Please send us your questions and concerns to questions@oplerno.com.
A
And
we're
having
an
open
meeting
tonight
with
the
community
to
talk
about
different
to
deal
with
different
questions
that
you
all
have
one.
Second,
my
son
is
it's
eight
o'clock
here
in
the
states
and
my
son
is
about
ready
to
go
to
bed,
but
he
has
a
question
for
me.
Yes,
andre.
A
Well,
we'll
talk
about
that.
We'll
talk
about
game
of
thrones
later
see
you
soon.
Okay,
let's
d,
let's
let
me
give
you
a
little
bit
of
an
update
on
our
approval
application
in
the
state
of
vermont.
A
A
If
they
accept
them-
and
we
will
be-
I
will
be
testifying
in
front
of
the
state
board
of
education
on
april
15th
and
answering
any
of
their
questions,
and
we
think
it's
going
to
work
quite
well
and
we're
looking
forward
to
receiving
our
approval.
After
that,
we
will
open
up
our
admissions
website
and
our
admissions
portal
and
start
accepting
students.
A
Okay,
if
you
have
a
question,
please
send
it
to
us
at
questionsplarno.com.
I'm
not
sure
there
are
a
ton
of
people
online
right
now
up
and
daniel.
Our
director
of
technology
has
put.
A
You
can
also
participate
if
you
use
the
hashtag
aplerno.
If
you
want
to
send
us
a
question,
but
yeah
questions
can
go
to
questions
that
are
planner
now.com
or
the
hashtag
of
planner.
We're
very
informal
tonight
so
feel
free
to
just
shoot
us
the
question
and
we'll
deal
with
them
as
quickly
as
possible.
A
Okay,
daniel
did,
you
want
to
say
anything
or
introduce.
Why
don't
you
introduce
yourself
and
and
the
fact
that
you're
up
at
two
o'clock
in
the
morning,
which
I
really
appreciate
the
fact
that
your
family
is
willing
to
tolerate
these
late
hours
for
right?
Now
yeah.
B
Oh,
thank
you
rob
yeah
now.
This
is
indeed
two
o'clock
central
european
time
here,
I'm
enjoying
having
a
hangout
the
second
hangout
of
today.
We
had
some
very
interesting
questions
this
afternoon
and
we
might
come
to
a
couple
of
those
later
and
yeah.
B
I'm
very
excited
to
be
able
to
work
with
the
planet
and
work
on
a
piano
and,
as
some
of
you
might
have
known,
we've
done
a
lot
of
work
on
the
code
and
I've
invited
some
of
you
to
come
and
help
me
to
review
a
lot
of
the
things
and
to
look
at
it
and
give
me
critique
where
it
was
necessary.
B
So
I'm
very
appreciative
of
that
sir
and
I'll
be
inviting
some
more
of
you
sometime
soon
before
the
whistling
before
our
acceptance,
so
that
we
can
go
through
the
final
sweep
and
make
sure
that
we
have
everything
it's
working
as
well
and
it
looks
beautiful.
So
it's
great.
A
Yeah,
the
the
marketplace
program,
which
we'll
show
you
guys
a
little
bit
later
in
the
in
the
meaning,
is
you
know
it's
a
thing
of
beauty.
As
I
said
in
the
note
that
I
wrote
to
faculty,
it's
it's
excellent
and
we're
really
lucky
to
have
daniel
on
board.
A
He
has
been
working
miracles
and
because
of
him
we
are
very
close,
we're
ready
to
enroll
once
we
receive
the
approval,
so
I've
received
a
question
right
now
in
light
of
what
I
said
about
the
approval
application
to
the
state
of
vermont.
The
question
is:
what
happens
after
this,
and
I
assume
what
you're
talking
about
is
after
approval.
A
Where
do
we
go
from
there
once
we
receive
approval,
we're
going
to
start
building
certificate
and
degree
programs
that
will
happen
when
faculty
get
together
and
start
creating
course
outlines
and
program
outlines
and
then
they'll
submit
them
to
to
to
asso
to
clarino
and
then
what
we're
going
to
do
is
we're
going
to
start
working
on
a
couple
different
levels
of
accreditation.
