✨WHAT YOU MISSED AT COUNCIL✨
Agenda Items of Interest:
✔️ Council authorized the City Manager to enter into an Industrial Development Agreement with Linde, Inc. in order to offer economic development incentives for a new industrial project.
✔️ Council authorized the City Manager to award a contract to ALLCO, LLC, of Beaumont, TX, and execute Change Order No. 1 for the Pine Street 48-lnch Raw Water Line Project.
✔️ Held a public hearing to declare 46 structures to be unsafe and order the owners to raze said structures within 10 days. If the property owner fails to comply, staff is requesting City Council authorization to demolish. All those that spoke asking to enter into the work program were granted extensions.
✔️ Held a work session to discuss potential changes to City Council Meetings time and format, which will be discussed further upon citizen input.
