world

many
areas
and
with
many
clients

that
we
call
feature
energy
and,
in
the
context,
feature.

Energy
refers
to
a
commitment
to
supporting
communities
and
navigating
the
transition
towards
a
future
of
affordable,
reliable
and
low-carbon
energy
to
achieve
lasting
global
benefits
by
myself
and
ghd's
global
leader
or
future
energy,
we
have
in
the
Kogan
age,
seeing
tremendous
changes
in
the
way
we
produce
stream.
Energy
energy
demand
is
down
across
the
world
in
all
sectors,
and
that
is
largely.

We
focused
activities
on
utilizing
the
renewable
energy
while
furthering
the
trend
of
retiring
fossil
fuel
assets,
for
example,
on
terror,
retired
its
coal-fired
power
plant
several
years
ago,
leading
to
reduce
greenhouse
gas
emissions
and
improve
their
quality.
Yeah
far
fewer
smog
days
across
the
world
we've
seen
energy
decreases
during
coverage
by
up
to
20
percent,
which
is
extremely
significant.
Even
as
oil
prices
have
dropped,
it
Oracle,
stressing
the
traditional
energy
delivery
mechanisms.
We
are
seeing
a
rapid
transition
in
the
energy
sector,
one
that
we
didn't
foresee
happening
for
at
least
twenty
years.

One
of
the
most
important
aspects
of
low-carbon
energy
is
the
carbonization
in
the
electricity
sector,
we're
all
familiar
with
wind
and
solar
assets,
of
which
we
have
many
in
Ontario.
Now,
however,
the
largest
portion
of
the
energy
we
consume
is
not
electricity,
which
only
accounts
for
20%
of
demand
globally,
the
rapp,
the
other
80%,
is
for
heating
and
transportation
in
that,
through
a
sector
that
has
referred
us
to
go
in
terms
of
decarbonisation,
the
solution
is
required
in
the
space.

We
believe
the
city's
program
of
generating
renewable
natural
gas
from
its
organic
waste
is
a
key
element
of
the
next
generation
of
decarbonisation
in
the
energy
sector,
especially
as
it
relates
to.
We
call
that
80%
problem
in
the
non
electricity
sector.
The
city
is
using
established
technology
to
avoid
flaring
on
a
set.
That's
considerable,
be
enough
gas
emission
reduction
opportunity,
while
creating
a
resource
that
displaces
fossil
fuel
derived
natural
gas.
These
are
the
types
of
solutions
we
will
accelerate
decarbonisation
in.
To
my
knowledge,
the
city
has
the
largest.

You
know
convinced
anaerobic
digestion
in
renewable
natural
gas
program,
north
macca,
the
further
element
of
utilizing
a
renewable
product
to
offsets
to
the
natural
gas
demand
through
the
models
that
we
have
not
seen
executed
with
this
clarity
and
there's
one
that
provides
a
market
for
the
renewable
product
in
a
very
sensible
way.
We
believe
this
template
and
this
model
will
be
replicated
by
many
other
municipality
there
in
the
private
sector,
many
of
whom
are
THD
clients
of
the
push.
The
decarbonisation
increases
and
note
that
that
push
continues
aggressively.

Now
more
than
ever,
as
governments
around
the
world
considered,
building
back
better
approach
to
energy
system,
investing
stimulus,
money,
you
neural
energy
infrastructure
as
a
priority,
we
are
very
encouraged
to
GHD
by
what
the
city
is
doing
here
and
showing
them
leadership,
position
and
utilizing
technology
to
make
plans
I
mean
even
greenhouse
gas
emission
reductions
using
a
resource
anyway.
It's
organic
waste
generally
day
after
day,
but
the
city
residents.
This
is
a
model
that
we
believe
will
be
replicated
across
North
America
of
the
pole
and
the
push
towards
the
carbonization
continues.

14.
Seven,
my
name
is
rob
dice,
which
I'm
a
Business,
Development,
Manager
and
Enbridge
gas
specializing
in
low-carbon
solutions,
with
focus
on
renewable
natural
gas.
I've
had
the
privilege
of
appearing
in
front
of
this
committee
three
times
previously,
but
I
have
to
admit
this.
One
is
probably
the
most
weird
and
nerve-wracking.
So
please
bear
with
me
so
the
first
time
I
was
here.

It
was
in
support
of
the
city's
decision
to
switch
from
diesel
to
compressed
natural
gas
for
the
refuse
fleet
it
moved
that
reduces
truck
emissions.
By
about
20
percent
and
lowered
your
fuel
cost
Enbridge
has
since
constructed
and
operates
three
CNG
fueling
facilities
for
Toronto
servicing
over
150
refuse
vehicles
running
on
that
clean
fuel.

The
third
time
we
met
was
in
support
of
the
committee's
recognition
of
RNG
as
an
effective
tool
in
fighting
climate
change.
In
essence,
by
converting
flared
biogas
to
renewable
natural
gas,
the
city
designed
an
in-house
solutions
solution
as
a
response
to
the
climate
emergency
declaration
made
by
council
a
little
bit
earlier
in
time
this
morning,
I'm
here
to
congratulate
you
for
faithfully
executing
on
a
strategy
that
started
way
way
back
when
you
first
endorsed
the
green
bin
organics
program,
something
that
makes
this
possible.

That
vision
leads
you
to
the
decision
in
front
of
you
today,
where
you
have
an
opportunity
to
recommend
that
the
city
will
self
consume
renewable
natural
gas
by
socializing,
the
costs
across
all
city
properties,
and
because
you
are
doing
so
by
displacing
inexpensive
natural
gas.
The
the
impact
is
literally
pennies
on
the
dollar
two
to
three
seconds:
to
be
more
precise
and
just
out
of
interest.
This
is
roughly
equivalent
to
the
price
of
off-peak
electricity
in
Ontario
at
about
13
cents,
a
kilowatt
hour
as
dr.

believe

endorsement
today

way

other
municipalities
to
emulate
an
effective
and
affordable
strategy
for
climate
fighting

change

Enbridge

your
gas

much
needed

sights

now
set
on

city's

Jennifer
green
and
I'm.
The
executive
director
of
the
Canadian
biogas
Association,
the
CBA,
is
the
collective
voice
of
the
BAA
gas
and
renewable
natural
gas
industry
in
Canada,
with
focus
on
building
the
biogas
sector
across
the
country.
We
are
a
non-for-profit
member-based
association
with
over
140
members,
including
farmers,
municipalities,
technology
developers,
consultants,
finance
and
insurance
firms,
utilities
and
other
affiliate
representatives.