A
A
It
allows
us
again,
like
I
said,
to
transfer
credits
to
other
institutions
if
that
institution
accepts
them
for
our
students,
we're
going
to
be
applying
for
national
accreditation
in
the
united
states,
but
we're
also
going
to
be
reaching
out
to
other
political
units,
other
countries,
other
nation
states
and,
for
example,
the
european
union,
to
start
the
whole
process
of
getting
approval
and
also,
as
we
develop
the
degree
programs
for
those
degree
programs
to
be
accredited
and
after
the
national
accreditation
will
then
start
regional
accreditation,
which,
in
the
in
the
united
states,
would
be
the
new
england
association
of
schools
and
colleges,
but
sometimes
they
don't
accept
institutions
for
candidate
as
candidates
for
cr,
for
their
type
of
accreditation
until
they've
been
in
operation
for
several
years.
A
We're
going
to
you
know,
approach
them
after
our
approval
process,
so
we
can
start
work
work
on
that
right
away,
hey
I've!
I
work
from
my
home
and
I
also
work
from
a
small
space
in
burlington
vermont,
my
wife.
Right
now,
I'm
upstairs
and
my
wife
is
motioning
to
to
me
that
the
kids
are
about
ready
to
go
to
sleep,
and
then
I
need
to
move
locations.
A
So
if
you'll
just
give
me
a
second,
I'm
gonna
move
downstairs
that
that
is
the
life
of
the
startup
so
hold
on
one.
Second,
actually,
why
don't
you
show
them
the
marketplace
while
I'm,
while
I'm
doing
it?
That
was
exactly
what
I
was
going.
B
To
suggest,
since
we
were
waiting
for
rob
to
move
back
to
a
better
location
and
we'll
just
have
a
little
look
in
the
market
of
what
the
marketplace
is
so
as
I've.
As
I
said,
we've
been
working
on
the
marketplace
for
a
little
bit
for
some
time.
Man.
I
think
the
total
is
now.
B
B
Oh
okay,
yeah?
I
got
a
message,
I'm
sorry,
and
so
we've
we
started
off
with
a
with
a
recently
ugly
version
and
now
we've
slowly
transformed
it's
made
it
more
because
it
made
it
more
and
more
beautiful.
Let's
see
that
was
I'm
just
running
it
now
for
my
local
local
machine.
So
if
this
is
a
test
set
up
there,
we
can
go
through
here.
B
See
courses
example,
courses
that
we
currently
have
based
on
the
what,
of
course,
that
we
have
within
the
system
overview
of
teachers,
yeah
forgive
their
professor
doctor,
but
so
we
can
have
a
pro.
We
have
a
profile
page
where
you
can
set
up
all
kinds
of
things,
edit
your
profile
page,
of
course,
tooth
factor
authentication
in
there.
B
We
also
have
a
lot
of
we
have
integration
into
the
for
for
our
between
our
faculty
and
the
courses
of
course.
B
So
if
we
go
back
to
instructor,
selects
me
so
there's
a
possibility
for
the
course
overview
with
your
starter,
your
price,
your
different
disciplines,
which
we
call
subject
which
we
I'm
calling
subjects
it's
disciplines,
so
whether
it's
humanities
and
things
like
that
as
a
later
stage
when
there
are
more
courses
to
be
there
on
offer,
we'll
also
have
the
possibility
to
select
select
courses
or
select
an
overview
based
on
disciplines.
B
So
we've
we
also
have
an
edit
page
where
you
can
modify
your
own
course
once
once.
You've
enabled
it
within
canvas.
So
you
can
add
your
of
add
your
own
disciplines
and
then
add
other
sections
to
them,
and
we
also
have
search
which
is,
of
course,
very
important.
So
yeah.
B
So
yeah
wait
where
you
can
search
it
shoot
through
all
the
items
that
you
have
is
basically
based
on
the
data.
That's
in
the
description
of
the
of
the
item
and,
of
course,
based
on
the
on
the
title
that
you
have
so
that's
a
very
brief
overview
of
of
what
the
capabilities
are.
It's
extremely
simple,
of
course,
because
most
of
the
functionality
or
a
lot
of
the
core
functionality
that
we
have
is
within
canvas.
