Philadelphia City Council Members Maria Quinones-Sanchez (7th District) and Cherelle Parker (9th District) present a resolution congratulating Community College of Philadelphia on their 50th Anniversary.

The resolution was introduced by Council President Darrell L. Clarke (5th District). Dr. Donald Generals Jr. accepted the resolution on behalf of the College, its students, faculty and alumni.

Philadelphia City Councilman Curtis Jones Jr. (4th District) introduces a non-binding resolution urging the School District of Philadelphia and the City to recognize two Muslim holidays. The two are Eid al-Fitr, celebrated after of Ramadan, and Eid al-Adha, celebrated at the conclusion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
