D
Hi
all
right
yay
welcome,
welcome,
welcome
all
right
so
on
on
the
call
we've
got
a
couple
of
lead,
validators
and
then
a
validator
who
is
leading
a
really
important
process
around
communities
taking
down
and
engagement
with
indigenous
communities.
So
I'd
love
to
just
start
the
session
off,
maybe
passing
it
over
to
anil
to
introduce
yourself
and
you
know
and
and
the
work
that
vitwit's
doing
and
and
maybe
tell
us
a
little
bit
about
your
role
over
the
past
couple
of
years.
D
You've
been
working
on
region
network
for
a
really
long
time.
So
just
give
us
a
little
introduction
on
you
and
then
you
can
pass
the
baton
over
to
mircha.
B
Yeah,
hello,
everyone,
so
I'm
anil
cto
at
witwit.
First
of
all
use
congratulations
to
regen
team
and
then
amazing
community,
here
on
the
successful
main
at
launch,
so
like
less
than
10
seconds
is
really
it's.
It's
an
achievement
for
the
community
and
and
I'm
really
happy
for
coordinating
on
that
and
yeah.
So
bitwit
is
a
technology
consulting
and
services
company
from
india.
We
bootstrapped
this
in
2015
and
we
started
collaborating
with
you
know:
cosmos
ecosystem
from
2018,
and
then
we
met
aron
and
gregory
and
started
working
closely
with
the
region
network
from
there.
B
Initially
we
started
with
validator
support
and
then
later
we
started
supporting
on
cosmos,
development
and
region
development
as
well,
and
we
are
one
of
the
lead
validators
on
region,
network
and
yeah.
We
are
now
hosting
our
own
explorer
anika,
and
then
we
manage
the
leaderboard
as
well
yeah.
So
that's
pretty
much
so
before.
D
Before
you
pass
it
on
anil,
do
you
mind
just
sharing
a
little
bit
about
where
you're
from?
And
you
know
I
remember
in
some
of
our
early
conversations
you
and
your
your
colleague
mirti
were
explaining
that
you
came
from
an
agricultural
background
and
yeah
are
passionate
from
that
perspective.
So
do
you
mind
just
telling
us
just
a
little
bit
about
that
side
of
things.
B
Yes,
so
we
like,
we
are
three
co-founders
here,
so
we
met
in
college
and
we
started
to
you
know
we
thought
of
starting
a
company
to
bring
innovation,
and
you
know
technology
innovation
in
our
rural
areas,
especially
in
agriculture,
and
that's
why
we
started
with
it
and
we
three
our
agricultural
background
and
we
were
building
some
tools
in
ai
to
you
know,
help
farmers
to
identify
the
diseases
and
you
know
suggest
some
remedies
yeah,
that's
where
we
started
and
then
yeah
it
was,
you
know,
exciting,
to
see
the
vision
of
region
network
and
then
the
day
we
we
saw
this
and
then
we
wanted
to
be
part
of
this
and
yeah.
D
Yeah
great,
thank
you
o'neal.
Would
you
like
to
give
us
a
quick
introduction
as
well
yeah
to
yourself.
C
So
my
name
is
I'll
start
with
where
I'm
from
from
south
from
southeast
europe
in
romania,
where
I've
spent
a
bunch
of
my
childhood
on
a
farm
on
a
farm.
C
So
I
get
some
echo
down
from
there
to
computers,
which
is
how
I
ended
up,
knowing
all
of
you
guys,
knowing
all
of
you
guys.
I've
been
involved
before
blockchain
and
the
financial
industry
and
I.t
services.
Industry
development,
your
usual
your
usual
technology
circles,
but
I
did
land
into
blockchain
in
2017
and
I
think
I
met
gregory
in
2018
in
berlin,
where
it
was
the
first
time
I've
heard
about
regen,
and
it
immediately
appeals
me
as
I
never
even
thought
before,
that
something
like
agriculture
and
computer
systems
can
mix
at
all.
