If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
B
Today
is
tuesday
august
the
30th.
The
time
is
nine
o'clock.
The
board
is
in
session
to
conduct
its
weekly
open
business
meeting.
Commissioner
davidson
and
myself
are
here
in
the
in
the
room
and
commissioner
kendra.
B
So
I'd
like
to
introduce
everybody
for
the
record:
did
you
give
your
name
for
the
record.
E
B
B
Okay,
our
first
item
of
business
is
volunteer.
Boards
have
two
volunteer
boards,
reappointment
of
chuck
miller
and
brian
smith,.
A
B
Okay,
well,
you've
heard
the
motion.
I'll
ever
say:
aye
aye,
aye
aye
motion
carries
thank
you.
Okay.
Next
up
we
have
some
unfinished
business.
A
final
ranking
and
award
recommendations
for
rfb,
two
two
zero.
Seven
one
I'll
accept
a
motion.
A
E
You
good
morning,
mr
chairman
commissioners,
the
evaluation
team
for
rfp22071,
the
ada
county
security
and
screening
services
has
completed
the
evaluations
of
the
three
proposals
received
and
would
like
to
submit
an
award
recommendation
letter
for
your
consideration.
E
E
A
B
Motion
carries.
Thank
you
all
right.
Thanks
all
right
now,
moving
on
to
new
business,
we
have
an
opening
of
rfb22082
asher
training,
exercise,
support.
E
It's,
mr
chairman
and
commissioners,
ada
county
procurement
received
seven
proposals
for
rfp22082
and
evan's
got
our
bonfire
procurement
system,
all
cued
up
up.
C
E
E
E
That's
a
pretty
good,
pretty
good
science
group
yeah.
We
get
that's
a
good
response,
so
joe
lombardo
and
his
folks
will
have
a
little
bit
of
reading
to
do
yeah.
So,
okay.
So
with
that
in
mind,
mr
chairman,
we
would
like
to
request
that
this
be
table
for
final
ranking
and
award
recommendation
to
the
september
13
2022,
open
business
meeting.
B
E
E
E
A
final
ranking
was
determined
by
evaluation
scoring
and
the
final
ranking
is
as
follows:
number
one
western
records
destruction
incorporated
with
a
score
of
89.33,
and
so,
after
reviewing
the
proposal
submitted,
it
is
recommendation
of
the
evaluation
group
to
award
the
contract
to
western
records.
Destruction
incorporated
as
the
number
one
ranked
proposer.
B
B
Moving
on,
we
have
operations
with
one
change
order:
ada,
county
landfill
design,
build
of
metal
building
agreement
number
one:
four,
two:
nine
seven
increase
to
259
569.
G
On
yeah,
mr
chairman,
commissioners,
this
change
order,
which
is
fully
funded
using
existing
project
funds,
is
to
include
some
items
that
were
previously
left
out
during
the
design
phase
in
order
to
keep
the
original
design
and
build
costs
down.
Now
that
it
has
come
in,
there
is
money
to
take
care
of
these
items,
so
we'd
like
to
include
these
into
the
contract.
I
can
let
josh
give
a
brief
description
of
the
items
and
what
and
what
this
entails.
Yeah.
H
Absolutely
so
this
was
a
design
build
contract
and
we
write
the
contract
for
a
set
value,
and
then
we
go
in
and
program
the
design
of
the
building
to
fit
the
budget,
and
a
few
things
got
programmed
out
the
mezzanine
we
some
thickened
concrete
around
the
building
and
some
utility
items
that
we
were
going
to
wind
up
paying
for
anyway,
we
found
the
money
and
11670883,
which
is
a
capital
improvement
budget
line
item
that
you
know,
is
there
for
this
to
include
these
items,
and
so
it
is
fully
funded
and
we'd
like
to
take
care
of
it
now,
as
opposed
to
later
the
team's
already
there
to
make
it
happen,
and
it's
just
an
easier
time
and
easier
process.
B
Okay,
you've
heard
the
motion.
B
Ever
say:
aye
all
right,
hi
hi
motion
carries
get
your
change
order.
Okay,
moving
on
to
licenses,
we
have
a
ratification
of
a
previously
issued
catering
permit
and
several
other
catering
permits
and
one
new
license.
Is
there
any
discussion
or
a
motion.
F
B
I
I
guess
you're
representing
the
clerk's
office.
Yes,
sir,
mr
chair,
we
have
on
site
this
week,
mythics,
which
is
the
contractor
for
the
financial
implementation
we
had
to
kick
off
yesterday.
It
started
off
well
and
we'll
have
meetings
throughout
this
week
to
start
developing
the
statement
of
work
for
the
upcoming
contract
that
we
hope
to
start
the
first
of
october.
