If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
Today
is
tuesday
september.
The
sixth
time
is
10
o'clock.
The
board
is
in
session
to
conduct
its
weekly
open
business
meeting.
All
three
commissioners
are
present
and
we
have
a
number
of
guests
in
the
in
the
audience.
Today
we're
going
to
start
off
today
with
several
employee
recognition
awards
and
we'll
start
off
with
yelena
miller.
A
B
How
are
you
good,
obviously
we're
going
to
read
all
about
you
here,
elena
miller
joined
the
assessor's
office
in
september
1997
as
a
part-time
temp,
promoting
to
a
full-time
data
entry
clerk
in
the
administration
department
in
december
of
that
year
in
2001
she
transferred
to
the
appraisal
division
where
she
has
provided
immeasurable
support
for
the
last
20
plus
years.
This
is
her
25th
year
of
service.
It's
amazing.
B
Thank
you,
elena,
for
all
the
talents
and
good
vibes
you
bring
to
our
office,
and
I
want
to
personally
thank
you
and
I'm
sure
my
fellow
commissioners
do
on
all
your
help
during
board
of
equalization
you're,
always
here
first
person
here
in
getting
everything
ready
and
getting
us
all
organized.
So
we
really
appreciate
that.
I'm
sure
mr
mcquaid
likes
yes.
C
Mr
chairman,
commissioners,
elena
timmy
is
just
an
amazing
woman
and
I
say
that
for
several
reasons,
but
one
in
particular,
when
she
started
working
for
the
assessor's
office,
she
was
going
to
school,
it
was
at
boise
state.
She
was
going
to
school,
raising
a
child
and
working
full-time
and
I'll.
Tell
you
in
all
the
years
that
I've
been
the
assessor.
I
have
never
seen
a.
D
C
C
Also,
elena,
is
just
extremely
generous
when
you
have
when
there's
a
birthday
or
holiday,
you
can
always
find
a
gift
on
your
desk
that
elena
would
have
acquired
for
us,
and
just
the
last
thing
I
just
like
want
to
mention
elena
immigrated
from
russia,
and
she
just
has
some
amazing
stories
to
tell
about
what
life
in
russia
was
like
when
she
was
there,
so
we're
just
so
honored
to
have
you,
elena.
A
A
Probably
yeah:
well,
obviously
he
just
he
just
talked
about
getting
a
multitasker.
You
are
congratulations
on
on
your
years
of
service
and
you
have
been
a
strong
help.
I
mean
for
our
board
of
equalization,
we
appreciate
it
and
did
you
have
anything.
E
A
Thank
you
now.
What
we
we'll
do
is
we'll
we
will
read
the
other
awards
and
then
we'll
take
a
picture
and
we'll
give
you
your
reward
at
all.
So
we'll
take
a
picture
we'll
do
you
can.
E
All
right
mara
has
worn
many
hats.
As
a
clerk
in
her
career,
she
has
been
a
floating
in-court
clerk
on
both
the
magistrate
and
district
level,
served
the
public
directly
on
the
front
counter
and
has
been
a
knower
of
all
things
for
many
of
us
in
the
last
20
years,
she's
one
of
the
anchors
of
our
clerk
family
and
has
seen
a
lot
of
changes
and
faces
over
the
course
of
time.
E
F
Absolutely,
in
addition
to
the
titles,
actually
I've
been
able
to
work
with
maura
since
I
joined
the
office
I'll
add
to
that
rival
in
the
process.
I
don't
know
if
she
recalls,
but
years
ago,
when
I
was
newer,
I
took
on
the
challenge
of
dueling
somebody
at
the
front
counter
and
maura
was
the
coach
to
my
rival.
At
the
time
where
we
were
seeing
how
fast
I
could
process
speeding
tickets.
Now,
I
I
heard
you
guys,
you
know
with
elena
recognizing
her
work
with
you
guys.
F
Fortunately,
you
have
not
had
the
privilege
of
working
with
maura
and
the
same
thing
as
chrissy.
That's
for
your
sake,
because
they've
been
heavily
involved
in
our
criminal
system
for
years,
but
maura
we've
worked
together
when
she's
down
on
the
front
counter
helping
people
she's
she
truly
has.
