✔️ There was a public hearing about 25 structures deemed unsafe. Owners were ordered to raze the buildings within 10 days or enter into a work program to make the necessary repairs. If the owner fails to comply, the city will proceed with demolition. All property owners who appeared before council requesting to enter into the work program were granted the extensions they requested, the remaining structures will proceed to be demolished.

street

streets

vacating
and
abandoning
a
portion
of
the
delta
street
right-of-way
located
at
3575
delta
street
city
of
beaumont
jefferson,
county
texas,
arthur
limbrick,
is
requesting
the
abandonment
of
delta
street
east
of
11th
street.
The
owner
of
3575
delta,
would
like
to
develop
this
property.

access
to
the
property
is
through
the
undeveloped
delta
street
right-of-way
by
abandoning

right-of-way,
a
driveway
can
be
constructed
instead
of

full
city
street
built
to
city
standards
along
the
property
and
just

had
many
requests
to
access
this
property
and
develop

to
some
degree,

moving
forward
with
this

the
request

abandon
the
portion

delta
street

driveway
on
this
easement
will
require
permission
from
the
city
of
beaumont
water
department
and
drainage.

airport

originally
constructed

great
depression

a

project
commonly

activated

army
air
corps

field

for
anti-submarine
patrols,
commercial
service

airlines

county
airport

municipal
airport
as
a
general
aviation
