Welcome to in the clouds I'm your host Stu miniman and last week, I was with about 7 000 people in the community at kubecon and cloudnativecon in Detroit. It was my first time going to Detroit, but I've been at the kubecon shows for lots and lots of years um so much to unpack there, as well as we're going to talk about a topic. That's been really interesting.

I've been following, uh you know a bit for the for the last year, but who my guest has spent much much more time on so happy to welcome the program. uh He is a fellow Red. Hat live streamer in the past, actually left red hat for a little bit, but thankfully came back to the Mothership and is working with us again so happy to welcome the program. uh Christian Hernandez, uh his boring title is senior principal product manager, um but he is the get Ops Kingpin.

Any questions that I had about get Ops I usually go to Christian. He was the original host of the get UPS Guide to the Galaxy. uh I got to meet him first time in person last year here at La, and a few things changed since then. So, hey Christian, um welcome here. Welcome back um good to see you. It was uh fun to hang out with you uh last week in Detroit.

Yeah yeah I know, and um it was good to see everyone in 3D as as, uh as they say, right, um it's kind of um you know we we were you know, a lot of us were pre-pandemic uh times where, like we saw each other regularly and then you know, then then the pandemic happened and we were I met new people virtually, so it was kind of cool to see them.

B

You know as in 3D right, not not behind the screen, and it was good to, uh like you said, see seven thousand of my closest friends out there at uh at kubecon. It was. It was a lot of fun and thank you thank you for having me on yeah.

So so so Christian, you know it's interesting. You know you and I. um You know I had about a year and a half ago, uh my group uh merged into the group that you were part of so got to meet you a little bit. um Then you know, kubecon was in your backyard uh of La, so got to meet you in person for full time.

A

um Kubecon La was really good to see a few people and some co-workers, but overall um it was still you know, challenging times in the pandemic there weren't a lot of customers there. There was that mix of virtual in person.

A

um It really felt, like things were way back uh much more this year, um but you know if before we get into some of the text and the show itself, you know Christian I know kubecon. Last week you answered a lot of questions because since I saw you a year ago, you know you left Red Hat, um you, you went to a startup for a bit and you ended up coming back. So if you could just you know, what can you share with our audience about that experience?.

B

Yeah yeah yeah, so it was, um you know what one of those things where um you know it wasn't. You know, I saw an opportunity um worked at it for a while. Wasn't the exact fit that I thought it was going to be? Red hat has always been my home. um It's it's always I've been some people say that I heard to say, like a lot of red Hatters say that you know I was I joined, red hat before I officially joined red hat.

I was I, was a a red hat customer for a very, very long time, a big fan of red hat and then I had the opportunity to join Red Hat, um and it really is. It's always felt. uh Like Home to me um got um a great opportunity um to be in the cloud services, uh business unit right, building out new uh new and exciting Services based on red hat Technologies, um and it felt like a like a natural fit.

I always told people that that you know uh I was I was an essay before at Red Hat I was actually I. I love telling the story. I was the second um openshift sa in North America. So if you can believe that there was only two of us in the you know in the United States and Canada that knew about openshift.

B

um So, as you can tell I, I flew I flew a lot. I did a lot of travel back then, um and uh you know, and then I came to uh you know a hybrid platforms, business unit that you know originally was called the openshift business unit, but no uh the hybrid platforms, business unit. As that uh that bu has grown a lot. um You know, as a technical marketing I always felt that I knew what should be built and now I have the opportunity to actually build some of those things.

um You know kind of put put my money um where my mouth is sort of thing. I I've experienced a lot I've seen a lot. um I feel that um you know quite honestly, just I feel like red hat, has um a lot with respect to um what they can deliver as a matter of services. So now I'm in the the cloud services bu, uh you know trying to build some of the cool things that I used to sell as an essay right uh to use.

Some of those cool cool solutions to build uh managed services so um yeah, no, it's it's great to be back, it's great to um um it's as uh I. Think I can sum it up as like putting on a pair of my favorite shoes coming back to it, awesome.

Look the team super excited to you know, have you back, you know I got to see you, you know we broke bread with. You know some of our team members that you'd worked with with for many years um yeah, and the word you you've used I've heard many times from Red Hatters is is home. You know it's a special culture, um I wasn't a red hat customer, but um I was a partner of red hat for many years.