In
my
10
years
involved
in
this
industry,
I've
watched
the
biogas
and
renewable
natural
gas
sector
in
Canada
grow
immensely.
If
it's
developed
from
a
few
operations
in
Ontario
to
a
proven
technology
deployed
across
the
country
and
the
province
in
helping
to
address
some
of
the
most
pressing
issues
from
climate
change
to
soil
degradation
to
waste
management
and
renewable
energy
and
fuels
in
the
last
decade,
the
focus
in
Ontario
has
been
mainly
using
biogas
to
generate
electricity
and
heat,
and
there
is
significant
opportunity
to
generate
renewable
natural
gas.

Orangie
is
a
direct
substitute
for
fossil,
based
not
to
pests
which
can
be
injected
directly
into
the
natural
gas
grid
or
used
in
natural
gas
engines.
As
a
transportation,
fuel
orangy
is
considered
a
carbon
neutral
supply,
given
its
origin
from
biogenic
sources.
The
City
of
Toronto
has
a
significant
opportunity
to
shape
the
circular
economy
by
implementing
this
project.

These
participants
identified
that
RNG
pipeline
injection
using
RNG
for
transportation
and
green
procurement
policies
are
key
elements
to
successful
project
development,
which
mirrors
what
has
been
proposed
in
the
report
table
today.
The
signature
on
tow
report
demonstrates
leadership
in
advancing
the
circular
economy
and
climate
action
today.
Rng
is
a
proven
technology
with
11
facilities
installed
and
operating
across
Canada.

In
2008,
the
City
of
Surrey
NBC
began
operating
a
orangy
facility
capable
of
converting
municipal
organic
waste
into
local,
clean
energy.
That
RNG
is
used
to
feel
the
city's
fleeting
Matthew
gasping
Mills
and
is
injected
into
the
natural
gas
in
the
city
of
st.
hyacinth
enables
the
municipality
to
cut
its
energy
costs,
reduce
greenhouse
gas
emissions
and
produced
clean
energy
for
local
consumption.
These
projects
are
examples
of
existing
projects
that
are
developed
and
in
operation
today
in
Canada
and
Toronto
would
join
this
group
of
leading
municipalities
in
RNG.

The
CBA
supports
this
report
city,
an
approach
to
reduce
any
dramatic
reductions
through
blending
oranges
or
gas.
There's
freaking
potential
for
emission
reductions
from
orangey
in
Canada,
and
the
CBA
has
additional
resources
for
municipalities.
If
the
infrastructure
and
environment
committee
would
like
to
learn
more
about
the
industry
and
the
benefits
of
orangey.

conversations
with
staff
about
this
in
the
past,
but
are
we
planning
on
bringing
anything
forward?
At
least
I
didn't
see
in

report?
I
may
have
missed
it
about
scaling
this
up
to
other
municipalities,
because
we
have
developed
a
great
great,
as
we've
heard,
from
all
the
deputies,
a
great
technology
that
there's
potential
for
in
every
municipality
that
collects
organics.
Some
of
these
smaller
municipalities
might
not
have
the
expertise
to
implement
it
right
away,
but
we
do
when
we've
created
it
in-house.

through
you,

we
we're
looking
at
that.
To
be
quite
honest,
one
of
the
things
we
want
to
do
first
is
make
sure
that
the
doctrine
facility
for
ourselves
is
a
success,
and
then
we
can
really
move
that
forward.
But
it's
definitely
something
that's
been
on
the
radar
and
is
near
and
dear
to
a
number
of
our
senior
staff
hearts
and
in
trying
to
help
out
other
municipalities.

charging

on
repair
and
maintenance
upgrade

standard
work
that
needs
to
this
asset
moving.
What
we're
not
charging
is
expansion
into
other
facilities

gas
operations.

we
will
be
doing
is
coming
back
similar
to
this,
with
any
other
expansions
in
our
renewable
natural
gas
portfolio,
asking
again
for
a
full
cost
recovery
of
that
project,
each
time,
just
to
make
sure
that
we
are
truly
recovering
the
cost.

a
solution,

pipes

contractor
out
gave
me
a
quote:
it
was
pretty
high,
so
I
asked
for,
like
the
mom
and
the
the
mom
and
pop
shop
to
come
by,
and
they
gave
me
a
quote,
it
was
about
half
the
price.

It
struck
me
that
the
city
contractor
was
elevating
the
cost
because
they
could,
because
they
know
it's
it's
more
convenient.
If
they,
if
they
do
it
alone,
it
turns
out.
It
was
way
more
convenient
because
the
the
city
conduct
coordinating
the
city
and
the
additional
contractor
is
quite
difficult,
and
you
have
twice
you
have
the
water
shut-off
twice.

have
a
hole
dug
on
your
lawn
and
so
when,
after
moving
to
a
slightly
larger
home,
so
that
I
can
have
another
child
in
the
family,
we
did
it
again
and
I
say,
because
they
were
LED
pipes
again
and
I
said:
there's
no
way,
I'm
having
this
done
twice.
Let's
just
we'll
pay
that
we'll
pay
the
people
the
higher
fee.
The
problem
there
is
I
think
there
elevating
the
cost.

look
at
this
many
many
times
over
the
years
and
from
a
legal
perspective,
there's
nothing
that
we
could
do
to
compel
essentially
a
third-party
transaction.
What
is
occurring
between
the
homeowner
and
whichever
contractor
that
that
homeowner
so
chooses
to
utilize
to
do
their
private
side
replacement.
The
city
cannot
interfere
in
that
arrangement,
so
there's
no
way
for
us
to
interject
into
the
third-party
agreement.
So
that
has
been
the
challenge
on.
How
does
the
city
get
involved
on
private
side
without
assuming
a
significant
number
of
liabilities
of
going
on
the
private
property?

