Scientific
research
proves
that
building
soil
sequesters
atmospheric
carbon.
In
fact,
we
could
become
carbon
neutral
by
increasing
soil
carbon
by
just
0.4
a
year,
building
healthy
soil,
not
only
replenishes
healthy
water
cycles.
It
also
increases
food
security
and
decreases
the
need
for
costly
pesticides
and
fertilizers.
B
A
B
B
This
potato
was
grown
by
my
neighbor
wyatt
penfold.
The
penfold
family
has
been
growing
potatoes
in
teton
valley,
idaho,
for
generations.
If
anyone
knows
how
to
grow
potatoes,
it's
the
penfolds,
and
yet,
like
most
american
farmers,
the
penfold
farms
are
barely
making
enough
money
to
stay
above
water.
B
B
B
B
Without
innovation,
existing
ecosystem
services
market,
like
markets
like
carbon
credits,
are
inaccessible
to
farmers
like
wyatt,
because
the
verification
requirements
are
so
stringent.
They
take
a
lot
of
time
and
they
cost
way
too
much.
It
can
easily
cost
a
farmer
like
wyatt,
two
to
three
years
worth
of
profitability,
just
to
get
verified
for
carbon
credits.
B
B
B
Those
credits
are
stored
on
our
credit
registry
and
sold
through
our
credit
exchange
to
individuals,
to
corporations
and
to
governments
that
are
trying
to
achieve
their
climate
goals
to
ensure
that
farmers
like
wyatt
can
participate.
We're
focused
on
satellite-powered
remote
sensing
verification
which
keeps
the
cost
low
coupled
with
minimal
ground
truth
data.
B
This
baseline
data
and
the
verification
data
are
then
logged
onto
our
native
blockchain,
which
leverages
the
cosmos
sdk
on
the
buyers
side,
corporations
log
in
they
set
their
preferences
and
their
targets
and
region
network
matches
them
with
a
portfolio
of
credits
from
farmers
around
the
world.
Farmers
just
like
wyatt.
B
This
is
a
market
prime
for
growth.
The
market
for
ecosystem
services
is
already
valued
at
35
billion
dollars
in
growing
fast,
and
it
better
grow
fast
because
the
world
needs
it.
There
are
183
countries
around
the
world
that
have
ratified
the
paris
climate
accord,
set
ambitious
targets
and
are
desperate
for
tools
to
actually
make
that
happen.
There
are
over
1200
corporations
that
make
public
announcements
about
deeply
reducing
their
negative
environmental
impacts.
B
Thank
you,
and
this
is
already
happening.
We're
working
with
a
conservation
organization
in
australia
called
odanata
issuing
biodiversity
credits
for
the
incredible
work
they're
doing
on
the
ground.
We're
working
with
the
savory
institute
located
right
here
in
colorado
over
on
over
2
million
acres
of
verified
ecological
ranch
lands,
we're
working
with
the
rainforest
foundation
to
reward
indigenous
peoples
for
the
protection
of
the
peruvian
amazon
and
we're
working
with
impact
ag
partners,
starting
on
64
000
acres
in
australia,
issuing
grazing-backed
carbon
credits.
B
B
B
This
is
the
second
company
that
my
business
partner,
gregory
and
I
have
started.
He
and
I
each
have
over
15
years
of
ecological
agriculture,
experience
and
food
and
beverage
industry
experience
our
cto,
aaron
and
ron
have
deep
software
development
backgrounds
recently
won
a
hackathon
in
berlin
and
have
helped
us
helped
our
company
land
over
five
hundred
thousand
dollars
in
development
grants,
and
our
science
team
led
by
dr
jesus
albumin,
is
making
significant
progress
in
using
remote
sensing
to
be
able
to
verify
carbon
in
the
soil.
B
B
C
You
have
to
excuse
me,
I'm
a
little
emotional
congratulations.
B
C
That
first
video
gets
me
every
time
and
I
was
just
thinking
you
know.
I
was
just
thinking
back
at
the
start
of
all
of
this
excuse
me.
It's
been
pretty
gosh.
It
got
me
going.
I
started
tearing
up
when
I
saw
everybody
on
the
chat,
just
chiming
in
with
where
you're
from
and
just
people
all
over
the
world
bring
coming
together.