A

um When I was uh you know an analyst and doing Media stuff. um You know, Red Hat was a client of mine, but you know we had a great partnership relationship, so you know absolutely a special culture. One of the you know main drivers of that brought me to the company uh was the the culture of the people and yeah. You got a good challenge in front of you cloud services. You know you're on in the clouds here you know this is this. Is where that you.

Christian I think this Cloud thing it might might be real right. You.

B

Know it might be yeah I think you know, like now, I think it's starting to uh grow some legs right this this whole Cloud thing um it took us a while, maybe to get here but I think it might be a thing now. As you said,.

um Yeah, you know I.

B

Think go ahead.

A

Yeah, no, so you know, look, and you know you, as I mentioned you know, get offs is something that you've had. You know a good. You know, industry leadership experience. You know you're speaking at the get Ops con there um I want to talk more about get Ops, um and uh you know some some of the broader things that happened at the show last week, but also want to get your you know. What was the General feel that you had um you know. I saw you know. Security was obviously you know still a major theme.

uh You know the cloud native con and some of the other pieces that uh were at the the day, Zero events had had a strong security Focus. um You know we'll get into there's a security aspect of you know your world and get Ops, um and there were a couple. Other Technologies, like wasm, had some really good Buzz this year, there's always one or two new things that I'm, like oh hey, great I, will learn about something else, because, yes,.

A

Gonna ask about it and how do we deal with it where's? Where are we plugged into it or just something we want to geek out? So any kind of you know macro thoughts from yourself.

B

Yeah yeah well I, do think that um it's I do agree with you that it is anytime I go to like kubecon or at any sort of like event like this. That is, that is that big is like I, always think man there's now I have like a handful of things to research. Now that when I get back home like it's, there's always something new I was like wow I've, never seen that before. That's actually really cool I need to look up on that. It's it's a very um I!

B

Think for all the the co-located event right the day Zero the day negative one I, don't know what we're calling them now. I guess just co-located event um um for for now, I think. There's the I think the the ecosystem built around um about around kubernetes and just the whole Cloud native is has grown just just massively. You can't really keep track of all the things that are I.

B

Think now the industry um is now starting to catch um ketchup and starting to put new Solutions out there that people need internally right there is um you know you. You brought up the um the aspect of security like the um security. You know, you know when kubernetes first came out right from internally from from Google.

B

It I think it struggled with a lot of the things that people just open source for the first time is like we built this very specific thing for our very specific use case and when you um uh and we open source that, then you expose it to all these other use cases where people go.

B

Oh man, I, never thought of that, or you know the the the the the people who originally created um the the software always think wow I never thought about that use case, and so then I you're, starting to see that a lot with the cloud native space where it's like all these different solutions um are popping up only just out of necessity. People internally is like well, you know, kubernetes is cool, but what about this aspect?

B

What about that aspect and I do think that the things like um like security is still evolving and still um growing rapidly um within uh the um you know, within the industry within just like the cloud native space. That's just you know, there's just one thing after another after another: it's like! Oh what about this! What about this? What about this so I see a security being a bit still playing a big role.

Yeah I mean last year in La, I think the discussion we had is get Ops and, like six store, were like the two things that we heard a ton about um up representing you know the six store.

Here, of course, you know Luke Heinz from Red Hat, um You Know, instrumental uh in in that project. uh You know getting started and a lot of talks on it. Even you know, I'll give a quick plug. You know red Hatters or external people watching it. I've actually got a position open for a technical marketing uh position to focus on security, so somebody that can do demos, the type of stuff you know Christian's been doing it's the same. You know what we call the TMM, the technical marketing uh manager role.

uh You know in the security space uh working with my team. So um if you know people we'll uh Post in the chat, uh you know the the Job Link or just go to jobs.redhat.com, um and you should be able to find it. uh You know it's always good yeah, so we we've got that in the chat and yeah Christian. Your fan club's here, I've seen one of the chat here. They.

And explainers um we already posted in the chat. You know, let's get right into it, get off con. um What what security was this your lightning talk or is this you know yeah.

B

So there's there was actually a few talks um that I really liked about that happened at get Ops con right. So uh for for those that don't know get Ops con is a co-located event with with uh kubecon uh we've done it. uh We actually did it virtually first, and then we actually did it in person um at uh in La, which, uh like like Stu, that you mentioned, that um La kind of felt like a vendor Fest, but we did get um like.

B

We did get 50 people to show up, uh which was actually pretty large, um for you know for what it was right for what you know first coming back, uh and um we actually did it again in in kubecon EU in Valencia, where we got 250 people and and this time around we got about 200 people.

