Mr
mccoy
miss
hall
here,
mr
bergen.
E
A
Okay,
our
first
item
is
review
and
discussion
of
the
internal
auditor
applications.
So
this
time
we
had
several
more
than
we
did
the
last
go
round,
so
it
was
a
little
bit
more
intense
on
our
part.
So
I
thought
we
would
just
go
around
to
each
member
and
you
could
give
us,
maybe
your
top
three
and
any
thoughts
or
insights
you
had
when
you
went
through
the
resumes.
C
Thank
you,
and,
and
and
and
and
thank
you,
miss
hails
for
for
for
sure
the
meeting
I
have
some
allergies
and
I'm
sure
you
all
wouldn't
want
to
be
around
me
so
again
with
this
position,
I
think
we
all
have
to
keep
in
mind
that
you
know
it
does
not
report
to
the
city
manager
that
this
reports
directly
to
the
to
the
to
the
board
of
commissioners
and
having
five
bosses
is
very
different
than
you
know,
having
one
boss.
C
So
when
reviewing
the
the
these
applications,
I
think
we,
I
didn't
see
any
of
that
reported
to
a
commissioner
and
and
that's
fine,
but
you
know
look
for
people
that
have
some
experience
in
in
at
least
government.
So
I
I
wasn't
again
too
crazy
about
these
applications,
but
we
have
we
have
we
have
what
we
have.
I
know
that
blair
henderson-
I
saw
again,
I
always
forget
if
it's
a
he
or
she,
I
saw
them
again
in
this
round
up.
C
I
think
they're,
a
pretty
strong
connection
to
the
to
the
local
area,
his
or
her
work
experience
is
relevant.
The
the
salary
range
is
is
similar.
I
know
we
expressed
last
time
this
and
some
other
applications
have
they.
They
have
moved
around
a
lot
in
this
job,
which
I
don't
think
is
too.
You
know
uncommon
these
days,
but
it's
it's
to
note,
so
I
think
blair
should
be
considered
again
and
then-
and
these
aren't
on
any
particular
order-
it's
just
the
ones.
C
I
grabbed
that
I
liked
and
then
basilios
billy
po
loose.
I
think
again,
local
ties
and
you
know,
is
a
deputy
tax
collector
for
for
pasco
county.
C
I
felt
that
was
strong
and
they
also,
and
then
he
also
has
private
industry
experience
as
well,
and
then
I
like
the
fact
that
he
worked
for
the
hillsborough
county
board
of
county
commissioners
way
back
in
07.
C
You
know,
I
think,
when
I
guess
his
career
got
started,
so
I
think
that
should
be
a
strong
candidate
as
well
cheryl,
hale,
again
pretty
strong
department
of
defense
with
auditing
and
then
the
department
of
education
over
in
ohio
and
then
some
other
department
of
defense
experience
so
again,
a
a
work,
environment
and
structure
that,
I
think
would
would
would
lead
to
success
in
tarpon
wesley
glein's,
not
my
top
of
the
ones
I
pulled,
but
I
think
should
be
considered.
C
You
know
has
been
according
to
this
resume
or
this
application
has
been
the
same
job
since
2008
salary
is
definitely
much
lower
than
what
we're
offering.
So
that
might
be
a
concern,
but
I
think
wesley
should
be
considered
in
the
running
and,
lastly,
robert
gorges,
again
kind
of
on
the
lower
end
of
the
ones
I
pulled
along
with
wesley.
C
But
you
know
has
some
experience
in
local
government,
but
I
really
think
I
guess
if
I
had
to
pick
my
top
one
or
let
me
see
here
or
top
two
would
be
this.
This
basilios
billy
polus,
I'm
sure
that's
a
great
name
that
I'm
botching
again
with
it
with
the
he
is.
He
is
the
he
is
the
deputy
tax
collector
and
then
with
cheryl
hale.
I
think
those
those
are
my
top
two
and
then
the
other
three
I
mentioned
are
good,
but
those
those
are
those
those
are
the
the
top
two
for
sure.
C
But
again,
I
just
stress
to
people
that
when
we
consider
these
things
that
that
we
are,
we
are
reminded
of,
you
know
who
to
be
reporting
to.
Thank
you.
A
Thank
you,
okay,
I
will
go
with
my
thoughts.
I
also
looked
for
both
government
experience
and
non-government
experience
being
in
the
accounting
world
myself
I
find
if,
if
we
only
focused
on
the
government
experience,
they
can
bring
a
lot
more
with
real
world
experience
as
well.
