A
All
right
welcome
everyone
to
the
openjs
standards
working
group,
this
beautiful
stuff,
very
cold,
February
7th.
We
start
with
announcements
and
there
are.
There
are
a
few
first
I
just
wanted
to
raise
the
community's
attention
to
the
Google
season
of
docs
and
season
summer
of
code,
I
renamed
that
I
think
now
to
just
season
of
code.
A
Two
the
applications
for
that
are
up
starting
February
15th,
so
starting
next
week,
you'll
be
able
to
turn
in
an
application
as
either
a
you
know,
a
participant
or
a
participating
project
in
either
of
those
programs,
I
think
they're
really
great,
and
obviously
we
have
a
lot
of
wonderful
projects
at
the
openjs
foundation
that
I
think
could
potentially
benefit.
So
if
that
is
something
that
you
want
to
do,
let
obviously
Luke
Robin
Joe
jewelry.
A
A
So
if
there
is
something
that
you
think
the
w3c
community
should
kind
of
put
on
the
the
probably
already
bursting
full
agenda,
but
it's
not
not
ever
an
issue
to
sort
of
say:
maybe
we
could
discuss
this.
Even
it
is
goes
on
the
backlog.
That's
fine
too,
but
they're
looking
for
input
on
on
agenda
items
for
the
AC
meeting
in
May.
So
let
us
know
if
there's
something
on
your
mind.
A
Additionally,
from
w3c
news,
the
web
fonts
working
group
is
looking
for
a
vote
to
update
its
Charter.
So
if
you
have
any
thoughts
or
input
on
that,
the
foundation
could
cast
a
ballot
to
support
that
Charter,
Amendment
and
and
which
is
very
relevant
and
connected
Charter
for
our
community
and
then
last
but
not
least,
I
think
we
may
have
already
covered
this
on
a
call,
but
I
don't
remember,
because
I've
been
sick.
A
Since
then,
the
a
b
election
results
for
the
w3c
are
in,
and
that
was
a
pretty
full
and
very
well
qualified
group
of
candidates,
but
tontek
elica,
Charles
and
King
on
from
Alibaba
are
the
four
folks
that
were
elected,
and
we
just
want
to
say
congratulations
to
those
folks
for
their
election
to
the
a
b
and
I
think
that
is
it
for
like
they're.
Just
for
the
announcements
that
I
had
thought
of
Robin
Luke
Joe
Mike.
Are
we
other
announcements
from
you
all?
What
did
you
announce.
B
Ticket
sales
opened
up
for
openjs
World
on
January
25th,
that's
May,
9th
through
the
12th.
The
9th
is
the
collab
Summit
for
the
cross
project.
Council
10th
through
12th
is
our
micro
conference
under
the
open
source,
Summit
North
America,
so
we
cfps
have
opened
and
closed
I,
don't
think,
there's
an
extension
I
ping,
the
folks.
So
our
program
committee
will
work
on
getting
some
more
great
content
this
year.
A
Awesome
I
didn't
realize
that
ticket
sales
had
opened,
so
that
is
really
big
news.
Yeah
so
book
your
book,
your
ticket
and
hope
to
see
everyone
in
beautiful,
beautiful
Vancouver.
So
pretty
my
favorite
place
of
all
of
our
events.
A
Nope
okie
doke
all
right.
Oh,
we
have
an
attendee
in
the
waiting
room
at
which
I
can't
see
I.
A
Good
timing
Richard
because
I
was
going
to
move
us
into
our
regular
agenda
and
I
wondered
if
we
would
have
somebody
from
tc39
interested
in
available
to
give
a
any
kind
of
brief
summary
report
from
the
recent
meeting.
A
If
you
were
able
to
make
it.
If
so,
would
you
want
to
say
a
few
words
about
that.
D
Yeah
I
was,
it
was
a
rather
interesting
meeting.
There
were
one
proposal
got
stepped
back
a
stage
from
three
to
two
because
of
feedback
from
the
browser,
so
that's
import
assertions
and
then
a
number
of
good
discussions
on
some
some
other
issues,
some
other
proposals,
rather
none
of
which
are
jumping
out
at
me
at
the
moment,
I'll
go
over
the
agenda
minutes
and
then
revisit.
A
Okay,
yeah:
we
can
pop
back
to
that,
if
you,
if
something
jumps
out
as
you
review,
that
their
kind
of
update
was
I,
know
that
the
the
tag
have
been
having
some
ongoing
readings
Leia.
Our
tag,
rep
is
actually
out
today
for
another
tag
meeting,
so
we
will
get
an
update
from
her
next
time
on
the
activities
of
of
the
tag.
