A
We
are
now
at
public
comments
if
there
is
anyone
here
for
public
comments
today,
please
come
forward
state,
your
name
and
your
address,
and
you
have
five
minutes
to
deliver
your
comments
all
right.
There
is
no
comment
for
public
comments.
A
Did
everyone
have
the
opportunity
and
I
hope
you
did
to
read
over
the
minutes
and
if
you
have
I
will
accept
a
motion
and
please,
when
you
make
the
motion,
please
state
your
name
that
you're
making
this
motion
and
whoever's.
Second,
it
also
do
the
same.
So
we
can
have
good
information
for
our
records.
A
Right
is
there
a
second
correct,
Valley?
Second
right,
Kelly,
okay,
it's
been
properly
moved
and,
second,
that
our
minutes
from
May
24th
board
meeting
be
accepted,
ready
for
question
all
in
favor,
all
right,
all
right
eyes
have
it.
Thank
you,
introduction
of
new
board
members
when
I
call
your
name
if
you
would
either
stand
or
raise
your
hand,
so
everyone
that
is
watching
today
will
actually
be
able
to
put
a
name
with
the
face.
I'm
going
to
start
to
my
left,
Mr
James,
Jim
Becker,.
E
E
and
moved
here
kind
of
semi-full
time
in
2015.
E
F
Donald
Lucas,
like
Jim's,
going.
F
B
I'm
Donald
Lucas
and,
like
Jim
mentioned,
we
started
coming
down
here
for
vacations
in
the
80s,
and
so
we
knew
early
on
that.
This
is
where
we
would
eventually
wind
up.
We
actually
moved
down
here
my
wife,
Karen
and
I
nine
years
ago,
for
the
last
eight
years
or
so
I've
been
involved
in
the
election
Activity
one
year
as
a
poll
manager
in
the
remaining
seven
or
so
I
guess,
as
a
poll
clerk
at
precinct,
2C
on
Hilton
Head,
Island
I,
look
forward
to
involvement
with
this.
G
I'm
Elizabeth
ignite
and
Native
of
South
Carolina
am
I.
We
moved
here
in
2015.,
I
live
on.
Ladies
Island
and
I
have
been
involved
in
elections.
I
initially
was
a
poll
Watcher
that
I
was
a
poll
manager
and
then
I
served
several
in
several
elections,
as
a
poll
Clerk
and
I
am
hopeful
that
I
can
do
a
job
that
will
make
the
voting
experience,
Pleasant
and
comfortable
and
for
our
voters,
and
so
they'll
have
confidence
in
the
elections
and
whatever
needs
to
be
done.
I'm
hoping
hopeful
that
I
can
do
it.
H
My
name
is
Herbert
Ford
I
am
a
fifth
generation
native
Islander
from
Hilton
Head.
Unlike
my
colleagues,
I
didn't
move
here.
This
is
home,
I
retired
in
2009,
from
the
federal
government
and
returned
to
Hilton
Head,
and
immediately
thrust
myself
into
the
community
spent
12
years.
H
As
a
commissioner
for
the
Hilton
Hilton
Head
Island
Public
Service
District
number
one
that
position
terminated
at
the
end
of
last
year
and
I
found
myself
being
nominated
to
serve
on
this
distinguished
board
and
now
I
have
the
capacity
to
to
serve
in
a
non-partisan
role
to
make
sure
to
adapt.
The
election
process
is
one
that
is
open
to
any
and
everyone
who
is
qualified
to
vote
and
to
make
sure
that
process
is
smooth
and
ran
in
a
certain
way.
So
I.
H
A
Thank
you
and
welcome
aboard
all
right.
Now
we
will
move
on
to
unfinished
business
committee
assignments,
so
I
hope
that
you've
had
the
opportunity
to
look
through.
The
committee
assignments
is
on
Mike's
white
Claire
piece
of
paper
like
this.
With
the
committees
listed
on
the
Committees,
we
always
wanting
and
hoping
that
we
will
have
someone
to
chair
the
committee
and
by
sharing
the
committee
you
will
call
meetings
either
in
person
or
by
Zoo.
A
So
that's
why
we
would
need
a
chair
to
chair
the
various
committees
and
I'm,
hoping
that,
since
we
now
have
a
full
board
that
we
wouldn't
have
any
problem
having
someone
to
chair
the
Committees
and
you
will
notice
that
some
of
the
Committees
already
have
a
chairperson
and
we
have
some
that
do
not
have
a
chair.
The
first
committee
is
our
rules
committee
and
if
you
have
your
information
out,
you
see
the
in
depth
outline
on
what
happens
with
that
committee
and
what
all
their
tasks
to
do.
