We

for
external
relations
and
certainly
Chantal
Fitzgerald,
president
of
Cheney
Foundation,
who
honored
me
and
three
others
and
I
would
say:
I
would
have
held
it
up
if
I
knew
that
Michael
called
Michael
cord
heating
Cheney's
call
could
not
be
here.
I
was
just
at
a
meeting
with
him
this
week,
Monday
or
Tuesday,
where
he's
always
fighting
for
Cheney

1902,

recommend
the
purchase

Cheney's
farm
at
Cheney
station,
roughly
25
miles
west
of
Philadelphia
and
whereas
in
1914,
after
a
suggestion
by
newly
hired
president
Leslie
Pinckney
Hill,
that
his
name
should
better
reflect
the
nature
of
the
school
and
the
purpose
of
its
work.
The
school's
name
was
officially
change
of

and
wise
in
1922.

D
Whereas
in
1930,
Pennsylvania's
Council
of
Education
recommended
an
extension
of
the
school's
curricula
leading
to
the
first
awarding
of
bachelor's
degrees
in
1932
and
whereas
in
1951
following
the
recommendation
of
the
Middle
States
Association
Cheney
training
school
for
teachers
became
Cheney,
State,
Teachers
College
and
by
legislative
act
in
1959.
The
school's
name
was
changed
yet
again,
this
time
to
Cheney
State
College
and
whereas
the
Pennsylvania
State
System
of
Higher
Education,
was
established
by
statute
on
July,
1st
1983
and
by
joining
the
system.
As
a
charter,
member
Cheney

became
