Madam Speaker I just wanted to speak to this briefly. That looks like an awkward notice area, but I hope that that folks, should I not be here in the next couple of months will will pay attention to this application. Twenty-Six hundred and twenty six hundred dollars Road and a preliminary report, the the chair of planning and growth, might remember sixteen fifty Sheppard Avenue East their towers and the park types of apartment buildings that back on to each other. All of us in North York have one of these or multiple of these somewhere in our Ward's.

But this one is rather precedent-setting. These are towers and the part buildings close to higher order transit and in this case it's Don Mills subway station. But in the future it's going to be Finch, West LRT anywhere along any of the transit lines. We're building so really north characters will want to look at this and and full disclosure. I will not be here in the next couple of months as as perhaps items come forward on context planning and such.

But the reason this is precedent-setting is these are towers in the park building where, where the buildings on half an acre, the acre is behind it and then there's a fence and then there's another building and backing on to another Street, a third building which probably will develop and submit an application soon. When you assemble it all back there, there are three acres with no access really to main roads because they're the backyards of apartment buildings, but they are in fact 750 meters from a subway station, and that could happen anywhere along Finch West LRT.

There are lots of towers in the park out there, so how we set the context for these applications is really precedent, sending anywhere we're developing transit and how we deal with with access and egress and and in fact, keep to our policy of intensifying at the higher transit nodes. So I just put it out there for people, it may or may not be a brand new councillor dealing with this application, and you may want to read the final reports and the context plans that go with.

So that's a gain: 2600 John, Mills, Road and 1650 Sheppard Avenue East. That was preliminary reported a couple of months ago. Those rare.

Ahead, please hi I'm a resident at 448, Elm Road, which is in the area we're looking to put speed. Humps and I have four children, small children that crossed the street every day to catch their bus with cars zooming past at 60 to 80 kilometers an hour when they did the study they put out the wires to calculate how fast the speeds of the cars were going and that particular day they did the study. There was construction on the street double construction.

Someone was redoing their driveway, so they had cars right where the wires were, and everybody was slowing down that particular day on a regular day the cars are flying by children are trying to get to school. My kids are trying to cross the street to get the bus and it's it's very dangerous and hoping to slow down the traffic I. Think speed. Humps would be a great idea.

This this street, the the cars, do move very quickly and especially up closer to where Paulo is there's about two and a half blocks without a stop sign, so cars just zip up there and don't care about anybody else who is on the street so I. Yes, this is it's a little bit of a strange intersection, Laird, so Phil Malcolm and Millwood all converge in one spot and traffic traveling I guess it would be eastbound on South Vale trying to make a left turn on the Malcolm. It's only about ten meters from the actual signalized intersection and their sight line issues so electrum prohibition there, the configuration of that Street has changed. It used to be one way, Malcolm coming from South Phil. It's now 2 way coming from Randolph, so cars can access from the side street.

We have dealt with staff on this matter already and, and this was actually transportation, staffs suggestion for a solution and and also Toronto Police Division 33 signed off on it. The problem was getting the petition and, and the petition got here past the print deadline, so staff are not submitting a report at this time but have been to the site to review it. The issue here is this: is all of the immediate streets just to the west of Parkway Forest construction site.

We're we're right now, at the intense point of all the skilled trades, finishing Block B. Well, all of the all of the the crews that will start taking the foundation, we're Block C are about to arrive, and these people have just had it up to here with the construction workers clogging their streets, there are alternative parking recommendations for them on their development site, so this is about bringing the hammer down on construction workers, not using their own designated areas.

It's I would call it egregious and I'm so I'm glad that we're giving direction to go to the board on this one. With this recommendation to propose.