A
We're
working
on
the
rules
committee
book
and
it
should
be
finished
shortly
in
a
few
weeks
and
months
and
we
will
then
get
it
and
the
board
will
have
the
opportunity
to
review
it
and
if
they
need
to
make
any
changes
or
recommendations,
it
will
happen
at
that
time
and
the
setting.
And
then
we
will
send
it
back
over
to
miss
Marie,
the
director
and
her
and
her
staff.
They
will
put
the
booklet
together
and
we
will
all
then
have
a
copy
of
the
rules
committee
and
every
other
committee
that
is
in
there.
Okay.
A
K
The
rules
sure
go
ahead
so
being
part
of
the
rules.
Committee,
Gene
and
Caroline
and
I
I
worked
on
it
a
year
ago.
So
the
book
is
almost,
you
can
correct
me
G,
but
the
book
is
almost
done.
We
just
really
need
to
finalize
it
and
we
really
need
to
finalize
it
quickly
to
get
it
back
in
front
of
the
board.
So
we
can
vote
on
all
right.
A
A
A
Next
is
our
legislative
affairs
and
Matthew
Sweeney.
He
didn't
wait.
He
contacted
me
and
said
I
will
chair
that
committee
and
that's
what
I
like
when
people
like
to
step
forward
and
say
guess
what
I
will
do
this
Matt
is
chairing
that
committee.
James
spacker
is
on
that
committee
Beverly
door
and
Craig
Pelley
later
on.
When
we
get
to
our
committee
reports.
We
will
then
hear
from
the
different
chairs
who
chair
in
these
various
committees
on
finance.
A
All
right,
thank
you.
Mr
backer,
all
right,
Mr
backer
said
that
he
will
chair
that
committee.
Are
there
any
oppositions
in
him.
A
A
M
I
recommend
Herbert
Ford,
he's
a
native
Islander
and
he's
very
familiar
with
the
parameters
and
the
geography
of
the
Aryan
which
he
lived
and
grew
up
for
the
facilities,
exclusive
facilities.
All.
A
Right
here,
all
right,
it's
been
properly
moving.
Second,
can
we
vote
on
Herbert
Ford
for
chair.
F
K
F
Yeah
they
said
they
wanted
a
finance
person.
A
banker
on
that
yeah,
okay,
I
will
certainly
okay.
M
A
A
A
Don't
have
to
take
how
many
two
yeah-
okay,
all
right,
so
Beverly
door
is
the
chair
and
we're
only
allowed
to
have
four
and
you
would
understand
that
the
reason
why
is
because
then
we
would
be
in
a
quorum,
so
we
don't
want
to
get
into
trouble.
A
Need
someone
else
from
representing
to
move
to
the
facilities.
A
F
A
F
A
Don
Lucas,
would
you
like
to
go
move
to
to
facilities.
I
C
A
We'll
have
an
updated
list
of
everything.
Okay,
now
we
will
move
to
our
committee
reports
facilities,
Miss
Marie,
do
you
have
any
updates
or
you
want
to
give
it
later
in
your
director's
report?
Okay,
thank
you.
Finance
is
the
same.
A
J
On
legislative
affairs,
the
bill
h-4217,
which
is
for
representing
in
Beaufort
County,
was
passed
by
the
Senate
on
third
reading
on
June
14th,
signed
by
the
governor
on
June
19th,
and
it
becomes
effective,
January
1st
2024..
J
That
bill
is
now
called
act.
82.,
okay,.
A
Read
ing
committee
definitely
doing.
M
There
are
no
other
updates
other
than
what
has
just
been
presented.
We
will
schedule
meetings
as
the
need
arises,
but
my
report
coincides
with
what
has
been
said:
okay,.
K
A
All
right,
thank
you.
Now
we
are
at
new
business
status,
update
of
polling
locations
that
will
be
coming
from
this
Marie.
D
Do
have
that
in
my
director's
report,
so
we
can
okay.
A
I
D
42-17
I
want
us
to,
if
you
run
into
our
legislators,
to
please
thank
them
for
getting
this
done,
because
they
did
this
in
the
extended
session.
It
didn't
go
through
the
regular
session,
so
y'all
just
need
them
when
you
see
them,
thank
them
for
all
the
hard
work
that
they
did
on
getting
this
accomplished,
because
it
was
not
easy.
It
took
it
took
several
months
and
but
they
got
it
done,
which
means
that
we
have
as
a
board
a
lot
of
work
to
do
to
get
in
place.
Linda.
D
Are
you
doing
something
to
get
in
place
new
polling
locations
to
accommodate
these
new
precincts?
And
so
what
we
are
going
to
do
is
talk
about
this
next
slide,
where
we
have
the
legislation
for
consideration.