B
So
we
so
we
leave
canvas
to
do
what's
best
in
which,
which
is
offering
a
learning
management
platform
so
that
our
students
can
learn
what
you
have
to
teach
them
so,
and
we
just
have
a
beautiful.
A
Outside
yeah
there's,
the
really
nice
thing
about
them
again
is
the
search
function
that
students
potential
students
are
going
to
be
able
to
take
a
look
at
all.
The
courses
were
that
are
being
offered.
They
can
look
at
the
professor
before
they
decide
to
sign
up
for
the
class
they
can
check
out
their
professor's
background,
their
cv,
the
articles
they've
written
through
some
links
that
we're
creating
on
the
faculty
pages
to
academia.edu
and
linkedin.
A
So
you
know
when
a
student
is
trying
to
find
the
perfect
class,
they
need
to
be
able
to
search
via
skill.
They
need
to
be
able
the
skills
they
want
to
learn
in
the
class.
They
need
to
be
able
to
search
by
the
cost
of
the
class,
and
they
also
should
once
you
they
found
those
two
pieces.
I
mean
you
really
want
to
kind
of
pick.
A
A
We
expect
that
when
aperno
is
approved
by
the
state
of
vermont,
we're
going
to
do
a
real
media
blitz
in
terms
of
press
releases,
but
we're
also
going
to
be
depending
upon
the
community
of
faculty
at
a
player
now
to
kind
of
get
the
word
out
too
we're
going
to
be
sending
everybody
kind
of
a
sort
of
a
standard
press
release
we're
going
to
be
asking
them
to
use
their
contacts
in
the
media
to
get
the
word
out
that
now,
there's
this
new
educational
institution,
an
open
learning
organization
that
students
can
access
and
we'll
generate
some
student
interest
there.
A
It
is
very
difficult
right
now
to
figure
out
where
in
the
world
that
student
interest
is
going
to
come
from,
because
you
know
we're
really
trying
to
develop
this
thing
in
terms
of
you
know:
self-organizing
principles,
complex
adaptive
systems
and-
and
we
don't
know
where
the
what
you
call
the
stickiness
is
going
to
be,
but
we
also
think
that
faculty
are
going
to
be
part
of
the
recruitment
process.
Also,
we
don't
want
faculty
right
now
to
start
recruiting
students,
because
again
we
want
to
wait
till
approval
from
the
state
of
vermont.
A
But
after
that
you
know,
we
really
expect
our
faculty
to
help
get
the
word
out
and
that
word
of
mouth
connection
is
generally
the
most
effective
way
to
grow
an
organization
organically,
and
we
really
want
to
push
that
and
give
you
guys
faculty
and
the
community
members
all
the
information
that
you
need
about
our
operations
about
what
we're
doing
so.
You
can
feel
comfortable
as
we
develop
this
community
together.
A
Okay,
do
we
have
another
one?
What's
the
admissions
process
like
for
a
student,
great
question,
students
will
go
on
to
our
web.
We've
created
a
special
admissions
portal
on
our
website
and
what
happens
is
you
will
a
student
will
take
a
look
at
the
portal
they'll
fill
out,
they'll.
Look
at
our
faq.
You
know
frequently
asked
question
sheet:
read
those
you
can
access
the
student,
a
student
contract
which
outlines
our
relationship
and
all
kinds
of
different
things
about.
A
You
know
refunds
looking
at
faculty
if
you
have
a
an
academic
issue,
how
to
deal
with
that,
but
it's
a
legally
binding
document
that
kind
of
locks
us
into
a
relationship
which
is
good
because
it
will
protect
both
the
player
now
and
protect
students
after
you've
filled
out
that
basic
information
taking
a
look
at
the
contract,
you
are
basically
enrolled
as
a
student,
we're
not
going
to
require
a
high
school
diploma
to
start
taking
classes
at
a
plano.
A
Clearly,
though,
you
need
to
have
prerequisites
okay,
so
if
you've
been
offered
a
course
on,
if
you've
been
offered,
if
you
want
to
take
a
class
introduction
to
sociology
or
something
like
that,
you
know
you're
going
to
have
to
have
you
know
very
good
college-level
reading
writing
skills.
