A
What's
up
everybody,
this
is
Christian
cheer,
I'm
the
CEO
region,
Network
I'm,
here
to
give
a
project
update
on
July
26
2019
I'm
gonna
try
to
keep
this
update
fairly
short,
because
my
car
is
packed
and
I'm
moving
to
Denver,
leaving
Teton
Valley
Idaho
for
the
next
three
months.
There's
a
good
reason
for
me
to
be
going
I'm
adjoining
much
my
teammates
there,
the
specific
reasons
under
wraps
but
you're
gonna,
find
out
next
week.
We're
super
excited
about
it.
A
So
what's
happening
in
region
this
week
over
the
last
couple
weeks
in
the
community
on
the
community
front,
keep
an
eye
out
for
the
planetary
regeneration,
podcast
with
Gregory
land
way.
It's
already
published.
You
can
find
find
it
on
our
YouTube
channel
and
we'll
be
launching
on
all
main
streaming
platforms
in
August
region
has
hosted
the
first
region,
collab
webinar,
to
help
people
learn
about
the
activities
and
find
out
new
ways
to
collaborate
with
our
team.
Our
developer,
Daniel
sweat,
has
been
leading
that
a
collab
project.
A
If
you
want
to
learn
about
how
you
can
lean
in
on
regen,
learn
about
the
first
steps
about
understanding
our
github
gitlab
repositories,
the
reach
and
collab
webinars
are
the
place
to
to
do
that.
On
the
science
side,
we're
working
on
developing
open
science
collaboration
model
to
establish
ecological
protocols
and
indicator
working
groups.
So
if
any
of
you
out
there
are
of
the
science
mind,
are
interested
in
developing
protocols
to
help
us
understand
how
to
determine
and
verify
that
specific
things
are
happening
on
the
ground.
A
We'd
love
it
to
have
you
lean
in
in
this
way
one
of
our
understandings
from
the
world
of
science
and
from
our
friends
or
a
scientist,
so
that
there's
a
lot
there's
a
lot
of
frustration
around
the
fact
that
you
publish
papers
and
do
all
this
work
and
then
the
papers
just
end
up
kind
of
disappearing.
We
want
to
get
your
work
into
usable
form
into
open
source
protocols
that
any
organization
or
institution
can
can
use.
A
A
These
pilots
include
rain
forest
foundation,
we're
working
with
a
group
of
indigenous
peoples
down
in
Peru,
working
on
the
frontlines
of
Peruvian
rain,
forest
regeneration,
working
with
agroforestry
in
cacao,
agroforestry
cacao
and
Ecuador,
working
with
with
the
regenerative
cacao,
cooperative
and
a
consortium
of
American
chocolate
companies
that
are
working
towards
continuous
improvement
in
their
ecosystem
services.
A
We're
going
on
a
project
called
Walker's
reserve,
which
is
a
pilot
aim
to
support
the
verification
of
changing
landscapes
in
an
old
quarry
site
in
Barbados,
using
permaculture
design,
agroforestry,
soil,
stabilization,
dune
restoration,
perennial
crop
growth,
etc.
This
site
is
awesome,
I've
had
the
opportunity
to
visit
the
place
and
they
have
the
largest
undeveloped
beach
in
all
of
Barbados,
with
leatherback
turtles
nesting
there
and
just
an
incredible
project
going
from
pure
extraction
model
to
pure
regeneration
model.
Our
lead
scientist,
dr.
A
A
We'd
love
to
have
you
I
want
to
give
a
reminder
out
there
for
those
of
you
who
haven't
seen
the
new
economics
paper,
if
you
click
on
the
resources
link
on
our
website,
there's
a
really
in-depth
exploration
of
the
economics
of
the
region,
token
and
our
in
our
economy,
so
check
that
out
really
exciting
advancements
on
the
tech
side.
First
of
all,
first
and
four
months,
I
really
want
to
welcome
ethan
frey
to
our
team.
Ethan
is
a
full-stack
developer.
A
Who's
worked
on
the
cosmos
sdk
for
a
long
time
he's
one
of
the
leading
contributors
contributors
to
the
cosmos
sdk
over
time
and
now
as
a
full-time
employee
with
regen
network,
we're
so
happy
to
have
you
Ethan
thanks
a
lot
for
leaning
in
it's
it's
great
that
you're
so
excited
about
the
common
aims
that
we
that
we
share
between
yourself
and
your
work
and
what
we're
doing
here
at
region
Network
so
glad
to
have
you
on
the
team.
We've
also
hired
another
developer
from
and/or
just
about
to
hire
another
front-end
developer.
A
The
paperwork's
not
quite
signed
so
I'll
probably
be
announcing
that
in
our
next
CEO
update
on
the
test
on
that
side
of
things,
we
have
a
live
test
net
that
validators
can
come
and
join
right.
Now
we
are
going
to
be
converting
that
test
net
this
next
week
into
an
incentivized
test
net.
Well
right,
you're,
actually
able
to
earn
points
and
be
able
to
claim
regen
tokens
when
the
live
net
when
the
main
net
goes
live.
A
So
if
you're,
a
validator
on
proof
of
stake
chains
come
and
join
us
earn
regen
tokens
tokens
and
help
us
secure
our
network.
We
now
have
a
regen
network
version
of
Lunia
and
a
live
block
Explorer
for
this
tech
test
net,
and
we
want
to
thank
all
the
validators
who
are
already
participating
just
a
few
of
those
to
mention.
Welcome
to
I
on
Krypton
comercio
network
chain
layer,
figment
chorus,
one
master
node
and
many
others
that
have
joined
us
on
that.
What
network
I
really
appreciate
it?
A
I'm
going
to
continue
packing
heading
down
towards
Denver
I
want
to
thank
my
cousin
Kelson,
who
donated
these
regen
network
hats
to
our
project.
He
runs
a
company
called
we,
the
trees
dot-com.
If
you're
looking
for
some
really
cool
hats
check
it
out,
I,
don't
think
they
have
the
regen
Network
hats
up
there
yet,
but
I
should
encourage
him
to
do
that.
Thanks
a
lot.
Everyone
we'll
see
you
in
Denver.