D
D
D
I,
don't
know,
but
what
I
would
like
to
recommend
is
that
this
board,
and
now
that
we
do
have
a
chair
of
our
legislative
committee,
along
with
the
chair,
pin
a
letter
to
our
delegation
members
asking
them
for
legislation
to
exempt
Beaufort
County
from
this
particular
piece
of
legislation
which
recommends
or
which
really
might
pretty
much
tell
us.
We
are
not
complying
in
order
for
us
to
comply.
We
have
to
get
the
law
changed
or.
D
I
I,
don't
know
what
we
will
be.
Not
you
know
non-compliant,
so
it's
pretty
simple,
I
I
would
say
it's
simple
to
do
now.
Will
the
legislators
agree
with
us
that
they
want
all
of
us
to
comply,
because
this
is
not
an
issue?
That's
just
occurring
in
Beaufort
County,
it's
across
the
state,
all
right,
so,
instead
of
just
asking
for
Beaufort
County
to
be
exempt,
which
is
what
I'm
concerned
about
so
that
we
can
be
in
compliance.
D
If
they
would
change
this
law,
it
would
affect
all
of
the
state
of
South
Carolina,
which
would
allow
the
board
the
option
where
precincts
you
know
where
polling
locations
and
precincts
are
held,
because
we've
been
beating
the
bush
for
the
last,
the
bushes
for
the
last
couple
of
months,
trying
to
find
polling
locations
to
accommodate
the
new
precincts,
and
we
are
not
having
a
whole
lot
of
luck
Okay.
So
we
are
now
I,
think
and
further
on
in
the
report.
I'll
show
you
what
we
have
accomplished
so
far.
D
We
will
continuously
be
non-compliant
if
we
can't
get
something
done
and
I
hope.
Our
legislators
will
work
with
us
to
to
help
us
to
get
exempt
from
this
provision
of
the
election
laws
or
come
up
with
some
ideas
on
how
we
can
get
an
exemption
in
our
County,
if
not
for
the
whole
state.
D
And
I
know
that's
probably
kind
of
confusing,
but
if
you
would
read
what
it
says,
it
doesn't
make
a
whole
lot
of
sense,
but
it
actually
is
saying
to
us
one
Precinct
per
location,
and
now
we
have
126
precincts
and
you
know
we
only
have
62
locations
right
now.
A
I
D
D
That
would
give
us
or
give
the
county
our
County,
if
not
the
whole
state,
the
flexibility
on
where
we
put
precincts,
because
this
issue
is
it's
a
Statewide
issue
they're,
just
not
enough
facilities
out
there
to
house,
even
though
our
population
is
growing
and
y'all
know
how
it
grew
in
the
last
10
years
that,
in
order
for
us
to
comply,
we
had
to
create
new
precincts
to
comply
with
that
provision
of
the
law.
That
say,
we
shouldn't
have
more
than
a
1500
voters
in
a
Precinct
right.
M
M
Recommendations
on
all
of
the
other
issues
that
have
concerned
us
as
individuals.
D
H
Window
just
for
clarification
purposes,
we
are
asking
our
legislator
to
give
us
the
opportunity
to
waive
the
requirement,
because
we
can't
find
correct
sufficient
amount
of
of
locations,
and
we
can.
We
can
substantiate
that
to
them
that
we
have.
We
have
searched
high
and
wide,
and
we
just
haven't
been
able
to
find
anybody,
that's
interested
or
willing
to
serve
as
a
as
a
polling,
location,
correct.
D
We
have
some
places,
but
not
near
enough,
and
we
I
think
we've
been
talking
about
this
for
the
last
couple
of
months
and
we
have
contacted
I
mean
we
just
pull
up
a
Google
map
and
just
looked
at
every
locations
that
we
could
possibly
used
and
contact
some
of
those
facilities,
and
we
even
contacted
some
of
the
party
members
that
may
have
some
influence
in
their
communities
to
you
know
talk
on
our
behalf
to
let
us
use
clubhouses
and
community
centers
churches,
and
some
of
them
said
no
just
plain
out
no,
and-
and
this
is
not
a
new
issue-
we've
been
dealing
with
this
for
a
while,
but
now
that
this
issue
has
been
brought
to
the
full
Forefront.
D
You
know
it's
time
for
another
approach.
Since
we
can't
comply
with
the
law,
maybe
the
law
can
comply
with
us.
L
L
What
it's
saying
is,
if
you,
wherever
you,
whatever
present
Q
in
you,
have
to
vote
in
that
Precinct,
your
location,
had
that's
what
she's
saying
that's
why
we
have
to
interpret
it
you're
you
wherever
you,
whatever
Precinct,
you
in
you,
have
to
vote
in
a
location
in
that
Precinct
and
it
says
which
they're
doing
now.
No.
