Agenda and background information: http://app.toronto.ca/tmmis/decisionBodyProfile.do?function=doPrepare&meetingId=10939
A
There
we
go
okay
good
morning.
Everyone
welcome
to
meeting
nine
of
the
parks
environment
committee
and
welcome
to
members
of
the
committee
and
two
other
members
of
council
in
attendance
today.
If
there
are
any
which
there
doesn't
look
like
there
is
and
to
the
members
of
the
public
and
just
to
let
you
know
that
the
economic
development
committee
meeting
is
being
held
in
committee
room
to
next
door.
A
So
there
could
be
some
people
wandering
in
here
looking
for
the
Economic
Development
Committee,
but
that
is
next
door,
but
we
always
would
love
to
host
you
here
and
for
those
in
the
room
with
us.
The
screen
at
the
back
of
the
room
provides
real-time
updates
concerning
where
we
are
in
the
agenda
and
what's
coming
up
next
and
you
can
follow
the
agenda
and
debate
on
your
computer
tablet
or
smartphone
at
wwt
RCA
board
/
Council
thanks
so
much
and
hope
you
all
had
a
wonderful
holiday
and
happy
new
year.
Welcome
everybody
back.
A
Great
yeah
I
will
do
that.
So,
if
are
there
any
declarations
on
the
under
the
municipal
conflict
of
interest
act
nope,
seeing
that
in
confirmation
of
the
minutes
from
November
23rd
2015
so
moved
by
Councillor
to
set
all
those
in
favor
approved
and
that
carries
and
again
sorry
there's.
No,
there
are
no
deputy
today,
but
there's
two
letters
there's
one
from
Alison,
Judah
and
also
from
Taff.
A
A
A
A
B
B
Just
have
a
quick
question
on
page
two:
we're
talking
about
what
this
company
does
and
what
their
responsibilities
are
and
one
is
replacement.
Planting
and
my
question
is:
how
long
are
they
responsible
for
the
tree
and
if
it,
if
it
dies,
how
quickly
do
they
have
to
replace
it
and
I?
Think
it's
going
to
be
two
and
two
but
I
hope
not.
C
Through
you,
madam
Speaker,
nor
madam
chair,
there's
a
two
year
replacement
warranty
and
generally
we
do
it.
The
replacements
are
very
quick
in
terms
of
that
they'll
get
it
done
in
that
season.
If
we
can,
depending
on
the
volume
of
work
we've
scheduled
for
that
company,
so
their
cooperative
with
us,
we
do
have
a
compatible
working
relationship
with
all
contractors.
At
this
point,
so.
C
Madam
chair,
we
basically
because
you're
naturalized
areas,
they're
inspected
by
our
staff,
our
staff
identified
the
deficiencies
we
put
a
list
together
for
those
deficiencies.
Staff
will
then
schedule
the
contractor
in
within
the
same
scope
of
work.
So
if
we're
in
that
neighborhood,
we
would
then
schedule
the
contractor
in
for
those
those
replacements.
So
this
timing
of
replacement
is
basically
set
by
us
so
that
we
can
be
more
effective,
good.