A
So
that
is
that,
and
we
don't
have
Emily
to
talk
about
Unicode.
So
that
is
that's.
That's
all
it
for
my
think.
Recent
meeting
reports
unless
anybody's
got
one
nope.
Oh.
D
Looking
it
up,
the
the
ones
that
that
went
interesting
were
like
process
changes.
Tc39
has
switched
now
as
of
this
past
meeting
to
active
consensus,
so
explicit
support
for
anything
is
required
rather
than
silent
and
also
better
documentation
of
when
a
proposal
is
ready
to
ship.
D
A
That
is
very
interesting.
Do
they
have
a
link
to
to
be
so
many
people
and
and
projects
have
really
built
what
they
do
on
the
basis
of
how
tc39
advances
proposals,
have
they
published
that
process
update
yet
or
is
that
something
that
would
be
incoming
for
the
community
to
review?
Let's.
D
See
so
ready
to
ship
has.
D
A
A
All
right
all
right,
any
other
questions
or
discussion
on
that
reports
or
probably
not.
A
Okey-Doke
that
moves
us
to
issue
191,
which
is
the
public
calendar
for
web
standards,
group
meetings
and
last
night
I
went
in
to
the
public
calendar
and
added
meetings
to
that
for
tc39
for
the
rest
of
the
year.
Tc53
is
meeting
on
a
monthly
Cadence.
A
Now,
every
third
Wednesday
I
also
added
the
w3c
meetings
that
they
have
so
far,
which
are
TPAC
the
AC
meeting
and
then
a
connected
conference
that
they're
co-supporting
on
data
regulation
in
the
EU
I
was
going
to
ask
Emily
if
there
I've
got
the
list
of
Unicode
meetings
and
but
I
want
to
check
with
Emily
on
which
might
be
the
most
relevant
to
include
on
our
on
our
public
calendar
and
then
ask
us
also
the
the
broader
group
here
oh
openjs
world
is
on
there.
A
Obviously
too,
are
there
any
other
groups
that
way
want
to
track
for
inclusion
on
this
on
this
public
calendar
again,
the
idea
is
to
use
this
to
help
kind
of
in
a
couple
of
ways.
One
reduce
Collision
where
possible
between
these
consortia
and
those
meetings,
because
you
know
or
find
Opportunities
to
co
exist
in
the
same
space.
So
that's
more
more
opportunity
for
cooperation
and
then
I
think
for
the
openjs
world,
2
or
openjs
group
as
well.
A
It's
you
know
a
place
for
us
to
sort
of
organize
the
kind
of
communities
we're
tracking
and
wanting
to
get
involved
more
with
some
groups
like
what
WG
have
very
regular
sync
focused
like
the
HTML
triage
meeting
right.
That's
probably
a
little
too
granular
for
our
group
to
put
on
this
calendar,
but
I'm
also
open
to
saying
you
know:
oh,
let's
put
it
on
there,
so
yeah
any
other
things
that
we
would
want
to
include.
Or
do
we
feel
like.
B
A
That's
great
add
that
yeah
I
guess
adding
that
and
and
then
also
relevant
Unicode
and
then
probably
once
those
are
added
close.
This
issue
for
2023.
A
First
day
of
the
micro
conference,
our
conflicts
but
AC
meeting
is
a
very
small
group
of
people
compared
to
the
the
broader
technical
community,
so
probably
not
going
to
have
too
much
of
an
impact
except
unlike
me,
and
I'll,
go
to
open,
JS,
World,
probably
sorry
Don.
A
Any
other
issue
for
discussion
about
the
calendar
alrighty
then
I,
thought
I'd
put
this
on
the
agenda
today
as
well.
Oh
I
did
I,
just
didn't
put
it
in
the
agenda
document.
I
wanted
to
talk
about
openjs
world
and
the
and
our
standards
group
and
whether
we
wanted
to
make
time
for
meetings
during
the
summit
and
or
help
with
some
programming
and
or
consider
you
know
the
last
year
we
we
helped
Source
some
great
nominees
for
the
JavaScript
landia
standards
award.
A
So
there
there's
some
kind
of
specific
buckets
there.
I
don't
know
Robin.
If
you
wanted
to
give
us
a
little
bit
of
parameters
that
we
should
be
working
within
for
the
from
the
event
side
of
things
or
anything
like
that,
yeah.
B
So
on
the
content,
our
program
committee
has
been
working
and
We've
sort
of
determined
that
we're
going
to
have
15.
