From YouTube: Team Meeting 38
Description
Job Opening:
https://angel.co/oplerno/jobs/45173-director-of-community-marketing
A
This
is
team
meeting,
38,
I'm
Rob
skip
the
CEO
and
founder
of
a
plan.
Oh
and
with
us
are
Daniel
Crompton
and
Dave.
Kirk
Daniel
is
our
director
of
technology
and
Dan
is
our
director
of
operations
so
today,
on
Team
1838,
our
open
section
we're
going
to
talk
about
on
our
community
meeting
that
we're
going
to
have
and
some
news
about
some
changes
in
in
our
marketing
arm
we're
going
to
talk
about
our
transfer
policy
draft
that
we
found
developed
and
then
we're
going
to
talk
a
little
bit
bit
about
next
week.
A
B
Sure
I
can
announce
it
on
the
twenty-second
off
december
after
or
PM
cesano
time,
which
is
too
difficult,
adjusting
all
the
other
times,
mm-hmm
at
1pm,
in
Los
Angeles
7pm
in
Rio
de
Janeiro,
nine
in
London
and
10
in
Paris
and
in
the
middle
of
the
night.
Sadly,
for
our
new
delhi
on
our
Singapore
Tokyo
watcher,
sir,
but
in
Sydney,
if
he
gets
anything
you'll
be
able
to
watch
it
at
eight
o'clock
me
morning.
So.
B
A
So
at
the
community
meeting
we're
going
to
be
answering
questions
and
thinking
a
lot
of
questions
from
our
faculty
will
also
be
making
a
bunch
of
presentations
on
some
of
our
new
initiatives
that
we
are
offering.
So
it's
basically
kind
of
our
holiday,
our
December
holiday,
our
meeting
so
we'll
review
the
year
that
has
gone
past
and
we'll
talk
about.
A
What's
going
to
be
happening
over
the
next
year,
a
huge
roll
out
of
our
new
certificate
programs
and
an
update
on
our
becoming
a
degree-granting
institution
and
how
we're
going
to
go
about
that
so
again,
we'll
be
throwing
out
a
lot
of
tweets
and
invitations
and
in
our
monthly
update,
which
is
almost
completed.
We'll
have
some
more
information
on
that.
So
please
mark
your
calendars
and
and
plan
to
attend.
A
First,
as
we
say
here,
so
we
completely
understand
so
we
wish,
on
you,
know,
Jesse
and
her
family
on
all
the
best
and
hope
that
in
the
future
we
can
work
with
Jesse
again,
because
again
she
was
great.
So
that
means
that
are
we
have
an
opening
yeah
in
our
core
team
as
director
of
marketing
and
community
development,
it's
an
open
position
and
it's
listed
on
Angel
list
and
will
also
be
listing
it
on
a
few
other
locations,
including
our
website.
A
So
you
know
check
that
position
out.
A
It's
were
working
hard
to
get
from
the
two
students
we
have
now
to
next
year,
getting
to
a
thousand
students
and
building
a
lot
more
courses
and
I'm
also
getting
the
word
out,
building
our
brand
recognition
and
so
we're
looking
for
a
real
innovator
and
a
on
expert
in
marketing
and
someone
who
wants
to
help
create
a
player
with
us
and
again,
that's
a
co-founder
position,
because
you're
really
the
fourth
part
of
a
the
import
of
an
important
block
and
you
know,
you'll
be
involved
in
all
the
you
know,
a
lot
of
the
daily
decisions
and
and
really
creating
a
player
with
us,
dan,
dan
and
I
Dan,
Daniel
and
I
have
helped
to
create
and
the
basic
foundations
for
everything.
A
B
That,
yes,
of
course,
for
that
and
for
that
counts
as
well
know
if
there
are
any
faculty
members
out
there
anyway,
you
know
somebody
who's
pressing
its
position.
Look
statistics
or
I
can
actually
be
used
to
own.
It
works
to
spread
the
word,
I
tell
them
about
their
either
courses
or
other
courses
that
people
may
be
mighty
pleased.
So
we
we
ask
you
to
do
that
slowly,
it's
not
just
a
which
is
not
just
us
three
in
the
community.