F
I
think
I
don't
know
that
the
words
there
express
it
well
enough,
just
her
leadership
in
terms
of
being
in
a
lead
role
there
or
upstairs,
when
I
say
upstairs,
meaning
the
in
courts
supporting
the
judges
and
just
making
sure
the
system
maura
has
been
an
incredibly
stable
force
throughout
the
years.
I
think
that's
one
of
the
things
a
lot
of
people
that
her
peers
behind
her,
many
of
who
have
learned
from
more
over
the
years,
whether
that's
being
directly
taught
or.
F
B
A
E
E
Started
yeah,
I
remember
when
I
first
moved
here:
paying
a
ticket
down
there
and
the
customer
service
has
just
been
so
much
better.
The
process
is
so
improved,
and
so
thank
you
for
being
part
of
the
team.
A
Yep,
thank
you
again.
We
will
we'll
we'll
we'll
give
you
these
these
awards
back
here,
we'll
take
pictures
and
stuff.
Okay,
all
right
is
chrissy
wardle.
Here,
oh
chrissy.
A
You
can
tell
that
she's
worked
here,
that
long
by
the
wealth
of
knowledge
that
she
has
and
she
willingly
shares
with
everyone,
she's
constantly
getting
praise
from
all
different
departments
for
her
willingness
to
lend
a
hand
fill
in
where
necessary,
assist
any
of
her
co-workers
or
her
all
around
kindness.
She
always
does
it
with
a
smile
on
her
face
and
a
happy
and
positive
attitude.
B
F
Do
you
want
to
yeah,
mr
chairman,
chrissy,
congratulations
and
thank
you,
as
kind
of
was
noted.
Chrissy
has
spent
a
lot
of
time
out
at
juvenile,
especially
I
don't
know
that
any
of
you
would
really
know
this,
but
there
certainly
was
an
era
where
not
that
it's
not
partially
true
today,
but
juvenile
was
kind
of
an
island
to
itself.
When
you
say
chrissy,
they
very
much
took
care
of
themselves.
F
Chrissy
and
a
few
others
were
some
of
the
key
people
in
supporting
the
judges
out
there
and
it
really
ran
on
its
own.
I
think,
a
few
years
ago,
when
we
transitioned
to
odyssey,
we
really
brought
the
court
system
together
more
holistically
and
I
think,
to
her
credit,
making
the
transition
from
doing
the
work
over
there
at
juvenile
and
kind
of
fending
for
herself
versus
coming
over
here
and
being
part
of
the
magistrate
team,
which
is
a
lot
of
the
support
people.
You
see
here
to
celebrate
her
success
with
her.
A
D
A
A
A
A
The
continuously
evolving
criteria
are
designed
to
measure
and
provide
benchmarks
for
public
procurement
best
practices.
Ada
county
is
one
of
171
agencies
in
the
united
states
and
canada
and
one
of
36
counties
to
receive
the
award.
We
encourage
you
to
share
this
prestigious
award
with
your
governing
body
and
organization.
A
sample
press
release
is
also
a
meal.
Congratulations
on
the
27th
annual
2022
achievement
and
excellence
procurement
award.
Brian
garrity
so
we'd
like
to
recognize
mr
bob.
B
D
D
B
E
A
Okay,
moving
on
to
new
business,
we
have
a
resolution
resolution
for
the
sale
of
personal
property
owned
by
the
sheriff's
office.
I
will
open
the
public
hearing
on
resolution
number
2791.
Is
there
any
discussion
or.
D
D
G
H
A
A
A
A
Guess
yeah,
I
guess
yeah
a
couple
of
bmws
and
it
also
includes
an
agreement
all
right,
no
further
discussion,
I'll
close
the
probably
carrying
on
resolution
2792.
Is
there
a
motion.
E
A
B
B
Now,
therefore,
the
board
of
county
commissioners,
boise
idaho
in
recognition
of
this
event,
do
hereby
proclaim
the
month
of
september
2022
in
ada
county
as
national
recovery
month.
I
think
we
might
have
somebody
from
pure
wellness
yeah
hello.
Ladies,
you
want
to
go
ahead
and
say
something
about
the
plans
for
the
month
or
anything
that
we
could
participate
in.
We
would
love
it
if.
B
September
24th
and
we'll
get
elizabeth
raise
your
hand
you
can
get
with
elizabeth
and
she'll
put
that
on
their
calendars.