We
have
15
on-site
sessions,
we're
going
to
add
another
10
to
15
virtual
sessions.
This
is
for
the
micro
conference
and
maybe
curate
like
a
third
of
those.
Perhaps
so
there
is
room
well
again,
we'll
get
we'll
be
pulling
down
the
spreadsheet
of
cfp
applications
and
we'll
see
what
kind
of
Interest
we
get.
B
But
we
do,
like
you,
know
diverse
people
and
content,
so
we'll
take
a
look
and
see
where
we
need
some
support.
If
we
have
a
gap
in
standards,
we
used
to
almost
have
like
a
full
kind
of
track
of
a
double,
at
least
for
a
day
of
Standards.
So
we'll
report
back
I've
started
putting
together
together
a
plan
and
need
to
finalize
a
work
back
schedule
for
our
JavaScript
landia
Awards.
B
B
The
tracks
were
really
well
received,
I,
don't
know
about
you
all,
but
I
like
I
thought
it
was
pretty
cool
if
you
recall
I,
think
I
might
have
them.
A
B
We
did
unsung
hero,
leading
by
example,
outstanding
contribution
from
a
new
arrival
yeah,
and
then
we
had
education,
security
and
standards.
Great.
A
So
cool
at
this
point,
should
we,
as
a
standards
working
group,
be
starting
to
brainstorm
individually?
Obviously,
folks,
we
would
recommend
and
do
do
we
want
to
reuse
like
the
form
that
we
did
last
year
for
nominees
or.
B
Linked
it
in
a
doc,
I
shared
with
you,
the
a
little
bit
earlier.
You
have
us,
you
had
a
separate
standards
form
because
I
think
you
narrowed
down
the
the
pool
and
you
all.
A
A
Brilliance
yeah
and
then
we
voted.
We
had
a
vote.
That's
right:
okay,
great
yeah,
okay,
so
I,
think
and
and
I
know
that
we're
still
we're
working
on
the
work
back.
But
when
would
we
ideally
if
we
were
going
to
kind
of
do
another
process
like
this
again
for
the
awards
portion?
Knowing
that
the
event
is
the
ninth?
A
We
need
probably
three
or
four
weeks
to
order
and
get
an
award
shipped
to
the
I
mean
it
looks
like
we're
probably
need
to
have
our
vote
cast
on
who
we
would
recognize
by
April
4th,
that's
and
that's
probably
as
tight
as
we
want
to
make
that
okay
cool
all
right.
So
let's
say
that
by
April
4th.
This
group
will
have
voted
on
its
recommendation
for
for
the
award
recipient
there,
and
then
we
will
just
put
a
call
out
today
to
think
about
who
you
would
nominate
and
let's.
B
A
All
right:
well,
that's
great!
That's
really
cool!
So
any
questions,
any
more
questions
for
Robin
on
the
on
the
awards
piece
of
this
puzzle.
If
not,
we
will
await
our
marching
orders
and
retweet
when
ready
for
nominees.
Okay,
cool.
Let's
talk
a
little
bit
about
then
the
the
summit,
the
CPC
has
in
the
past,
held
a
summit
connected
to
openjs
world,
where
the
community
can
get
together
and
do
working
sessions
on
different
topics
and
I
I.
A
Suppose
it's
never
too
early
for
this
group
to
plan
is
there
interest
and
you
know
I
I'm
planning
to
be
at
openjs
World.
A
A
We
could
there's
any
number
of
things
we
could.
We
could
dive
into.
E
I
think
it'd
be
great
I
I.
My
only
concern
would
be
scheduling,
conflicts
with
other
Summit
sessions.
A
I
just
realized
I'm
chewing
ice
on
them
on
a
live
stream.
Call
sorry
about
that
everyone.
So
what's
the
best
process
for
just
saying,
hey,
CPC,
we
want
like
an
hour
should
we
do.
We
need
to
open
an
issue
somewhere.
B
Yeah
Claudio
I
wonder,
is
running
Point,
taking
over
taking
the
Baton
from
Walid,
so
he'll
be
opening
up.
You
know
the
self-nominations
just
had
just
like.
We
did
on
GitHub
in
Prior
years,
so
they're
work
back
is
a
little
bit
later
than
ours,
just
because
things
do
come
in
a
little
bit
hotter.
So
we'll
just
make
sure
that
you're
all
we're
all
tied
into
that
with
this
group
as
well.
Okay.
A
Cool
so
I
guess
there,
then
the
action
is
reach
out
to
Claudio
with
with
questions
and
then
make
sure
we
follow
up
with
them
on
getting
our
proposal
in.