I
So
that's
going
well
we're
also
if
the
the
board
gets
wind
of
this,
which
they
may
we're
getting
lots
of
requests
and
some
threats,
records,
destruction
for
the
2022
or
2020
election
ballots,
that's
being
fueled
by
a
federal
statute.
I
I
B
B
B
On
the
financial
system.
I
Well,
I'd
say
ahead
of
schedule:
we're
laying
the
groundwork
this
month
for
a
very
successful
implementation
that
starts
in
october.
That
will
put
us
ahead
of
schedule.
Yes,
okay,.
B
B
B
B
Okay,
thank
you.
Well,
we
have
some
tax
cancellations
that
I
might
remind
people,
for
the
record
is
not
an
actual
cancellation
of
the
tax.
It's
a
reduction,
there's
a
change
in
tax.
B
Is
there
any
discussion
or
emotion.
F
B
Okay,
don't
they
ever
say
aye
all
right,
hey
carries.
Okay,
we
have
the
treasures
office.
D
Yes,
so
from
the
treasurer's
office
we
will
promptly
work
on
the
tax,
cancellations
or
adjustments
just
approved.
I
will
note
so
for
the
2020
and
2021
those
have
already
been
built,
so
we
can
process
those
right
now
for
the
2022
cancellations,
we
don't
bill
those
until
november,
so
we
are
tracking
those
and
we're
doing
the
adjustments
internally
and
those
will
be
reflected
on
the
bills
that
we
send
in
november.
D
Okay,
also
before
you
for
consideration,
is
request
to
waive
late
charge
and
interest.
This
is
a
case
where
the
taxpayer
has
presented
to
you
evidence
of
timely
payment,
so
my
recommendation
would
be
to
request
to
approve
it.
B
B
D
B
B
B
All
right
well
I'll,
second
motion,
all
in
favor,
say:
aye
aye,
aye.
Okay,
we
have
approval
of
minutes.
F
B
The
motion
all
in
favor,
say
aye
all
right
all
right.
Next
up
we
have
parks
and
waterways.
We
have
four
agreements.
Is
there
a
motion.
B
Okay,
is
there
a
second
in
the
motion?
I
will
second,
the
motion
of
favor,
say:
aye.
All
right
motion
carries.
We
have
agreements
up.
We
have
12
our
15
agreements,
I've
reviewed
all
the
agreements.
Is
there
any
question
or
discussion
on
these
agreements.
F
Mr
chair
wondering
if
we
could
discuss
maybe
also
for
the
public,
we
have
the
three
design
companies
who
we
who
have
submitted
contracts.
This
is
for
the
design,
competition
for
the
new
park
at
expo
idaho.
So
I
was
wondering
if
somebody
could
talk
about
those
at
all
and
what
the
process
is
there
yeah.
Mr
chairman,
the
three
agreements
are.
H
As
the
state
of
orion,
the
three
agreements
are
for
the
design
competition.
We
are
paying
each
design
firm,
five
thousand
dollars
to
give
us
a
concept
where
we'll
judge
that
concept
based
on
the
design,
of
course,
and
the
other
items
that
were
set
forth
in
the
procurement
process.
H
We
won't
see
the
design
competition
until
the
first
week
of
october,
which
you
guys
will
be
present
for
that.
It
will
be
presented
to
the
board
down.
B
In
the
the
public
hearing.
H
H
B
A
B
B
Today
is
tuesday
august
the
30th.
The
time
is
9
26..
The
board
of
commissioners
sitting
at
the
board
of
emergency
medical
services
district
is
in
session
to
conduct
its
weekly
open
business
meeting.
Mr
davidson
is
present.
We
did
have
commissioner
kenyon
online,
but
she
got
for
some
reason
taken
off.
B
Okay,
are
there
oh,
introduce
yourself
for
the
record,
which
is
sean.
E
A
B
B
B
We
have
a
resolution
to
to
adopt
I'll
open
the
public
hearing
on
resolution,
2790
adjusting
the
ada
county
budget
to
reflect
the
receipt
of
unscheduled
revenue
to
the
ada
county
emergency
medical
services
district.
Is
there
a
discussion,
or
would
you
like
to
explain
that
to
us
sean.
C
Sure,
mr
chair,
good
morning,
good
morning,
commissioner
davidson
this
resolution
is
a
joint
problem
project
that
we
had
with
the
city
of
boise
in
the
city
of
meridian.
We
all
came
together
to
purchase
a
high
fidelity
training
mannequin,
so
deputy
chief
jeremy
cavett
and
his
team
worked
really
hard
to
get
that
all
put
together.
But
that's
what
that
is
for.
B
Okay,
I'll
close
the
public
hearing
on
resolution,
2790
and
I'll
accept
a
motion.
B
B
Okay,
I'll
accept
a
motion
in
the
claims
journal.
