representative
mckenzie
you're
recognized.
B
Thank
you,
mr
chair
and
good
morning.
Everyone
in
the
second
chapter
of
of
mark
there's
a
familiar
story,
and
it
talks
about
the
time
that
jesus
came
into
a
city
and
was
in
the
house
preaching,
and
there
was
so
many
people
that
came
into
the
house
that
they
couldn't
get
in
the
door
couldn't
get
in.
It
was
just
it
was
a
packed
place
and
some
men
end
up
with
a
had
a
friend
of
theirs
that
was
disabled,
so
they
wanted
to
get
him
into
the
house.
B
Couldn't
get
him
through
the
door
through
the
window,
so
what
they
did?
They
climbed
up
on
the
roof,
peeled
that
roof
back
and
lowered
him
in,
and
it
wasn't
anything
that
that
man
did
but
jesus
healed
the
man
because
of
what
he
saw
their
friends
did
for
him.
So
you
know,
friendship
really
is
essential
to
the
soul.
So
let's
go
to
the
lord
in
prayer,
god
of
our
weary
years,
god
of
our
silent,
tears,
thou
who
has
brought
us
thus
far
on
our
way,
thou,
who
is
by
thy?
B
A
A
D
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
I
would
like
to
honor
my
mother
today.
It
is
her
birthday,
so
happy
83rd
birthday
to
betty
terry.
D
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
Ladies
and
gentlemen,
the
lord
blessed
me
with
five
amazing
children
and
my
firstborn
is
rebecca
faithan.
Her
birthday
is
this
weekend
and
the
reason
I'm
bringing
it
up
is
she's.
Turning
18.
she's
reminded
me
at
least
20
times
that
she's
becoming
an
adult
on
saturday,
and
I
just
you
know
if
you
happen
to
think
about
it,
send
me
a
message,
so
she
can
see
that
she's
still
not
really
an
adult
until
she's
paying
her
own
bills,
but
anyway,
y'all
wish
her
happy
birthday.
For
me,.
E
Thank
you,
mr
speaker,
back
home
today,
there's
a
gentleman
by
the
name
of
david
leatherwood
who
has
worked
in
the
same
company
for
52
years
and
while
we're
here
convening
doing
the
people's
business,
he's
been
busy
taking
care
of
the
community
of
hixson
tennessee,
and
we
have
signed
and
passed
a
resolution
on
behalf
of
david
leatherwood.
But
if
you
wouldn't
mind
pausing
and
congratulating
david
leatherwood
on
a
distinguished
career,
serving
customers
with
the
food
city
corporation.
Thank
you.

I
I
would
like
to
add
all
members
voting
in
the
affirmative
as
co-prime
sponsors
and
before
I
leave
that
I'd
like
to
explain
to
the
members
what
they
would
be
co-prime
sponsors
on
these
resolutions,
honor
the
clinton
12,
who
were
the
first
people
to
integrate
public
schools
in
the
south.
Contrary
to
popular
opinion,
it
wasn't
little
rock.
The
clinton
12
are
being
honored
in
this,
and
I
will
have
more
information
later
in
the
year
for
ceremonies
that
we're
going
to
have
in
anderson
county
celebrating
them.
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.

you,
mr

consultation
with
the

The
following
bills
that
will
be
added
on
committee,
either
passed
out
of
committees
too
late
to
be
added
on
the
calendar
or
simply
just
to
a
technical
issue,
did
not
make
it
onto
the
calendar,
but
all
of
these
were
intended
to
go
on
the
calendars
for
next
week.
So
I'll
have
a
series
of
motions.
Thank
you,
mr
speaker.