If
you
take
a
course
on
calculus,
okay,
that's
a
completely
different
issue:
you're
gonna
have
to
have
some
math
courses.
A
You
know
under
your
belt
to
take
those
now
it's
up
to
you
to
contact
the
faculty
to
make
sure
that
you
have
those
prerequisites
and
you
can
take
any
class
so
long
as
you
have
the
skills
you
know
to
exceed,
to
succeed,
to
succeed
in
that
class.
A
A
B
A
Okay,
I
know
all
courses
are
three
credits:
they're
12
weeks
long
are
there
summer
class
opportunities
a
course
at
a
plano
can
start
at
any
time
right
after
we're
approved.
A
I
actually
have
a
course
that
I'm
going
to
be
offering
about
two
weeks
after
the
approval
we
receive
approval,
hopefully
again
april
mid
april,
may
1st
I'm
going
to
start
I'm
going
to
offer
a
class
and
we're
not
again
at
a
player.
Now
we
don't
have
a
fall
winter
and
spring
semester.
We
have
classes
that
are
being
offered,
are
being
started
all
the
time.
So,
of
course,
you
can
place,
create
a
class
and
and
offer
it
in
the
summer.
It's
completely
up
to
the
professor
completely
up
to
the
professor.
A
To
do
that,
you
know
we're
always
looking
for
more
courses.
We
received
four
course
proposals
today,
which
we'll
be
going
over
in
the
next
couple
of
days
and
then
we'll
send
back
email
to
faculty.
You
know
the
larger
our
catalog
of
courses
and
completed
classes,
the
the
stronger
our
network
is
going
to
be,
and
I
certainly
you
know
we're
looking
for
high
quality
courses,
but
you
know
as
many
as
possible
and
in
all
kinds
of
different
subjects.
A
A
We
have
okay,
the
my
mac
is
being
a
little
slow
to
pull
up
the
window.
A
What
we've
done
to
kind
of
bridge
that
gap
is,
we
created
a
page
called
what
we
teach
and
you
can
see
a
course
offering
without
being
given
access
on
full,
complete
access
to
the
marketplace
so
right
now
we
have
five
six
classes
ready
to
go
one
two,
three
four
five
five
classes
ready
to
go
and
you
can
read
through
the
the
questions,
sorry,
the
class
content,
and
if
you
would
like
to
you,
can
email
the
instructor
with
any
questions.
A
Now
we
have
all
these
other
courses
under
development
that
you
can
also
take
a
look
at
on
our
website,
and
I
really
suggest
if
you're,
you
know
that
you
know
take
a
look
at
it
and
just
check
out
our
offerings
again.
We're
really
really
interested
to
offer
all
kinds
of
classes.
A
I'm
particular
to
I
really,
like
you
know:
the
classes
on
education
and
technology
they're
pretty
interesting
this
one
again,
the
psychology
of
happiness,
that's
a
fascinating
one
and
as
I
go
through
and
I'm
reading
the
syllabi
and
checking
out
things
on
canvas,
I'm
gonna,
it's
really
gonna
be
fun.
To
take
some
of
these
courses
also
and
improve
my
skills
and
create
that
portfolio,
we're
looking
for
courses
on
anything
in
the
hard
sciences,
all
the
way
through
to
different
courses
in
humanities.
A
If
you
want
to
teach
a
class
in
on
old
english,
gaelic
obscure,
obscure
kinds
of
literature,
that's
fine!
If
you
want
to
teach
a
course
on
ancient
babylonian
empires
propose
the
class
and
we
and
if
it's
high
quality,
we'll
offer
it
there's
think
about
the
fact
that
when
you're
offering
the
course
there
we're
definitely
going
to
be
able
to
find
20
people
on
the
planet
who
are
interested
in.
A
In
taking
that
class-
and
you
know
it
just
opens
up
our
access-
the
support
that
we're
using
really
opens
up
all
kinds
of
possibilities
for
people
to
start
teaching
courses
that
they
think
are
important
and
also
taking
classes
that
they
didn't
otherwise
have
access
to,
and
that's
kind
of,
the
beauty
of
what
of
what
we're
doing
and
as
we
go
forward
and
start
to
develop
degree
and
certificate
programs.