So
that's
why
we've
always
stayed
removed.
We
have
encouraged
the
city's
contractors
whenever
we
put
our
contracts
out
for
or
any
replacement.
Let
is
only
one
of
the
substandard
services
that
we
replace.
We
always
include
in
there
that
they
would
use
commercial
best
efforts
that
provide
that
price
and
legally
there's
nothing
for
us
to
compel
them
to
to
do
anything
differently.
So
it's
a
care
marketplace.

uptake

grant
programs
and
we
also
investigated
loan
programs
as
well
as
providing
some
input
as
to
what
would
it
be
the
impact
for
homeowners
to
receive
financing
through
their
own
mortgage
company
or
or
bank.
At
this
time,
we've
made
no
recommendations
that
the
city
enter
into
any
of
those
types
of
programs.

in
the

actually

estimate
of
the
city
own
portion
of
the
lead
pipe
twenty
four
thousand.
There
probably
is
more
than
twenty
four
thousand
homes
that
have
the
private
side
that
have
lead.
We
do
not
have
accurate
data,
nor
do
we
have
a
database
that
indicates
which
house
still
has
private
led
services,
because
we,
the
city,
never
compiled
that
data.
So
the
only
way
for
a
homeowner
to
figure
out
whether
they
have
a
problem
or
not.

The
quick
check
is
how
old
is
their
home.
It
was
a
home
that
was
built
in
1960,
70s
and
80s
very
unlikely.
They
have
a
lead
service,
they
might
have
used
lead
solder
and
LED
fixtures
at
that
time.
So
there
is
still
some
amounts
of
lead,
but
the
biggest
contributor

we
put

meter

for
them

have
a

the

protection
program
and
that
program

still
in
place
and

funded,

we
continue
to
encourage
people
to
take
advantage
of
that

offer

getting

of
their
cars
in
calgary
city
staff
found
that
one
in
three
e
scooter
shared
trips
replaced
the
car
trip
in
their
city,
supporting
local
business

connecting
riders

found
that
over
50%
of
each
scooter
share
trips
ended
in
a
bia
or
business
revival.

using

of

were

hand,

25%
of
motor
vehicles
in
these
cities
were
improperly
parked.

forward

in

don't
have
that
regulatory
framework
for
committee

council
to
review
all
the
details
about
how
staff
plan
a
safe,
compliant,
equitable
and
accessible
scooter
program.
All
the
while,

course,
cities
like
Kelowna,
Calgary,
Edmonton,
Waterloo,
Montreal
Westmount,
have
implemented
scooter
share
programs
Ottawa's
doing
that
this
month,
Windsor
and

Ontario
are
clean
later

injuries

disabilities

had
the
personal
pleasure
of
providing
service
to
spinal
cord
injury
Ontario
for
20
years
and
among
my
20
years
of
service,
I
have
probably
seen
hundreds
of
thousands
of
people
get
injured
in
our
streets
and
our
province
and
I'm
hugely
concerned.

is
considering
a
recreational
device
as
a
commuting
device.
I
have
seen
many
injuries
in
my
MI
career
and
I
think
we're
exposing
our
citizens
to
potential
risk.
We
have
seen
many
pilots,

increases
in
emergency
visits.
We've
seen
brain
injuries,
we've
seen
concussions
I
think
that
this
initiative
is
going
to
bring
a
lot
of
risk
and
liability

harm
to

the

the
residents

the
city

urge
this
council
to
take
a
step
back
and
do
further
investigation
further
research.

huge
concerns
of
creating
extenuating
new
barriers
to
people
with
disabilities.

not
seen

great
enforcement
strategy
from
other

and
I'd

very
interested
to
know
what

severity

those
injuries
were
with

we've
also
seen

increases
in

business

pilots
at
a

we're

risk
of
our
hospitals

inflated

the
pandemic.

priority

Ontario

extended
our
commitment
to
safety
by
sourcing.
What
we
feel
is
the
safest,
a
scooter
on
the
market
from
a
company

decades

experience
and
low
carbon
electric
micro
mobility.

sourced
bright,
yellow
helmets
to
improve
rider
visibility

developed
safety,
training,
programs
and
lessons
which
can
be
introduced

public

are
very
excited

the
proposed

2021
pilot.

months

greater
citywide
Toronto
pilot
would
see
ridership
numbers
far
greater
on
last
year's
Calgary
pilot
of
750,000
trips
in
three
months
and

Chicago,
which
was
about
eight
hundred
thousand
trips
in
four
months.

pilot
with
the
Toronto
it
with
the
transportation
innovation
zones,
the
TTC,
Bike,
Share
and
active
Keogh
programs
means

could
get
better
ridership
numbers

better
quality
data.

would
improve
connection

more
local
economic
activity
and
supporting
communities
throughout

remove
existing
barriers

introduction

new

find
as

blind
person,
I
hate
to
say
this,
but
I
find
Toronto
the
city
I
love.
Our
wonderful
city
is
becoming
less
accessible
to
me
and
not
more
accessible.
Yes,
you
heard
me
right.
Members
of
the
committee
I
find
the
city
is
becoming
less
accessible
and
not
more.
Let
me
give
you
some
examples.
What
do
I
find
on
our
streets
sandwich
boards,
bicycle
racks,
bicycles,
strewn
on
the
sidewalk
construction
sites
almost
everywhere,
and
one
of
the
counselors
early
referred
to
those
cement
planters.

It's
been
a
while,
since
I've
been
on
st.
George,
Street
but
I'm
afraid
to
say
that
my
shins
still
remember
the
last
time.
I
was
there.
They
are
a
menace
to
people
like
me,
but
it's
worse
than
that.
We
now
have
to
deal
with
the
silent
killer.
That's
the
quiet
car,
and
now
we
are
we
are
then
we
may
have
to
deal
with
yet
another
piece
of
silent
menace
on
our
streets.
This
is
an
issue
that
should
be
of
concern
to
all
pedestrians,
but
it's
particularly
so
to
people
like
me.

Our
city
has
become
difficult
enough
for
me
to
navigate
safely,
and
this
will
only
make
it
more
and
more
difficult.
The
notion
that
they
can
be
saved
to
me
is
ridiculous.
Inevitably
people
will
be
injured.
Our
healthcare
system
is
already
overused
and
overburdened
due
to
the
current
pandemic
and
any
suggestions
that
this
is
a
good
time
flies
in
the
face
of
that
notion.
This
is
the
worst
time
I.
Don't
understand
why
the
committee
is
in
such
a
hurry
to
deal
with
this
issue,
especially
in
these
times.

is
an
issue
that
is
must
be
put
to
rest.
The
only
real
the
only
real
answer
to
this
issue
is
to
ban
the
introduction
of
East
scooters
on
Toronto
sidewalks,
an
answer
to
the
question
about
bicycles.

they

problem,

if
they're
there

road,

of
safety
from

not

perfect,

not

at
least
it's

devices

up

has

important
things

dollars

bare

idea

mobility
industry
since
2004

branch.
If

seen
Segway
tours

Ontario
Place

distillery
district,
that's
us
we've
been
doing
that
since
2005.

also
supply
a
lot
of
mobility,
solutions
to
municipalities,
greenhouses,
police
departments,
individuals
as
well,
and
since
2004
we've
successfully
trained
over
100,000
people
to
ride
segways,
electric
scooters
and
other
similar
personal
mobility
devices,
and
in
that
time
I
really
want
to
stress
this.
Safety
has
always
been
and
will
continue
to
be,
our
primary
concern
and
that's
why
we're
in
favour
of
a
scooter
share
program
that
is
able
to
emphasize
training
as
well
as
helmet
use
as
a
retailer
of
Segway
electric
scooters.
We've
seen
demand
for
these
devices
of
skyrocket.
Since
the
pandemic
it
began.

