quorum
madam
chair
would,
madam
clerk,
would
you
please
call
the
roll.
B
C
You,
mr
chairman,
this
I
don't
know
if
this
is
a
personal
order
or
not,
but
the
final
calendar
for
transportation
subcommittee
will
be
on
tuesday
march
30th.
The
deadline
for
bills
to
be
put
on
notice
to
be
heard
this
year
will
be
wednesday
march
24th
at
3
30
p.m.
Sir,.
A
Thank
you
very
much,
mr
chairman,
and
a
reminder
that
the
deadline
for
the
omnibus
bill
for
transportation
is
tomorrow
by
the
end
of
the
business
day,
that's
march
18th,
and
we
will
announce
that
again
tomorrow
morning,
all
right,
any
other
announcements
from
the
committee
seeing
nine
we're
going
to
item
one
on
the
calendar.
We
have
a
short
calendar
today,
thanks
to
the
good
job.
Thank
you.
Thanks
to
the
good
job
that
chairman
whitson
is
doing.
We
have
five
bills
on
our
calendar
today
house
bill
431,
chairman
wendell,
you
are
recognized.
D
A
E
A
Item
number
two
chairman
williams
house,
bill:
977.
Do
I
hear
motion
second?
A
F
Thank
you,
chairman
of
members.
This
bill
is
a
part
of
my
2.0
package,
where
the
senate
didn't
do
much
last
year.
This
this
bill
allows
for
county
clerks
to
pro
to
collect
the
fees
for
perfecting
liens
of
which
they
do
in
their
own
communities.
F
Right
now,
it's
better
for
an
automobile
dealer
to
take
their
titles
and
perfect
liens
locally
than
it
is
to
wait
to
send
them
the
department
of
revenue
and
have
them
done
and
then
go
back,
and
so
currently
they're
doing
this
free
of
charge
in
their
communities,
because
they're
trying
to
serve
their
communities,
but
this
bill
would
allow
for
them
to
collect
the
same
portion
of
fee
or
a
portion
of
the
fee
that
department
of
revenue
gets.
I'm
happy
to
answer
any
question.
You've
got.
A
A
E
Recognized.
Thank
you,
mr
chairman
and
members.
My
home
county
of
johnson
county
has
the
doe
mountain
recreation
area,
which
is
over
8
600
acres
of
mountainous
terrain
and
trails,
where
people
travel
into
our
area
with
their
side
by
sides
and
equipment,
and
they
get
out
there
and
they
enjoy
nature,
and
this
legislation
authorizes
the
tennessee
department
of
transportation
to
install
and
direct
signs
along
highways
there
for
the
doe
mountain
recreation
area,.
A
All
right,
any
questions
for
the
sponsor
question
has
been
called
all
in
favor
of
house
bill,
57,
say:
aye
aye,
all
opposed,
nay
eyes
have
it.
Your
bill
goes
to
finance
ways
and
means.
Thank
you.
Thank
you
very
much
house
bill.
Number
712
item
number
four
on
your
calendar
by
representative
hurt.
I
have
a
motion
and
a
second
on
your
bill.
I
do
not
see
any
amendments.
You
recognize,
sir.
Thank.
G
You,
mr
chairman
house,
bill
712
is
pretty
straightforward.
It
just
aligns
the
expiration
date
of
a
class
h,
hardship
license
issued
to
a
minor
with
the
expiration
date
of
a
class
p
or
instructional
permit
learner's
permit.
A
A
Had
to
confer
with
the
research
all
right,
we
are
now
we're
now,
on
the
last
item:
number
five
63
364,
representative
russell.
You
are
recognized,
sir.
A
D
It
does
chairman
it
requires
the
department
of
safety
to
provide
a
copy
of
any
crash
report
upon
request
to
the
state
senator
and
the
state
representative
representing
the
location
where
the
accident
fatality
accident
occurred
when
the
accident
results.
The
person's
death
within
30
business
days
after
the
confirmed
death
upon
written
request
from
the
member
requires.
The
written
request
to
include
the
duration
in
which
the
member
wishes
to
receive
the
reports
up
to
one
year.
A
Thank
you
very
much
for
that
explanation.
I
believe
the
amendment
makes
it
permissive.
I
do
have
a
motion
and
a
second
on
the
amendment.
Any
questions.
All
of
all
in
favor,
of
adding
the
amendment
to
the
bill
say:
aye
aye,
all
opposed,
nay
eyes
have
it.
The
amendment
is
on
the
bill.
Any
questions
on
the
bill.