B

um So it's definitely growing. We actually had two tracks. um uh We we had so so many talks a minute. We had two tracks so get UPS.

B

Con is ran by the um the get Ops working group right, which is, um which is the the governing body I, would imagine, or the governing working group that governs open, get UPS um so for those that um are interested, go to open getups.dev, it's essentially uh open, get Ops is uh vendor neutral um um way of I, guess: um principle-led, get-ups um kind of principles right, so it's principles LED for for get UPS like what is it?

B

What does it mean to be get UPS or get Ops compliant is kind of what the working group, uh among other things right. The working group also works on like white papers, best practices, things like that, um and so, uh if you go to yeah open getups.dev, you find out more information about that.

B

um You know members from Red Hat, um we've Works code, fresh um Amazon, um you know Microsoft's in there github's in there. So there's there's a lot. It's it's essentially. You know vendor neutral, okay, like let's kind of Define what git Ops is and we figured let's, let's do an event right open uh and that's what what get Ops con was right. Get Ops con is like an event talking all.

Right so Christian you're used to doing the you know: hey here's, the ham on Hands-On demo. Let me do the labs and everything like that for this audience. You know step back for us for a second, so you threw out a bunch of companies names from an open source project standpoint. You know: there's Argo, uh there's flux, but if I'm talking to a business person, what's this get UPS thing? Why do I care? What does it do for me.

Yeah yeah, so get UPS in in general is a um uh it's a practice um that devops practitioners use in order to um quickly manage the ever-growing infrastructure right. So infrastructure, especially with kubernetes and Cloud native architecture, is exponentially growing and there needs to be a way to manage that centrally and that's kind of like what get UPS um the idea behind gitups is. uh It was born out of like the devops methodology. I always say: devops is the culture and get Ops is how that culture looks like in practice, um and uh it's it's.

B

It's really like um a set of like principles and practices that an end user can use in order to manage their infrastructure at scale, and it has important things like um you know: delivering application um having um a central um source of truth right. So that way you have like that audit ability is like who made this change. Who approved this change, and you know kind of you have that audit trail of how does your infrastructures evolve um throughout this entire process and then also the drip detection as well right?

So it's one thing to deploy your application, deploy your workloads to a cluster, but then what happens when that drifts right? What happens when um you know? um You know a service goes down and it needs to be brought back up. um You can do that automatically and that's kind of like the Paradigm of get Ops of uh that. What get Ops gives you that manageability across massive scale.

Yeah yeah it it it's funny. The reason I said this is one of those Services. When I explain some of the value of openshift, it's like well, hey! Here's! Here's a way you might want to be thinking about the way you develop your code. Everybody knows what GitHub is. You know. Lots of projects live on GitHub.

A

What if I could have my configuration status? Just live in GitHub and, as you said it, it's kind of we've been talking forever about things like infrastructure's code, I want to make sure here's my central source of Truth, and it makes sure that we don't have things like drift, because you know so Automation and security all play into it. But it's a nice simple example of saying and here's open source projects.

A

We have this part of of what we do with openshift and one of the things I loved is when you know the code reached the 1.0 status. We already had a few customers that were using it in production, got huge value of it. Everything from government agencies to financial services. You know companies that really care about things like you know, having structure around what they're doing and making sure that again, the value of automation, security, you know tie into what what what's happening there.

B

Yeah yeah, and actually like so someone um actually just put in the chat about like devops desk setups Mi Ops, Mi Labs. Does it? Does it not govern all of those as well? Well, like get Ops, is it it's? It's not. It doesn't like take over any of these. You know Splat Ops right like devops or devsecops, or am I like it doesn't like take over it it.

It's like a Cornerstone of those practices right like devsec, Ops right, we'll use get Ops in order for um to put their security policies in place and making sure you know, there's there's you know like if you're using something like carbon or kyver, no I always mispronounce that right and you set up a policy. That's fine! But how do you prevent from someone to change changing that policy right?

B

Just because you said a policy doesn't mean the policy can't be changed, the policy could be changed, but something like get Ops prevents that change right because it'll, you have us like a source of Truth and it's like. No. You know that that policy needs to be this, not that and it will and it'll it'll switch that back up, so it get. Ops doesn't really like take over or replace any of these other practices. It takes part in these practices.

