I
was
recently
given
the
report
for
action,
which
had
not
been
evident
in
my
searches
of
the
public
information.

This
has
prompted
me
to
make
a
fast
edit
and
summary
of
comments
already
submitted,
but
first
before
I
demise,
some
of
my
thoughts
and
opinions
I
would
like
to
make
my
opening
remark
about
things
that
were
promised
to
the
area
residents
at
the
public
meeting
in
2017
and
not
followed
up
on.
We
were
promised.
We
would
have
opportunity
to
discuss
the
application
again
with
our
ward
councillor.
It
did
not
happen
and
we
now
have
a
new
Ward
8
councillor.
We
have
had
a
change
of
plan.

It
is
vital
to
understand
the
structure
is
misrepresented
as
a
detached
dwelling
chopped
up
into
rental
units.
It
is
a
purpose-built
four-plex
placed
by
prior
planners
of
master
craftsman
with
three
other
similar
structures
at
the
four
corners
of
the
intersection.
They
form
together
a
safe,
aesthetically,
balanced
and
appropriate
entrance
to
Litton
Park
homes,
properties
of
this
era
and
valued
style.
Quality
of
construction
of
finish
should
now
have
exterior
design,
controls
and
heritage
preservation.

a
shame
it
would
be
to
upset
this
balance
the
applicant
obfuscates,
the
fact
this
is
a
six
unit,
rental
building
in
every
material
way.
It
has
been
fully
and
actively
used
for
years
without
interference
from
the
city
and
hence
should
be
subject
to
a
rental,
housing,
demolition
and
conservation
conversion
application.
Where
does
it
state
that
insufficient
paperwork
attached
to
a
rental
unit
should
nullify
its
its
existence?
How
does
the
city
explain
its
position
considering
the
fact
there
would
have
been
permits
to
install
and
approve
eight
electric
meters,
renting
six
units
and
two
common
areas?

How
does
the
Planning
Department
explain
the
continued
development
approval
applications
with
none
of
the
boxes
properly
filled
out?
I
think
it
is
due
to
the
fact
the
planning
department
is
arbitrarily
letting
this
important
fact
fall
between
the
floorboards.
It
should
be
noted
that
none
of
the
applications
except
the
one
in
2016
have
been
signed.
The
applicant
in
2016
did
not
answer
all
the
required
questions
and
submitted
a
falsehood
about
residency.
In
my
opinion,
the
applicant
should
have
been
dismissed
and
not
received
by
the
Planning
Department
again,
this
should
be
an
established
policy.

If
the
bird
in
the
barnyard
clucks
has
feathers
like
a
chicken
and
lays
the
consumable
egg,
it
is
a
chicken
regardless
of
legitimacy
and
parentage.
Why
did
both
the
Goldberg
and
booze
field
planning
rationales
hide
the
fact
that
there
were
eight
meters
from
the
public
mr.
Loren
Dale
claimed
at
the
public
meeting.
He
did
not
know,
as
he
had
not
been
to
the
building.
Miss
Allen
cropped,
the
image
of
the
meters
out
of
picture
number
six
and
her
supplement
to
the
document.
I
have
photographic
representation
of
this,
as
well
as
others,
issues
not
mentioned.

shows
eight
metres
affixed

side
of
the
building

units
to
common

submit
that
the
City
of
Toronto
has
not
provided
adequate
information
to
the
public.
There
was
a
committee
struck
to
mediate
differences
and
the
belief
was
there
would
be
another
public
meeting
to
discuss
any
possible
revisions.
That
committee
reported
to
me
after
the
initial
meeting.
There
was
no
further
dialogue
or
material
forthcoming,
and
so
it
dissolved
contrary
to
the
notation.
In
the
booth

no
dialogue
with
the
Litton
Park,
Association
or
meeting
at
councillor
Carmichael.

With
regards
to
this
property
at
12:02

1204
Avenue
Road,
it's
located
at
the
northwest
corner
of
Avenue
and
Hillhurst
about
900
meters,
north
of
Eglinton
Avenue
in
the
future
Avenue
cross
town
station,
so
I'm
here
with
the
owner
and
members
of
the
consulting
team,
including
Lee
Marvin,
were
mizrahi
the
architect,
John
Barrington
from
be
a
group,
the
traffic
consultant
and
Puia
hagga
Shanna's.
The
engineering
consultant.

Key
elements
of
the
proposed
development
are
conformity
with
the
neighborhood's
policies
in
the
Official
Plan,
the
introduction
of
a
modest
level
of
intensification,
so
seven
three-bedroom
units
on
a
major
road
which
is
well
served
by
transit
and
where
there
is
an
established
pattern
of
intensification
on
corner
sites
that
includes
Avenue
and
Linton
Avenue
and
Stratton
and
Avenue
and
Briar
Hill.
The
proposal
respects
the
maximum
height
restrictions
within
the
neighbourhoods
designation
and
provides
appropriate
setbacks
and
landscaping
along
Hillhurst
Avenue,
which
will
an
Avenue
Road,
which
will
result
in
improved
Street
scapes,
provides
for
a
new
sidewalk.

also
provides
for
a
new
secondary
suite,
which
could
be
a
rental
unit
and
contribute
to
the
rental
stock
rental
market
and
includes
a
section
37
contribution
for
affordable
housing.
So,
in
summary,
we
appreciate
all
the
work
staff
has
put
into
this
application
and
request
you
adopt
their
recommendations,
we'll
continue
to
work
with
city
staff
to
refine
the
bylaws
to
ensure
they
are
consistent
with
with
the
plans
that
staff
is
viewed
and
support
and
I'm.

