C
C
Bruce
Johnson,
who
is
joining
us
on
our
team,
we're
going
to
talk
about
the
semester,
starting
for
Burlington
College
and
some
of
the
other
initiatives
we
have
with
new
institutions,
and
I
also
want
to
talk
about
on
a
little
bit
of
some
of
the
things
that
we
need
from
faculty
and
students
and
what
we're
working
on
and
then
I
so
want
to
talk.
Let
me
first
say
that
if
you'll
notice,
I'm
Dan
Kirk,
who
is
normally
here,
is
not
I'm
danced
gonna
take
a
little
bit
of
a
sabbatical
he's
starting
a
new
job.
C
Armed
with
the
with
the
University
of
Vermont
and
Dan.
Is
our
director
of
operations
he's
still
going
to
be
working
with
us,
but
he
can't
make
this
time
if,
in
just
a
little
bit
of
background,
all
of
you
guys
know
what
a
player
know.
We're
sort
of
in
precede
funding
were
armed.
We've
been
bootstrapping
this
operation
for
the
last
year
and
a
half
and
we're
just
starting
to
get
traction,
but
we
also
all
need
to
feed
ourselves
and
so
on.
C
All
of
us
have
something
else
that
we
do
on
the
side
on
that
brings
in
cashion
and
helps
us
out
in
terms
of
paying
the
bills
so
I
Dan's
got
it,
take
a
little
bit
of
time
from
arm
from
us
so
that
he
can
focus
back
in.
So
we
can
focus
on
that
new
job
and
you
know
we're
will
be
excited.
Have
him
back
after
after
the
sabbatical,
because
everybody
knows
we
love
Dan
and
we
are
very
dependent
on
his
expertise
and
skill.
Yeah.
A
C
A
C
A
C
C
What
I
want
to
do
today
is
I
want
to
introduce
with
you
someone
who's
been
working
with
us
for
the
last
month,
but
who
hasn't
been
able
to
attend
our
team
meetings
is
dr.
Bruce
Johnson,
dr.
Bruce,
has
dr.
Johnson,
has
an
amazing
background
in
terms
of
also
with
faculty
support
and
development,
and
also
media,
and
has
worked
in
I,
read
and
all
kinds
of
different
venues
from
teaching
faculty
support,
recruitment,
development
and
also
admissions.
So
we're
really
happy
to
have
dr.
Bruce
with
us
and
introduce
yourself
and
add
in
a
couple
of
other.
B
Welcome
everyone,
hello,
I'm
dr.
jay
and
it's
very
exciting
to
be
part
of
the
eau
claire
no
team,
if
you've
been
following
a
plural
on
social
media.
You've
probably
noticed
a
little
bit
of
change
in
strategy
and
if
it's
okay,
Rob
I'll,
go
ahead
and
share
what
I've
been
up
to
absolutely
okay,
but
well.
First,
to
give
you
an
idea
about
me:
I'm
I'm,
in
st.
B
B
So
what
this
means
is
that
your
involvement
in
social
media
is
also
necessary
for
the
success
of
okla
know
as
well
as
your
success
as
a
faculty
member.
So
the
question,
then,
is:
how
do
you
become
actively
involved
in
social
media?
Well,
you
would
follow
the
straight
same
strategy
that
I'm
using
first
build
a
following.
Second,
follow
other
educators,
institutions,
authors
and
bloggers
that
are
relevant
to
both
education
and
higher
education.
Number
three
share
resources
and
number
four
interact
with
your
followers.
B
Now
there
are
some
other
important
components
that
I
can
give
you
two
as
well.
If
you
have
a
class,
that's
ready
to
start
start
promoting
it
as
part
of
your
weekly
social
media
strategy.
If
you
have
a
class
under
development,
you
can
start
promoting
it
now.
What
I
did
was
to
create
a
PowerPoint
presentation
for
each
of
my
classes
and
then
I
added
audio
to
it,
converted
it
or
saved
it
as
a
as
a
media
file,
uploaded
it
to
windows,
media
and
then
shared
it
on
YouTube.
B
So
that's
a
good
way
to
promote
your
class
as
well
and
then
also
as
part
of
your
social
media
strategy.
You
should
be
promoting
a
plural
and
its
mission
is
well
and
help
get
the
message
out
about
Oakland,
oh
and
who
we
are
and
what
we're
doing,
and
so
this
is
really
a
strategy
that
needs
to
be
managed
more
than
just
say
once
a
week
or
once
a
month.
It
really
requires
your
active
engagement
at
least
every
other
day.
So
you
would
like
a
sin.