K
L
L
So
when
you
have
a
co-located,
Poland,
okay,
collocated
precincts
at
a
foreign
location,
three
of
those
people,
three
of
those
groups,
are
voting
out
of
their
precept,
they're,
not
in
their
Precinct
voting,
see.
We
everybody's
been
doing
this.
L
L
I
L
That's
right:
we
would
have
to
find
a
place
in
Sun
City
in
that
Precinct
in
one
one
and
two
three,
four,
five,
six,
seven,
eight!
That's
what
the
law
says
that
they
need
to
be
voting
like
probably
somebody's
house
if
it
comes
down
to
it,
but
that's
what
the
law
is
saying,
wow.
So
that's
what
we're
asking
that
if
we
could
go
to
them
with
our
you
as
a
board,
go
to
them
with
suggestion
that
hey
we've
been
studying
the
law.
L
Technically,
nobody
in
the
state
is
in
compliance
because
it's
almost
impossible
to
be
in
compliance,
but
if
you
were
to
remove
these
six
words
from
the
legislation,
every
county
in
the
state
will
now
come
under
compliance
because
it's
not
mandating
the
situation
as
it
is
right
now
bottom
line.
It
can't
happen.
J
D
Only
exemption
would
be
an
emergency
situations
so
as
specified.
Oh
yeah,
I
I
wanted
to
use
that
too,
but
the
more
you
think
about
it.
That
doesn't
mean
anything.
The
way
the
law
is
is
telling
us
that
if
I
have
three
precincts
reporting
to
one
location
I'm,
not
in
compliance,
because
somebody
that's
in
say,
Beaufort
one
is
living
outside
of
where
that
polling
location
is,
and
you
know
we
have
like
four
at
buckwalters
and
somebody
is
not
living
at
the
address
of
Bob
Walters.
J
G
M
C
D
H
H
So
this
is
going
to
be
a
challenge
in
terms
of
of
the
rural
areas
here
in
the
state
and-
and
they
trying
to
put
us
in
the
context
of
what
a
former
legislator
would
would
say
is
that
they
would
agree
with
this
language.
So
it's
going
to
be
very
difficult
to
convince
them
not
to
have
these
six
words
in
the
legislation.
I
agree
with
you,
but
I'm
just
thinking
about
it
as
a
former
legislator,
that's
probably
what
they
were
thinking
when
they
had.
H
Those
words
is
to
think
about
those
rural
areas
where
a
person
may
not
have
transportation
or
whatever
the
case
is.
It
may
not
be
able
to
go
to
an
area
outside
of
the
immediate
community,
so
just
something
to
think
about
yeah
and.
D
It
was
just
what
was
available
to
US
during
you
know
at
that
time,
and
so
now
that
it's
becoming
an
issue
we
we
need
to
and
that's
what
we
do
is
make
recommendations
when
we
find
ourselves
find
laws
are
kind
of
like
penalizing
the
voters
and
for
not
having
a
place
for
them
within
their
Precinct.
D
L
To
add
to
you
what
you
were
saying:
Mr
Ford,
when
we
study
the
maps
because
we're
always
looking
at
those
Maps.
But
when
we
study
those
Maps.
Sometimes
the
precinct
that
they're
voting
in
is
not
in
their
Precinct,
but
it's
closer
than
where
to
where
they
lived
and
trying
to
find
something
in
their
presets
plantation.
C
D
You
all
for
indulging
me
the
elections
coming
up
for
the
updating
elections
report
we
already
had
on
our
calendar,
the
town
of
Port,
Royal
Bluffton
and
the
town
of
Yemassee,
just
in
the
last
couple
of
weeks
or
since
we
met
last,
we
received
notifications
at
the
Fripp
Island
Public
Service
District
is
proposing
a
referendum
for
the
November
ballot
and
just
last
week
like
Thursday
Friday,
we
we
learned
that
the
school
board
is
also
proposing
a
referendum,
which
means
that
we
will
be
having
a
county-wide
election
come
November,
7th
2023..
D
So
when
our
new
board
members
were
thinking
that
they
were
going
to
be
getting
away
with
not
having
an
election
to
deal
with
I
think
it's
a
great
idea
that
you
will
get
your
feet
wet,
but
before
the
2024
election
comes
on,
so
you
will
get
some
experience
in
a
not
so
stressful
election
in
November
this
year.
D
So
just
Gear
Up
For
That
get
into
the
right
mindset
because
we
all
will
be
working.
Okay,
new
poll
workers
training
is
going
great.
D
We
only
have
two
remaining
for
this
year
so
far,
unless
we
find
a
reason
to
have
additional
Saturday
July.