It's it's part of the um it's a smaller piece of the a bigger whole um picture of of of culture. Right like if you think about devops devsecops. You know all of that is really more culture than than actual practice, so yeah well.

That's right: if we look at what devops is you know in many ways it right: it's not so much about the tooling it's about how we do things, but you know git, Ops, being part of that overall practice, it's an enforcement mechanism. So again you know so many companies, you know I, think about Banks. You know Christian I'm old enough to be like okay, the bank, you know created a gold CD or a gold server.

Configuration and.

A

Everybody had to use that. Well, today's Cloud microservices architecture, gitups kindly kind of does that for us it's what we used to do in like a physical environment and now it's doing it from a software standpoint. Is you know my.

B

My yeah well and I, always I, always joke that like get Ops is really like things that I've always wanted to do right things that we've always wanted to do or kind of tried to do with like various scripts and and things like that. But now has like it's it's part of a essential governing I I, think you know with with Cloud native architecture and uh my kubernetes, and you know that whole ecosystem uh really made uh things like get Up's possible.

B

Right, like you, know the whole immutability of containers and Cloud native infrastructure and um the whole self-heal remediation. That sort of thing made get up so actually possible for things that we've been trying to do for like a long time. Right, like, like you, said like the Golden City but like we would do like corporate standard builds. Right, like you know like this is this is the OS and all this components, and this is the only thing you're allowed to run and we had scripts.

B

We had like things like puppet and Chef um I was a big Chef Guy. um Trying to you know you know, deploy all these things and making sure they're.

B

All in sync, but uh but now like with Cloud native architecture like that becomes a lot easier that becomes like doable like oh, this is the stuff I've been wanting to do this whole time, but um now I can do it I I kind of feel like the old man yells at Cloud I'm, like you, kids, have it so easy nowadays, like back, you know back when I was doing all this. It was a bunch of corn scripts that I ran through SSH tunnels. It's just yeah yeah, well,.

A lot easier now it's always easy to be. Like you know boy, you know got that project that I spent months on you know, 10 years ago or 15 years ago. If only I had half the tooling uh that.

B

They have available today.

A

um Yeah, it's it it's crazy to think about that. So, at the show itself, you know give us what were you talking about any key feedback you had from the user Community out there? Are you still educating a lot of people on like get UPS 101 or you know where? Where are we with the overall adoption diffusion of that technology? So.

B

um So I think now that people are adopting tools like Argo, City and flux and um and using these kind of tools in their CI CD pipelines.

B

um I find that we're talking less about get Ops, 101, I, think I think as a get Ops working group, um we've done well with spreading the word and the reason I. The reason I think that we've done well is that um I Heard Chris Wright like actually spit out the principles I'm like oh, if I can make if I, if our get Ops principles makes it to the lips of the red hat, CTO I think um we've done I think at least at least a pretty good job of getting that message out there.

B

So I think um uh some of the some of the things I've seen with get Ops now, like some of the talks I saw, was like um the uh get Ops con about um people talking about security right like how how does security fit all you know in in place with um with get Ops, and you know what uh you know.

B

Some of the use cases people solved um with with security uh things like kyberno things with uh Opa people, they're doing things with uh with Opa um and security for their own specific uh use cases, I thought that was really cool, I think I've seen a lot of security um talks pop up um I seen also what's really cool. What I find really cool is that and I wish I had more time for, but we all you know only have time for what we have for is a sustainability. How get UPS fits in with sustainability?

There was a great talk about um you know using getups not only to like doing remediation but to also Place workloads based on like CO2 emissions, right, which I thought that was really really cool. It's like it's! It's less about, like you, know, moving workloads into like oh there's, some free space on This Server I'm, going to move that workload there it's like! Well, no, it may be more advantageous from a sustainability standpoint to put it on This Server, even though it's maybe the utilizations may be high for what you know. Something like that.

Having sustainability, um that's starting to, like you know, be part of more of the get Ops conversation which I thought was really really cool, um and also one thing I saw was really that we really haven't solve the secrets problem yet right. So like the the the issue with with get Ops, is that you know you you're, placing everything in git as a source of truth, but as a security person or most people I'm like well I, don't want to store my secrets there.

B

You know necessarily because, like that's the username and password for our database, why would I want that in git and so um that problem I mean there's tools out there right? There's tools like Vault, there's tools, I, steal, Secrets, but I, don't think that has been solved solved yet in in any sort of way that people say yeah. This is the one true way of doing it.