A
We're
really
looking
forward
to
increasing
accessibility
for
all
people
all
over
the
world
to
be
able
to
get
a
very,
very
high
quality
education
at
a
much
lower
cost
than
what
they
might
be
getting
in
their
at
their
traditional
institution
of
fire.
Learning.
A
A
B
Yeah
I
was
asked
a
question
just
before
we
started
by
one
of
our
european
lecturers
or
our
potential
european
lecturers.
He
wants
to
know
for
the
people
who
live
currently
we're
going
to
be
we're
going
to
take
our
first
steps
in
the
us
and
make
sure,
and
then
we're
going
to
continue
on
into
different
regions
for
the
lecturers
who
are
outside
of
the
us
who
are
or
are
unfamiliar
with
exactly
the
way
the
u.s
system
is
of
or
or
a
different
different
country
is.
B
The
southern
new
york
for
europeans
or
americans.
What
will
be.
A
I
get
your
question,
you
know
it's
about
course,
credit
hours
and
so
in
the
state
in
the
system
in
the
us
and
also
in
canada.
It
generally
goes
on
course,
credit
hours
and
our
classes
are
12
weeks
long.
A
three
credit
class
has
to
have
three
hours
of
contact
per
week.
A
Okay,
so
what
that
means
is,
there
might
be
an
hour
lecture,
an
hour
discussion
and
an
hour
group
activity.
There
have
to
be
three
class
contact
hours.
Usually
each
contact
hour
has
to
have
anywhere
between
two
and
three
hours
of
homework,
classwork
that
people
have
access
to
that
people
do
so.
I
am
working
hard
on
getting
up
to
speed
at
on
different
institutions,
different
countries
and
regions
and
the
way
they
they
structure
their
their
credit
hours.
A
What
I'm
talking
about
is
a
thing
called
carnegie
credit
hours
or
a
modification
of
that.
A
The
really
interesting
thing
is
there
is
the
lisbon
educational,
okay,
new
protocol
in
europe
in
the
european
union
that
talks
about
how
to
make
degrees
across
all
the
countries
looking
for
equivalencies
in
terms
of
preparation,
et
cetera
and
one
of
the
things
that
I
think
a
planner
now
is
going
to
do
early
on
after
we
receive
approval,
start
reaching
out
to
the
european
union
and
the
higher
education
commissions
in
the
european
union
and
saying
hey
here.
We
are
here's
what
we
offer.
A
We
want
to
make
sure
that
our
class
time
and
our
courses
and
our
eventual
certificate
and
degree
programs
are
in
alignment
with
what
your
standards
are,
and
so
we're
going
to
be
playing
this
really
interesting.
A
Not
game,
but
this
really
interesting
policy
issue
of
finding
a
balance
between
both
u.s
standards
and
the
anglo-american
standards
and
the
eu
standards.
And
then,
of
course,
you
know,
we
we've
talked
about
doing
outreach
in
china
in
south
america
and
also
the
middle
east.
A
And
so
you
know
we're
gonna
have
to
have
really
open
discussions
that
everybody
can
access
and
though
that
will
be
the
time
when
we
integrate
in
our
policy
discussions
with
a
great
tool
which
is
github
daniel
introduced
me
to
github
a
few
months
ago,
and
I'm
I'm
again
rapidly
increasing
in
my
knowledge
of
github,
but
there's
a
feature
in
github
which
is
about
you
know,
sharing
coding
where
yup
you
can
check
out
policy
which
is
https
github.com
of
planner,
slash
policy,
and
you
can,
when
we
start
developing
these
policies
on
transfer,
not
on
transfer
credits
but
on
credit,
bearing
courses
and-
and
you
know
how
to
do
how
to
do.
A
A
If
you
as
a
faculty
member
or
a
community
member
or
a
student,
have
a
question
or
would
like
to
put
up
a
policy
or
have
a
question
that
we
can
deal
with
or
the
community
needs
to
deal
with
I'll
place
it
up
on
github,
and
you
know
we'll
we'll
make
sure
that
you
know
we
get
to
it,
and
you
know
that's
really
important
very
soon,
meaning
just
after
we
finish
our
approval
process
we'll
place
our
application
for
the
state
of
vermont
online.