Individuals
are
looking
for
ways
to
travel
and
practice
social
distancing,
all
doing
stone,
and
what
we've
seen
from
our
customer
base
in
the
last
few
months
is
that
they
represent
a
very
diverse
of
ages,
economic
backgrounds,
professions,
etc.
I,
my
partner
trained
someone
that
was
16
the
other
day
and
in
the
same
day
somebody
that
was
75
bought
one
of
these
scooters.
So
you
see
this
huge
diversity
of
people
that
want
micro
mobility.

The
second
idea
that
I
want
to
put
forward
is
that
our
company,
as
a
stance,
we
do
remain
firmly
in
support,
slow
and
measure
the
rollout
for
a
scooter
share
program,
and
we
also
support
administering
it
in
a
similar
way
to
bike
share
to
maintain
accountability
and
a
higher
degree
of
Public.
Safety
I
agree
that
there
are
safety
concerns
and
that's
why
I'm,
personally,
supportive
of
a
slow
roll
up
to
make
sure
we
get
this
right,
but
the
historic
reality.
Everyone
is
that
micro
mobility
is
not
going
anywhere,
especially
during
and
after
the
pandemic.

seek
out

types
of
transportation
methods,

scooter
program
will

help
increase

people

major
scooter
companies
operating
in
Canada
and
the
largest
provider
of
micro
mobility
in
the
world
currently
operating
in
around
100
cities.
Globally.
I'm
pleased
to
comment
on
the
report
from
transportation
services
and
active
tío
regarding
a
scooters,
a
vision,
zero
safety
approach.
First,
we
want
to
commend
the
agency
in
this
committee
on
recognizing
the
need
to
bring
scooters
to
Toronto.

Most
cities
of
Toronto
stature
in
Europe,
North,
America
and
Australia
have
scooters
operating
already
or
are
expected
to
launch
them
later
this
year.
This
includes
Chicago
commencing
a
pilot
this
summer
and
New
York
City,
where
City
Council
recently
approved
a
bunch
of
scooters
with
a
3839
to
eighth
vote
in
Paris,
where
mayor
and
Hidalgo
is
seeking
to
eliminate
the
need
for
cars
in
the
central
city.
Bike
share
is
reaching
record
ridership
levels
alongside
hi
scooter
usage,
which
and
Paris
hosts
the
largest
fleet
of
scooters
in
the
world.

Here
in
Canada,
Auto
will
be
launching
scooters
as
soon
as
next
week
in
England
50
cities
and
moving
forward
with
scooters.
After
a
decision
mid-may
to
expedite
a
scooter
pilot
by
one
year
in
order
to
cope
with
an
85
percent
reduction
in
transit
capacity
due
to
Kovan
London
will
have
scooters
by
the
end
of
this
summer.
We
do
encourage
the
committee
to
work
to
seek
a
more
rapid
time
line
for
scooter
operations
and
to
embrace
solutions
that
free
the
city
that
are
free
to
the
city
and
reduce
reliance
on
cars.

The
reasons
for
our
recommendations
are
safety,
transportation
capacity
and
economic
recovery.
I'm
safety
I
was
going
to
recruit
the
same
study
that
Chris
Shaffer
mentioned
earlier.
It's
the
largest
of
its
time
study
in
the
world,
was
commissioned
by
the
OCC
to
you,
of
which
Canada
is
a
member
and
says
that
bikes
of
the
same
injury
rates
of
scooters,
end
of
the
clearest
path
foresees
like
Toronto,
where
there
are
60
over
60
road
deaths
a
year.
The
clearest
path
to
reducing
those
red
death
is
reduce
power,
use
and
increase
the
use
of
bikes
and
scooters.

In
fact,
the
safest
cities
in
the
world
to
be
a
pedestrian,
Oslo
and
Helsinki,
which
had
zero
traffic
day
last
year,
embrace
these
scooters
with
thousands
in
their
fleet
and
they
work
hard
to
reduce
car
use.
They
also
successfully
resolve
the
questions
of
accessibility.
Most
of
the
capitals
of
Europe
are
very
embraces,
including
cities
that
resemble
Toronto,
such
as
the
15
cities
that
have
Kemper
ibly
sized
streetcar
systems
and
who
have
similar
weather
to
Toronto.
Scooters
have
been
redesigned
since
they
first
arrived
over
two
years
ago.

Tab
and
welcome
to
ride
be
more
resilient,
given
the
injury
rates
on
bikes
and
scooters
are
approximately
the
same.
We
believe
it
cut
really
comes
down
to
user
preference
of
what
type
of
sustainable
mode
they
choose
to
take
to
fit
their
needs.
In
fact,
with
respect
to
user
preference
in
the
gender
gap
that
we
do
see
in
biking,
scooters
are
part
of
the
solution
in
Calgary,
women
make
up
42%
of
scooter
users,
but
only
25%
of
cyclists
in
calgary,
and
only
33%
of
cyclists.

In
toronto
for
vulnerable
euro
users,
our
approach
has
been
to
work
together
in
coordination
with
the
disability
community
to
pass
appropriate
policies,
conduct
robust
rider
education,
videos
and
introduce
technology
to
eliminate
sidewalk
riding
and
parking
issues
that
keep
everyone
safe
on
sustainability
and
transportation
capacity.
Scooters
can
play
a
critical
role
as
well
as
they're
playing
in
London,
helping
to
address
the
cat
transit
capacity
crunch
without
forcing
people
into
their
cars
50
to
60
percent
of
our
users
are
frequent.

Transit
riders
and
approximately
10
percent
of
our
trips
are
connections
to
public
transit
globally,
not
no
more
recreational
device
than
bikes.
37
percent
of
our
trip,
surfer,
commutes
and
42
percent
of
trips
are
for
dining
or
shopping
if
recreational
means
that
people
like
to
ride
them
and
that's
a
good
thing
because
it
reduces
unnecessary
car
use
in
a
manner
that
makes
cities
better.