Okay,
thank
you
great
great.
Well,
thank
you
for
all
the
work
that
you
do.
You
guys
are
very
important
assets,
very
valuable
asset
to
our
community
and
recognize
the
hard
work,
and
we
have
a
lot
of
the
issues
that
we
just
talked
about
here
in
the
proclamation,
especially
after
the
last
couple
of
years
of
what
everybody's
gone
through.
E
Mr
chair,
I
would
move
to
approve
the
proclamation
as
listed
on
the
agenda
and
designate
september
2022
as
national
recovery
month.
B
A
Okay,
you've
heard
the
motion
all
in
favor,
say:
aye.
All
right,
hey
motion
carries
thanks.
Okay,
thank
you
all
right
now
we
have
licenses.
We
have
a
catering
permit
and
several
catering
permits
new
licenses.
Is
there
a
motion.
F
That's
what
I'm
thinking
you
may
speak
to
it:
yeah
yeah
yeah,
mr
sherman
you'll
note
there
is
one
catering
permit
that
is
broken
out
on
the
agenda
and
that's
because
the
sheriff's
office
has
recommended
denying
that
application,
and
it's
at
the
reason
for
the
denial
too.
As
you
can
see,
this
event
occurred
actually
this
past
weekend
and
there
the
statement
from
the
sheriff's
offices.
This
application
was
not
recommended
for
approval,
as
it
was
submitted
on
august
29th
for
an
event
occurring
on
september
3rd.
F
The
hours
listed
on
the
application
do
not
fall
in
line
with
the
event
center
parameters,
which
causes
for
further
delay
in
their
ability
to
approve
the
application,
and
just
it
wasn't
reasonable
in
terms
of
the
time
frame
for
them
to
properly
evaluate
you
know
if
the
sheriff's
office
was
going
to
need
any
additional
resources
to
support
the
event.
B
A
A
Have
worked
with
them
a
little
bit
changed
it,
but
it
was
too
late
for
us
to
eat
meat
so
anyway.
So
I
guess
we'll
take
a
motion
on
that
on
on
that
application,
that,
for
the
catering
permission.
A
B
A
B
A
Then
yeah
you've
heard
a
motion.
Don't
they
ever
say
I
wait.
Motion
carries
okay,
we
have
clerk's
office,
yep
yep.
F
Okay,
a
couple
things,
mr
chairman,
one
as
kind
of
noted
earlier
I've
got.
My
I
voted
sticker
on
today
is
an
unusual
election
day.
It
is
the
boise
school
district
trustee
election
today
they
actually
have
multiple
trustees
that
are
up
for
election
and
encourage
any
of
those
living
in
the
boise
school
district
to
get
out
and
vote.
This
is
an
awkward
one
for
us.
I've
mentioned
this
in
the
past.
We're
not
actually
running
the
election.
It's
the
only
instance
really
that
we're
not
a
part
of
it.
F
We
are
providing
support,
so
we
have
people
already
answering
phones,
directing
people
to
resources.
Polling
locations
are
different
for
this.
It's
just
schools
that
they're
using
so
there's
some
unusual
things,
but
hopefully
we'll
get
some
folks
out
to
vote
today
and
this
all.
If
you
get
the
question
this
all
is
due
to
the
boise
school
district
charter,
the
boise
school
district,
pre-dates
idaho
statehood
and
the
state
of
idaho
chose
to
recognize
the
school
district
charter.
F
When
idaho
became
a
state-
and
there
are
only
few
things
that
are
specified,
I've
personally
read
the
charter,
but
oddly
the
date
of
their
trustee
elections
is
very
specific
in
their
charter
and
hence
why
they're
kind
of
doing
this?
You
know
unusual
election
date
and
time.
I
think
I
think
I
would
I
don't
know
how
it
ever
gets
fixed,
but
I
think
everyone
would
love
to
see
it.
You
know
be
on
a
regular
date
when
we
do
all
the
other
ones
as
well
is.
F
They
have,
let
me
think
this
through
today's
election.
They
are
four-year
terms,
but
today's
election
has
both
four
and
two-year
because,
because
of
some
resignations
and
changes
in
the
school
board,
there
are
more
seats
up
for
election
today
than
there
typically
should
be,
and
that's
because
people
have
been
appointed
to
fill
vacancies
and
those
vacancies
are
being
filled
out.