B
Okay,
I'll
second
motion,
all
in
favor,
say
aye
aye,
aye
motion
carries
claims
journal,
approved
I'll,
accept
a
motion
on
approval
of
the
minutes.
B
B
I'll
second,
the
motion
in
favor
say
aye
aye
right
now,
we're
looking
for
a
sean
report.
C
All
right
good
morning,
commissioners,
I'm
coming
to
you
from
my
office
here
today,
because
we
have
a
fairly
significant
run
of
code
going
through
the
apartment
right
now
yeah.
I
had
a
significant
exposure
last
week
and
so
I'm
testing
every
morning,
but
we
currently
have
five
people,
including
actually
six,
including
two
of
my
command
staff
that
have
contracted
cove
and
it
seems
like
we're
getting
a
new
case
just
about
every
day.
C
C
They
admit
to
the
hospital
they're
still
seeing
high
rates
of
infection,
but
what
the
difference
is
this
go
around
is
most
of
its
upper
respiratory
instead
of
going
into
the
lower
respiratory
tract
and
so
they're
still
watching
things
really
closely
over
there
outside
of
cobalt
and
what
we're
dealing
with
with
that.
G
C
Counties
and
the
association
of
idaho
cities
coming
in
the
next
few
weeks,
so
sarah
westbrook
and
kelly
brasfield
will
be
doing
ride-alongs
with
mark
babson
and
then
kelly
packer
from
the
association
of
cities,
is
going
to
be
over
doing
a
ride-along
just
to
get
that
experience
as
we
head
towards
the
legislative
session.
C
It
looks
like
it's
going
up
a
little
bit,
we're
closer
to
four
right
now.
I
looked
at
another
way
of
looking
at
that
data
and
there's
there's
quite
a
difference
when
you
include
anything
and
everything
that
could
be
coveted.
You
know
we're
we're
sitting
around
15
on
that
report,
but
the
report
that
I've
been
giving
you
guys
since
january
of
2021
it's
creeping
up
closer
to
four
right
now,
so
it
looks
like
I
don't.
C
I
couldn't
tell
you
why
other
than
potentially
schools
back
in
session,
you
know,
and
that
kind
of
thing,
but
it
looks
like
we
might
be
in
for
another
surge.
This
fall.
F
Okay,
all
right
any
other,
yes
yeah.
I
was
just
curious
if
you
had
any
thoughts
on
the
response.
Ems
response
to
the
incident
at
the
fair
and
maybe
the
fair
overall,
but
I
can
imagine
getting
into
a
crowded
parking
lot
right
after
I
think
it
may
have
been
the
biggest
turnout
for
concert
we
ever
had,
and
I
guess
the
incident
happened
during
the
exodus
so
were
we
were
we
prepared.
Were
we
able
to
to
get
the
ambulance
in
there.
C
Yeah,
you
know
we
were
able
to
do
all
that.
That's
one
one
of
the
things
we
do
at
the
fair
is
we
have
it's
a
john
deere
gator
that
we
actually
have
a
gurney
in
the
back
of
so
it
can
get
in
to
those
areas
that
are
tight
like
that
and
then
actually
take
the
patient
out
to
it.
C
A
spa
where
the
ambulance
comes
in
a
lot
easier
than
pulling
a
rib
right
up
to
the
scene
so
but
yeah
everything
that
I
heard
from
the
crews
that
were
down
there
that
night
they
did
a
really
good
job
of
controlling
that
chaos
and-
and
you
know,
got
the
patients
taken
care
of
so.
F
C
F
How
about
the
rest
of
the
fair,
no
major
incidents
from
what
I've
heard.
C
F
A
C
I'm
actually
looking
at
that
waste
water
testing
right
now.
Commissioner,
back
for
you,
you
know
what
I'm
actually
looking
at
the
wastewater
right
now
and
it's
come
up
a
little
bit,
but
it
still
seems
like
it's
holding
steady.
B
Well,
that's
a
better
indication,
isn't
it
of
a
potential
surge.
C
Yeah
as
long
as
they
keep
testing
that
water
and
they
actually
haven't
broken
down
by
variants
now,
which
the
prevailing
variants
right
now
are
ba4
and
ba5.
Those
two
latest
omicron
variants,
so.
C
I
don't
know
we,
we
don't
get
that
we
do
have
one
person
that
got
tested
that
did
a
pcr
test,
so
they
may
actually
get
that
information
back,
but
it
doesn't
tell
us
on
our
own
tests.
C
Going
to
the
agenda
for
next
week,
we'll
be
talking
about
an
arpa
request
that
I
put
in
for
some
ambulances.
So
that's
that
tiny
one
nancy
just
walked
into
that.
What's.
B
B
Okay,
okay,
all
right!
Well,
thanks
thanks
sean
unless
there's
any
more
business.
I
will
adjourn
the
meeting.
Thank
you,
sean
we're
enjoying
thank
you.