Our
data
from
a
global
survey
shows
that
already
since
kovat
began,
6
percent
of
people
have
purchased
a
car,
since
that's
a
semi
pandemic
began
practically
driven
by
loss
of
access
to
transit
or
fear
of
writing
transit.
Meanwhile,
municipal
data
from
Portland
Oregon
shows
that
during
a
four
month,
scooter
pilot
six
percent
of
people
actually
sold
a
car
and
16
percent
considered
doing
so.
Furthermore,
an
overwhelming
share
of
scooter
riders
78
percent
do
not
ride
public
bike
share.

That
means
that
as
a
solution
which
is
Friedan,
City
scooter
use,
expands
the
use
of
active
transportation
and
reduces
power
reliance.

Toronto
bike
share
already
does
well
at
expanding
the
share
of
residents
willing
to
use
active
transportation.
This
expanded
even
further,
if
you
could
relate
yeah
overall
scooters,
are
a
compliment.

organizations
represent

business
community

heart
of
our
city's
urban
center,
both
collectively
and
individually.

measured
approach
staff
have
taken

towards
regulation

scooters

state
that
our
organizations
support
the
recommendation
for
a

2021
East
group,

approach

allow
staff

necessary
time
to
develop
and
implement
a
pilot
that
works
for
Toronto
in
port
and
central
to
any
successful.

scooter
pilot
in
Toronto
is
an
organized,
and
well-managed
parking
system
must
be
implemented
to
avoid
the
many
challenges
and
growing
pains
that
other
cities
have
experienced
during
their
own
pilots.

Additionally,
as
caretakers
of
the
public
realm,
our
VI
is,
must
be
consulted
and
involved
with
a
selection
of
parking
locations
in
our
spaces.
This
is
critical
to
ensure
we
can
continue
to
me
to
manage
and
maintain
a
high
quality
public
realm
throughout
the
pilot
and
finally,
as
you're
all
very
aware,
Co
mid-nineteen
has
been
incredibly
impactful
on
businesses
in
the
downtown
core
and
across
Toronto.

That
is
why,
in
addition
to
the
proposed
TPA
parking
arrangement,
we're
encouraging
city
staff
to
consider
implementing
a
concurrent
model
to
allow
parking
arrangements
between
private
property
owners
and
a
scooter
operators,
such
arrangements
could
help
provide
income
and
support
recovery,
they're
struggling
businesses
and
an
enable
alternative
parking
options
when
public
realm
locations
are
not
available.
We
look
forward
to
the
introduction
of
a
successful
and
collaborative
pilot
in
2021.

it

all
considered
approaches
have
not
worked.
We
want
these
alternatives
to
be
accepted
in

long
term

responsive
and
they
need
to
be
responsibly
implemented.

certainly
understand
the
potential
problems
and
are
trusting
that
staff
and
the
Toronto
parking
authority
will
consider
the
next
steps
very
carefully
to
bring
micro
mobility
online.
We
also
want
to
ask
you
to
add
a
an
extension
to
recommendation
number
one
that
would
permit
more
public
consultation
of
the
general
public
through
the
implementation
of
this
process.

now
and
and
the
next
report
in
May.
There
is
the
intention
and
recommendation
number
one
to
consult
with
internal
agencies.

think
those
are
important
and
also
with
people
with
disabilities,
which
is
exceptionally
important,
but
we
also
think
it's
very
important
that
residents,
associations
and
organizations
representing,
for
example,
seniors
and
pedestrian
safety
advocates,
have
the
opportunity
to
input
to
all
the
decisions
that
are
going
to
be
made
on
the
various
issues
between
now
and
that
report
being
sent
to
the
committee
in
May.
So
we're
asking
that
some
protests
be
put
in
place
that
we
have
input
to
those
decisions
as
they're
being
considered
and
the
options
that
are
being
considered.

I
think
that
each
city
and
country
has
a
different
context
and
I
don't
believe
that
anyone,
especially
regarding
sidewalk
writing
enforcement,
have
gotten
it
right.
So
Tel
Aviv
issued
21,000
tickets
for
illegal
sidewalk
writing
in
2019.
They
have
a
team
of
over
20
enforcement
officers
just
for
the
sidewalk
writing
issue.

Berlin
also
has
spoken
to
the
issues
with
sidewalk,
writing
and
I
can't
remember
the
number
of
tickets,
but
it
was
in
the
thousands
see
I
think
the
challenge
is
that
each
country
and
city
has
a
different
liability
and
insurance
regime,
so
in
New
Zealand.
What
is
great
is
that
they
have
an
accident
compensation
corporation,
so
anyone
injured,
whether
it's
the
rider
or
someone
injured
by
a
writer
of
access
to
compensation.
What.

through

would
suggested

based
on
the
information
that
Jana
shared
as
well.
Neither
the
Toronto,
Police
Service
nor
the
City
of
Toronto
in
any
bylaw
capacity
would
have
that
number
of
people
available
for
that
level
of
enforcement.
That
would
not
be
in
an
expectation
we
could
meet
so.

I
mean
one
of
the
things
that
we
would
like
to
see.
For
instance,
in
Quebec,
there's
a
low
speed
electric
kick
scooter
and
they
need
turn
signals,
for
instance,
because
if
someone
on
an
electric
kick
scooter
is
going
straight
or
making
a
right
turn
or
a
left
turn
there's
a
device
in
Quebec
that
has
turn
signals
on
the
device.
We're
interested
in
making
sure
that
the
steering
wheel
doesn't
have
a
very
sharp
turning
circle
which
can
be
dangerous
or
if
the
front
wheel
hits
a
pavement.

Crack
could
could
potentially
flip
someone
over
the
handlebar
so
turning
radius,
the
wheel
traction.
Actually,
the
that
oacd
report
did
suggest
that
there
should
be
additional
device
standards
like
tire
traction
suspension,
wheel,
size
and
the
like.
So
we
think
that
the
pilot
project
regulations
could
enhance
the
device
effects
and
that
way,
a
consumer
purchasing.
A
privately
owned
device
can
have
some
assurances
about
the
device
that
they're
using
for
their
own
use,
on
their
commute
or
or
for
recreation
or
for
whatever
purpose.
So
that
was
one
the
the
standard.