B

Everyone does it a different way um and maybe that's the answer, doing it a different way, but I've seen um that from what I can tell that problem hasn't been solved yet um so, if for those of you who who have done really cool things with secrets and get UPS, um you know we're gonna have another get Ops con. So when that cfp happens, please please, if you solved interesting problems, please submit that cfp, but I think that's a that's another thing that I saw at get upskon. It's like.

huh We haven't really solved this problem, yet with secrets.

Yeah, well it right.

B

Good to understand you know where we are with the.

B

Overall maturity.

A

There and there's still challenges, and, unfortunately um you know I'm waiting for the day that we just say: hey security, we're all set. um But uh yes, you know uh it's one of the things why I mentioned at the top of the show yeah I'm higher in the space. You know, we've got lots of opportunities.

A

um Security, pervasive, uh you know, challenge that we all as an ecosystem uh need to to work on so maybe yeah. Maybe we switch into kind of a broader discussion of kubecon because you know Christian I love. You know, I've been at the show for a number of years before I joined red hat. But you know the recommendation uh from the red hat team is like it's project. First, you know. Of course everything we do is open source. It goes Upstream, but you know I didn't pack any. You know Red Hat branded gear.

When I went there, it's I. You went to the projects and you're collaborating with people across the industry. So you know a couple booths over from us is you know, susei and the Rancher team and our team's talking with them, and we have people that have gone between those companies. You know VMware has great presence. uh You know in open source and lots of people that we collaborate. I sat on a panel with VMware uh and Intel. uh You know the cloud providers themselves.

It was funny I remember in the early days Christian you know, everybody's like oh well, Google's created kubernetes so that they have a way to get people off of AWS. You know who's a big booths right in the front of the thing it's AWS they're there we're all working amongst each other. You know cats and dogs living together, as we always.

Know you you you're in the community, uh any uh you know how's the community itself um and you know, as we talked to the beginning, you know it's very much. There's so much going on. um I was listening to a podcast. You know a friend of ours, Brian gracely does the cloud cast and their Roundup was. You know, hey the show like kubernetes.

Is there, but there's so many other pieces that don't Venture, because otherwise you can get get lost as to like so many you could never learn all about the what's there 147 projects or something going on in that ecosystem. So yeah.

B

Yeah yeah for what I saw um and you're you hit the nail on the head there right uh where there's there's a saying right in open source is like uh same team, different company right because you're like you're working in the community- and you know same um you know, I've seen you know I'm part of it in case you don't see I'm part of the the uh the Argo Community there as as well as um the open get Ops Community.

B

um And it's and you know it's it's great right, like you, go to the Argo Booth right, I spent time at the Argo booth there as well- um and you know, there's there's people from you- know: Acuity and red hat and um and code fresh and into it, like we're. Just kind of you know we're part of the same project. Right like you said you know you you're yeah.

B

You know um you know it's It's Not Unusual, to talk to quote-unquote at a competitor only because just the very nature of Open Source and the Very nature of just like an event like kubecon, where it's kind of.

Like Christian project, do you have a battle royale with Alexis Richardson who, if our audience.

B

Yeah, no and I do not actually influx.

A

And everything.

B

Yeah, actually, no, it wasn't. It was yeah um and I actually spent time with Alexis Richardson right.

A

Time with him, um you know chatting with him, and you know there wasn't a fist fight right between what's better Argo or flux right, it's uh I! Actually, we were in Detroit and I actually explained it to someone since we're in Detroit I'm like it's like a muscle car right, like you you're a fan of muscle cars, you're, maybe a fan of Ford.

You may be a fan of Chevy, but we both like muscle cars right and it's kind of like that that same idea where it's like Alexis Richardson, he's a flux, guy I'm, a Argo guy, but we both are fans of get ups and we talked to you for for Links at at uh about get ups at kubecon. So that's that's! Yeah!.

Know we obviously give them.

The car manufacturers as partners of ours I, went out to dinner yeah with.

We're all uh for us, you know whatever bad you're in today. You know it could change. um You know we changed cars, we change jobs, uh but.

B

Nope I believe we lost stu okay, so it wasn't me all right. Yeah I, don't mind being on by myself um there. He is oh, no Stu's back is he he may or not be back, but just to kind of go. Oh, he is gone. Thank you Sasha, um but just kind of just like round out that point there is. um There is a lot in in open source.