C
That's
the
vision
of
regen
network
right
and
yeah,
so
christian
and
I
are
going
to
give
a
little
bit
of
a
introduction
as
co-founders
and
then
we're
going
to
launch
into
a
show
that
is
going
to
cover,
hopefully
the
length
and
breadth
of
of
what's
happening
here.
The
region
network
in
this
attempt
to
reinvent
economics
in
order
to
value
ecological,
health
and
regeneration.
C
So
it's
a
bold
vision
and
we've
been
at
it
for
a
while.
You
know
these
videos
that
you
all
just
got
to
see
from
2018
2019,
it's
been
a
long
journey
and
I'm
just
so
grateful
for
the
community
and
before
I
pass
it
over
to
christian,
to
share
some
of
his
recollections.
I
just
wanted
to
share
my
immense
gratitude
to
my
family
here
in
massachusetts,
and
especially
my
my
son
oberyn,
who
I
mean
you
know
without
him.
This
wouldn't
exist
because
you
know
he
came
into
the
world.
C
I
took
paternity
leave
from
you
know
what
I
was
doing
before,
and
you
know
it
was
out
on
a
walk
with
him
with
this
little.
C
You
know
baby,
human
and
just
thinking
about
the
world
that
I
wanted
to
give
him
sorry
man-
and
this
idea
this
this
and
this
and
the
commitment
with
the
idea
that
we
need
a
foundation,
a
global
public
foundation
for
sense
making
about
ecological
health
as
the
very
foundation
of
everything
that
every
human
can
access
and
together
we
can
create
an
understanding
of
what
is
happening
where
what
soil
is
being
regenerated.
What
the
health
of
the
forests
are
and
link
that
into
our
financial
system
and
our
policy
system.
C
It
was
just
startlingly
and
thunderingly
clear
with
you
know
my
little
baby
boy,
it
just
sort
of
all
came
in
a
snap
and
since
then
you
know
it's
been
it's
been
day
in
and
day
out
with
this
amazing
team
of
humans
and
and
christian
right
here
by
my
side.
So
christian
I'd
like
to
you
know
invite
you
to
share
a
little
bit
of
recollections,
we'll
pass
the
baton
back
and
forth
a
little
bit
here
and
then
move
into
the
rest
of
the
show.
So,
thanks
to
everybody
for
being
here.
B
Thanks
gregory
and
thanks
oberyn
for
all
the
inspiration
yeah.
What
a
what
a
monumental
moment!
This
is,
I
mean
yeah
since
2017
gathering
in
the
golem
offices
and
getting
up
on
a
whiteboard
like
this
and
sketching
out
this
amazing
vision
of
what
potentially
is
possible
and
then
seeing
how
far
we've
come
and
how
close
we
actually
are
to
what
we
envisioned
that
day.
You
know.
B
One
of
the
videos
we
didn't
just
show
is
the
video
of
you,
speaking
at
devcon
3
in
cancun,
back
in
2017
when
the
whole
crypto
world
was
just
exploding
and
everyone
was
so
excited
and
then
we
kind
of
went
into
a
crypto
winter
for
a
couple
years,
and
during
that
time
we've
been
growing
our
team,
our
heads
been
down,
we've
been
working,
it's
just
been
absolutely
incredible.
B
What's
what's
come
about,
I
mean
the
number
of
farmers
and
ranchers
and
land
stewards
around
the
world
that
we've
connected
with
that
have
reached
out
to
us
and
said
that
they're
absolutely
inspired
and
excited
about
what
it
is
that
we're
doing.
B
B
It's
those
folks
on
the
ground
that
are
really
doing
the
regeneration
is
those
folks
that
I
see
as
the
heroes
of
all
this
all
right
and
and
what
we're
doing
at
region
network
is
simply
enabling
trying
to
give
the
the
proper
incentives
to
say
look
what
this
world,
our
families,
our
children,
our
communities,
really
value,
what
it
is
that
we're
doing,
and
we
want
to
help
reward
you
for
for
making
those
those
management
decisions
that
lead
towards
regeneration.
B
So
there
there
are
over
400
million
farmers
around
this
world
that
are
making
decisions
year
by
year
about
how
they're
going
to
manage
their
land
and
if
the
incentives
were
there
for
them
to
say
you
know
what
I
should
choose
this
other
way,
because
that
way
is
going
to
serve
my
family.