The
29th
I
think
we
have
14
people
enrolled
in
that
session
right
now,
so
there
are
room
for
more
and
then
the
last
one
for
the
year
will
be
August
the
5th
we
only
have
like
five
or
six
people.
So
anyone
who
are
helping
us
to
recruit
new
poll
managers
know
that
those
dates
all
vacant
I'll
open
and
with
an
election
coming
up.
D
The
next
two
available
session
will
be
July
5th
and
we
are
encouraging
those
people,
not
just
in
the
Bluffton
Community
to
come
out,
but
those
people
in
the
surrounding
communities
as
well.
The
whole
purpose
of
the
community
forum
is
to
make
the
board
a
voter
registration
available
to
our
voters,
give
them
an
opportunity
to
hear
what
our
process
is
and
procedures
are,
and
for
them
to
ask
questions
of
us
of
things
that
they
don't
understand
or
things
that
they
may
have
questions
about.
D
The
the
one
of
the
one
of
the
things
of
the
things
that
I've
been
listening
for
is
when
or
help
me
to
realize
that
we
are
not
doing.
This
is
in
vain.
Is
when
I
hear
one
of
the
participants
saying.
Oh
I
did
not
know
that,
so
that
meant
that
they
learned
something
at
that
session.
D
When
you
see
when
you
hear
people
say
things
like
that,
and
then
they
start
asking
questions
the
light's
not
coming
on
and
that's
the
whole
purpose
is
to
be
available
to
our
community
so
that
they,
what
we
do
is
not
in
secret.
We
don't
want
people
to
feel
like
we're,
not
approachable.
We
are
here
to
answer
questions
and
help.
You
understand
what
the
processes
and
procedures
are
when
it
comes
down
to
elections
in
our
County
and
in
our
state,
so
invite
come
on
out.
D
Invite
your
friends,
your
family
members,
I
brought
my
husband
to
make
sure
we
have
an
audience
and
bringing
her
kids
to
make
sure
you
know
we
we
just
want
people
supposed
to
what
we
do.
M
To
come
to
ask
what
level
of
community
presence
are
you
seeing
at
this
juncture.
D
D
C
D
We're
going
through
the
County
website,
we've
sent
it
out
to
different
Medias
on
Facebook.
We
send
it
out
to
the
parties
I.
M
We
using
Pen
Center
as
an
Avenue
to
make
that
Community,
where
maybe
a
notice
of
something.
M
When
you
have
the
Saint
Helena
event
was
Penn
Center
or
any
of
the
institutions
over
on
the
island.
Aware
of
it
not.
C
D
Yeah
you
know
whatever,
like
I
said,
we
pick
certain
Medias
to
to
publicize
it
I,
don't
think
we
went
directly
to
any
one
particular
facility
or
agency,
but
that
will
be
something
we
will
take
under
consideration
in
the
future.
If
you
know.
D
Talking
about
beating
the
bushes
for
facilities
for
polling
locations
so
far
what
we
have
gotten
confirmations
on
Palmetto
Bluff
in
Bluffton,
Battery,
Creek,
High,
School,
Palmetto
Hall
on
Hilton
Head.
B
D
D
Thank
you
for
those
of
you
who
have
contacted
different
facilities
and
brought
them
back
to
us,
and
we
were
able
to
to
talk
to
these
folks
and
they
have
committed
to
working
with
us.
So
that's
good
Mr,
Wedgeworth.
L
D
F
L
But
thank
you
for
Palmetto
Hall.
That
was
a
great
pyramid.
Hall
was
a
great
suggestion.
It
actually
took
in
the
whole
Precinct.
So
we
we
kind
of
made
it
work,
but
it
worked
for
them
because
only
their
people
will
be
there
and
I
think
Mr
Wedgeworth.
What's
her
name,
Melinda
Turner
and
Melinda
Turner
and
struna
Courtney
struna
lived
there
and
worked
there,
so
you
might
want
to
consider
switching
them
from
plantation
house
to
actually
be
in.
D
Additional
storage
space
on
the
26th
of
on
June,
the
Beaufort
County
public
facility
and
Safety
Committee
met
and
approved
our
contract
for
385
thousand
dollars
for
our
new
addition,
and
it
will
be
going
to
County
Council
on
the
10th
of
July
for
final
approval.
And
after
that,
we
are
hoping
that
construction
will
begin
on
the
additional
storage
space
for
our
office
facility.
H
C
M
D
We
would
probably
need
a
whole
new
building
for
Ideal
World.
The
facility
that
we
have
now
was
purchased
by
the
county,
I
think
about
five.
D
And
we've
already
added
on
to
it
once
so.
This
will
be
our
second
edition.
As
soon
as
we
did
the
last
Edition,
we
got
different
election
equipment,
which
kind
of
took
all
the
space
much
bigger,
bulkier
stuff
took
all
the
space,
with
additional
precincts
being
added.