Of
course,
we
have
a
huge
community
which
is
attached
and
well.
A
And
make
sure
that
again
send
out
and
re
retweet
or
read
facebook
post
share
on
your
facebook,
the
opening
for
the
position
and
also
make
sure
that
you
share
the
as
I
daniel
said
the
information
about
your
courses
as
you're
developing
them.
A
So
the
whole
notion
of
transfer
credit
saw
last
week,
dann,
Kirk
and
I
were
working
on
the
certificate
programs
and
the
issue
of
transfer
credits
is
a
real
important
one
and
we
want
to
make
it
so
that
people
can
transfer
for
some
credits
in
and
start
building
on
their
resume
their
portfolio.
The
list
of
courses,
they've
taught
their
classes
and
skills,
and
we
don't
want
people
potentially
spending
money
and
time
repeating
classes
that
they
have
already
taken
somewhere
else.
Now,
most
institutions
of
higher
learning
make
it
pretty.
A
Well,
they
don't
make
it
easy
to
transfer
credits
basically,
because
you
know
they
want
to
generate
interest
in
usage
of
their
own
materials
and
sell
their
own
classes.
But
in
a
player,
no
we're
going
to
have
a
slightly
different
take
on
this,
and
it
is
that
we're
going
to
first,
first
off
the
bat
we're
going
to
accept
one
course
to
stand
in
for
in
our
certificate
program.
It
takes
four
courses
to
earn
an
applet
in
a
subject.
A
Well,
we
are
going
to
allow
for
one
of
those
courses
potentially
that
you
can
transfer
credit
into
those
Oh.
What
we've
had
to
do
is
really
make
sure
that
our
transfer
credit
policy
in
some
ways
aligns
armed
with
a
lot
of
the
University
policy
university
and
college
policies
in
the
US,
but
we
also
have
opened
up
a
big
space
for
recognizing
what
I
would
call
free
arm
the
free
courses
in
the
MOOCs
that
have
developed
over
the
past
couple
of
years,
so
our
guidelines
for
transfer
credit
arm.
A
This
is
draft
and
we'll
be
posting.
Our
final
policy
online
in
when
we
open
up
our
certificate
program
is
that
for
our
transfer,
credit
students
must
have
earned
a
C
in
the
class
that
they
want
to
transfer
to
the
educational
institution
from
which
the
coursework
is
being
considered
for
transfer
credit
must
be
approved
and
or
accredited
by
a
regional,
professional
or
national
institutional
accrediting
body.
A
Just
like
a
plan,
Noah's
credit
can
be,
can
also
be
granted
for
transfer
credit
if
a
player
know
has
been
affiliated
with
that
school
through
a
formal
articulation
agreement.
All
that
means
is
that
we
will
definitely
accept
credits
from
institutions
that
recognize
our
credits.
So
it's
sort
of
it's
a
kind
of
a
quid
pro
quo.
Peace.
Now
the
next
bullet
point
is
really
really
important,
because
this
is
where
we're
trying
to
again
increase
access
and
also
increase
the
audience
for
our
courses.
A
Coursera
and
EDX
have
both
started
to
create
sort
of
a
verified
exam
system.
Where
you
present
an
ID,
you
take
an
exam
on
the
class,
and
then
you
can
earn
a
certificate
for
a
verified
exam.
Basically,
these
are
being
used
for
some
sort
of
professional
development
credit.
It's
also
a
way
for
Coursera
and
EDX
to
make
some
money
because
they
charge
for
those
exams,
but
there
still
hasn't
been
a
place.
A
There
still
hasn't
been
the
ability
to
transfer
the
transfer,
those
into
certificate
or
degree
granting
programs.
So
what
we're
going
to
do
is
we'll
accept
any,
of
course,
error
or
EDX
courses
where
you
sit
for
the
exam.
If
these
instant,
if
Harvard
puts
on
their
introduction
to
history,
class
or
university
of
pennsylvania,
puts
on
a
basic
mathematics
class,
you
know
a
college
algebra
or
even
a
calculus
course
and
or
a
robotics
class,
and
you
sit
through
you
do
the
the
whole
course
you
do.
The
MOOC.