E
A
Oh
yeah
and
I
and
Joe
has
hopped
a
link
to
the
summit.
All
right.
A
No
Claudia
looks
up
spot
hubspot's,
a
local
company
to
me.
I
love
that
all
right,
and
so
it
gets
us
the
summit,
the
awards
and
I.
Guess
you
guys
just
closed
the
cfp.
So
there's
really
nothing
to
say
about.
Like
the
you
know,
the
the
content
so
I
hope
you
guys
got
great
talks
submitted
past
tense
and
that
you
are
selected
future
tense
because
we
don't
know
yet
but
that'll
be
a
that'll,
then
be
a
good
time.
B
B
A
All
right
anything
else
on
openjs
worlds.
At
this
juncture,
I
was
we've
got
a
ways
to
go,
but.
B
A
Okay,
so
that
gets
us
through
that
topic.
Okay,
now
popping
the
stack
back
to
the
concise
guide
for
participating
in
web
standards
documents,
so
I'm
I
will
open
up
the
document
last
night,
just
to
see
kind
of
where
we
were
I.
Think
it's
not
had
any
changes
since
the
start
of
the
year.
A
I
definitely
want
to
see
us
make
progress
on
this.
You
know
this
month
with
a
ideal.
Let's
try
and
get
it
published.
You
know
early
March
or
something
like
that.
We
can
even
maybe
use
it
to
help
hype.
Other
things
like
the
like
the
openjs
world
event
and
and
so
on,
so
I
am
making
a
like
dangerously
public
commitment
to
re
kind
of
polishing.
This
draft
that
we
have
for
us
to
take
another
look
at
next
week,
because
I
think
we
are.
A
We've
got
a
lot
of
great
thoughts
that
are
down
in
this
paper.
We've
had
a
lot
of
people
weigh
in
and
provide
really
good
thoughts
and
guidance
and
ideas
and
I
think
it
just
needs
an
Editor
to
come
in
and
kind
of
pull
the
thread
through
so
to
speak,
so
I'm
volunteering
to
do
that
and
make
that
something
we
can
dive
into
next
week.
But
unless
anybody's
got
any
other
aha
thing
that
they
came
up
with
in
the
last
month
on
this
document,
there's
really
no
update.
C
That
sounds
good
I
mean
it
needs.
It
needs
just
some
some
energy
put
into
it.
D
C
Whoever
is
law,
it
is
that
you
know
bad
proposals
are
how
you
get
things
fixed
on
the
internet,
so
yeah
yeah
go,
go,
go
crazy,
I
mean
put
yeah
I,
think
it
got
stalled.
At
least
I
stopped
editing
it
because
it
got
to
the
point
where
it
really
needed
more
javascripty
stuff
rather
than
standard
stuff
in
it
and
I'd
at
least
the
last
time.
I
checked.
Nobody
had
kind
of
gone
in
there
and
given
the
JavaScript,
the
examples
that
it
needs,
yeah.
A
I
I
think
we'd
had
like
Leia,
had
also
suggested,
maybe
some
examples
from
from
CSS
Slash
HTML
and
her
experience
my
I
one
idea
that
I
had
was
like
Leia's,
not
on
the
call
today
to
joke
with
her
about
this,
like
she's
local
to
me
and
I
was
like.
Oh
I
can
just
invite
her
for
coffee
or
lunch
and
be
like
Oh,
while
we're
here.
Let's
work
on
this.
A
Over
it's
a
play
date
so
yeah
so
hopefully,
next
week
we
will
have
I'm,
not
sure
I'll
be
able
to
have
lunch
with
Leia
in
two
weeks,
but
hopefully
in
two
weeks,
we'll
have
something
for
you
all
to
respond
to
and
yeah
great.
So
that
gets
through
that
action
or
that's
a
topic
for
today
and
then
the
last
agenda
item
on
our
radar
is
Define
terms
for
for
subject
matter.
A
Expert
participation,
Robin
had
also
added
to
this
just
fleshing
out
criteria
that
folks
would
need
to
meet
if
they're
going
to
apply.
If
they're
subject
matter
expert
for
us
and
representing
us
that
they
might
need
for
travel
fund
support,
for
example,
so
there's
sort
of
a
kind
of
a
whole
package
here
and
I
think
what
we
kind
of
need
to
put
down
on
paper
is
more
of
like
here.
A
You
know:
here's
the
here's,
the
overall
policy
and
how
that
policy
knits
into
the
cpc's
approval
process,
for
you
know,
saying
yeah,
let's
use
travel
funds
to
support
so,
and
so
so
I
think
this
probably
needs
a
few
more.