We
need
the
additional
space
and
workspace.
We
don't
have
workspace.
We
have
space
to
put
the
equipment,
but
we
can't
work
in
in
the
area
because
we
have
no
room
to
turn
around.
L
H
L
K
L
L
They
know
they
know
all
the
cameras,
windows
and
doors.
We
look
at
the
app
and
then
bulletproof
and
everything
cameras
in
around
the
facility
and
the
doors
special
locks
on
the
other
doors
and
everything
all
that
has
been
addressed
with
capital,
budget
input
and
everything,
and
they
know
we
needed
all
of
that
and.
A
D
Okay,
we
are
proposing
another
board
Workshop
in
August,
and
the
reason
why
we
want
to
do
this
is
because
we
have
five
new
board
members
and
what
we
discovered
from
that
last
session,
that
it
was
an
eye-opener
to
a
lot
of
the
newer
board
members
at
that
time
about
our
processes
and
procedures
and
the
detail.
If
this
the
board
Workshop
will
be
a
whole
lot
more
detailed
than
what
we
would
do
in
a
community
forum,
so
sometime
in
August,
what
day
is
best
for
you,
I
will
send
out
a
survey.
D
D
And
what
we
have
scheduled
is
a
CPR
and
AED
training
for
staff.
We
were,
we
had
a
staff
meeting
one
day
and
we
were
talking
about
the
incidents
that
we
have
during
our
early
voting
periods.
D
Well,
we
have
little
minor
issues
of
people
collapsing
fainting
from
from
standing
in
line,
so
we
thought
that
it
would
be
a
good
idea
for
staff
to
get
certified
in
in
for
in
CPR
and
how
to
work
for
AED
equipment
that
we
don't
have
yet
that
we
will
be
getting
I'm
hoping
soon,
but
it's
just
to
be
able
to
help
someone
if
they
need
help
medically
until
EMS
arrives.
D
So
we
will
have
that
session
schedule
or
a
schedule
on
the
16th
is
being
conducted
by
our
EMS
department
and
after
the
session
staff
will
be
certified
in
CPR
and
first
aid
training
and
also
care
media
conference.
You
should
have
a
yeah.
H
All
right,
I,
don't
know
if
you'll
actually
purchasing
your
AED
equipment
or
not,
but
there's
an
organization
called
arithmia
Alliance
on
Hilton
Head,
where
they
are
looking
for
sites
to
actually
put
the
equipment
in
and
they're
paying
for
it
themselves.
They
cost
about
two
thousand
dollars
a
piece
but
they're
donating
it
to
organizations
that
that
would
like
to
have
it.
I
have
that
information
back
at
my
office
at
home.
I
can
get
that
to
you,
but
they
are
always
looking
for
locations
to
actually
put
the
equipment
and
they
pay
for
it
themselves.
H
The
non-profit
organization,
the
lady
who
runs
it
is
out
of
England,
but
she's
been
living
in
in
the
state
for
quite
some
time.
So
if
you
haven't
purchased
it
or
if
you
don't
have
the
funds
to
purchase
it,
she
might
be
willing
to
do
that
on
your
behalf.
L
L
I
G
Have
we
considered
the
feasibility
of
providing
some
of
this
training
for
our
poll
clerks
and
our
poll
managers,
because
it's
not.
D
D
D
Oh,
some
of
you
don't
even
know
what
scare
is,
but
we
will.
We
will
have
a
scam
media
conference
on
July.
13Th
scare
is
the
South
Carolina
Association
of
registered
and
election
officials,
and
it's
an
organization
that
you
all
are
members
of
as
a
board
member
and
the
conference
is
usually
designed
as
an
educational
session,
and
it's
also
designed
to
have
some
fun.
But
this
one
is
all
work
and
all
no
play.
B
D
Only
one
day,
so
it's
it's
stack
full
of
work
and
I.
Think
they're
they're
going
to
be
offering
a
class
for
board
members
and
they're
going
to
offer
class
for
non-board
members
for
staff
members
I,
don't
know
what
the
class
is
going
to
be
yet
I
don't
have
that
information,
but
as
soon
as
I
get
it
I
will.
Let
you
all
know
if
you
are
interested
in
attending
on
this
session.
Please
contact
me
or
Chris,
and
so
we
can
make
Provisions
for
you
to
go
now.
We
only
have
some
of
that.
D
I
L
D
It's
at
it's
in
Berkeley
County,
it's
going
to
be
at
the
Berkeley
Electric
Co-op.
You
should
have
a
flyer.
D
I'm,
not
sure
I,
guess
for
this
November
we
were
planning
for
the
for
the
2024
election,
but
for
this
November
you
will
have
all
new
election
supplies.