It's
going
to
serve
my
community,
it's
going
to
make
our
it's
going
to
make
our
entire
community
more
healthy,
less
chemicals,
less
cancer,
etc.
B
That's
that's
what
this
project
is
all
about
super
exciting
to
me,
despite
all
that
we
have
achieved
working
with
farmers
in
new
south
wales,
issuing
our
first
carbon
credits,
almost
a
hundred
thousand
carbon
credits
that
are
about
to
go
on
chain
having
sold
those
credits
to
microsoft.
Earlier
this
year
you
know
having
over
a
hundred
and
having
over
400
applicants
to
our
test
net
and
125
that
actually
participated
in
our
most
recent
incentivized
test
net
and
now
launching
our
mainnet.
B
Despite
all
that,
what
I
see
happening
here
today
is
a
birth,
we're
birthing,
the
beginning
of
something
really
beautiful,
and
it's
no
longer
region
network
development
incorporated
that
is
stewarding
this,
but
it's
this
entire
community.
It's
all
of
you
are
out
there
watching
this
film
right
now,
where
we're
excited
to
be
teaming
up
with
you
and
what
our
job
now
is
to
simply
be
enablers
for
you,
how
can
we
help
adjust
the
tools?
How
can
we
help
create
forums
for
communication?
B
How
can
we
create
governance
mechanisms
and
financial
incentives
to
help
you
to
innovate
on
top
of
what's
happening
here,
so
that
we
can
create
create
more
impact
around
the
world?
I
want
to
appreciate
all
of
you
for
what
you've
already
done
and
for
all
that
you're
going
to
do
in
advance.
C
Thanks
christian,
so
now
that
I've
composed
myself
a
little
bit,
I
would
like
to
I'd
like
to
do
two
things.
One
is
I'd
like
to
just
shout
out
a
list
of
thank
yous,
because
this
has
been
a
community
project
from
the
beginning.
This
is
a
public
network.
We're
built
we're
we're
about
regenerating
planetary
commons.
C
Our
whole
theory
of
change
is
that
climate
action
needs
to
be
from
the
ground
up
and
grassroots,
and
that
blockchain
technology
is
something
that
can
enable
a
peer-to-peer
approach,
and
so
it's
been
a
big
crew
of
people,
and
I
profusely
apologize.
If
I
miss
anyone,
there's
been
a
lot
of
help
along
the
way
we
have
not
gotten
here
alone.
C
I
want
to
thank
our
validator
community,
the
whole
community
of
people
who
are
dedicated
like
right
now,
dedicating
their
lives
to
running,
secure,
compute
nodes
for
blockchain
networks.
You
guys
are
heroes.
I
mean
it's
a
lot
of
work,
there's
a
lot
of
there's
a
lot
at
stake.
I
especially
want
to
thank
our
lead,
validators
vit
wit
and
informal,
and
chorus
one
and
kalpatek
and
chainflo.
C
You
all
have
you
know
from
the
very
beginning,
been
supporting
us
to
understand
how
to
do
this
and
create
a
decentralized
network
launch.
I
want
to
thank
all
of
our
contributors.
People
who've
early
and
recently
believed
enough
to
contribute
your
your
financial
capital
to
secure
the
network
and
participate
in
governance
and
believe
in
the
vision,
we're
so
grateful
and
excited,
and
so
many
of
you
are
doing
the
hard
work
too
and
are
building
applications
and
engaging
in
the
vision
with
us.
C
So
it
feels
fantastic
to
have
such
a
community
of
peers,
bringing
this
all
into
the
world.
Our
team
at
region,
network
development
incorporated
through
thick
and
thin.
You
know
through
a
long
dark,
crypto
winter,
where
you
know
things
were
pretty
lean
for
a
while
people,
people
kept
working
without
pay
people.
People
are
doing
this.
C
People
are
doing
this
because
they're
passionate
people
are
doing
this
for
their
kids
and
their
grandkids.
Our
team
is
amazing
with
so
much
gratitude.
I
have
so
much
gratitude
for
everyone
on
our
team,
our
science
team,
dr
shisell
boomin,
our
engineering
team,
aaron
and
everyone
else
on
the
team,
our
our
operations
team,
the
sarah's
as
we
lovingly
refer
to
them.