So
there's
like
a
vote
for
two
in
one
race,
a
couple
of
vote
for
ones,
there's
more
contestants
than
there
typically
would
be,
and
there
seems
to
be
heightened
activity.
F
I
noticed
people
out
waving
signs
today,
trying
to
get
turned
out
so
yep
exactly
so
anyways
that
election
is
going
on,
and
I
should
note
in
terms
of
the
elections
office
and
another
reason
that
we're
not
running
the
boise
school
distribution
is
we're
gearing
up
for
the
november
eighth
general
election.
Absentee
ballots
will
begin
going
out
later
in
a
couple
weeks,
so
we're
processing
everything
we're
going
to
be
launching
the
candidate
portal
here
this
week
for
the
candidates
for
the
november
election.
F
So
really
elections
is
now
in
the
thick
of
their
routine
and
a
general
election
is
always
the
one
of
the
biggest
you
know.
The
only
bigger
election
is
presidential
general
elections
that
we
have,
but
with
the
governor
and
everything
else
on
the
ballot,
there's
a
lot
of
work
underway,
and
so
the
elections
team
is
trying
to
finalize
all
the
polling
locations,
recruiting
poll
workers
right
now
and
getting
everything
in
place,
so
you'll
see
a
lot
of
activity
on
that
front
and
then,
finally,
as
you'll
see
noted
on
the
agenda,
this
is
september.
F
Kind
of
concludes
the
budget
process
for
everybody.
All
the
local
taxing
districts
rely
on
property
taxes
not
today,
but
at
a
future
meeting.
I
think
it
is
actually
next
meeting.
We
will
be
adopting
setting
the
levies
for
both
our
budget,
but
also
setting
the
levies
for
all
the
other
local
taxing
districts,
so
local
taxing
districts
submit
their
information
to
us
to
our
office
as
a
clerk
and
then
with
we
have
set
the
levies
and
send
that
on
to
the
tax
commission.
F
A
E
A
You've
heard
the
motion,
favor
say:
aye
aye
right
motion
carries
didn't
you
have
anything
else
for
us.
No.
A
Okay,
next
up,
we
have
claims
journal.
Is
there
a
motion.
A
You've
heard
the
motion,
I
don't
ever
say
all
right
motion
carries.
We
have
a
few
personnel
actions,
one
salary
change,
three
conditional
pay
increases,
seven
grade
ladder,
changes
and
one
step
increase,
one
location
change
and
one
reinstatement
do
we
have
a
motion.
A
C
C
C
One
thing
I
was
really
excited
about
was
completely
unanticipated
by
myself.
I
attended
a
session
put
on
by
the
accessory
in
raleigh
north
carolina,
and
his
topic
was
how
to
how
to
run
an
assessor's
office
with
explosive
growth
midway
through
his
presentation.
He
listed
a
couple
of
other
counties
with
explosive
growth.
Ada
county
was
the
first
one
and
a
couple
of
other
counties,
but
things
got
even
better
than
that
at
one
point
he
pulled
up
our
dashboard.
C
I
don't
know
if
you've
looked
at
our
dashboard
or
not,
it
is
just
it's
an
amazing
tool
that
we
developed
over
the
last
two
years.
He
pulled
up
to
the
dashboard,
and
he
said
this
is
a
great
source
of
information
and
brad
smith.
My
office
quickly
took
a
photo
and
sent
it
to
alan
smith,
who
built
that
that
dashboard
and
said
we
have
just
gone
international
because.
C
Convention,
that's
fabulous,
oh
yeah.
We
were
just
so
proud
of
that
we're
finding
out
our
dashboard
is
just
so
well
well
received.
I
know
other
taxing
authorities,
nato
county,
are
using
that
the
press
is
using
that
a
lot
and
now
I'm
finding
out
counties
you
know
2500
miles
away,
are
using
that
to
get
information.
C
C
C
It
was
brad,
smith,
went
and
don
watts,
our
land
records
supervisor,
aaron
brady,
the
appraisal,
supervisor
kathleen
lynch
and
cat
little
aaron
brady
cat
little
and
cat
lynch.
They
were
the
three
that
proposed
this
seminar.