B
You
are
welcome
to
contact
me
direct
at
b
johnson
at
oakland,
oh
calm,
and
if
you
send
me
your
social
media
links,
I
can
provide
you
with
feedback
tips
and
strategies
to
help
you
succeed.
So
again,
I'm
very
excited
to
be
part
of
the
team,
and
if
I
can
help
you
get
started
with
social
media,
please
don't
hesitate
to
contact
me.
Direct
yeah.
A
Of
course,
and
especially
values
you,
the
idea,
if
you've
noticed
on
the
plan
of
fee,
that
we
retweet
a
lots
of
things
that
dr.
Johnson
is
doing
or
a
bush
has
been
putting
on.
But
this
is
also
because
he
does
something
said:
is
smart
and
he
tanks,
as
in
every
tweet
or
any
message
that
he
does
he
types
of
partner
with
that
and
as
there
are
lots
of
faculty
members
who
actually
tagged
a
plan
out
in
their
messaging,
that
means
that
we
see
is
almost
immediately.
A
If
you
mention
us
in
there,
then
we'll
see
it,
and
then
we
can
also
share
it
with
our
following,
so
that
it
gets
an
even
wider
reach
and
it's
same
as
soon
as
it
comes
on
the
plan,
of
course,
that
we
see
a
doctor
who
season
and
Rob
seizes
ICS,
and
so
we
can
also
send
it
out.
We
can
also
a
rebroadcast
into
our
network,
so
we
get
an
even
wider
reach
here
and
hopefully
you'll
do
the
same
things
for
a
form
of
funny
fellow
faculty
membership.
C
Right
yeah
we're
really
excited
to
to
have
dr.
Johnson
with
us,
dr.
J,
our
own,
outside
shooter
arm
for
those
of
you
who
are
old
and
will
know
the
reference
to
the
awesome
basketball
player
from
seventy
Sixers
back
in
the
in
the
70s
and
80s.
So
we're
really
happy
to
have
him
with
us
and
it's
going
to
really
help
us
get
out
the
message
of
what
a
plateau
is,
as
we
are
able
then
Daniel
and
I
to
concentrate
more
on.
C
You
know,
recruiting
institutions
and
putting
things
on
YouTube
and
also
dealing
with
the
whole
internal
pieces
that
they
need
to
get
done.
In
terms
of
you
know,
contracts
and
and
working
with
faculty,
although
you
know
dr.,
bruce
and
linda
kaiser-
are
excellent
in
terms
of
that.
So
I
want
to
just
do
a
short
shout
out.
C
Remember
that
the
semester
starts
for
Burlington
College,
and
we
would
really
like
you
all
to
remember
that
your
courses
can
now
be
placed
in
front
of
another
educational
institution
that
is
regionally
accredited,
and
we
had
a
nice
meeting
with
two
other
faculty
members
about
their
working
on
recruiting
a
community
college
in
the
Midwest.
Who
is
also
interested
in
having
a
planar
no
classes
listed
on
their
their
course
catalog?
C
C
Looking
for
potentially
people
to
teach
or
the
dome
another
of
a
new
certificate
or
program,
please
give
me
a
call
send
that
to
skip
at
a
point:
Oh,
calm
and
I'll
work
with
you
and
help
you,
you
know,
give
you
the
information
about
us
and
help
you
sort
of
reach
out
and
contact
those
people
on
and,
of
course,
we
can
always
figure
out
some
sort
of
way
to
make
that
type
of
recruitment
worth
your
while
in
terms
of
just
in
terms
of
institutional
recruitment
in
terms
of
admissions,
as
you
know
there,
our
rules
and
and
regulations
regarding
on
paying
people
to
recruit
students
in
the
US
and
we're
not
going
to
do
that.
C
Obviously
we're
not
going
to
violate
any
kind
of
rules
or
regulations
with
our
creditors,
but
we're
really
excited
to
work
on
on
reaching
out
to
institutions
and
having
them
also
become
part
of
the
apply
Now
Network.
Okay.
So
last
week
we
had
a
bit
of
a
snafu
with
our
canvas
on
partners
in
the
LMS
and
Daniel.
Why
don't
you
go
through
that
and
go
through
with
a
fine-tooth
comb,
because
I
know
there
were
a
fair
amount
of
faculty?
C
A
Exactly
well
that
on
last
week,
Friday
honest
are
not
the
last
week
Friday
before
that.
So
that's
the
Shea
without
the
some
Keith
of
the
18th
bday
with
me.
If,
but
we
rob
knows
some
downtime
and
we
have
what
we
have
subtle
and
last
set
up
so
that
we
can
see
that
there
is
a
when
things
go
wrong
with
when
things
fall
over
or
when.