A
You
sit
for
the
exam
and
you've
earned
and
you
earn
a
good
grade
if
they've
produced
and
they
say
it's
a
great
class
and
it's
just
as
good
as
the
others
and
your
identity
has
been
verified.
Why
wouldn't
we
accept
it
and
so
we're
going
to
accept
those
those
courses
for
credit,
because,
generally
it's
a
whole
lot
cheaper
for
people
to
take
introductory
courses
with
Coursera
or
X,
then
it
is
for
someone
to
go
and
take
an
introductory
course.
A
Even
at
a
you
know,
community
college
or
university
were
we
are
concerned
about
quality,
but
we
also
want
to
balance
that
with
the
notion
of
accessibility.
A
Clearly,
you
can't
it's
clearly
the
experience
in
a
small
class
of
less
than
25
students
like
we
want
with
a
planner
is
we
think,
that's
a
much
better
educational
experience,
but
we
shouldn't
be
creating
too
many
barriers,
especially
for
the
introductory
classes
for
these
large
MOOCs,
especially
when
all
these
institutions
have
created
them
in
and
our
and
have
invested
a
lot
of
money
in
Coursera.
But,
interestingly
enough,
they
won't
accept.
C
And
it's
still,
you
know
this
is
for
lack
of
a
better
term,
a
pitch
that
if
folks
listening
or
watching
later
have
ideas
or
concerns,
or
you
know,
find
holes
and
what
we
are
offering.
These
are
all.
Essentially
everything
we
have
is
a
working
document
and
it's
offered
in
its
most
recent
form.
So
this
is
no
exception
to
that.
A
Next
piece
is
on
continuing
education.
Credits
may
be
transferred
if
the
student
provides
documentation
on
many
of
many
professional
groups
have
continuing
education
credits.
If
they
meet
that
sort
of
twelve
week,
three
credit
hours
or
the
equivalent,
then
you
may
be
able
to
transfer
the
credits
that
you
earned
in
those
classes
towards
a
certificate
and
eventually,
in
a
degree
at
a
planner.
A
You
know
that's
going
to
take
the
continuing
education
credit
since
they're,
so
varied
across
disciplines
and
across
professions.
It's
going
to
take
a
little
bit
of
time
to
sort
out,
but
but
we'll
get
there,
especially
if
we
have
helped
drew
faculty,
Advanced
Placement
the
German
Abbott
or
did
I
pronounce
that
right
on
the
international
baccalaureate,
and
the
Scottish
certificate
on
the
sixth
year
will
be
accepted
for
introductory
credit
in
the
appropriate
discipline,
provided
the
student
receives
a
passing
grade
exam.
A
One
of
the
big
issues
right
now
is
that
in
terms
of
cost
is
that
you
can
take
all
kinds
of
different
AP
classes.
This
is
in
the
u.s.
really
that
he
was
supposed
to
be
the
equivalent
of
your
first
year
of
college,
and
there
were
students
who
used
to
be
able
to
sort
of
skip
a
year
and
then
move
right
on
into
advanced
classes
if
they
had
those
types
of
courses,
I've
also
taught
in
the
International
Baccalaureate
I'm,
not
familiar
with
the
German,
Abbott
or
or
the
Scottish
certificate
of
six
year.
A
A
So
what
we're
going
to
do
is
we're
going
to
accept
those
AP
classes
so
that
you
can
earn
a
certificate
if
it's
applicable
and
that
again
the
goal
is
to
lower
costs
and
increase
accessibility
and
allow
students
to
start
pursuing
their
own
interests
and
so
making
that
really
easy
to
do
and
in
recognizing
those
for
transfer
credit
is
just
seems
like
a
no-brainer
and
then
lastly,
trade
or
apprenticeship
credits
may
be
transferred
if
they
are
proved
to
be
sufficiently
rigorous.
A
A
There
are
all
kinds
of
you
know.
We
are
obviously
going
to
have
to
expand
languages.
We,
you
know
well
become
larger,
but
this
is
a
really
really
good
start
in
terms
of
the
guidelines
and
what
we're
going
to
what
we're
going
to
start
targeting.
No,
we
do
want
to
target.