I
know
I
own
my
own
business
and
I
bring
a
lot
of
that
knowledge
to
my
job.
So
I
look
for
that
balance.
A
The
ones
that
stood
out
to
me
were
katie
sanders
and
christopher
saunders.
Mostly
they
both
had
a
balance
of
government
and
non-government
experience.
Mr
saunders
was
actually
a
city
audit
manager
for
the
city
of
fort
worth
some
time
back.
They
both
have
about
an
equal
amount
of
years
of
experience.
A
A
A
I
did
notice
blair
henderson
popped
up
again
and
I
he's
in
my
list,
but
he's
just
a
little
over
eager.
I
thought
with
the
here's
what
you
know.
He
basically
said:
here's
what
you're
laying
out
and
here's
what
I'll
do,
but
his
action
plans
were
really
just
a
repeat
of
what
the
expectations
were.
A
Karen
kunkel
kind
of
popped
up,
she
appears
to
be
retired,
but
with
government
experience
here
in
pinellas
county
and
then
stephen
holmes
stood
out
to
me
as
well.
He's
got
audit
firm
experience,
public
speaking
experience,
which
that
would
be
a
lot
of
the
requirement
here,
is
communicating
with
the
board
of
commissioners.
A
Mr
mccoy,
if
you
want
to
go
next.
B
Let's
see,
I
do
not
see.
B
B
A
F
I
have
ranked
mine
in
order
of
sanders,
1,
poulos,
2
and
kunkle
3..
I
did
notice
that
kunkel
had
retired.
However,
I
don't
think
that
she
is,
I
think
she
would
still
be
able
to
serve
for
an
ample
period
of
time.
F
D
Yeah
so
my
upon
reviewing
the
applications
in
the
recommendations
on
the
certifications,
the
the
educational
background
and
the
experience
I
selected
arkady
sanders
karen
kunkel
vasilios,
pulos,
christopher
and
christopher
christopher
sanders.
As
my
top
three
I
mean
top
four.
I.
D
Yeah
katie
sanders
karen
kunkel
fasilios
pulos
christopher
sanders.
G
All
right,
thank
you,
okay,
so
I
I
think,
for
the
most
part
it's
in
line
I
have
in
order
kunkle.
First
now
I
would
say
that
there's
experience
there
doing
the
auditor
position
for
a
pinellas
county
city
for
for
a
a
long
time,
so
I
think
that
there's
some
advantages
there.
G
I
also
have
blair
henderson
again,
and
I
agree
I
I
definitely
like
how
they
came
out
with
sort
of
the
the
plan
but
you're
right.
The
plan
was
a
little
bit
light
it
there
wasn't
a
lot
of
meat
to
the
plan.
There
was
a
lot
of
repeating
of
the
word,
so
I
would
say
it
was
kind
of
like
a
a
90-day
plan
that
was
not
as
specific
as
as
we
would
have
liked
to
see.
G
I
also
have
katie
saunders
the
one
thing
I
really
liked
about
the
experience
with
katie
is
they
actually
listed
about
meeting
with
various
department
heads
in
a
previous
role
and
sort
of
working
through
some
of
the
things
that
that
would
be
required
in
the
internal
auditor
position
as
and
they
sort
of
explained.
On
that,
I
I
thought
that
that
was
relatable
to
what
we
have
number
five.
I
have
stephen
holmes.
G
The
ch
challenge
there
just
looking
at
sort
of
the
the
history
it
didn't
seem
like
a
logical
progression
and
for
a
lot
of
these,
it
doesn't
seem
like
a
logical
progression
that
this
would
be
the
next
logical
step
for
them
to
take.
So
that
would
be
the
only
downside
there
and
then
I
I
did
like
pulos
as
well.
The
one
downside
that
I
that
I
would
mention
is
in
in
the
reason
for
leaving
billy
said
that
they
wanted
to
take
on
audit
manage
management.
G
G
A
To
decide
okay,
so
I
think
we
had
a
lot
of
the
same
ones
come
up.
Do
we
want
to
go
with
do
deputy
clerk?
Did
we
do
three
or
four
recommendations
of
the
last
one?
I
think
we
did
four
or
okay
well
for
consistency,
so
I
suppose
we
should
do
that
this
time
as
well.