A
Yeah
and,
of
course,
that
for
me
that
was
says
six
seven
hours
later
so
I
was
a
fast
asleep
in
the
poison
time.
So
I
didn't
get
any
message
about
that
and
I
was
I
was
alerted
to
it
the
next
day
and
I'm
this.
That
was
a
friday
evening
of
EST
and
so
sunday
morning
of
saturday
morning
here
and
am
in
Central,
European
and
then
of
saturday.
I
got
notified
off
in
the
evening
because
I
don't
I
gonna
go
far
for
the
weekend
or
release
for
the
saturday
and
then
I
disc.
A
Then
I
did
my
best
to
triage
what
was
going
wrong
and
that
we
discovered
fairly
soon
that
it
wouldn't
be
possible.
Also,
due
to
what
a
bit
in
my
activities
on
Saturday
wouldn't
be
able
to
keep
myself
bring
everything
up.
We
end
any
sure
safety
further.
Was
it
for
the
whole
system,
so
decided
to
move
that
move.
The
actual
reparations
after
I've
discovered.
A
What
was
the
issue
to
Sunday
after
Sunday
I
sent
out
a
message
to
cameras
asking
them
if
they
could
contact
me
to
come
and
help
me
with
a
situation
and
then
I
started
fixing
a
certain
of
as
a
number
of
things
in
there?
Sadly,
all
my
of
my
fix
is:
why
completes
my
life
I
besides?
For
them,
your
math,
I
could
perform.
Do
partial
fiction
fix
I,
wonder
what
it
was,
but
there
was
because
canvas
had
created
a
added,
a
security
check
which
was
even
more
strict
than
it
was
before
and
in
mind.
A
A
However,
that
did
mean
that
we
had
an
outage
of
that.
We
discovered
that
we
had
an
outage
because
of
this,
so
on
Monday
I
tried
to
preach
them,
tries
to
get
them
to
to
talk
to
me,
sadly
there
of
sadly,
and
for
me,
by
knowingly
there
on
maps
in
mountain
time,
so
which
means
that's,
they
don't
come
online
until
I
decided
that
it
is
until
my
city,
my
six
o'clock
p.m.
for
me
so
which
was
and
handy
for
me
and
so
I
worked
all
through
monday
evening.
A
Try
to
solve
it
and
then
into
Monday
morning
covington
tuesday
morning,
and
I
think
it
was
tuesday
we
still
get
didn't
care
of
it
solves
I.
Think
was
it
wasn't.
It
was
wednesday.
I
believe
that
we
finally
got
a
salt
that
I've
finally
got
the
issue
solved
and
then
on
Wednesday
we
I
got.
We
got
a
patch
with
from
camas
because
they
said
they
said
yes
re
where
we
made
it.
We
made
this
a
huge
mistake.
My
knowledge
of
and
sam'l
isn't
excellent.
A
They
have
far
more
knowledge
of
the
internal
weapons
and
high
enough
to
hook
it
up
and
make
sure
that
it's
secure,
that's
what
they
know.
All
the
while
all
the
bits
in
the
bicycle
so
then
I
they
created
a
patch
for
us
like
they
committed
it
to
a
pro
or
they
sent
it
to
be
me
by
email,
I
committed
to
a
play
now.
I
immediately
apply
this,
and
so
then
I
think
it
was
at
eleven
o'clock
see
central
european
time.
We
were
back
online.
How
everything
works
here,
which
was
a
made
me
very
happy
lesson.
A
Was
the
one
of
the
big
issues,
of
course,
with
it
with
this,
isn't
so
much
that
they
did
they
they
had
put
in
have
informed
us
that
they
were
doing
it
security
updates.
The
problem
was
that
they
did.
They
decided
to
inline
a
different
security
update
within
their
and
which
of
the
first
one
would
have
been
fine.
If
we,
we
would
have
had
very
many
issues
from
that.
So
it's
just
that
the
second
one
wasn't
had
for
us.
It
was.
There
was
an
issue.
There
wasn't
either
worth
according
to
canvas.
A
There
were
very
few
other
or
few
or
no
other
customers
who
had
this
issue
only
us,
and
so
but
I,
but
added
this
added
to
whatever
new
security
bug,
they'd
already
other
security,
shaded
or
tomatoes
that
you
have
configuration
change
that
they
already
made
really
a
rookie
for
us
and
I.
Think
I'm
chronically
in
front
of
me
now
canvas.
So
this
is
austin
city
with
this
is
the
same
window.