You
know
people
who
are
taking
Coursera
credits
or
EDX
classes.
You
know,
and
they
want
a
smaller
on
classroom
experience.
Well,
you
know,
planner
can
provide
that,
there's
also
a
big
interest
in
in
the
in
Vermont.
It's
called
dual
enrollment.
A
It's
where
juniors
and
seniors
in
high
school
generally
seniors
in
high
school
start,
taking
college
credits
at
the
local
vermont
state
colleges,
and
we
think
that
we're
going
to
be
able
to
offer
for
those
students
who
are
capable
of
taking
classes.
Look,
why
not
start
earning
some
college
credit
when
you're
in
high
school
instead
of
sitting
through
that
very
boring
class,
your
junior
or
senior
year?
A
Why
not
take
a
semester-long
on
course
with
us
in
a
subject
that
you're
interested
in
and
potentially
both
get
high
school
diploma,
but
also
a
certificate
in
an
area
that
that
you're
interested
in
and
you
that
you
know,
has
some
applicability
to
business
as
Dan
said:
we're
very
open
to
feedback
and
we're
going
to
have
a
big
roll
out
of
this
and
this
policy,
the
certificate
policies
and
some
certificates
on
the
web
pages
that
will
be
devoted
to
this
and
there
there
will
be
a
lot
of
discussion
but
I'm,
trying
to
keep
these
rules
and
guidelines
as
simple
and
as
clear
to
understand
as
possible,
so
that
they're
easy
to
work
with
and
we
don't
develop
a
huge
infrastructure
of
policies
to
which
just
become
a
management
nightmare.
C
No
I
think
it's
great.
It's
exciting
that
you
know
we're
able
to
start
on
this
path
and
we're
not
again.
I've
said
this
in
almost
every
educational
venue,
where
I've
worked
the
whole
point
of
this
isn't
to
prevent
students
from
making
progress
or
to
make
you
retake
a
course
or
to
check
a
box
on
a
list.
C
We
will
obviously
have
protocols
and
guidelines
and
procedures
that
allow
us
to
have
a
book
sort
of
legitimize
and
and
have
able
to
fall
back
upon
what
students
say,
they've
learned
or
what
we
say.
They've
learned-
and
you
know
we'll
have
more
on
that
with
our
portfolio
later
on
in
our
progress,
but
we
are
open.
We
want
to
maintain
that
we
do
want
students
to
come
in
prepared
and
we
do
want
them
to
be
able
to
exhibit
the
skills
and
knowledge
they
learn.
So
it's
not
like
we're.
C
You
know
so
open
that
we
just
take
credits
that
aren't
really
valuable
or
that
don't
didn't
provide
a
student
with
a
certain
set
of
skills
or
knowledge.
But
that
being
said,
we
are
open
to
ways
that
perhaps
traditional
higher
ed
might
not
be
in
terms
of
getting
students,
credit
and
sort
of
working
towards
a
certificate
in
from
alternate
paths
other
than
the
traditional.
You
know
three
credit
chunk
chunk
chunk
sitting
in
a
classroom.
A
C
So
lately,
or
over
the
last
year,
we've
been
offering
feedback
we
screenshots
or
mostly
I've,
been
offering
feedback
with
screenshots
and
text
and
Daniel's
been
good
about
actually
showing
how
to's,
in
some
of
his
videos,
using
a
screencast
feature
and
I,
came
to
the
realization
that
that
would
be
so
much
faster
and
more
efficient
and
easy
for
students
to
kind
of
that's,
not
students.
Excuse
me
faculty
to
walk
through
their
courses,
see
what
I'm
actually
talking
about
watch
my
mouse
watch.
C
So
that's
just
a
little
update
and
a
bit
of
progress
that
we're
going
forward
with
and
that
you
know
you'll
be
able
to,
as
you
send
your
courses
to
us
for
final
approval,
I'll
be
sending
feedback
in
in
videos
and
I
can
send
those
securely
via
canvas
so
that
they're,
not
public,
and
you
know
so
your
course
content
stays
yours
as
much
as
you
want
it
to
and
you're
in
control
of
that,
and
so
just
keep
an
eye
out
for
that.
