An Ordinance to amend the Philadelphia Zoning Maps by changing the zoning designations of certain areas of land located within an area bounded by Diamond Street, Franklin Street, Berks Street, and 9th Street.

This rezoning will advance the recommendations of the lower north district plan, part of the city's comprehensive plan. The remapping is attended to reposition concentrations of vacant land along ridge avenue for retail and encourage residential and commercial uses on upper floors of the buildings. The City Planning Commission at its meeting of May seventeenth 2016, recommended bill number 160 398 for approval I'd be happy to answer any questions at this time.