C
You
know
there's
just
such
a
fantastic
team,
dave,
who's,
producing
and
hosting
this
been
here
from
the
beginning.
You
know
dave
and
loicom
have
been
standing
here
when
there
wasn't
even
a
shred
of
possibility
of
you
know
monetary
return.
People
have
been
just
putting
their
their
shoulders
into
everything
all
along.
I
wanna.
I
wanna
give
a
shout
out
to
the
cosmos
community
so
early,
you
know
so
early
on
the
cosmos
community
rallied
behind
region,
network
and
jay
and
ethan
in
the
early
days.
C
Both
of
them
are
deeply
passionate
as
founders
of
cosmos,
around
ecological
issues,
just
the
whole
community.
You
know-
and
I
could
point
out
several
moments
of
just
the
openness
and
cooperativeness
and
curiosity
of
the
cosmos
community
that,
without
which,
in
these
key
moments
of
people
just
being
fantastic
humans,
we
would
not.
You
know
this
wouldn't
have
succeeded
right
because
there
needed
to
be
someone
who
is
curious
enough
to
listen
and
engage
and
help
us
think
through
what
it
looks
like
to
create
the
world's
first
public
ecological
ledger.
What
does
that
look
like?
C
How
do
we
do
that?
So
I
I
know.
Of
course
I
want
to
thank
my
family
who's
been
putting
up
with
me
doing
long
hours,
and
you
know
chaining
myself
to
the
computer
for
a
couple
of
years
now
and-
and
I
want
to
thank
the
families
of
all
of
our
team
members,
many
of
us
have
kids
or
about
to
have
kids.
C
Many
of
us
have
significant
others.
Everybody
has
been
putting
in
long
hours
and
doing
hard
work
and
in
moments
without
really,
you
know
clear
signal
that
this
was
all
working,
so
you
know
now
at
this
moment
we're
launching
mainnet
just
congratulations
to
everyone
in
the
community.
This
is
a
huge,
huge
step
and,
as
christian
said,
it's
really
just
the
beginning-
we're
giving
birth
to
this
cyber
physical
organism.
That
is,
that
is
a
manifestation
of
all
of
our
collective
understanding
that
we
need.
C
C
So
with
that,
I
would
like
to
I'd
like
to
invite
dave
back
in
here,
hop
in
and
give
us
a
brief
sort
of
logistic
overview
of
what
to
expect,
because
we
have
a
lot
of
programming
moving
forward,
we're
going
to
have
a
lot
of
voices
coming
in
explaining
their
pieces
of
the
puzzle.
This
is
a
complex,
we're
bri,
we're
fusing
cutting
edge
science
and
cutting-edge
economics
and
cutting-edge
ecology.
C
All
you
know
on
a
distributed
ledger
system.
So
there's
a
lot
of
voices
to
weave
into
this
and
dave's
going
to
give
us
a
quick
tour
of
of
the
show
and,
of
course,
when
we're
going
to
be
hitting
mainnet
so
I'll
pass
it
over
to
you
dave.
D
Well,
thank
you
so
much,
gentlemen,
everyone,
christian
and
gregory
throw
your
hands
in
the
air
for
these
two
guys
holding
the
vision
through
the
thick
and
thin
like
2017.
I
was
just
reflecting
back
on
the
first
files.
Drawing
sketches
of
logos
of
you
know
that
were
okay
and
clearly
we
got
a
better
one,
thankfully,
to
sarah
demotie,
wherever
you
are
thinking
about
you.
Anyhow,
it's
been
an
incredible
journey
with
both
you
all
and
yeah.
D
It's
yeah,
it's
pretty
emotional
thing,
and
you
know:
we've
been
through
some
really
thin
times
and
we're
and
we're
back
in
the
thick
of
it.
You
know
big
ups
to
the
bull
run
happening
out
in
crypto,
but
it
takes
a
team
to
get
through
the
valleys,
and
I
just
want
to
give
thanks
again
to
all
of
you
to
both
of
you
in
particular
and
to
the
whole
team.
That's
stuck
together,
and
then
you
know
to
this
community.