This
session
be
done
on
this,
and
so
they
put
it
together.
They
were
working
very
hard
and
I
did
not
get
to
see
any
of
it
at
all
until
I
was
sitting
in
the
room
and
they
started
doing
it.
No.
C
A
C
Chairman,
yes,
I
do
want
to
just
add
tax
cancellations.
Almost
all
of
those
are
because
of
the
homeowners
being
granted
after
the
the
borders
adjourned.
Last
year,
we
had
about
well
over
a
million
dollars
where
taxes
were
taken
off
this.
This
house,
the
legislature,
passed
a
bill
a
couple
of
years
ago.
Granting,
though
you
could
apply
for
the
homestead
exemption
throughout
the
year
rather
than
april
15th.
C
There
is
controversy
whether
the
exemption
should
be
prorated
or
not
prorated.
C
The
tax
commission
had
a
hearing
where
two
counties
who
were
pro-rating
and
the
tax
commission
ruled
in
this
hearing
that
they
are
not
to
prorate
that
they
are
to
get
the
give.
The
full
exemption
that
now
has
gone
to
district
court
and
a
decision
from
the
district
court
is
expected
to
be
handed
out
before
the
end
of
this
year,
and
that
issue
will
then
be
resolved
without
legislation.
D
C
But
so
that's
what
almost
all
of
these
are
the
homestead
exemptions
after
that,
I
also.
A
Noticed
that
there
was
a
big
article
in
the
local
paper
and
it
indicated
that
in
as
much
as
ada
county
hadn't
raised
any
taxes,
we
didn't
raise
the
didn't
use
the
the
allowable
raise.
Nevertheless,
there
was
still
a
41
average
of
41
dollars
per
person
and
they
attributed
that
to
the
moving
target
of
homeowners,
exemptions
that
that
it's
not
raised
up
high
enough
and
so
there's
been
shift
from
commercial
properties,
taxes
to
the
home
to
homes,
because
because
we
didn't
raise
taxes
but
yet
they're
still
going
to
get
an
average
of
41
increase.
C
I
skipped
over
that
article.
What
really
caught
my
attention?
Boise
city,
it
commented
that
75
percent
of
their
tax
increase
is
because
of
increased
valuations,
and
I
really
I
don't
know
where
that
that
comes
from.
I
have
talked
to
a
professor
at
boys.
State
university.
That's
been
involved
in
property
taxes
over
the
years.
C
C
C
I
I
really
don't
don't
know
it's,
I
I
thought
about
it.
I
would
have
to
be
getting
into
the
weeds
and
things
like
that
and
I
thought
of
giving
this
person
a
call
on
inviting
them
over
I'm
just
trying
to
figure
it.
C
C
Mr
chairman,
commissioner,
kenny
I
don't
know
you
could
go
to
our
the
assessor's
dashboard.
The
dashboard
will
have
it.
C
A
D
A
Okay,
we
need
a
motion
on
these
tax
cancellations.
B
G
Not
a
whole
lot
to
update.
I
will
just
note
that
our
office
uses
the
assessor's
dashboard
a
lot.
We
refer
taxpayers
to
it,
there's
a
lot
of
good
information
there.
So
we're
grateful
for
that.
I
will
just
note
that
last
week
our
office
did
participate
in
the
kickoff
for
the
new
financial
system
facilitated
by
the
clerk's
office.
It
was
also
heavily
involved
with
the
consultant,
and
I
will
just
note
and,
as
you
know,
it's
a
large
significant
project,
but
there's
some
really
good
dialogue.
G
So
it's
one
of
those
projects
that
makes
me
super
excited
and
super
nervous,
but
even
more
excited
so
good
dialogue.
It
helped
us
identify
a
lot
of
our
needs,
some
of
the
data
we
need
to
clean
up
and
then
also
just
start
changing
our
mindset
for
what
the
future
might
look
like.
So
for
a
lot
of
our
staff,
some
of
our
processes
could
be
different,
so
it
was
really
good
just
to
kind
of
get
the
ball
rolling
it's
early,
but
we
appreciate
being
included
early
in
so
many
of
the
discussions.
A
Right:
okay,
we
have
three
agreements
from
expo:
idaho,
bacon
and
beer
christmas
here
christmas
light
show
and
western
idaho
fly
fishing
expo.