B
I
think,
if
I
think
for
that
for
the
video
I
saw
one
of
your
jumps
Creek
last
couple
of
weeks
ago,
then
I
was
really
impressed
by
the
amount
of
information
and
the
business.
These
some
of
these
things
dinner,
which
I
can
really
see
this
a
lot
of
our
faculty
who
haven't
yet
deliver
the
course
we
were
having
you
come
to
the
stage
of
that
they
can
go
through
the
final
approval
process.
That
could
really
benefit
from
some
of
these
things.
B
B
A
B
Up
for
now,
yeah,
thank
you
for
the
never
that
I'm
thinking,
if
I,
most
certainly,
of
course,
but
when
I
was
a
way
in
in
but
or
what
do
you
say
this
course
overviews
would
be
absolutely
excellent
that
we
could
give
it
em
co
to
have
it
as
well
as
I'd
having
in
our
course
the
the
cost
or
the
ruble
rub
or
Robin.
You
will
be
giving
also
to
have
something
patterning
YouTube,
just
to
give
give
people
a
short
overview
of
what
some
of
the
best
practices
in
our
within
creating
a
course.
C
Ya
thought
ya,
and
so
that's
also
a
good
point.
We
will
be
using
screencast
I'll
instruction
in
our
courses,
but
I
think
I,
guess
I
forgot
to
say
this
and
I
think.
Maybe
it's
the
most
salient
point
about
it
is
that
it
saves
time
both
on
our
end
and
on
the
faculty.
Members
end
50
I.
We
are
kind
of
trending
away
from
text
heavy
communication
which
you
know
we
can
lament
or
celebrate,
depending
on
which
way
you
feel
about
it.
But
ultimately
this
will
allow
me
to
more
directly
communicate
with
the
faculty
member.
C
My
thoughts,
and
it
will
allow
me
to
show
the
faculty
member
my
ideas
in
less
time
and
then
in
in
a
far
more
direct
method
than
simply
trying
to
type
out
these
instructions.
That
takes
me
a
long
time
to
sort
of
word
out
so
that
you
hopefully
receive
them
in
the
right
order
and
I
can
communicate
them
correctly,
and
then
you
going
back
and
forth
from
your
email
to
and
this
and
trying
to
understand
what
I
said
and
put
it
into
practice.
This
is
just
a
far
more
efficient
way,
so
I.
C
A
Do
you
guys
hear
that
piano
in
the
background
or
not?
Yes,
okay?
Well,
then,
we
may
have
to
on
that
wonderful
music
musical
note
we
may
have
too
long.
I
may
have
to
bow
out,
but
I
think
we
need
to
close
up
the
team
meeting.
I
think
there
was
maybe
one
more
piece
we
want
to
give
you
a
preview
a
little
bit
of
next
week's
yeah.
So
that's
we.
C
Had
a
faculty
member
who's
ready
to
license
their
course,
perhaps
to
other
instructors
and
I
think
we
have
an
instructor
with
whom
this
Black
team
member
has.
Are
you
connected?
So
we
are
going
to
be
working
on
how
to
license
your
course
policy
and
procedure
over
the
next
week
so
that
people
can
safely
and
easily
do
that.
Their
courses,
if
they're
not
ready
to
teach
them
themselves,
but
they
have
all
the
content
ready.
C
A
Yeah,
excellent
and
and
remember
that
one
of
the
things
that's
cropped
up
in
some
meetings
with
some
institutions
of
higher
education
it
so
them
wanting
to
potentially
again,
like
dad
said
licensed
by
our
materials
from
well
hold
on.
Let
me
rephrase
that
by
your
materials,
okay
from
us
and
what
our
policies
are
going
to
be
regarding
that
and
it's
it'll
be
very
open,
as,
as
you
guys
know,
listen.
B
I
still
have
one
or
two
messages:
remember
under
22nd
of
December
at
4pm
were
going
to
have
a
community
meeting,
so
a
4
p.m.
eastern
standard
time
and
I'll
post
everything
and
all
the
times
in
your
local
timezone,
on
Twitter
and
Facebook
and
everywhere
and
on
our
homepage
and
also
subscribe
to
our
channel
and
that's
different,
have
a
good
day
have.