D
That's
just
grown
up
around
and
continues
to
grow
our
roots
and
really
give
us
the
deep
watering
and
the
deep
nourishment
that
will
carry
us
through
the
next
thin
times
together
and
allow
us,
during
the
the
bountiful
times
to
hold
this
fruit
and
to
really
allow
it
to
spread
seeds
around
the
world.
So
super
grateful.
D
So
my
job
is
to
tell
you:
what's
going
on
you're,
not
going
to
be
seeing
me
much
of
me
on
tv
today,
I'm
going
to
be
trying
to
hold
down
the
the
back
end
broadcast
here.
I've
got
the
next
session
in
line
we're
going
to
be
jumping
into
regen
ledger
next,
as
well
as
kind
of
moseying
our
way
onto
genesis,
which
is
going
to
be
super
exciting
for
those
some
housekeeping
things
ask
a
question
at
the
bottom
of
your
at
the
bottom
of
your
crowdcast
window.
D
D
You
tell
us
where
who
you
are
and
where
you're
from
and
what
you're
doing
on
the
schedule,
if
you
just
to
be
clear,
if
you
click
in
the
top
left
corner
of
your
window,
it
says
sessions
1
through
13.,
we're
going
to,
as
you
can
tell
we're
going
to
walk
through
a
good
part
of
the
regen
ecosystem.
D
D
So
please
tell
a
friend
if
they're
they
can
go
to
the
regen
network,
youtube
channel
and
watch
there
all
day
as
well,
so
yeah
open
up
the
sessions
you
can
find
out
what's
coming
next,
and
these
are
obviously
approximate
times
and
then
you
know
at
1500
hours,
utc
we're
hoping
to
have
genesis
more
to
for
mainnet
to
go
online,
which
will
be
our
birthday
if
you
will
or
birth
moment,
and
we
would
love
for
as
many
of
you
to
be
on
for
that
as
possible.
D
But
otherwise
you
know
it's
just
going
to
be
a
beautiful
exploration
of
all
the
humans
that
have
made
this
possible
from
science
to
validators,
to
our
partners
in
the
cosmos
community
to
our
to
our
and
basically
the
entire
team.
I
mean
you
can
go
through
here.
Regen
foundation
want
to
give
a
big
shout
out
to
them.
They're
gonna
join
us
and
you
know:
they've
emerged
onto
the
scene,
our
land,
stewards,
international,
carbon
accounting.
D
If
you
want
to
dig
in
and
find
out
this
crazy
world
of
a
carbon
accounting,
please
jump
in
on
that
and
then
you
know
we're
going
to
finish
the
day
with
how
to
stake
your
regen
for
all
of
you
token
holders
it's
time,
it's
gonna
be
time
to
secure
the
network
and
to
get
your
token
staked
and
with
our
lovely
set
of
validators
and
we're
gonna
walk
you
through
that
live
and
make
sure
that
that's
a
as
good
an
experience
for
you
as
possible.
So
lots
a
lot
to
do
here.
D
Please
don't
hesitate
to
reach
out
to
me
if
you
have
questions,
throw
it
in
the
chat,
and
you
know
again.
This
is
the
beginning
of
a
really
exciting
journey,
so
with
that
christian
gregory
is
there
anything
else
you
would
like
to
share
with
us
before
we
go
ahead
and
launch.
B
D
C
Minutes
and
50
seconds
until
until
maynet,
and
so
with
that
we
should
probably
shift
over
and
bring
in
aaron
and
corey
and
and
robert
to
talk
about
yup.
What
mainnet
is
for
those
of
you
who
might
be
curious
about
what
a
distributed
ecological
ledger,
you
know
is
and
looks
like
and
how,
how
it's
being
built.
So
the
next
segment
is
our
fantastic
engineering
team
to
go
over
that
and
then
aaron
and
I
will
ring
in
the
mainnet
launch
together
and
and
then
we'll
be
off
and
rolling.
D
All
right,
so
I'm
going
to
go
ahead
and
start
I'm
going
to
send
everyone
to
session
2..
So
gregory
I'm
going
to
pull
you
back
up
on
stage.
So
just
give
me
a
moment
here,
and
this
is
going
to
be
my
first
transition
and
clearly
the
I
I
promise
the
sound
will
be
on
at
least
this
time.
So
please
hold
tight.
So
here
we
go
so
I'm
going.
