C
Thank
you,
Mr.
Thank
you,
Mr
Speaker,
good
morning,
everyone.
It
is
an
honor
for
me
to
be
standing
here
and
co-hosting
as
well
as
co-introducing
with
representative
Butler,
our
chaplain
of
the
day.
Joshua
I
call
him
Joshua,
but
he
prefers
Josh
Grubbs.
He
is
the
senior
pastor
of
Faith
Baptist
Tabernacle
in
Jamestown.
C
Is
he
a
dear
friend
of
mine,
but
also
he
serves
as
my
our
youngest
daughter's,
pastor
and
family,
so
anyway,
Josh
I?
At
this
point,
though,
I
am
going
to
relinquish
the
whale
and
representative
Butler.
Please.
D
Josh
grew
up
in
a
pastor's
home
in
Cleveland
Tennessee
and
put
his
faith
in
Jesus
Christ
for
Eternal
salvation
at
the
age
of
eight.
He
knew
as
a
teenager
that
God
wanted
him
to
influence
and
Lead
as
a
pastor
after
graduation
from
seminary
in
1998
Josh
married
the
love
of
his
life
Kim,
they
began
serving
in
Ministry
immediately
for
21
years.
Josh
has
served
in
Ministry
support
roles
as
a
youth,
pastor,
worship,
pastor
and
executive
pastor
of
two
different
churches,
one
in
Tennessee
and
one
in
Alabama.
D
In
2019,
Josh
became
the
senior
pastor
at
Faith
Baptist
Tabernacle
in
Jamestown
Tennessee.
By
focusing
on
sharing
the
gospel
and
helping
people
grow
in
their
faith.
Faith
Baptist
Tabernacle
has
quadrupled
in
attendance
over
the
last
four
years.
Seeing
many
people
come
to
faith
in
Christ
being
baptized
and
began
their
personal
Bible
studies.
Josh
and
Kim
are
blessed
to
have
three
children.
E
Before
we
pray,
let
me
just
say
that
it
is
an
honor
to
be
able
to
be
here
today
and
to
pray
for
you.
Thank
you
for
serving
our
state.
Thank
you
for
the
time
that
you
spend
here
away
from
your
families.
The
scripture
urges
us
to
pray
for
you.
First
Timothy,
Chapter
2,
says
I
urge
you,
first
of
all
that
petitions
and
prayers
and
intercessions
and
Thanksgiving
be
made
for
all
people
for
kings
and
all
those
in
Authority
that
we
may
live
peaceful
and
quiet
lives
and
all
godliness
and
Holiness.
E
This
is
good
and
pleases
God
our
savior,
who
wants
all
people
to
be
saved
and
to
come
to
a
knowledge
of
the
truth.
David
wrote
in
Psalm
chapter
25
may
this
be
our
prayer
today.
Make
me
know
your
ways:
O
Lord
teach
me
your
paths,
Lead
Me,
In,
Your,
Truth
and
teach
me
for
you
are
the
god
of
my
salvation
and
you
I
hope
all
the
day,
I
take
refuge
in
you.
Let
integrity
and
uprightness
guard
me
for
I
hope
in
you.
Let's
pray
together.
E
Father,
you
alone
are
great.
You
alone
are
to
be
praised
and
glorified
and
honored,
and
we
praise
you
this
morning
for
your
sovereignty
in
our
lives,
for
your
Limitless
power,
for
your
unconditional
love
towards
us,
for
your
daily
mercy
and
for
your
never-changing
character,
Jesus.
We
thank
you
that
you
have
provided
Eternal
salvation
for
all
those
who
will
put
their
faith
in
you
alone.
We
thank
you
for
your
sacrificial
death
and
your
Victorious
Resurrection.
E
E
We
thank
you
for
our
governor
and
the
many
others
who
represent
the
people
of
Tennessee,
and
we
pray
today
that
they
will
humbly
surrender
their
will
to
yours
that
they
will
allow
the
word
of
God
to
be
a
lamp
for
every
step
that
they
take
for
every
word,
that
they
say
and
for
every
decision
that
they
make
I
pray
that
we
will
seek
you.
While
there
is
still
opportunity
and
may
we
make
it
a
daily
practice
to
ask
for
your
wisdom,
may
we
fear
you
with
reverence
knowing
that
it
is
the
beginning
of
wisdom,
God.
E
We
do
acknowledge
our
sins
against
you
and
we
ask
for
your
forgiveness
and
for
your
mercy.
May
you
guide
the
session
today?
May
your
Eternal
Kingdom
be
continually
on
our
hearts
and
Minds
throughout
this
day
we
pray
for
the
families
of
these
men
and
women.
We
thank
you
Lord
for
the
sacrifice
that
they
make
and
we
pray
that
today
you
would
protect
them
that
you
would
Minister
to
them
today
through
your
spirit
and
For
Your
Glory
and
the
advancement
of
the
Gospel
of
Jesus
Christ.
We
all.

B
Good
thank
Ms,
Clark
members,
quick
announcement.
Just
for
your
benefit.
This
summer
we
had
the
I.T
Department.
As
you
know,
you
have
a
real-time
dashboard
on
your
iPads,
where
you
can
monitor
all
the
Amendments
whether
it's
proposed
what's
passed.
What's
failed,
the
red
line
versions
of
the
bills
are
on
there.
I.T
this
summer
worked
to
make
that
a
now
public
dashboard,
where
the
public
will
have
the
same
access
as
their
representatives,
so
they
can
see
all
the
Amendments
filed
and
see
what
is
going
on
to
the
same
extent
that
you
are
so.