A
So
you
all
can
take
a
look
at
that
we're
still
very
committed
to
having
as
much
of
our
financial
information
online
as
possible
and
that'll
be
going
up
very
soon,
probably
just
again
after
our
approval
process
hopefully
is
completed
at
the
middle
of
april.
A
You
all
should
be
able
to
know
what
our
financials,
how
we're
dealing
with
things
financially,
that's
really
really
important,
and
so
we're
going
to
give
you
access
to
data
that
that
most
companies
will
never.
You
know
most
companies
just
do
not
want
to
share
that
publicly
we're
going
to.
We
got
nothing
to
hide,
we're
doing
a
really
good
job,
any
other
questions
that
are
sort
of
coming
around
or
that
you
can
think
of
that.
We
might
want
to
deal
with
dan,
daniel.
B
I've
I'm
not
seeing
anything
coming
in
with
with
youtube
or
with,
but
I'd
like
to
or
with
twitter,
but
I'd
like
to
say
that
it
was
that
you
can.
Of
course,
if
you
have
a
question
you
can
tweet
it
to
us,
you
can
post
it
underneath
underneath
the
youtube.
Please
use
the
hashtag
upload
if
you're
using
twitter
and
there.
So
we
can
get
your
messages
because
we're
I'm
very
interested,
at
least
in
the
what
the
questions
are,
that
you
could
want
to
post.
So.
A
Right
I
mean
yep.
I
I
want
to
hear
all
your
questions.
I
know
I
mean
you
know
cards
on
the
table.
I
know
some
of
you
guys
you,
you
know
faculty
men
and
women
are
sitting
on
the
sideline
waiting
to
hear
about
our
approval
and
then,
after
that,
you'll
jump
in
with
both
feet.
Approval
is
a
really
important
thing,
but
you
know
I'm
I'm
really
confident
that
we're
gonna
get
it
and
once
we
do
we're
gonna
start
offering
classes
so
get
your
classes
done
early.
A
If
you're
new
to
this
process
make
sure
that
you've
got
all
the
paperwork
in
infer
into
us,
and
you
know,
let's
see
how
let's
see
how
not
quite
well
quickly,
we
can
grow
it,
but
with
our
eyes,
always
on
quality.
I'd
really
love
to
see.
You
know
a
great
set
of
introductory
courses
for
people,
I'm
on
all
kinds
of
subjects.
A
A
Just
because
we're
having
this
meeting
in
english
shouldn't
leave
you
with
the
impression
that
this
is
a
english-only
institution
we
can
share.
We
can
have
classes
in
most
of
the
world's
major
languages,
and
my
spanish
is
okay.
A
Some
of
my
former
students
who
are
now
professors
teaching
with
us
would
argue
against
that.
But
you
know
we'll
be
having
some.
A
You
know,
hopefully
soon
some
chats
and
some
meetings
in
in
a
language
other
than
english
and
then
we'll
get
get
them
translated
into
into
others
that
that's
when
we're
building
a
plano
as
a
global
institution-
and
I
want
that's
already
happening,
but
I
want
that
to
happen
even
more,
with
multiple
language
support,
multiple
language
usage
and
all
kinds
of
different
subjects
available
for
people
to
to
teach
so
the
sky's.
The
limit
we've
created
the
the
basics,
the
platform
for
you
got
for
you
all
to
start.
A
You
know
changing
higher
education
for
the
better,
and
you
know
we're
we're
raring
to
go.
We
just
gotta,
you
know
we'll
just
get
that
approval
process
finished
up
in
vermont
and
then
we'll
start
in
other
places,
and
you
know
this
is
gonna,
grow
and
and
we'll
have
a
good
time
all
of
us
and
and
start
making
a
living
for
our
adjunct
faculty.
A
So
if
there's
nothing
else,
why
don't
we
just
kind
of
call
it
a
night
and
please
feel
free
to
send
us
questions
and
we'll
answer
them.
So
thank
you
very
much
community
and
this
this
meeting
will
be
posted
on
a
youtube
channel
and
then
we'll
also
have
it
on
our.
A
This
will
be
posted
on
our
website
under
a
meetings
page
that
dan
kirk
is
creating
all
right.
So
thank
you
very
much
and
that's
it.
