B
C
My
name
is
Polly
Hart.
Most
of
you
know
me,
but
for
the
newcomers
welcome
to
the
City
Council
I
wanted
to
talk
about
the
off-leash
area
in
memory
grove.
The
trail
that
goes
through
the
off-leash
area
is
called
the
Freedom
Trail
and,
as
happens
every
single
winter
after
some
snow
and
some
Sun,
the
Freedom
Trail
is
a
sheet
of
ice,
and
it's
not
safe
for
the
dog.
C
Walkers
I
would
like
to
ask
that
either
the
parks
department
make
the
trail
walkable,
which
is
an
enormous
request
or
find
a
legal
way
to
make
the
road
on
the
east
on
the
west
side
of
the
creek
legal.
Just
when
the
trail
is
not
walkable.
I
know
that
the
parks
department
has
found
ways
around
resolution
52
to
make
parts
that
are
off
leash
during
certain
hours
or
during
certain
times
of
the
year.
C
I
would
like
to
request
that
we
go
at
it
from
this
angle,
because
the
trail
is
really
dangerous
and
it's
more
than
the
parks
department
can
deal
with.
I
also
want
to
urge
you,
in
this
new
year
that
this
be
the
year
that
resolution
52
gets
rescinded
so
that
we
can
work
on
creating
more
off-leash
areas.
I
have
a
petition
for
the
avenues:
Upper
shoreline
trail
upper
abs,
shoreline
trails
for
an
off-leash
area
that
has
been
in
the
works
for
two
and
a
half
years.
C
Almost
three
years
now,
and
almost
nothing
has
been
done
with
it
and
I've
been
very
patient,
because
Parkes
keeps
promising
me
that
resolution
52
is
going
to
go
away
and
there
will
be
an
easier
way
to
do
it
and
it
doesn't
happen
so
I
I
know
you
have
other
priorities,
but
I
would
like
this
to
be
the
year
that
this
happens.
Thanks
for
all,
you
do
and
get
ready.
Kids.
D
So
I'm
the
owner
of
Diggity
Dog
Resort,
which
is
directly
across
the
street
from
the
newly
stated
newer,
stated
entrance
to
the
shelter
on
High
Street,
which
is
really
unparalleled,
Street
and
I'm.
Basically
here
just
to
express
my
incredible
disappointment
and
frustration
for
the
last
three
months.
I
have
reached
out
to
many
people,
many
departments,
the
architect,
the
city,
the
shelter
people
and
there
has
not
been
one
offer
of.
D
The
mayor's
not
here
again
for
the
my
second
meeting
in
a
row
and
I
believe
that
she
promised
me
the
very
first
night
that
this
happened
was
that
I
would
be
on
a
board
to
be
part
of
a
be
a
lay
person
on
this
board
and
their
meeting
on
the
11th.
So
I've
done
my
best
to
really
keep
up
with.
What's
going
on,
but
everywhere,
every
single
request,
I
have
made,
or
suggestion
has
pretty
much
been
flat-out.
Node
I'm
looking
for
some
support
from
the
council.
D
As
some
of
my
comments
go
to
this
meeting
next
week
and
I
have
spent
a
ton
of
my
own
money
in
Reese
weeks,
trying
to
make
my
employees
and
my
customers
feel
comfortable
and
safer,
but
I
think
it's
about
time
that
there
was
some
action
and
some
decision-making,
and
if
not,
this
is
I.
Guess
one
of
my.
D
E
Good
evening,
nice
to
see
it's
nice
to
see
new
faces
up
there,
but
it's
a
change
and
change
is
good.
I
hope,
because
we
do
have
a
number
of
issues
in
the
city
that
has
to
be
dealt
with
in
my
particular
issue.
Is
homelessness
and
I
think
we
probably
are
in
a
position
where
we
have
to
have
some
new
voices
heard
some
new
new
perspectives,
because
what's
happened
in
the
past
just
doesn't.
E
In
my
opinion,
a
few
other
people
in
the
city
haven't
quite
got
the
job
done,
for
example,
the
hiring
of
the
need
for
hiring
50
new
police
officers
after
we
heard
forever
that
the
social
work
programs
were
working
and
they
were
doing
wonderful
things
and
they
were
solving
the
homeless
problem
and
all
the
problem.
All
the
programs
that
representative
used
was
putting
in
was
going
to
solve
the
problems
and
keep
our
jails
empty
and
all
the
recidivism
issues
that
were
being
dealt
with
and
the
problems
were
being
addressed
with
by
programs
and
what
was
happening.
E
E
E
E
It
really
reflects
the
effectiveness
of
what
we're
doing
and
if
what
we're
doing
isn't
getting
the
job
done,
we
have
to
hire
more
police
officers
and
moving
in
using
those
police
officers
to
solve
our
homeless
problem
is
a
signal
that
nothing
is
working
and
I'm,
hoping
that
the
new
council
starts
addressing
the
issues
in
a
different
way
and
looking
for
information
and
actually
looking
for
data
to
support.
What's
going
on
finding
what
works
and
what's
really
effective,
so
Salt
Lake
can
take
a
leadership
role
everywhere
in
the
country
are
just
an
order
time.
