Tanner Duckrey Elementary Students made a detailed presentation to Philadelphia City Council President Darrell L. Clarke (5th District) explaining why their school needs a new playground.

The fourth graders , who are part of a Young Heroes Program with the National Liberty Museum, made the case that a new playground for their North Philadelphia school would be good for their physical and mental well-being and would help them “make healthy choices" in their lives. Their presentation also included a video interview with the school s nurse on playground safety and common injuries.

Council President Clarke assured the students that he would work with the School District of Philadelphia and the Sheller Family Foundation to make the students' dream of a new playground a reality and that the students would have input on the design.

Fourth, graders at that energy duck curry School in North, Philadelphia and right now. This is their playground, the kids who decided it was time for a new one, and they didn't just do something about it. They went straight to the top.

On a whole presentation as a petition for that new playground in front of their special invited guests city council, president Darrell Clarke, the kids are all part of young heroes outreach program. They believe a new playground will reduce bullying and make their school a healthier place to learn. So they made signs. They did a powerpoint presentation and they even interview the school nurse as part of their petition, and it seems they made quite the impression I.

Think we can do something really special here, something that you have never seen any wealth in the city. So we want to work with you we want to get. This done seems.

Like a positive reaction right well duck, curry is rated one hundred percent economically disadvantaged. This school is in the running for a grant and I'll tell you when they wanted to make that plea. They said we're going to get up there and do it ourselves. Yeah.