A
So
if
anybody
helped
me
to
take
notes,
it
looks
like-
and
these
are
no
particular
order-
it
looks
like
katie
sanders
and
the
celio's
pulos
were
both
mentioned
by
most
people,
so
we've
got
those
two
and
karen
kunkel
would
be
one
and
then
maybe
christopher
saunders.
Does
that
sound
about
right
to
everybody?.
A
A
A
A
Do
I
have
a
second
second?
Do
we
need
a
roll
call
on
that
deputy
just
do
all
in
favor
all
in
favor,
okay,
okay,
so
that's
that
was
our
two
agenda
items
for
the
day.
Are
there
any
public
comments.
H
B
H
H
F
H
Want
to
give
you
guys
all
an
update,
we
have
a
water
and
waste
rate
study.
I
saw
at
the
last
meeting
that
there
is
a
rate
study
and
in
april
I
predict
the
rates
will
go
down
as
they
should,
and
this
was
only
possible
because
the
citizens
forced
the
issue.
We
told
ron
herring
and
I
apologize
sir.
I
I've
been
calling
you
dan.
H
H
You
know
once
we
connect
that
code
enforcement
in
the
police
department
with
this
illegal
money,
racket
that
it's
used
to
target
certain
citizens.
Individuals
in
the
black
community,
then
we're
going
to
separate
code
enforcement
from
the
police
department
and
if
any
of
you
are
interested
in
details,
I'm
not
hard
to
find
I'm
not
hard
to
reach.
H
H
H
H
You
know
david,
I
would
love
for
you
to
articulate
why
the
city
of
tarpon
springs
doesn't
need
an
internal
auditor
unless
you've
had
a
change
of
heart
and
what
happened
to
the
last
lady
that
was
going
to
be
hired
from
what
I
saw
at
the
last
bac
meeting
at
the
public
comments.
At
the
end,
it
just
sounded
like
there
was
a
lack
of
communication
and
I'm
curious
as
to
why
she
really
declined
the
position.
H
H
And
you
know
I
I
come
out
here
to
ask
political
questions
that
are
all
about
the
city
of
tarpon
springs.
You
guys
might
think
it's
personal,
but
I
don't
speak
anything
personal.
We
speak
about
past
and
present
political
issues
that
are
important
to
us,
so
mr
banter
you've
been
hiding
and
running
from
these
political
questions
that
are
important
to
tarponites
and
your
excuses.
H
H
H
H
H
H
H
If
we
would
have
had
internal
auditor
burnout,
they
would
have
been
providing
reports
top
to
bottom
on
issues
that
are
important
to
us
on
agenda
items
each
week
as
it
comes
on
so
I
may
seem
like
a
pest,
but
I
know
what
needs
to
get
the
job
done.
It's
not
going
to
be
there's
only
so
nice.
You
can
play
with
these
people
and
it's
time
for
us
to
make
a
difference,
and
I
ask
you
all
please
thank
you
for
your
service,
but
let's
try
to
get
the
best
internal
order.
B
C
So,
first
off
and
first
off
I'm
I
I
I
am
happy
that
patio
to
hume
I've
known
his
family
for
a
long
time.
It
has
gotten
involved
in
the
past
two
years,
but
being
involved
with
the
city
non-stop
on
a
board
or
elected
position.
Since
2008.
I
think,
lends
me
some
credibility.
C
If
you
look
back
at
the
record,
I
I,
though
I
stated
in
charter
review
committee
and
in
this
committee
as
well,
that
I
support
having
an
external
firm,
be
be
our
internal
auditor.
At
no
point,
though,
the
the,
though,
though,
should
the
city
be
without
any
internal
auditor.
C
I
just
have
always
stated
on
the
record
and
very
clearly,
I
think
it's
far
more
efficient
and
free
of
political
influence
to
have
an
external
firm,
do
our
internal
auditing,
but
then
hiring
one
person
to
do
that,
and
I
understand
pontio
t
is
a
little
bit
younger
than
I
am.
But
if
you
look
back
into
history
of
who
the
last
internal
auditor
was,
you
can
see
how
that
position
was
used
and
treated.
C
So
that's
not
to
say
about
that
the
rest
of
the
personal
state
statements
he
makes.
I
I
just
simply
ignore
thank
you.
B
A
B
D
A
We'll
let
mr
herring
come
up
with
something
to
discuss,
we'll,
probably
need
to
discuss
our
the
budget
cycle's
about
to
come
up
and
we'll
be
having
more
meetings.
I
would
think
coming
in
may:
okay,
no
other
business,
then
the
meeting
is
adjourned
at
2
26.