C
But
since
I've
informed
myself
quite
a
lot
and
I've
become
a
very
big
fan,
I
am
a
pretty
big
eco
geek.
So
it's
it
speaks
to
me
personally.
It
speaks
to
informal
systems.
The
company
that
I'm
part
of
so
ethan
has
spoken
earlier
in
the
in
the
cast.
So
it's
hard
to
follow
anything.
C
He
says
he's
a
oh
he's
such
a
great
speaker,
so
I'm
not
going
to
cover
any
much
of
that,
but
we
are
always
looking
into
local
solutions
to
today's
big
problems,
and
the
region
certainly
is
a
big
part
of
the
ecological
side
of
that.
C
As
for
informal
systems
and
the
falpod
are
the
partnership
and
the
validator
that's
currently
running
on
mainnet,
we
are
running
on
cosmos
hub.
A
validator
region
is
our
first
other
mainnet,
but
we've
been
involved
in
developing
the
cosmos,
sdk
ivc
and
testing
various
other
networks
and
running
test
nets
for
a
lot
of
other
organizations
throughout
the
past
five
to
six
years.
C
D
Awesome
thanks,
mr
and
I
just
to
shout
out
that
informal
systems
is
a
worker-owned
co-op,
which
is
is
pretty
cool.
So
patrick,
would
you
mind
giving
us
a
a
little
introduction
as
well
to
to
you
and
your
work
where
you're
coming
from
and
your.
A
Okay,
we,
where
do
I
come
from
right
now,
I'm
I'm
on
the
edge
of
the
amazon.
I
grew
up
on
the
gulf
coast
of
texas.
My
mom
grew
up
in
south
america
and
my
grandparents
grew
up
in
england
and
different
parts
of
the
u.s
and
who
knows
before
that.
A
I
think
so
what
draws
me
here
a
few
years
ago,
like
15
years
ago,
I
was
talking
to
a
friend
of
mine
and
thinking
about
like
okay.
So
what
am
I
going
to
do
with
this
next
phase
of
my
life
and
I
made
a
list
of
possibilities,
and
I
was
like
thinking
okay
well,
this
this
one
seems
like
it'll
earn
me
more
money.
This
one
seems
more
fun
this
one
I
tried.
A
I
was
trying
to
qualify
and
quantify
things
and
at
the
bottom
of
that
list
I
wrote
something
with
gregory
and
it
was
unquantifiable,
but
that
it
just
it
keeps
happening
that
in
life
we
we
keep
encountering
each
other
and
inviting
each
other
into
things
and
creating
creating
what
we
what
we're
imagining
so
yeah.
A
I
I
grew
up
in
near
houston
and
there
are
more
than
30
refineries
in
houston,
but
I
had
the
the
privilege
and
the
honor
of
growing
up
in
in
on
the
edge
of
it
where
there
are.
A
Bald
eagles
had
gone
extinct
as
well
as
alligators
on
bison
and
the
alligators,
and
the
bald
eagles
are
back
getting
bison
back
roaming
across
north
america
will
be
a
another
challenge,
but
so
I
know
it's
possible
when
we
change
policy
and
when
the
incentives
are
aligned,
it's
possible
and
now
I'm
family.
A
My
now,
I'm
in
ecuador
and
my
family
through
marriage
lives
in
the
forest
in
the
amazon
rainforest
along
the
shores
of
the
pastasa
river
as
part
of
the
achoir
nation
in
ecuador,
and
the
possibility
for
protecting
and
and
continuing
to
evolve
that
way
of
life
is
immense
and
the
threats
to
that
way
of
life
are
also
immense.
I
mean
the
the
the
pandemic
has
only
served
as
an
excuse
for
deforestation
to
accelerate
and
the
the
possibility
to
to
say
all
right.
A
I'm
going
to
combine
what
I
know
about
supporting
indigenous
and
and
community
organizations
with
digital
security,
which
is
something
I've
been
doing
for
a
few
years,
and
the
ecological
and
social
design
needed
to
to
create
this
sort
of
integral
well-being
and
here's
this
opportunity
to
run
a
validator
node
and
to
help
get
the
community
staking
now
going
of
we,
we
have
a
chance
from
the
design
of
this
system
to
participate
in
in
shaping
it,
and
that
to
me
is
what
sets
regen
network
apart
from
from
so
many
other
things.
