From YouTube: Ask an OpenShift Admin (E94) | Security Profile Operator and RHCOS Layering

Description

This week we're looking at two features of OpenShift 4.12, the Security Profile Operator and RHCOS Layering.

The Security Profile Operator enables administrators to control SELinux and seccomp profiles for their OpenShift nodes. This provides for fine grained controls over the restrictions placed on both the node(s) and the containers running on them.

RHCOS layering, a tech preview feature, provides a way to customize the RHCOS image used for the nodes. This means that administrators can install packages, such as hotfixes from Red Hat, to their nodes without having to wait for an OpenShift update to release.

Join us this week to learn more about each of these features and see them in action!