The
second
one
that
we're
asking
for
is
that
the
collision
template
that
the
province
has
includes
a
field
for
electric
scooter,
because
otherwise
what
the
guidance
is
through
the
all
Chiefs
memo
to
police
services
in
Ontario
is
that
you
check
off
bicycle,
which
is
very
confusing,
because
if
someone
has
been
in
a
collision
on
a
knee
scooter,
it's
going
to
be
represented
as
a
bicycle.
And
then
police
are
individually
going
to
have
to
the
notation
in
the
notes
create
some
sort
of
additional
note
like
a
code
and
if
they
don't
have
the
right
code.

This
is
going
to
be
manually
very
labor-intensive,
to
try
and
figure
out
piece
together
any
collision
data,
so
we're
asking
for
the
province
to
update
their
collision,
template
to
simply
to
add
it
out
of
code
for
e
scooters.
We're
asking
for
a
few
enhanced
standards
so
that
both
personal
use
and
shared
a
scooter
riders
can
have
some
assurances
about
the
devices
that
they're
using
those
are
the
primary
one.

So
what
we're
recommending
is
that
we
city
staff
do
some
engagement
with
the
insurance
industry
with
potential
the
easier
companies
and
the
province
to
talk
about
available
insurance
for
first
and
third
party
coverage.
If
micro
mobility
is
going
to
continue
to
be
a
real
thing,
this
is
an
important
field.
I
think
the
UK
has
suggesting
that
there
should
be
first
in
third-party
coverage.
A
scooters
are
still
going
to
be
deemed
motor
vehicles
through
the
UK
pilot
and
will
be
will
be
required
to
have
insurance.

the
case
of
a
a
third-party
operating,
a
scooter
share
because
right
now,
I
bike,
but
my
homeowners
insurance
covers
it.
If
I'm,
a
renter
and
I
have
rental
insurance
covers
it,
there's
a
gap
there
for
cyclists
without
rental
insurance
that
wouldn't
get
covered,
correct,
that's
been
a
long-established
gap,
I
think
yeah
and
then,
in
the
case
of
these
third
parties,
so
who
holds
the
insurance
in
the
case
of
a
bike
share?
Is
it
our
operator?
Is
it
TPA,

Yes,
I
mean
first
of
all,
I
think
there's
been
a
lot
of
selective,
selective
excerpting
from
the
different
reports,
because
the
first
of
all
the
OECD
International
transport
forum
actually
said
that
there's
some
studies
that
suggest
the
hospitalization
rate
is
higher
for
eighth
graders
than
for
bicycles.
It
is
also
a
corporate
board
that
funded
the
report.
I
think
it's
really
important
to
have
arms
like
third
party,
peer-reviewed
study
and
I
think
it's
also
really
important.
None
of
the
studies
so
far
look
at
injuries
in
terms
of
how
many
kilometers
are
traveled.

These
scooter
trips
are
relatively
short,
whereas
cycling
trip
and
the
car
trips
are
longer
they're
farm.
You
also
have
to
normalize
it.
The
denominator
is
the
number
of
trips
and
the
number
of
drivers
and
cyclists,
but
I
think
there's
a
lot
more
study.
That
needs
to
be
done.
That
presents
the
information
in
a
meaningful
way
and
that's.

think

It
is
a
good
report.
It
sort
of
outlines
that
we
don't
have
all
the
information
yet
but
we'd
like
to
keep
working
on.
It

it's
very
honest
report
in
that
way,
rather
than
taking
one
side
or
another
at
this
point,
there
I
think
keeping
the
keeping
the
door
open
and
and
and
recommending
that
we
dig
a
little
bit
deeper
and
that's
kind
of
how
I
feel
about
this.

it
was
I
think
five
years
ago,
when
I
first
put
forward
a
motion
about
doclist
bikes.
That
then
were
a
new
thing
and
I
thought
it
would
address
some
of
our
trouble
that
we
were
having
with
managing
the
right-of-way
for
four
stations
for
our
our
bike
share
program
that
then,
as
micro
mobility
grew,
the
Segway
came
up,
went
and,
and
these
scooters
became
more
popular
globally.

Think
very
optimistic
that
this
would
be
something
that
we
would
want
to
undertake
when
when
I
first
started
thinking
about
this
and
putting
forward
motions
to
get
a
stop
report,
but
the
more
I
learned
and
I
think
the
more
data
that
came
out,
I
think
it.
It
has
me
not
yet
convinced,
but
I'm
still
intrigued
enough.

think
we
should
keep
the
door
open
and
and
continue
to
at
least
look
at
this,
given
that
there
there
are
counselors
across
North
America
that
are
singing
the
praises
of
these
of
these
scooters
and
that
don't
come
from
the
private
sector
lobbyists.
But
there
are
serious
safety
concerns
that
are
showing
up
in
some
of
the
data
and
and
I
think
as
lawmakers
as
policymakers
and
in
Toronto.
We
need
to
take
that
very
seriously
and
I'd
really
look
to
our
staff
of
Public
Health
to
help
give
us
guidance
to
that
effect.

close
by
saying
and
like
Jennifer
and
I,
were
in
Copenhagen
Christie
for
tea,
and
it
was
incredibly
surprising
to
see
just
the
number
of
vehicles
like
this
strewn,
all
about
so
I
think
any
solution
is
gonna.
First
address
that
that
issue
of
those
sort
of
road
side,
right-of-way
pollution
that
that
can
result
from
vehicles
like
this.
Now,
in
my
conversations
with
the
industry,
it
seems
like
there
are
some
workable
solutions,
but
that
won't
quite
get
us
past
the
the
safety
issues
that
I
still
think
meet
consideration.

there
is
a
motion
if
the
clerk
can
put
it
up,
so
it's
a
replacing
recommendation,
one
with
a
modification
that
has
a
report
back
earlier
at
November,
5th,
2020
infrastructure
and
Environment
Committee.
In
addition,
it
is
asking
for
some
additional
public
consultations
based
on
the
requests
from
counseling,
as
well
as
additional
information
about
right-of-way
and
what
that
could
potentially
looked
at
look
like
also.
This
is
so
that
we
can
look
at
the
safety
data
in
more
detail
around
scooters
that
is
available
so
far
as
well
as
some
best
practices
in
other
jurisdictions.