Do
we
have
a
motion.
E
A
That
okay,
you've
heard
the
motion,
don't
favor,
say
aye
aye,
all
right
all
right.
Next
up
we
have
49
agreements.
These
are
just
ongoing
agreements
that
the
board
has
entered
into
over
the
years.
A
I
guess
there's
49..
Is
there
any
discussion
or
any
issue
on
any
of
these
agreements?
A
I
have
no
issue
within
you.
Okay,
I'll,
accept
a
motion.
A
E
A
A
A
E
A
A
H
Yes,
good
morning,
mr
chair
commissioners,
first
an
update
on
kovid
we've
had
a
reason
I
was
on
webex
last
week,
a
fairly
significant
outbreak
and
our
command
staff
still
have
one
person
out
testing
positive,
he's
feeling
much
better,
but
we
certainly
saw
a
run
through
the
department
in
the
last
few
weeks
of
people
testing
positive
and
it
could
be
schools
back
in
session.
You
know
the
numbers
are
go.
I
am
seeing
them
start
to
climb
slowly,
it's
back
up
to
3.75
a
day,
so
that's
been
going
up
for
the
last
couple
weeks.
H
I
did
hear
a
report
or
a
news
story
this
morning
that
the
oregon
health
sciences
university
is
predicting
there's
going
to
be
another
surge
towards
the
end
of
october,
as
people's
immunities
start
to
wane
from
the
the
vaccines
and
ba
four
and
five
are
very,
very
contagious.
As
we
saw
from
one
meeting.
H
You
know
it
took
out
two
people,
but
the
one
one
bit
of
good
news
is
the
emergency
use
authorization
for
the
the
new
vaccine
came
out
over
the
weekend,
so
people
will
be
able
to
start
going
out
and
getting
vaccines
specific
to
the
ba
4
and
5
omicron
variants,
so
that
vaccine
has
about
half
of
it
is
the
original
vaccine
and
then
the
other
half
covers
the
ba
four
and
five.
So.
B
H
I
had
a
meeting
with
travis
leach
he's
the
president
of
cnl's
garrity
a
week
before
last
and
they're
still
testing
every
patient.
They
admit
and
they're
still
seeing
a
fairly
high
number
of
people
that
are
coming
in.
They
may.
G
H
Even
know
that
they
have
kova
that
came
in
to
have
a
surgery
or
they
broke
their
leg
or
what
have
you?
But
what
they're
seeing
is
that
it's
more
upper
respiratory,
it's
not
going
to
the
lower
respiratory
tract
as
much,
but
I
even
some
of
the
people
that
have
had
it
recently
within
our
department.
H
I
mean
they
get
pretty
darn
sick
and
are
really
down
not
needing
hospital
admissions,
so
definitely
doesn't
appear
to
be
as
as
deadly
or
as
serious
as
the
delta
variant
that
we
saw
last
fall,
but
you
know,
I
think
that
as
time
goes
on,
we're
going
to
just
see
more
and
more
and
more
variants.
This
virus
is
going
to
try
to
change
and
evolve
and
hopefully.
A
H
Well
and
right
now
the
you
walk
outside
and
it
looks
like
well,
it's
like
living
next
to
a
campfire
right
now
with
all
the
smoke
in
the
valley,
and
so
I
know
I
wake
up
every
morning
kind
of
with
that.
You
know
horse
voice
and
a
sore
throat.
But
I
I.
D
A
The
hospital
is
doing
the
monoclonal
antibiotic
treatment.
H
I
don't
know
if
they
still
are
or
not.
I
know
that
they've
really
moved
over
towards
the
pax
love
it.
The
oral
medications.
H
H
H
And
then
a
spreadsheet,
so
this
arpa
proposal
we
initially
submitted
as
part
of
the
response
to
2019
and
nancy,
and
I
have
been
working
through
this.
H
What
the
request
request
is
is
to
replace
a
bunch
of
our
response
vehicles
and
and
not
necessarily
replace
all
of
them,
with
the
15
that
we're
asking
for.
But
you
can
see
that
we've
got
some
really
old
ambitions.
No.
B
H
Yeah
and
I
had
the
mechanics
pull
the
hours
so
when
we
pull
up
to
a
scene
in
an
ambulance,
if
you
turn
it
off,
it
won't
start
again,
there's
so
much
draw
on
four
batteries.