B

It kind of makes weird um weird friendships happen, especially like I mean for me and in my in my world of of of of get Ops, and um you know, Argo CD and flux like I was over at the flux Booth as well. Just talking to the folks that I knew about um um of uh about get Ops and we're just kind of chatting away, and you know talking and you know being in um you know, uh being a good. You know open source citizen yeah, that's kind of like the uh um flux, autocorrect yeah.

So someone actually asks. Is there much difference between Argo and and flux they put glue, but it's it's really flux and, like it's really a um event diagram. There's a lot of similarities. There's a lot of of uh similarities. Only because it's it's it's the um it's, the idea was behind get UPS right and so like there's only so many ways to solve that problem. Flux was born from internally at weaveworks, because weaveworks used to be a um these run, managed Services um and flux was created with the SRE by the SRE folks right.

B

So the SRE folks um created a tool to kind of just do their work and Alexis Richardson's like hey. This is pretty cool. We should probably open source this and build a community around it. uh In parallel, um Intuit was trying to solve the same problems, but they they they solved it from a different aspect right. So where flux was born from the SRE kind of community, Argo was built to try to abstract kubernetes away from the developer. They they didn't, want the developer to know anything about kubernetes.

They just kind of wanted to on-ramp onboard developers quickly. So um Argo CD has like um has like a nice UI. Has you know kind of like that click Ops aspect of it because it was built, buy into it to help their developers on board quicker. So it's kind of like they're, coming from two different paradigms and kind of meeting in the middle kind of like there's, there's a Venn diagram. So it's it's really.

um um um Their differences are very, very minute, they're very very minute. Do we get Stu back? It's.

Yeah yeah, no, it's um uh Detroit I've never been to Detroit, like uh the the only thing um that I knew about Detroit was um you know about the car manufacturing aspect of it? The downtown was really nice. It was really really cool. um I I, my hotel was like down the street from the convention center.

So like I had a nice view of the of the Riverwalk every morning, walking to the convention center um and Detroit was was, um um was really really nice with respect to um having the conference there I think it was, um you know, there's you know. Everyone always chooses like some of these. um uh Some of these bigger areas like like New York or like LA or San Francisco right um I, think a Detroit was a bold move from the cncf and I think it paid off. It was really really nice.

um uh I had I had a a good time meeting everyone there.

um It was I found we found as a red Hatter's hard to find a place to eat only because it was so busy right and so which, which I think it's a good sign right like that it was so busy that, like you know, um you know we we were jumping from a restaurant trying to find accommodation. So I think it was a good indication of of how many people were there and we're trying to like. You know, explore the city um it was uh and I didn't realize how close Detroit was to Canada.

So I'm kind of you know a little embarrassing fact for me, I'm like because I've never actually thought like ever like thought to travel to Detroit. So, like my first time there I was like oh Canada's, literally across the water.

Yeah or like you, make a wrong turn on the street and you're like on your way to Canada you're like oh, so it was it was. uh It was a.

I thought Detroit was interesting. It's a different choice, um but I heard it before times. You could actually get accommodations in Canada, but but right now still you know you don't have to go to yeah quarter every day, so yeah.

Takeaways on where you're at you know what you're seeing and what we can look from you in the future.

Yeah yeah for sure um so I am still in the um like in the get Ops World right, you'll always see me in the Argo CD um the open source there, the upstream and Argo and Upstream in in get Ops there I I, it's really um I'm, starting to see more get UPS becoming um more of a kind of like an implementation, detail and I.

Think that's where we want to be um with get Ops is kind of like oh yeah, like that that methodology has won with with respect to Cloud native, so um I I, I I do want to see that those practices involve right. I, think it's very specific to Cloud native right now, it'd be nice to be able to um extend some of those practices to the like the bare metal world. The VMS VMS aren't going in anywhere anytime soon, um with uh with respect to other infrastructure um um devices out there.

I do I do see a feature in get Ops like going uh further to not just be Cloud native uh specific, so um so I'll be around I'll, definitely be around in. In the you know, I'm doing get UPS Guide to the Galaxy later on today, um so I'm, I'm, jumping back on on that train as well um and yeah. Look for some of these managed Services um coming out of red hat, there's some really cool stuff coming out and um and uh a lot of it being get Ops backed.

So you know so you know proving that get Ops. Is um you know uh uh it's here? It's here to say it's it's it's an actual thing, not just a buzzword, so that's kind of where, where uh where I want to leave that there awesome hey.
