The Committee on Rules of the Council of the City of Philadelphia held a Public Hearing on Monday, October 19, 2020, at 9:30 AM, in a remote manner using Microsoft® Teams to hear testimony on the following items:

200389 An Ordinance continuing the Mayfair Business Improvement District beyond its termination date, in an area that generally includes both sides of Frankford Avenue from the north side of Harbison Avenue to the south side of Sheffield Street and certain blocks of streets that intersect that portion of Frankford Avenue and for which the Mayfair Business Improvement District, Inc., a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation, is the Neighborhood Improvement District Management Association for the District; approving a plan for the District, including a list of proposed improvements and their estimated cost, and providing for assessment fees to be levied on property owners within the District; authorizing the Director of Commerce, on behalf of the City, to execute an agreement with Mayfair Business Improvement District, Inc. relating to the District; and authorizing Mayfair Business Improvement District, Inc. to assess property owners within the District a special property assessment fee to be used in accordance with the approved plan; all in accordance with the provisions of the Community and Economic Improvement Act, and under certain terms and conditions.

200416 An Ordinance to amend the Philadelphia Zoning Maps by changing the zoning designations of certain areas of land located within an area bounded by Buckius Street (extended), the Delaware River, Orthodox Street (extended), and Richmond Street.

200417 An Ordinance amending Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “The Building Construction and Occupancy Code,” and Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Zoning and Planning,” by adding disclosure requirements with respect to certain applications, permits, and notices, all under certain terms and conditions.