We're
gonna
take
our
little
red
boxes.
The
wheels
are
falling
off
some
of
them.
The
handles
are
snapping
off
some
of
them.
We
will
be
replacing
all
of
those,
so
you
will
have.
The
clerks
will
have
a
new
carrier
for
their
supplies.
You
will
have
new
profession,
provisional
ballot
bags
and
new
transfer
pouches.
So.
I
D
That
will
be
discussed
during
the
training
and
for
for
our
new
board
members.
If
you
don't
know,
you
will
get
a
schedule
of
all
the
briefing
and
we
do
recommend
highly
that
you
attend
at
least
one
of
those
briefings,
and
the
reason
for
that
being
is
that,
typically,
sometimes
you
may
have
to
train
some
of
your
poll
managers.
D
If
they
cannot
make
any
of
the
schedule
briefing,
you
may
be
the
one
ending
up
having
to
train
them,
and
so
you
need
to
know
what's
going
on
with
that,
so
we
always
recommend
that
you
come
to
a
training.
We
will
provide
you
with
all
the
material
that
you
would
need
for
the
training
and
a
sign-in
sheet
which
is
required
for
board
member
I
mean
for
pool
managers
to
sign
in
when
they
attend
a
training.
D
You
will
get
that
schedule
in
the
next
couple
of
weeks.
Probably
we
did
have
scheduled
meetings
already,
but
being
that
now
we
have
a
county-wide
election.
We
have
to
expand
those
training
dates
and
but
it
will
be
in
October
and
it
will
be
before
the
early
voting
period,
which
is
two
weeks
prior
to
the
election.
D
We
do
have
sad
news:
y'all
we're
losing
one
of
our
very
own.
Craig
is
going
to
be
leaving
he's
going
to
be
transferring
to
another
department
within
the
county,
but
he
did
promise
to
come
back
and
help
us
out
during
elections,
and
we
are
also
looking
at
replacing
one
of
our
temporary
part-time.
It's
a
regular
part-time
position,
but
we
only
use
those
people
during
election
time,
so
it's
kind
of
like
a
seasonal
type
position.
D
A
This
is
our
previous
am
I,
correct,
presets
we
don't
have
the
new
presets
added
in
yet.
Is
that
your
question
right?
So
the
nutrients
are
not
added
in
these
are
the
all
the
presets
and
the
highlighted
color.
That
means
that's
your
preset,
where
it's
highlighted,
so
mine
is
highlighted
with
my
name.
So
these
are
my
presets
Beverly
to
your
right.
Those
would
be
your
presets
okay,
so
everyone,
if
you
notice
what
is
highlighted,
that
is
your
preset
and
polling
place.
D
Now
that
doesn't
mean
you
can't
switch
with
someone
if
it's
more
convenient
for
somebody
else,
but
that
would
be
negotiated
between
you
and
that
person
that
you
want
to
switch
with
okay,
but
for
now
it
is
what
it
is
now
Mr
Westbrook
might
want
to
give
up
his
Northern
precincts
on
Hilton
Head
for
somebody
else
and
come
over
to
myself.
D
D
But
I'm
you
know,
but
seriously
you
know,
that's
that's
about
the
fairest
way
we
could
do
it
right
now.
The
board
chair
and
I
talked
about
it.
It's
it's
not
pretty,
but
it
is
what
it
is
and
when
the
new
precincts
go
into
effect,
we
will
be
looking
at
I.
Guess
realigning
them
to
make
it
a
little
bit
more,
even
for
everybody.
D
D
Yeah,
we're
not
changing
anything
right
now,
because
the
new
precincts
now
some
of
the
polling
locations
may
change,
because
we
have
gotten
confirmation
from
some
of
these
polling
locations
already.
We
may
want
to
go
ahead
and
move
them
over
to
their
new
locations,
but
we're
still
working
on
that
as
well.
We'll
let
you
know
if
it
changes.
L
And
between
Gene
and
I,
mostly
Gene,
your
people
will
be
this.
You
you
will
like
the
newer
board
members.
You
will
get
the
people
that
live
in
that
particular
area,
that
already
they
they
know
their
area
and
their
precincts.
Or
what
have
you
so
we're
looking
at
August
and
getting
you
those
list
of
names
for
and
it
will
be
a
master
list
of
your
people
in
those
precincts
and
hopefully
we're
at
the
point
where
there
will
be
only
your
people.
L
In
other
words,
you
won't
be
encroaching
on
another
board
member's
people
when
we
give
you
that
list,
so
everybody
on
your
list
you'll
be
good
to
go
for
anywhere.
