Description
Philadelphia City Council President Darrell L. Clarke (5th District) introduced legislation in 2016 requiring safe storage of firearms in households with children. This legislation is now law in the City of Philadelphia.
In order to help Philadelphia residents comply with the law, the City has launched the Gun Lock Safety and Distribution Initiative. Residents can call 215-686-3572 to obtain safe storage information and a FREE gun lock. No questions asked.