A
This
intentional
setting
aside
of
30
of
the
tokens
for
the
community
staking
dow.
So
I'm
to
me,
it's
like.
I
can't
just
sit
back
and
and
watch
the
the
landscapes
that
my
family
depends
on
just
wash
away.
Gotta
do
something
otherwise
the
just
like
despair
and
anger
will
eat
me.
A
So
I
think
this
is
an
amazing
opportunity
and
also
just
the
the
fact
that,
like
I
I
started,
I
I've
been
involved
in
the
conversations
for
years
and
years,
but
I
didn't
get
involved
with
the
blockchain
until
february
and
now
the
the
validator
that
I've
helped
cohere
a
team
around
with
will
gardner
who
works
at
our
sci
and
another
friend
who
who
has
a
lot
of
tech
experience
here
in
ecuador,
we're
like
we're
running
a
validator
close
to
the
same
ranking
as
the
people
who
invented
cosmos
sdk.
A
It's
like
what
this
is.
This
is
amazing
and
I
think
that's
a
demonstrates.
The
decentralization
and
the
openness
of
if,
if
you're,
willing
and
able
to
put
the
time
in
and
and
get
this
going,
the
door
is
is
open
and
our
hope
for
this
validator
is
that
it
will
provide
us
also
with
funding,
so
that
we
we've
got
some
wiggle
room
to
to
get
the
community
staking
now
going
and
to
get
projects
here,
going
having
having
a
bit
more
funding
to
be
able
to
say
like
okay,
we
won't.
A
We
want
to
have
a
meeting
about
the
possibilities
of
regen
network.
Well,
we've
got
that
covered,
we've
got
the
transportation
costs
covered,
we've
got
some
food
costs
covered,
so
the
idea
is
that
running
the
validator
can
can
be
a
bootstrap
into
making
regen
network
practically
useful
and
having
a
real
impact
here.
D
D
I'm
just
noticing
psy
the
ceo
of
crowdcast
is
is
here
in
our
watching
in
the
stream
and
hey
sai
and
he's
just.
We
have
mutual
friends
and
he's
so
it's
just
a
small
world.
You
know
that
and
I
think
the
launch,
from
my
perspective,
the
launch
of
our
blockchain
of
regent,
ledger
and
region
network.
D
At
this
moment,
I'm
just
hopeful
that
it's
basically
a
magnetic
attractor
for
the
kind
of
creative
engagement
and
as
you're
speaking
about
patrick
the
kind
of
micro
funding
of
just
like
the
little
bits
of
initiative
that
need
to
take
place
for
people
to
solve
their
own
problems.
I
think
is
just
really
core
to
what
we're
trying
to
create
here.
D
So
I
would
love
to
just
do
a
quick
go
around
with
each
of
you
getting
to
just
kind
of
share
just
a
little
bit
about
as
a
validator
right
you're
serving
as
a
pillar
of
this
community
and
in
this
community.
This
community
specifically
is
trying
to
bridge
ecological
regeneration
with
financial
market.
D
It's
trying
to
use
cutting-edge
technology
like
remote,
fencing
and
ai
and
blockchain
to
empower
soil
regeneration
and
biodiversity
preservation,
and
these
things
so
just
take
that
take
a
moment
to
I'd
love
for
everybody
to
just
take
a
moment
to
share
how
you're
holding
your
role
as
a
validator
and
what
you're
excited
to
be
to
be
sort
of
innovating
or
bringing
into
the
world
with
regen
network.
Is
there
something
that
you're
envisioning
beyond
sort
of
participating
in
governance
and
security,
which
is
you
know,
by
far
sort
of
it's
like
the
foundational
role?