Overall,
I
just
want
to
be
clear
that
there
is
no
decision,
that's
being
made
today
that
we're
proceeding
with
these
scooters
in
the
City
of
Toronto
I.
Think
that
it's
important
that
we
look
at
this
in
November
and
what
a
potential
framework
for
any
sort
of
pilot
could
be.
The
original
recommendation
from
staff
was
reporting
back
in
in
2021
and
I.
Think
if
we
do
decide
that
we
want
to
opt
in
to
a
provincial
East
scooter
pilot
in
May,
2021
I
think
that
we
do
need
as
a
committee.

Another
touch
point
on
this:
to
ask
questions
to
gather
data
in
to
make
an
informed
decision
of
about
it.
They're
fine,
I've
written
one,
define
I
understand,
though,
accessibility
concerns,
I
had
even
a
letter
that
was
handwritten
to
me
from
a
colleague
at
Western
University
in
London.
You
know,
people
don't
even
write
handwritten
letters
anymore,
but
that
was
how
concerned
that
he
was
about
seeing
them
thrown
all
over
campus
and
that
it
was
an
eyesore
and
it
had
become
quite
dangerous,
so
I
think.

If
we
are
going
to
proceed,
everybody
is
in
agreement
that
we
want
it
to
be
in
a
way
that
is
safe
for
the
residents
of
Toronto,
but
also
does
give
them
more
options
to
get
where
they
need
to
go.
So,
hopefully
you
all
support
this
recommendation.
It's
had
inputs
from
both
the
councillor
pasternak,
as
well
as
councillor
leaden,
to
try
and
get
some
more
information
to
make
sure
we're
making
an
informed
decision.

some

and
most

these
cities
are
struggling
with
what
to
do
with

them
have
jumped
ahead

see
the
accidents
that
are
happening
in
hospitals
and
the
emergency
rooms.

worried
about
that.
My
preference
would
be
let
them
get
it
right
and
then
we'll
steal.
Well,
then,
I'll
take
their
ideas,
and
you
know
sometimes
we
venture
out
and
people
take
ideas
for
us,
but
I
think
this
is
a
solution
where
we
should.
We
should
be
looking
somewhere
else
for
what
their
solution
is.

told
that
staff
can't
enforce
the
bylaw,
they
can't
enforce
the
safety
and
they
can't
force
enforce
the
litter
on
the
street,
and
you
know
quite
frankly,
we
should
be
mindful

that

why
I
would
just
as
soon
put
this
file
down
and
pick
it
up
again
when
someone's
comp
with
solution,
and
we
have
enough
enforcement
officers
to
enforce
the
bylaw.
That's
the
reasonable
step
that
we
should
all
be
taking
here
today,
instead
of
jumping
ahead
of
ourselves
when
we
really
don't
have
to
today.
So

mentioned
that
this
thing
can
be
fun:
I've
written
the
scooter,
it's
inexpensive,
micro
travel,
but
I
think
we
all
know,
and
we
can't
kid
ourselves.
An
enforcement
in
this
city
is
very
difficult.
We
don't
have
the
resources
currently
to
abort
in
force
many
of
our
our
bylaws.
We
don't
have
the
the
resources
to
even
enforce
some
of
our
emergency
biological
burning
masks.
We
don't.
We
don't
have
the
resources
to
enforce
regulations
governing
leashes
and
dogs,
and
we
don't
have
the
resources
to
enforce
the
use
of
bicycles
on
sidewalks
and
there's.

doubt
you
would
need
you
would
need
an
army
to
really
regulate
this
I've
been
to
two
cities
that
have
have
scooters,
Denver
and
tel-aviv,
and
they
were
pretty
massive
volume
of
scooters
in
both
I
felt
Denver
was
a
mess.
Scooters
were
on
the
sidewalks.
They
were
just
strewn
all
over
the
place
when
you
see
it
stop
people
on
them.
It
looked
like
a
lot
of
fun
to
get
around,
and
but
clearly
the
city
had
its
problems
in
regulating
it.

already
I'm
supporting
comes
from
McKelvey's
motion
for
staff
to
report
back
I
liked.
The
idea
on
on
pilot
one
thing:
I
regret
in
our
questions
to
either
deputies
or
staff

how
the
distillery
district
pilot
went
last
year.
So
with
that,
I
would
just
conclude
my
remarks
that
more
work
has
to
be
done
on
this
file
that
I
thank
staff
with
for
the
work
done
so
far
and
that
while
it
has
potential,
it
has
risks,
and
we
have
to
weigh
all
of
that.

that
I'm,
not
just
talking
to
myself,
you
know,
I
I
saw
I
first
encountered
the
scooter
last
year
now
in
Italy.
I
would
I
happen
to
be
in
Italy
with
my
family
and
we're
sitting
in
a
Piazza
in
a
sort
of
a
cafe
setting,
and
there
was
this
one
guy
in
the
Piazza,
with
the
scooter
going
round
going
rongeur
and
it
it
created
a
sense
of
nuisance
and
it
created
a
sort
of
a
sense
of
calm.
I
I
I
happened
to
be
on
the
trail
yesterday
morning
at
the
Humber
trail
riding
my
bike
and
and
sure
enough
along
comes
a
guy
on
a
scooter
on
the
wrong
side
of
the
trail,
because
there's
no
markings
on
the
trail,
I
guess
and
there's
no
hash
marks
in
the
middle
of
it.
So
I
don't
know
people
don't
keep
to
the
right
that
kind
of
high
and
and
in
fact,
that
you
know
that
the
bushes
kind
of
overgrown
and
almost
ran
into
the
guy
or
he
ran
into
me.
I
was
on
the
right
side
of
the
trail.
I
I
They
were
walking
and
I
and
I
stopped
on
my
bicycle
and
I
asked
them
what
they
were
doing
and
they
were
basically
looking
for
people
on
I,
guess,
motorcyle
motorised
vehicles,
like
scooters
and
other
things
that
are
in
down
in
in
the
trail,
so
they
were
I,
guess
looking
to
enforce
and
told
them
that
most
people
that
ride
scooters
don't
get
up
till

of

dangerous

and

proactive

to

nice
thing

environment,

we

make

safe

drove
down

killed

innocent
people

Bathurst
Street,
where
I
guess
our
two
writings
have
more
synagogues
than
any
other
area
of
the
country
and
so
that
the
worshippers
of
the
synagogue's
as
they
tend
to
do
they
congregate
outside.

and
after
on
the
Sabbath.