Canvas
also
a
sent
us
to
share
with
you
so
last
Friday,
August,
twenty-fourth,
instructional,
sorry,
instructables,
that's
right!
A
If
August
twenty-fourth
instruction
deployed
a
critical
change
to
canvas
to
address
a
potential
security
issue,
this
change
had
the
unintended
consequence
of
disrupting
canvas
login
procedure,
a
process
for
a
planner
users
in
structure
and
a
plan.
I
have
been
working
together
to
resolve
this,
as
we
issue
with
speaking
and
your
user
should
again
have
access
to
the
course
where
this
was
important.
Last
weekend,
yeah
wewe
intends
to
send
us
an
email
to
the
edge
every,
but
even
I,
think
everybody
was.
Media
has
been
informed
throughout
the
challenges
on
that
yeah.
A
They
had
their
their
deployment,
the
way
chemist,
a
subtle
deployments.
You
say
they
deployed
on
once
in
a
testing
area
which
we
have
access
to
and
in
the
production
area,
and
so
probably
I
need
to
have
some
kind
of
system
whereby
I
can
test
their
protest
releases
against
my
production
release.
Yes
Athena
so,
but
it's
got
a
bit.
This
probably
mean
more
machines
and
more
work
for
me.
So
over
at
the
moments
the
chances
of
disruption
are
small
enough.
That's
we
can
for
ninety
nine
percent
of
the
time
you
won't
have
any
issues.
A
C
C
So
when
something
does
go
wrong
on,
we
know
how
to
quickly
get
in
touch
with
the
people
who
can
make
the
decisions
and
the
way
both
they
handled
it
by
recognizing
what
they
done
in
the
way
we
handled
it
by
you
know
giving
them
all
the
documentation
and
all
the
code
means
that
we
built
up
a
certain
level
of
trust
with
those
guys
in
terms
of
being
good
partners.
Yes,
hasn't
that
really
well
really
best.
A
Course,
and
we,
both
instructor
and
and
and
a
planner,
both
realize
that
we
have
fun
with
each
other,
were
there
were
there
were
things
which
were
missing
enough
for
in
our
in
our
principles,
we're
adjusting
them
adjusting
the
first
of
all
so
that
we
can
actually
ensure
the
things
like
this
don't
happen
anymore.
Our
least
we
reduced
if
and
reduce
the
chance
of
this
happening,
even
if
it's
you
so
once
every
four
years,
rather
than
once,
every
two
days.
C
Okay,
well,
that's
great.
Let's
go
to
the
last
little
piece
which
is
I
want
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
what
I
need
on
what
I'm.
Looking
for
on
this
next
two
weeks,
I'm
all
talked
about
it
again
next
week
is
that
I'm
I
need
to
figure
out
a
way
to
find
on
speakers
of
languages
other
than
English
or
willing
to
develop
courses
in
a
plateau
in
those
native
languages.
C
While
I
speak,
some
Spanish
and
Daniel
speak
several
different
languages
and
we've
been
in
contact
with
people
in
different
parts
of
the
world.
We've
got
to
figure
out
a
way
to
reenergize
those,
because
there's
a
couple
of
projects
that
we're
going
to
be
applying
on
project.
So
we're
going
to
be.
How
do
I
put
this
projects
we're
going
to
be
applied
for
on
that
have
a
great
potential
to
help,
but
not
all
of
those
help
other
people
and
attract
students
and
businesses
etc,
but
what
they're
not
necessarily
based
just
in
English?
C
And
so,
if
you
have
friends
who
are
faculty
members
who
speak
another
form
another
language
other
than
English,
please
have
them
get
in
contact
with
me
and
it
can
be
in
arm
if
they
send
me
a
message
in
any
language.
I'm,
actually
pretty
good
at
contacting
my
network
of
translators
and
such
to
be
able
to
deal
with
pretty
much
almost
anything
so
send
me
that
at
skip
at
0
point
0,
calm
and
we'll
start
sending
you
some
more
information.
Another
piece
is
a
wood
block
on
our
blog
and
our
sorry.
C
You
know
two
or
three
weeks
and
we're
going
to
be
putting
some
more
stuff
on,
including
a
really
interesting
interview
that
I'm
going
to
be
recording
tomorrow
with
a
guest
from
Latin
America,
which
we'll
talk
about
when
it's
posted
all
right,
so
give
you
kind
of
a
sample
hey,
you
know,
come
back
check
out
what
we're
doing.
Okay,
so
that's
about
it
for
the
open
meeting
again,
please,
if
you
have
any
questions,
send
them
two
questions
at
a
planner,
calm
and
we'll
see
you
online
and
thank
you
for
joining
us.
