the
benefit

to
the
meeting
room,
the
Transit
Commission
just
met
in-camera
to
receive
verbal
updates
from
mr.
David
White,
deputy
city
sister
city
clerk
and
Solicitor
Department
regarding
the
collective
bargaining
mandate
for
negotiations
with
the
Canadian
Union
of
public
employees,
QP
local
5500,
and
on
labor
matters
relating
to
the
bus,
rail
transition.
Mister
white
also
answered
questions
from
the
Commission
and
from
members
of
City
Council.

No
votes
were
taken,
except
for
the
procedural
motion
to
rise
from
the
in-camera
session,
as
noted
in
a
motion
to
proceeding
camera
since
the
content
of
the
in-camera
presentation,
the
Commission
regarding
the
collective
bargaining
mandate
for
negotiations
with
QP
5500
and
update
on
labor
matters
relating
to
the
bus.
Rail
transition
contains
information
pertaining
to
the
city's
labor
relations
and
bargaining
approach
and
the
background
of
negotiations,
the
race
of
which
could
prejudice
the
city's
legal
and
bargaining
position.

of
these
labor
negotiations,
the
materials
fall
within
the
exemptions
contemplated
by
subsections,
13,
1,
D
and
13
1f
of
City
Council's
procedure
bylaw
and
is
also
exempt
from
disclosure
pursuant
to
subsection
6
1
B
and
52
3
of
the
municipal
Freedom
of
Information
and
protection
of
privacy
act
as
such.

baseline
continues
to
experience
overcrowding
issues
in
the
in
peak
as
well
as
delayed
service
with
the
pending
construction
of
three
new
apartment
buildings
in
Riverside,
Park,
Minnie's
Bay.
In
addition
to
the
five
that
already
exist,
Howell
OC
Transpo
addressed
the
overcrowding
and
scheduling
issues
that
writers
face
now
and
how
those
holders
meet
the
demands.
The
community
as
more
transit
users
join
the
neighborhood.
