A
Cheer
recognize
councilman,
heated,
Thank,
You
council
president
before
I
make
a
brief
statement.
I
want
to
remind
everybody,
well,
first
of
all
happy
Father's
Day
to
all
the
fathers
in
this
room
in
the
city
philadelphia
and
remind
everybody
that
there's
a
Gary
Papa
father's
day
run
that
is
going
to
be
on
the
Parkway
this
sunday,
the
nineteenth
for
you
can
register
online
just
come
out
and
join
us.
This
is
a
little
personal
to
me.
Unfortunately,
and
it's
been
no
secret.
A
That
I
have
you
know,
beat
prostate
cancer
seven
years
ago,
and
you
know
I'm
going
to
run
my
tail
off,
no
matter
how
long
it
takes
I'll,
be
there
and
be
proud,
so
join
me,
join
other
fathers
and
just
join.
You
know
the
cause
to
educate
or
our
men
and
families.
You
know
just
to
get
a
brief
checkup,
so
I
want
to
get
that
out
of
the
way,
but
I
wanted
to
take
a
moment
to
thank
all
the
members
here
in
this
body
for
an
incredible
an
incredible
spring.
All
right.
A
Think
it's
important
also
to
point
out
right
that
you
know
we,
as
a
body
in
the
city
council,
has
done
a
lot
of
other
things
and
not
just
pass
a
sugary
beverage
tax
right
in
this
spring
we
have
dealt
with
many
issues
and
one
of
being
public
safety
in
the
criminal
justice
reform,
highlighted
financial
challenges
Philadelphia's
face
regarding
retirement
in
stone
in
student
loan
debt
and
the
impact
those
challenges
will
have
on
our
city
as
a
whole.
We
prioritized
our
health
and
welfare
being
of
our
children.
A
Looking
at
lead
exposure
would
our
access
in
our
schools
ensuring
long
time
homeowners
had
received
tax
relief,
urge
the
state
and
federal
government
to
do
many
things.
Many
a
number
of
things,
including
to
protect
our
workers
rights,
address,
predatory
lending
and
perform
its
constitutionality,
and
its
constitutional
duty
emphasized
the
importance
of
fiscal
responsibility
for
our
city
in
city
of
philadelphia,
prioritize
small
businesses
on
our
commercial
Carters,
especially
those
who
live
in
a
city
of
Philadelphia,
authorizing
joint
hearings.
A
Council
president,
as
we
have
done
in
the
past,
to
investigate
absentee
landlords,
tax,
delinquents
and
bank
foreclosure
properties
that
are
blatant
or
neighborhood
and
that
are
causing
a
nuisance
and
putting
more
public
at
risk.
One
of
regular
basis.
That's
what
we've
done
in
the
first
five
months
of
this
year
in
discounting
the
year
so,
and
that
only
begins
to
cover
what
we
have
done
and
will
continue
to
do
so.
A
Council
president
Clark
has
always
talked
about
how
productive
we
are
as
a
body,
and
all
I
can
say
is
that
I
am
in
all
of
every
member
of
this
council
and
all
the
high
quality
work
that
we
have
created
in
the
first
five
months,
and
I
look
forward
to
working
with
you
in
tremendous
amount
of
Advocates
constituents
for
the
betterment
of
the
city
of
philadelphia
and
a
monitor
to
be
with
you
and
serve
with
you.
So
thank
you.
Thank
you.
