From YouTube: Ask an OpenShift Admin (Ep 49): MetalLB and Installing to AWS GovCloud

Description

Using a LoadBalancer Service with on-premises deployments can be challenging, often relying on external and third-party vendors to create integrations for their specific hardware. With OpenShift 4.9, Red Hat added MetalLB, in L2 mode, as a fully supported option for adding LoadBalancer Services to your cluster. In this week's episode, we'll look in-depth at MetalLB, including the use cases, what types of workloads are appropriate, and the inner workings.

As a follow-up to last week’s deep dive, we’ll also look at how you can deploy OpenShift to AWS GovCloud regions. These special region types are different than normal, so tune in to discover and learn about some of the pain points, pitfalls, and limitations.