These
ambulances
have
four
batteries
in
them,
but
if
you
turn
them
off
for
20
25
minutes
and
just
leave
them
where
they're
not
plugged
in
you'll
come
out
to
an
ambulance
will
not
start
so
they
sit
on
scenes
and
they'll
idle.
And
that's
that's
a
lot
of
what
you
see.
You
know
I've
done.
H
On
these
and
and
you
know,
you
average
per
hour
like
seven
miles
per
hour
with
the
average,
because.
H
Ambulances,
so
this
is
the
lever-
and
this
is
this-
also
includes
some
of
our
our
yukons,
our
supervisor
vehicles.
You
can
see
those
are
getting
up
into
the
over
a
hundred
thousand
the
general
services
administration
with
the
federal
government.
Of
course,
we
don't
necessarily
follow
that
to
a
t,
but
they
recommend
replacing
an
ambulance
after
seven
years
of
use,
seven
years
or
seventy
thousand
miles
on
a
gasoline
ambulance,
which
the
majority.
H
G
H
And
the
penalty
for
running
that
thing
out
is,
if
you
turn
the
ambulance
off
and
turn
it
back
on,
you
can
only
go
four
miles
per
hour
and
that
just
does
not
work
to
get
a
patient
to
the
hospital
and
there's
no
exemption
that
I'm
aware
of
so.
We
stopped
buying
diesel
ambulances.
When
that
became
a
requirement
in
those
motors.
The
gas
motor
motors
have
held
up
fairly
well,
but
we
had
in
fact
it
may
have
been
on
the
claims
journal.
For
this
week.
H
So
I
had
nancy
reach
out
to
the
city
of
star's
attorney
and
the
city
of
star
actually
purchased
the
fire.
H
The
starfire
district,
a
ladder
truck
just
a
few
months
ago,
and
they
used
arpa
funds
and
what
the
category
that
they
used
was
lost
revenue,
and
so
she
reached
out
to
chris
the
attorney
out
there
and
that's
the
category
they
put
it
into
their
ladder.
Truck
was
970
000,
I
believe,
and
it
was
a
used
ladder
truck.
They
got
from
pittsburgh
or
somewhere.
B
Like
that,
but
so
with
the
ones
with
the
lower
mileage,
like
twenty
thousand
fifteen
thousand
twenty
thousand
thirty
six
and
thirty
seven,
those
qualify.
H
We
would
keep.
We
would
keep
some
of
this
fleet.
We
would
get
rid
of
some
of
the
older
stuff
in
the
fleet.
What
the
goal
would
be
is
to
to
actually
increase
the
number
of
ambulances
that
we
have
by
four,
because,
if
you
think
about
we
added
the
cuna
station,
so
that
took
one
of
our
reserve
ambulances
and
moved
it
out
to
cuna
and
then
we'll
be
moving
two
more
out
to
meridian
to
those
stations.
H
Little
new
units,
the
fleet
manager,
the
the
the
folks
that
have
been
working
with
steve,
rathford
and
procurement
have
recommended
that
we
go
from
purchasing
two
ambulances
a
year
to
four
just
the
cost.
The
ambulance
alone
now
has
gone
up
to
about
a
quarter
million
dollars
fully
outfitted
two
wheel
drive
ambulances
now
with
the
gurneys
and
the
equipment
in
it
about
a
half
million
dollars.
H
We
did
in
in
this
proposal
that
we
do
have
a
request
for
two
four-wheel
drive
ambulances,
so
that
we
can
get
up.
We
would
actually
put
those
units
in
our
foothills
locations
so
that
they
can
get
up
into
those
steeper
areas.
Those
would
be
diesel
ambulances,
but
I've
talked
to
mechanics
and
they
would
have
them
on
a
schedule
to
get
that
diesel
exhaust
fluid
in
there
so
that
it
never
runs
out.
But
it's
difficult
to
get
those
four
wheel
drive
big
chassis,
550,
ambulances
and
gasoline.
H
So
we
we
in
the
past,
we
have
sent
them
to
auction
and
we
pay
at
250
000
for
an
ambulance
and
we'll
get
about
five
to
seven
thousand
dollars
at
auction.