You
want
them
to
go
other
people
who
live
somewhere
else,
but
don't
want
to
work
in
their
area
they're
already
assigned
to
their
board
member
understand
what
I
mean
when
I
say
that,
like
some
people
don't
want
to
work
in
Sun
City,
they
don't
want
they
want
to
work
outside
in
Sun
City,
so
we
already
had
them
locked
into
whoever
the
more
memories
that
they
work
with.
L
So
you
wouldn't
see
their
name
in
other
words,
but
everybody
else
that
we
give.
You
will
probably
somebody
that
lives
where
you
are
in
a
working
area
of
one
of
the
precincts
that
you're
responsible
for
so
we'll
get.
We're
gonna
have
to
realign
that,
and
we
should
have
that
ready
for
you,
like
the
middle
of
August,.
D
And
and
when
you
get
those
when
you
get
your
pool
manager,
database
I
would
recommend
that
you
contact
your
your
people
and
let
them
know
who
you
are
you
can
do
it
by
email.
You
can
do
it
by
regular
mail.
You
can
do
it
by
telephone
call.
D
You
know,
however,
way
you
want
to
do
it,
but
let
them
know
that
you
have
been
assigned
that
you're,
representing
the
board
of
voter
registration
and
election
and
you've
been
assigned
to
work
with
them
on
for
elections,
and
you
know
offer
yourself
up
to
them,
so
they
will
feel
comfortable
when
you
call
them
to
work
in
an
election.
You
know
to
say:
yeah
I
know
who
you
are.
D
D
H
Now
all
of
my
presents
north
of
the
Broadhead
and
I
don't
know
where
any
of
these
locations.
I
D
B
L
Lot
of
y'all
don't
know
anything
about
where
your
people
are,
so
what
we
would
do
is
we
would
try
to
set
up
a
date
where
me
and
Gene,
and
one
of
his
other
Michael,
Vernon
or
whatever,
and
we
go
out
into
suburban
and
point
out
point
you
out.
This
is
so,
and
so
this
is
so-and-so.
L
A
All
right,
Marie
anything
else
from
you
not.
C
A
Okay,
all
right
I
would
like
to
ask
the
board
for
permission
to
have
the
chair
to
send
a
written
request
to
the
delegation
to
allow
the
multiple
presets
at
a
polling
place
and
our
chair
will
work
on
getting
that
letter
drafted
yeah
and
then
we'll
come
back
to
the
committee
yeah
and
make
sure
me
and
Marie
will
get
a
copy
and
the
board
and
we'll
look
it
over.
So
we
can
get
it
out
as
soon
as
possible.
Sure
so
can
I
get
a
motion
for
that.
I.
A
All
in
favor
all
right,
okay
motion
has
been
carried
that
we
will
have
a
letter
drafted,
so
we
can
get
started
on
the
work
that
we
need
to
get
done.
This
time
is
of
essence
closing
comments.
I
would
like
to
say
again
Welcome
to
our
new
board
members
and
I
know
already
that
we're
going
to
have
a
great
working
relationship,
and
everyone
is
coming
with
a
lot
of
offer
and
a
lot
of
experience
that
we
can
use
and
we
always
can
get
help
where
I
need
it
and
again
for
those
who
attended
the
Forum.
A
Also
I
got
emails
that
they
attended
the
Forum.
It
was
very
knowledgeable
thank
you
for
attending
The
Forum
and
for
those
who
haven't
attended
yet
it'll
be
great
for
you
to
attend
the
next
one
that
is
scheduled
for
July
5th
and
beautiful,
crowded
Bluffton
at
the
Bluffton
Library.
We're.
A
Shooting
for
50.
at
least
yeah,
and
you
know,
make
sure
the
announcement
goes
out
for
those
of
you.
You
know
who
go
go
into
church
on
Sunday,
make
sure
that
that
announcement
get
out,
I've
already
sent
it
to
our
secretary
and
it
will
be
out
there,
so
everyone
can
get
it.
So
we
can,
like
Marie
said
we
may
be
able
to
get
people
sign
up
to
work
as
a
whole
managers
when
they
see
and
know
the
need
of
what
is
going
on
in
our
County,
because
it's
not
just
for
one
or
two.
A
A
M
I
M
People
usually
respond,
who
may
not
respond
to
the
Allen
packet
or
the
beautiful
Gazette
or
other
usual
okay
protocols
for
announcing
thank.
A
A
Meeting
has
been
second
exactly
okay,
we
need
all
of
that.
I
thought
we
didn't
need
it,
but
okay
meeting
is
now
adjourned
at
3,
13
p.m,
and
we
have
had
a
productive
meeting.
We
got
a
lot
done
today.
Thank
you
to
all.
Please
have
a
safe
Fourth
of
July
holiday
be
safe
with
you
and
your
family
in
France.
Thank.