D
B
Yes,
so
it's
a
default,
you
know
responsibility
of
validator
to
participate
in
ordinance
and
then
you
know
secure
the
network,
but
as
a
validator
on
region
network
it
it
gives
extra
possibilities.
I
know
to
build
other
certain
tools
for
this.
I
know
this
agriculture
and
other
businesses
and
then
yeah.
B
D
I
was
just
going
to
say:
informal
is
really
passionate
about
relocalization
worker
ownership,
accounting,
there's
sort
of
a
bunch
of
things
that
you
all
are
working
on.
Do
you
do
you
all
have
any
I
mean,
and
I
and
I
know,
you're
working
really
hard
on
ibc
and
other
things.
Do
you
have
a
intuition
about
how
some
of
your
research
and
development
work
at
informal
is
may
intersect?
With
the
you
know,
this
sort
of
attempt
to
unify
the
the
biosphere
and
the
technosphere
at
regen
network.
C
Well,
the
work
informal
does
on
the
research
and
development
side
is
so
far
purely
focused
on
the
technological
side.
Formal
software
verification
is,
is
definitely
going
to
help
as
soon
as
new
solutions
are
imagined
on
the
region
network
and
beyond.
So
as
you
were
talking
about
remote
sensing
and
ai,
hopefully
what
we
here
at
informal
are
working
on
will
be,
I
guess,
the
the
qa.
You
could
call
it
or
beyond
that
the
testing
methodology
to
put
all
of
the
software
through
its
paces
and
make
sure
that
it
works.
C
C
As
neil
mentioned,
getting
a
carbon
validator,
that's
carbon
neutral
at
first,
it's
going
to
be
possible
for
buying
credits,
but
I
would
certainly
hope
that
it
extends
to
actually
getting
the
green
energy
suppliers
in
the
area
to
support
efforts
like
ours,
also
at
least
where
I'm
at
in
ontario
there's
a
huge
community
of
farmers
that
I'm
not
sure
have
actually
been
in
touch
with
anything
that
we've
been
talking
about
here
today,
or
at
least
I've
not
been
in
touch
with
their
knowledge.
C
A
C
Any
time
I
have
to
for
a
personal
project,
I'm
going
to
look
into
developing
any
sort
of
idea
that
I
have
onto
the
region
platform
and
beyond,
but,
like
I
said,
we
were
short
on
manpower,
hopefully
being
in
the
region.
Network
will
also
attract
some
more
ecologically
minded
people
towards
us
and
that
even
just
that
would
be
a
a
great
benefit
but
yeah
looking
forward
to
saving
the
planet
together
and
all
the
captain
planet
means,
which
is
definitely
something
only
regen
has.
D
Yeah
definitely
patrick
yeah.
I
would
love
you
know,
just
if
you,
if
you're,
if
you're,
feel
willing
and
able
to
a
little
bit
of
a
concrete
vision
for
what
you
would
like
to
do
there
with
achwar
nation,
and
you
know
community
staking
daos,
and
you
know
what
what
that
community
is
needing
and
how
you're
hoping
to
sort
of
bring
region
network
together
to
help
support
that
taking
place.
A
A
couple
days
ago,
somebody
came
to
me
and
said
patrick,
the
municipal
government's
at
the
base
of
the
mountain.
That's
up
in
the
andes,
like
a
three-hour
drive
from
here,
there's
24
000
hectares
that
they
want
to
reforest.
A
Do
you
know
where
we
can
get
money
to
do
that
and,
like
the
communities
are
on
board,
the
local
governments
are
on
board
so
to
me
so
that
when
my
wife's
community,
which
may
become
my
community,
like
I
may
actually,
we
may
go
live
there.
Is
that
where
there
are
no
roads,
there
are
only
roads
on
one
little
edge
of
achowa
territory.