Boulevard

and
have
been
a
resident
there
for
over
40
years.
Since
that
time,
the
building
on
the
corner
in
question
has
been
a
six
unit,
rental
unit,
a
building,
and
it
was
well
maintained
by
the
previous
owners
following
the
first
purchase
by
the
developer,
the
and
all
the
hearings
and
meetings
that
we
had
to
which
we
objected
strongly
to
the
development.

have
a
poll
as
residents
and
knowing
the
the
sentiment
of
other
residents
on
the
street.
We
have
opposed
this
this
development,
that
it
is
an
enormous
structure.
It
does
not
fit
in
with
the
rest
of
the
the
neighborhood
in
terms
of
the
architecture,
the
height
and
the
distance,
the
offset
from
the
from
the
road,
and
we
feel
that
it
does
not
respect
the
basic
requirements
that
you
have.

The
city
has
established
for
building
in
this
area
and
therefore
we
strongly
oppose
it
and
object
to
having
this
monstrous
structure
built
on
the
corner
of
that
intersection.
I,
don't
understand
why
we
keep
hearing
of
new
proposals
to
develop
that
corner
with
bigger
and
structures
that
do
not
respect
bylaws
and
the
conditions
that
the
city
has
established
for
renovating
the
area
and
therefore
we
would
like
to
ask
for
a
deferral
of
any
decision
regarding
this
issue
until
such
time
as
we
have
an
opportunity
of
meeting
with
our
council,
our
present
counselor
mr.

the

updating

housing

north
turret
community
preservation
panel
and
as
a
North,
York
citizen,
I,
hope
you

support
the
renaming
of
Karen's
Way
extending
between
Barbara
place
and
me
and
Drive
as
Thomas
Clark
way
and
we'll
recommend
it
to
City
Council.
The
most
important
reason
to
rename
the
street
to
commemorate
important
early
settler.
Thomas
Clarke,
is
that,
in
addition
to
the
contributions
he
made
to
the
community,
the
house
he
built
in
1855
a
present-day
fireplace
still
survives
in
the
area.

was
designated
under
the
entero
Heritage
Act
by
the
former
city
of
North
York
on
June
22nd
1994.
Both
a
church
and
a
schoolhouse
built
in
the
1800s
on
land
that
had
been
Thomas
Clark's
have
long
since
been
demolished
in
1841.
According
to
my
sources,
Thomas
Clark
bought
land
on
the
south
side
of
Sheppard
Avenue
between
today's
Bayview
Avenue
and
Leslie
Street,
where
this
street
is
located.
His
first
wife,
Eleanor
Linton
died
in
1844
after
having
seven
children.

He
subsequently
married
Nancy,
Miller
and
in
1855
built
a
new
home
for
his
growing
family,
which
eventually
included
13
children
to
replace
the
original
small
log
cabin.
This
is
the
photo
of
the
second
house
taken
by
Jane
our
neo
descendant
its
construction
is
unusual,
but
the
field
stone
foundation,
18,
inches
thick
and
exterior
walls
that
are
three
bricks
thick
all
of
the
lumber
used
to
build
the
house
and
the
handmade
unique
interior
trim
is
white
pine
that
was
cut
on
the
property.

Thomas
Clark
was
one
of
the
leading
members
of
his
community,
contributing
to
its
education
and
spiritual
life.
He
held
meetings
of
the
Wesleyan
Methodists
in
his
log
cabin
and
was
one
of
the
founding
members
of
Clark's
class,
which
became
known
as
Clark's
congregation.
He
provided
land
for
the
first
brick
Church
of
the
area.
The
now
demolished
formal,
Oriole
Methodist
Church
built
in
1873,
from

the

boards
made
sure
that
that
the
rest
of
the
residents
found
out
so
those
steps
of
notification

seeking
the
opinion

the
community

been

they
have

comment

policy,

so
that's
why
they've
written
the

this
is
very
definitely

community
supported

preservation
recommendation.
Thomas
Clark
house

treasure.

neighborhood

the
east
side

Yonge
Street

on
the

cluster
of
towers
that
you

you
drive
by
the
Bayview
interchange
at
401,
so
that
Thomas
Clark
house
was
preserved,
is
really
nothing
short
of
a
miracle
throughout
the
Sheppard
subway
redevelopment

intensification
that
we
preserve.
This
is
a
miracle
and
something
to
be
proud
of,
and
so
that
the
street
closest
to
it
certainly
deserves
its
name
and
I
hope.

can
count
on
a
unanimous
board
and
vote
in
North
York
Community
Council,
so
that
we'll
be
making
a
strong
statement
when
this
goes
to
council
next
month.
