by
email,
yeah.
F
D
D
E
A
A
C
Thing
so
pretty
quickly
we're
just
out
of
time,
so
the
schedule
has
gone
live
with.
Noaa
coast
is
interactive
and
you
know
will
be
announced
here
in
the
coming
weeks.
So
we
can
move
on
to
the
next
slide.
C
I'm,
just
a
quick
snapshot
of
our
content
and
thought
leadership
initiatives
we
are
up
and
running
on
our
open,
JX
foundation,
blog
we've,
we've
got
a
ton
of
good
content
coming
out,
we're
really
doing
a
great
job
of
building
that
content
pipeline
here
are
just
some
blog
metrics.
As
you
can
see,
no
questions
interactive.
It's
performing
really
really
well.
So
that's
awesome
to
see
if
there
are
no
questions
on
this
slide,
we
can
move
on
to
social
media.
C
So
social
media,
what
we're
seeing
is
a
correlation
between
our
blog
activity
and
our
follower
again,
which
is
interesting
to
see
so
we'll
continue
to
post
regularly
on
the
blog
and
hopefully
continue
to
grow.
Our
Twitter
audience
will
also
be
looking
at
standing
up
a
LinkedIn
account
here.
You
know
in
the
next
probably
few
weeks
or
so
our
subscribers
to
to
YouTube
we're
one
of
about
16
folks
in
the
left
in
the
last
28
days,
we'll
continue
to
push
that
out
over
Twitter.
C
C
This
is
basically
a
snapshot
on
the
one
thing
that
I
did
want
to
point
out
is.
We
are
really
performing
very,
very
well
on
LinkedIn,
and
we
continue
to
do
so.
I
did
a
little
bit
of
diving
into
this
and
it
seems
like
technical
content,
performs
amazing
over
there.
So
I'm,
you
know
we'll
continue
to
post
that
type
of
content,
because
that
seems
to
be
what
that
audience
is
really
craving.
As
you
can
tell
from
the
the
follower,
change
is
just
pretty
substantial
and
I
believe
that
are
on
that
site.
Yep,
okay,.
B
Yeah,
it
looks
like
we're:
gonna
lose
folks
as
well,
so
I
want
to
thank
everybody
who
attended
both
our
board
members,
any
members
of
the
audience
and
staff
again
for
the
great
work
in
putting
this
together
and
helping
us
get
through
this.
So
thank
you.
Let's
conclude
the
open
jails,
Foundation
Board
meeting
for
today,
thanks.