So
the
last
few
years
we've
actually
been
trading
the
ambulances
in
it's
less
of
a
hassle
for
the
mechanics.
H
H
H
At
it
we're
able
to
to
trade
them
in,
we
can't
just
go
and
sell
them.
It's
either
auction.
H
We
we
had
to
do
some
research
on
that
before.
So
that's
I
I
don't
know
if
you
haven't.
A
Have
you
worked
with
with
our
our
consultant
on
the
fleet
management
that
we're
we've
just
put
in
place,
we're
actually
going
to.
A
Manager,
he
suggested
he
didn't
say
for
your
ambulances,
but
he
did
suggest
for
the
sheriff
that
they
could
refurbish
a
one
of
those
yukons.
H
You
thought
about
any
of
that.
No
I'll,
but
jake
oven
is
one
of
our
battalion
chiefs
and
he
has
been
the
person
that
has
over
been
overseeing
the
purchase
of
new
vehicles.
But
I'll
ask
him
about
that.
I
know
one
of
the
issues
that
we
run
into.
Certainly
with
ambulances.
C
H
And
somebody's
got
to
go
track
that
down
and
figure
out
why
this
light
doesn't
work
in
the
back
or
start
things
start
flickering.
So
we
gave
it
a
try,
like
I
said
about
20
years
ago,
but
I'll
have
him
look
at
the
yukons.
We
can't
even
buy
yukons
right
now,
so
yeah.
H
So
we
what
we
we
found
out,
that
we
can
still
get
expeditions
bob
did
some
research.
I
still
can't
buy
yukons,
but
I
have
to
go
buy
one
from
a
dealer,
so
it
becomes
more
expensive,
then
paint
it
white.
That
just
doesn't
make
a
lot
of
sense.
So
we
were
going
to
switch
over
to
a
ford
product,
the
expedition
that
would
meet
our
needs
for
the
battalion.
We.
H
B
So
so
you're
asked
then
would
we
want
to
split
that
up
and
say
you
know,
approve
half
of
them
now
and
then
revisit
this
in
six
months
or
something
like
that
good,
that's
a
because
I
kind
of
want
to
see
where
we're
at
with
some
of
our
other
projects
because
we're
getting
down
there.
I
mean
we
have
you
know
money,
but
we
have
some
other
projects,
major
ones.
We
want
to
fund
too
sure
that
might
be
a
good
way
to
go
on
this.
H
Yeah,
I
think
anything
that
kind
of
gives
us
a
jump
start
to
get
rid
of
the
older
rigs
that
we
have
anything
that
we
have.
That
is
diesel.
Right
now
is
turning
out
to
the
six
liter
diesel
that
they
were
putting
the
ambulance
is
not
the
best
motor
yeah.
B
H
D
H
We
also
have
to
have
them
for
standbys
for
vehicles
to
be
moved
into
if
something
breaks
down,
but
then
also
have
enough
in
reserve
so
that
if
we
have
a
major
incident,
we
can
have
crews
come
in
they're
set
up.
If
you
remember
those
cabinets
at
benjamin
they're
set
up
to
staff
four
ambulances
any
time
of
day
or
night,
all
we
have
to
do
is
you
know,
notify
people
and
they
can
come
in.
So
that's
part
of
it
is
a
mass
cap.
Mass
casualty
response
on.

Separate
subject:
I'm
working
with
jill
lombardo
on.
I
think
this
would
be
a
homeland
security
grant
of
looking
at
getting
an
am
bus
for
that
purpose
for
mass
casualties,
and
it
also
gives
us
kind
of
a
mobile
treatment
center
for
the
bigger
standbys,
like
the
bear.
The
music
festival,
boise
state
games
that
kind
of
thing,
but
it
that
bus
can
transport.
It
was
either
21
or
26
litter
patients
and
it's
a
sizable
sum
of
money.
But
I'm
working
with
joe
on.

B
Mr
charity,
yes
yeah!
What
I'd
like
to
see,
then,
is
draft
something
up
for
us
to
approve
in
opm,
okay
with
half
of
it
for
this
first
year,
okay
or
approximately,
not
exactly
for
sure
but
the
worst.
Obviously
you
go
through
here
and
it's
probably
about
60
worst
case
scenarios.