go
on
foot
to
worship,
so
they
congregate
and
talk
with
children
with
strollers
families,
elderly
people,
so
they
have

the
situation
that
occurred

Yonge
Street

build,
reconstruct
major
streets

they
are
in
Bathurst

major
reconstruction

Bathurst,
Street

to

they
rebuild
the
bathroom,
Street
and
redo
the
sidewalks
that
they

into
consideration
the
building
of
some
protective
barriers

either
in
the

street
furniture

bollards

is
incorporate
that
in
the
street
design
they're,
not
it's
not
like
you're
building
barriers
but
you're
building.

a
very
strategic
type
of
placement
of
protective
barriers,
while
you're
redoing,
the
sidewalks
and
street
plus

bathra
street.

redevelopment
taking
place

the

parks,
budget
or
transportation
budget,
and
we
use
them
all
up

down
Bathurst
Street.

ran
out
of
them,
so
they
were
already

budget.

we

them

less
duties.

prefer
so
it's
it's
not
just
a
matter
of
dollars
and
cents,
because
I
think
the
dollars
and
cents
will
be
there
through

and
other
ongoing
reconstruction
projects
already
approved,

year

we
can
find
ways
of
garnering

money

security

is
a
proposal
that
comes
from
Darnell
and
his
group
first
I've
seen
it
a
committee
a
couple
of
times
related
my
understanding
and
last
time.
I
was
engaged
with
this.
It
was
around
the
French
West
Corridor,
mostly
having
a
cycling
facility
that
was
parallel
to
the
Finch
West
Corridor.
There's
been
significant
concerns
in
trying
to
move
forward.

chair,
you
know
how
long
it
takes
to
get
a
capital
program
through
the
system
and
20
if
it's
21
kilometers,
the
cost
of
that
would
be
stratospheric.
I've
got
a
project
that
I've
been
working
on
for
10
years
and
I'm.
Only
like
then
60%
through
and
I
still
don't
have
all
the
funding.
We
can't
be
sort
of
short-circuiting
the
process
at
the
cost
of
other
projects,
with
limiting
limited
funding
available.
There's
a
way
to
get
this
through
the
system
properly.
This
is
not
it
and
so
I
would.

you

respectfully
tell
the
councilor
that
he
has
to
work
this
to
staff
through
the
can
through
the
capital
budget
process,
and
it
has
to
be
considered
within
all
the
other
capital

projects
that
we're
considering

something

this
size
and
magnitude.

this
one
pager

you

I'm
very
uncomfortable
with
it.

move

referral

awestruck.

is
a
great
idea
by

sort
of
seen
the

you
have
in
this

staff
has
seen

kind

the
preliminary
drawings
on
this,
and
this
is
really
a
missed
opportunity
and
and

Why
do
I
say
that?
Because
you
know
we're
we're,
you
know
doing
an
LRT
line
on
Finch,
Avenue
and
and
mr.
I
Harris
proposed
some
time
ago,
that
there
was
an
opportunity
that
sort
of
take
the
sort
of
on-road
off-road
infrastructure
and
make
it
turn
it
up
a
notch
and
make
it
somewhat
more
magnificent,
as
opposed
to
just
kind
of
returning
a
roadway
that
that,
while
it
has
a
considerable
amount
of
improvements
in
a
while,
it
has
a
bicycle
lane.
That's
off
the
road
yeah,
mostly
off
the
road
that
it
could
be
turned
into
something,
far
more
grand
than
just
that
and
he's
been
trying
to
have
staff.
I
Take
a
look
at
it
in
a
serious
way
for
quite
some
time
and
has
also
identified
some
funding
sources
for
it.
At
the
federal
level.
Where
there's
a
there's,
a
considerable
environmental
component
to
the
project,
so
he's
been
trying
to
get
them
to
understand
it
and
sort
of
to
explain
it
to
the
to
the
staff
and
and
have
the
staff
really
understand
it.
I
understand
as
well.
I
So
so,
while
one
can
contemplate
all
of
the
issues
with
projects
of
their
size
in
the
planning
stage,
because
as
you
get
out
there
in
the
field,
it's
it's
kind
of,
you
know
think
of
it.
This
way,
when
you're
doing
some
renovations
to
your
home,
you
you
have
an
idea.
You
want
to
add
a
room,
so
you
you
contract
somebody
to
build
you
that
room
now,
when
he,
you
know,
punches
a
hole
through
your
wall
to
connect
that
room,
discovers
faulty
plumbing
and
and
faulty
electrical
work.
I
But
now
you
can't
fix
the
plumbing
and
you
can't
fix
the
electrical
work
work
because
it
becomes
cost
prohibitive
because
your
contract
has
been
worked
in
such
a
way
that
it,
but
literally
quite
literally,
you
have
to
finish
the
new
room
and
then
dig
it
all
up
again
and
dig
up
the
walls
later
on.
To
put
in
your,
you
know
the
plumbing:
to
fix
the
plumbing,
to
fix
the
electrical
work
and
it's
it's
such
an
awkward
way
to
you
know
to
you
know,
a
walk
or
these
contracts,
and
so
so
that's
that's
really
what
this!

this
motion
intends
to
do
is
it's
to
have.
You
know
us,
look
at
a
Finch
Avenue
and
make
it
you
know,
enhance
it.
I
also
understand
councilman
and
Wong's
trepidations.

there's

way
to
applying
these
things
and
there's
a

a
process
to
playing
them,

and
this
isn't
intended
to
shirk,

the
process

anything
like

enhancement
onto
the
street
in
a
way.

responsible

wide

look
and
making
sure
that
whatever
improvements
we
make
there
that
we
look
at
some
of
these
new
realities
of
including
wider
trails,
wider
walkways,
more
green
space
and
making
sure
washrooms
etc
are
conscious
of
the
need
for
ventilation
and
proper,
spacing
etc?

there
is
there
a
challenge
in
doing
that,
so.

issue

reviewing
those
plans,

should
you

that
the
budgets
for
those

parks
are
sort
of
capped
at
what
they

right

there

revisions,
would

to
be
done
within
the
existing
budget
envelopes.

these
are
three
Park
revitalizations
are
already
underway
in
the
planning
stage
and

wanted

make
sure.
As
we
go
ahead,
we
just
take

walking
trail,
it
could
be
wider
if
we're
gonna
have
a
cycling
trail.
The
same
thing:
if
we're
going
to
have
construction
on
a
park
site
and
especially
young
Eglinton
area,
we

no
space
at
all
no
parks
at
all.
So
we
need
to
make
sure
that
we
retain
as
much
green
open
space
as
possible.

believe

Toronto
office
of
recovery
rebuild
is
supposed
to
look
at

get