A
A
A
We
know
how
to
live
with
just
a
machete,
and
I
can
like
all
of
my
brother-in-law's
and
my
wife
can
just
walk
out
into
the
jungle
with
a
machete
and
they're
fine
for
weeks
at
a
time
and
that
then,
but
there
are
things
that
are
attractive
to
have
and
when
a
system
is
set
up
where
people
can
only
have
the
things
they
see
if
they're
willing
to
sell
part
of
their
territory
if
they're
willing
to
cut
down
the
trees
in
a
in
a
non-careful
way,
because
there
are
careful
ways.
A
A
Part
of
that
income
from
the
forest
itself
could
be
used,
for
example,
to
support
to
give
seed
support
for
organic
family
farm
agricultural
cooperatives
up
in
the
mountains,
so
that
the
pasta
river
stops
getting
polluted
and
the
fish
that
people
eat.
Downriver
are
no
longer
toxic,
so
things
like
that
of
once
once
there's
money
in
the
hands
of
people,
then
we
can
create
these
financial
agreements
to
build
up
bioregional
health
connecting
the
rivers
with
the
forest
with
the
mountains.
A
So
that's
one
example
another
another
piece
is
that
just
looking
at
the
experience
of
projects
that
have
already
happened
here,
because
there's
always
projects
going
on,
there's
always
people
looking
to
fund
something,
but
the
the
two
big
questions
are
accountability
and
impact,
and
when
a
community
has
a
strong
vision.
What
I've
seen
here
and
in
other
places
in
the
u.s
in
ecuador
in
argentina
and
other
places,
is
when
the
community
has
a
strong
vision,
then
the
money
can
come
in
can
be
budgeted
to
effectively
for
that
vision
and
people
will
hold
the
leaders
accountable.
A
A
Maybe
the
like
the
leaders
of
of
the
time
dis
took
it
and
did
something
with
it.
Maybe
the
government
never
actually
handed
it
over
the
people
on
the
ground,
don't
know
where
that
10
million
dollars
is
so
to
to
me.
The
the
concrete
thing
is:
if,
if
I
go
to
my
brother-in-law
today
and
say
hey
it's
time
like,
let's,
how
can
we
stop
cutting
down
the
forest?
A
One
of
the
answers
is
well
great.
How
can
I
buy
my
kids
some
shoes
so
when
and
there's
there's
pl
there's
money
enough
to
do
these
things?
The
question
is
how
we
allocate
the
money
and
how
we
hold
a
collective
vision
as
a
community
and
move
towards
it.
A
So
to
me,
regen
network
and
this
this
whole
tendermint
on
blockchain
and
digital
consensus
tools
is
really
interesting,
because
it's
exactly
that
like
how
do
we
reach
consensus
and
govern
things
and
have
accountability,
but
at
the
same
time,
flexibility
and
these
tools
are
completely
irrelevant
in
a
place
where,
where
people
the
these
tools
are
not
in
their
language,
they
depend
on
digital
infrastructure
and
networks
and
connectivity
and
devices
that
aren't
there.
A
A
A
On
a
bootstring
budget,
then
there's
more
time
and
capacity
to
go
and
have
a
political
influence
and
say
we
need
to
change
policy
and
we
need
to
change
enforcement
so
that
that
river
isn't
getting
contaminated
anymore
or
maybe
there
are
other
possibilities
edit.
So
I
I
don't
know
if
that
was
concrete
enough.
D
That's
great.
That
was
great.
I
know
we
could
maybe
mute.
I
think,
there's
a
little
feedback.
I
know
we
could
sort
of
go
deeper
in
each
case,
but
I
think
it's.
D
D
If
you
haven't
already
started
staking
your
region
and
you've
been
sort
of
waiting
for
a
tutorial,
we're
going
to
use
this
to
walk
people
through
so
dan,
our
community
manager
is
going
to
do
a
walkthrough
on
that.
So
anil
mircha
patrick,
really
grateful
for
your
leadership,
each
of
you
and
the
community
anil,
especially
thank
you
for
the
amazing
heavy
lifting
that
you've
been
doing
for
years.
Getting
regen
ledger
up
and
running.
D
So
thank
you
and
yeah
see
you
all
on
the
interwebs
and
thanks
so
much
for
being
a
part
of
regen
network.