It
needs
actually,
some
just
attention
to
button
up.
I
Wonder
has
the
CPC
made
any
other
guidance
or
progress
on
just
travel
funds
generally
that
we
can
use
as
a
base
point.
A
So
maybe
on
this,
what
we
need
to
do
is
kind
of
come
up
with.
You
know:
here's
how
we're
defining
this
person.
You
know
it's!
It's
Richard,
it's
Leia,
it's
jewelry!
It's
whoever
are
representing
the
openjs
foundation,
here's
their
at
such
and
such
consortia
they're
the
point
person,
here's
how
long
that
term
is
here's,
what
they're
expected
to
kind
of
do
as
a
report
back
and
you
know
the
process
that
they
would
apply
or
that
they
would
follow
to
demonstrate.
Hey
here's.
B
B
Well,
there's
three
and
there's
three
sections
under
Community
Fund
that
go
different
places,
but
we're
just
gonna
have
to
take
a
look.
We
did
some
spring
cleaning
on
some
of
the
repos
last
year,
but
it's
we
just
need
to
make
sure
it's
intuitive,
so
people
aren't
do
I,
go
left
or
I
go
right.
You
know
to
find
my
way
so.
A
All
right,
well
we'll
scope
that
out
as
thing
to
button
up
in
part,
especially
now
that
it
looks
like
things
are
picking
back
up
right,
like
obviously
tc39
is
still
doing
several
of
its
meetings
a
year
or
are
remote,
but,
like
you
know,
travel
is
starting
to
pick
back
up
for
these
groups
and
that
that
slowly
but
surely
and
just
other
challenges
even
where
in
the
past
there
there
was
more
ample
travel
budget
from
companies
also
doing
support
for
that
and
that's
kind
of
that's
true,
not
not
as
free-flowing
as
it
once
was
so
cool
cool,
okay,
so
action
item
on
that
is
to
write
the
policy
and
I'll
be
honest.
A
That's
probably
a
March
activity
for
me
personally,
just
looking
at
it's
already
the
second
week,
I
felt
like
January
went
so
slowly
like
January
was
never
gonna
end
and
now
I
feel
like
February
is
going
really
really
fast,
so
I
don't
know
what
the
deal
is
time
not.
C
I
was
just
on
the
previous
topic,
I'm,
not
sure
if
this
is
something
for
an
open
to
the
Open
Session,
but
do
we
know
if
we
lost
much
participation
in
a
round
of
tech
industry
layoffs
over
the
last
couple
months.
A
C
Yeah,
a
fair
guess
that
travel
budgets
are
not
going
to
be
as
high
high
priority
as
they
were
a
couple
years
ago,
when
the
yeah
in
pandemic
I
think
where
well.
D
A
On
the
plus
side,
you
know
we
tend
to
experience
at
least
you
know,
generally
speaking
at
the
LF
more
of
like
what
Jim
calls
a
counter-cyclical
effect,
which
is
that,
when
the
economy
goes
down
a
little
bit,
companies
tend
to
be
more
interested
in
bringing
projects
externally
to
a
group
like
the
LF,
because
they
can
share
some
of
the
cost
and
some
of
the
you
know,
infrastructure
for
supporting
those
projects.
So
that's.
A
A
We
did
a
field
of
this
study,
a
research
study
on
Open,
Standards,
The,
Collection
data
collection,
just
just
concluded,
and
so
that'll,
be
not
that
I
think
we'll
we'll
answer
that
question
in
the
study,
but
we'll
we'll
have
some
interesting
economic
info
that
comes
out
of
that
study,
which
I'll
be
Keen
to
share
with
you
all
once
it's
ready
so.
A
Nope
dope,
then,
in
that
case,
I
will
pretend
this
pen
is
a
gavel
and
call
us
to
conclusion
thanks
for
tuning
in
everyone.
This
is
a
open
meeting.
You're
welcome
to
join
us
IRL
next
time,
if
you
can
make
it
with
me
bi-weekly,
and
we
keep
a
repo
up
to
where
you
can
find
the
link
to
this
meeting
at
openjs.foundation.
A
Slash
standards,
that's
our
repo
on
the
internet
and
you
can
follow
the
issues
and
join
us
join
us
there
later.
If
you
want
to
but
Luke,
do
you
mind
closing
us
out?
Oh
Jordan,
now
Jordan's
coming
15.,
okay,
we're
just
concluding
the
live,
so
say:
hi,
Jordan
and
then
say
bye.
Everybody.
